I have long held the belief that how you respond to the bad things that happen are the defining moments of your character. While this experience was unpleasant to deal with after waiting for a week tor Agero (the contracting company for Fords ESP Roadside Assistance) to respond to the claim and subsequent estimate, I got a call from Kit. Yes the Kit as in "Kit's Towing" Seems he was contacted by message and long story shortened, he called me directly on Wednesday (I had started the claim process the previous Tuesday so eight days earlier). He had my car towed to a body shop, with whom he regularly deals, and fixed. He then had the car towed back to my home on Friday evening of the same week! I appreciate the forthright and direct manner in which Kit handled this unpleasant circumstance. I understand that employees sometimes don't act with the best interests of their employer or the customers and the burden then falls on the managers/owners. Things happen but the response in this case, once things settled back to Kit, was exemplary. Thanks Kit! BTW, Matt sent texted a picture of the car on the dolly prior to leaving the dealership to reassure me. I did not get the name of the driver who delivered the car on Friday but he was equally professional and personable. read more

Highly recommended! My car wouldn't start for the past three days (with the temperatures below 0 it wasn't surprising). My roadside assistance sent another towing company (from westmont) to jump start my car (two times at 1am!). since the car wouldn't start after multiple attempts of battery charging, I called the customer service again to get towing arranged to the nearest dealer. when the technician from Westmont arrived again, he claimed my roadside assistance didn't approve the towing and only allowed another jump. It was a lie!! This way they collected the money for towing without doing the work!! He was hoping that since the weather got better, the car would've started. So when the truth came out my roadside assistance scheduled Kit's to come out. And WITHIN 5MIN THEY HAD DETERMINED THAT MY BATTERY WAS PERFECTLY FINE AND THAT SOMETHING ELSE WAS WRONG WITH THE VEHICLE. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED: JAKE was extremely helpful and knowledgeable! So was AJ. The whole process was quick and painless. It took them less time to get the car towed than it took the other guy from Westmont to jump it. Anyways, after 3 nights of late night car assistance I wish Kit's was the first place my roadside assistance was able to have come out. It would've saved me a lot of stress. read more

My Ford Explore over heated and I called State Farm and they called Kit's for assistance. Dispatcher Jeremy called me back to let me know that they where busy and he called State Farm to let them know, to get another company out. He did not want me to wait because I had 2 kids in the truck in the middle of no where. State Farm never called me back but Jeremy did and we made arrangements for me to leave the truck where it was at and I finally got a hold of a family member to pick us up. Truck was picked up and delivered safely from Naperville to Norridge. And the driver called me when he picked it up and when it was dropped off. It was a very stress time but Jeremy worked with me and it all worked out. I also wanted to say that I had to pay extra because State Farm only covered 100 bucks and 10 miles and I was 30 miles out. So at the same time I found out my credit card was missing and couldn't pay for it and Jeremy did not harp or push me to pay because I was still on my way home. And he stated to get home and call when I had arrived. So I did and thanked him. Their number is now in my phone and I would use them and recommend them. read more

These guys are theiving F'ers. Don't use them for anything. The naperville Police department has given them the right to screw over anyone who they tow. I called to get directions to their location and they said sure come get it. When I got there they looked at my paperwork and said I could not pick up the car until 4:30 pm and IT WOULD COST AN EXTRA $45 BECAUSE WE WALKED IN THEIR DOOR! I thought they were kidding but no. Theyn hold your vehicle for ransom and have the police to back them up. The worst Crooks going! I am sure they screw their auto repair customers the same way! THE CITY OF NAPERVILLE ALLOWS THIS and ENCOURAGES THEM THE SCREW THE PEOPLE WHO THEY TOW!! This business has no integrity and deserves no business from anyone. They the are naperville version of the Lincoln Park Pirates. There are plenty of reputable auto service shops in town, try the Auto Meister, the guy is good and fair not a thief like these guys. and toing outfits. $140 for the tow of 4 miles, + another $90 because they have the license to cheat... I hope to return the favor soon! read more

After a misunderstanding with my roadside assistance was resolved, a very nice man named Nick professionally and carefully loaded up my car and towed it to my destination. Nick was pleasant and interesting to talk with and even checked the damage done to my tire (reason I needed towing) so I would have information regarding next step of tire repair. I never had a mishap where I needed towing before, Nick was a ray of joy on a dismal night. read more

Bill at Kit's Towing towed my vehicle to the dealership and did a magnificent job of snaking through incredibly narrow and clogged channels to perfectly place the car in the only space available near the service doors.
