Unfortunately they were the agent sent to unlock my car from AAA. In March 2026. They broke my window switch pressing the wrong button to unlock it, and then denied responsibility and AAA let them get away with it. I will have to report to the BBB and reviews and move on, with 300$ in damage to my car over a simple unlock service that I paid for. read more

*Long Review* T&A Towing has some lazy, ignorant, rude ass employees and owner. AAA should be ashamed to have them contracted with their company. I have never had an issue with AAA until I received services from this company. On 11.25, I was on the expressway and got a flat tire. I should have known it was going to be an issue when I shared my location with the service app and Arthur (T&A employee) claimed he couldn't find me. He finally gets to my location, checked my tire, and claimed he couldn't change it because the lock key didn't fit. I did believe him because it's a New to me Jeep that I purchased 4 weeks prior. He then stated I would have to be towed. This entire time... this situation didn't feel right... but I went with the flow because I was alone, it was dark, and I'm on the expressway shoulder without a ride to get to safety. Anyways... My Jeep was already on the flatbed and I was in the truck with Arthur. He was on the phone and had it on speaker when I heard a man yell aggressively "DON'T LEAVE WITHOUT PAYMENT". I'm thinking... What ima do??? not pay?!? When my Jeep is literally on his truck... Now I'm on my mother account and never had to pay for a tow but I assumed she changed her membership. Arthur told me in the system I only have up to 5 FREE miles. Fast forward.. I'm home and something didn't sit right with me. This man was adamant that the lock key did not fit. Well the next morning I checked for myself... and it DID FIT... It was definitely the RIGHT key! I decided to call AAA. That's when I realised my wallet was missing. The wallet that I have kept in my car for emergencies. I was able to find the number online and called for another tow company. They came and changed my tire within minutes. I called Arthur and left him a voicemail regarding my lock key and wallet. I never received a call back. I then called the company. The man that answered was the same one that was on the speaker screaming about the payment. I told him what happen and asked for a refund and he refused. He never addressed the lock key situation but stated that they do not change flat tires on the expressway... Then he tells me "well you got home safely.. RIGHT?".... This entire call I was frustrated but kept calm. I kept asking him why take the call if you going to force the person to tow? Why didn't he tell me he wasn't allowed to change it on the expressway? Why did your employee lie about the lock key? He couldn't answer any of those questions. It didn't add up to me! The fact is... my lock key was the correct one. If he couldn't change the tire on the expressway because of safety... then he could have towed my car to the nearest parking lot to change the tire... but he chose to lie! When I told him I was going to file a complaint and dispute the charge, he went ballistic. His words "fuck you" "do what the fuck you want" and "I will send it to collections anyway and force you to pay more". He then hangs up. I didn't get a chance to mention my wallet. I called Triple A and found out my mom membership never changed. I have RV Plus with 100 miles of free tow. I shouldn't have been charged. T&A called me back(different guy) and gave me my refund and never called me back about my wallet. The whole thing seemed like a scam. If I didn't have the RV Plus I don't think they would have refunded me. It seem like he didn't want to change the tire and tried to make a quick $84. They succeeded ... at first! I was able to get a refund and had to file a report for my wallet. I am planning to report them to BBB!!! If they are sent to you by AAA. Cancel and get someone else. I used my auto road side assistance and they sent out T and A Towing. I started looking at reviews while I waited and naturally became a little uneasy about some of the reviews, but was immediately relieved. Ali arrived and was able to get my car started and offered me input about what could be wrong with my car. I called the dealer, and they suspected the same thing, but both parties suggested I drive the car around and see if my problems were resolved. I did, and naturally the car stopped again, so I had to put in another service request. Coincidentally, Ali came out a second time. He was nothing but kind and helpful. He worked quick and was able to get my car towed in a speedy manor. I drove with him to the dealership to drop my car off and had great small talk. Obviously take it at what you will, but my experience with T and A, and specifically Ali was great. I would recommend. read more

Ornaldo gave a 10 minute heads-up call and quickly diagnosed the battery for me, provided me two options and had them both available in his truck. He very quickly and professionally changed the battery, explaining the process to me and informing me of the warranty, ensuring I got my receipt and that everything was in working order. My car broke down and we called AAA who apparently uses this company. We told AAA exactly what happened to the car. The first driver came and tired to charge the battery to get the car in neutral to get it on his truck. The battery would not take a charge so he told us we needed a different tow truck. The second driver was scheduled to be there at 12:58. We took our daughter to summer camp, got a call at 12:10 saying he'd be there in 10 minutes, but we were 20 minutes away. He said "ok I'll be there." When we got to the car nobody was there. We called the driver and he said his boss told him to leave because we weren't there and the plates were expired (they were most definitely not expired). We called AAA back again, explained what happened and also explained that my wife is pregnant and cannot sit there for hours waiting. AAA said they would make a note for the driver to call when he was 15 minutes away so we could be there when he arrives. Five minutes after hanging up, we got a call from the driver that he was there already!! We told him we were supposed to be called first so we could meet be there. We were 3 minutes away and he refused to wait. Called AAA back again to explain what happened and how the notes were not followed. We then found out every driver assigned lied in some way about what happened when he got to the car. Finally, we got a notice that a driver would be there at 2:16. He of course did not show up. Called AAA back yet again only to find out this company is declining the service. Terrible, terrible company. AAA equally terrible for continuing to use this company. I finally called another towing company and they came and got the car no problem. We didn't even have to be there. T and A Towing is awful. read more

T & A is considered a AAA towing company but is permanently closed as a towing company online and has no online presence and did not return a phone call when asked. I filed a complaint with AAA. Driver showed up and got ready to start towing the car onto the flatbed tire was flat in the front end and he was towing it from the back end he told me to get into the car and put it in neutral because he didn't want to do it then he started dragging the car when I heard it scraping I started yelling at him that it was scraping noise he did not care that it was there he wasn't paying attention he continued to drag it and ended up cracking the bumper when I was looking at the front of the car to see what kind of damage was done and I told him that the bumper was damaged he's like oh that wasn't me he goes that was already done he goes I'm not going to pay for that you want me to pay for that blah blah blah blah blah we get to the dealership he starts lowering the car stops it right before it starts to scrap and so see it's not touching it's not touching cuz it wasn't me it wasn't me he didn't do any pre checks before he loaded the vehicle he didn't even bother walking around the vehicle he didn't do any of that The car should have been put on dollies and should have checked it he should have made sure he didn't he was extremely rude refused to give me any information so I can file a complaint so now I have to file a complaint with AAA and possibly get a lawyer involved now because he was trying to tell me that it was already broken before he got there yet I had just gotten that bumper replaced I had it reclainted and everything not even a month ago so I know the car was fine do not use them The drivers are rude they're inexperienced and they will swear and cuss at you. read more

I called AAA roadside assistance and they sent this company to help tow. I waited for 4 hours and they never showed. They gave an estimate that they'd be 45 min and then an hour, but then never showed with no further communication. AAA couldn't get a hold of them, and I couldn't get a hold of them. They stated on the report that they couldn't find me, but I was at a major intersection. Very clear to find, and they never called me. They told AAA that they called me, but I didn't receive a call. It's impossible I missed it, as all I did as stare at my phone waiting for them. When I continuously called AAA for updates, they only stated that the towing company was on its way. However AAA said that for over 2 hours and the company never showed, and they couldn't get a hold of the towing company. Definitely not a reliable company. I had a flat tire at my residence before leaving for work annd called Triple A for assistance. Alejandro, from T and A Towing was sent to assist me. He called to say he was on his way, and was there within less than 10 minutes from the time of the call. He was polite, helpful and worked very efficiently and had be up and running in less than another ten minutes. I left a positive review with Triple A already, but wanted to also praise him and his company individually as they really made a day that could have been a real problem into a minor inconvenience. Hands down the worst service imaginable. My car was picked up by the tow truck driver at 1030am and it was picked up by a tow truck only capable of towing one car at a time. The car only needed to travel 1 hour away, and the driver jerked around twiddling his thumbs and didn't get the vehicle there until almost 5 hours later. What the heck these people were doing with my car for almost 5 hours I have no idea. Hopefully nothing is missing from the car. Hands down the worst, most shady service I've seen in a very long time. If you see this name pull to your car I would advise you tell them to go away and wait however long it is for a tow company that won't waste your time. I'll update if anything is missing. read more

Today, interestingly enough, I was saved by T&A. T&A towing, that is. T&A Man's first question to me: Where you from? T&A Man's second question: Do you like Playboy? Odd. Hold up- I'm getting ahead of myself. Let me start from the beginning... I got off work early from my first job today and was hoping to have a little bit of time to myself to do some things I haven't had time for like ooh, I dunno, showering and feeling like a human. But to my dismay I was left at the mercy of the usual suspect: The Universe. It is against me. always. I swear. As I was driving home from my first job my tire basically exploded. The hole was large enough for a squirrel to burrow in and live well for the rest of winter. Infact, I'm seriously thinking of using the tire in my garden as a re-purposed rodent home. #ShesCrafty. Anyway, I can change a tire like it's nobody's business but I do have the now common issue (this is my 2nd flat in a week) of not being able to get the bolts off on my own (I think my muscles have stage fright). I was basically standing on the tire iron and jumping and the bolts would still not come off. #Lame. I call AAA and they tell me someone should be able to come out and help me take those suckers off in about an hour. There goes that extra time I'd gained. :::fast forward to 3 minutes later::: Tow truck is there, parked, and ready to roll! Suck on that, Jimmy Johns! So I tell the guy I can change the tire -no problem- I just need him to get the bolts off. He says nothing, goes back to his truck grabs his WAY nicer tire iron and gets them off in about 40 seconds. I say 'Thank You!' and he says nothing, heads back to his truck, and grabs his WAY nicer jack to unnecessarily but kindly complete my tire changing on his own good will. When he comes back over he gets down to take the old busted ass tire off and asks me 2 questions. (See Above) After that there wasn't much talking from either of us but he did finish changing my tire in the amount of time it probably would have taken me to just lift the old tire off my car. So that was nice. Including the AAA phone call, the entire experience took up about 10 minutes of my day. #Nice! And I decided to spend the other free time I had writing this review. AAA member for over a decade and just last weekend my battery died luckily in a store parking lot and not on the road. Requested roadside assist and told ETA of 40 minutes, which was not a problem. An hour passed and reached out this time to call center of which when I requested status update woman said she would check, left the call and never came back to the call:( 1.5 hours now waiting and finally a call from tow and in route.... 20 minutes pass and another call that can't locate my vehicle even though described and GPS. Had to verbally guide to my location even though he drove by me... Pulled up in an unmarked service van and luckily had a replacement with them. Well, although the service technician was good the invoice I signed for purchase and debit to my bank was not the same:( I reached out to AAA again and was told company was contracted out and could not help me with this dispute. Provided with direct phone contact to T and A Towing of which went to an extension voice mail.. I am very disappointed and will be reaching out to my banking institution for resolve. read more

This was the worst experience that I have ever had with a towing company! They are teamed up with AAA somehow and are absolutely horrible. I called Monday to get a new battery put in and they came out and said oh this needs a special battery and we don't have it. I asked if they could order it which they did and I was told it came in the next day and then called back, and was told again it didn't come in and then, they called back and told me it did come in and they could do it in the morning. Now it is Wednesday morning and I called for service and was told they had the battery last night and now I'm told they don't have it until tomorrow. This is absolutely ridiculous and no way to run a business. Please do not use this company if you do not have to. read more

Juan was awesome, he got the car started but ran the battery thru diagnostics and showed me that the battery needed to be replaced. He had one in his van and installed it. DO NOT CALL THESE GUYS! My daughter locked herself out of her car and we called T&A due to their proximity, and the fact that my daughter needed to be at work in an hour. The guy that showed up was inexperienced, and his workmanship showed it. He damaged her paint, damaged the insulation, & bent the ignition key trying to get it out of the ignition. What was he going to do with it once he did that ?!? Try to pull a wad of keys through the opening he damaged getting the metal rod in there ? After numerous attempts to contact the company by phone, my daughter tried to drive to the location given here, & it does not exist. Terrible customer service, terrible service, and now I'm left paying for repairs and a new key (the expensive kind with the chip in it) These guys never heard of using a tennis ball with a hole cut in it to open the door? A 14 year old in the city can do a better, and faster job of breaking into a car, because his livelyhood depends on it! If they think they can ignore this old wooden shoe, they got another thing coming.... My daughter is just as bad, & she's even got a little Eastern European in her... You don't want to mess around with any of that! Again, DO NOT USE THESE GUYS! It'll wind up costing you money, time & aggravation in the long run. Edit: it gets even better. So, I needed my truck towed and I called AAA. They dispatched my request to T & A. The AAA guy told me the tow truck would be to me within 30 min. After waiting 20 minutes, I get a call from some guy saying "You need a tow truck right?" After I confirmed, he said that he's on is way. So, I asked him about how long it will take for him to get to me (since it's 31 degrees and I have my four year old with me). He responded in a SUPER nasty tone "I don't know how long it will take, how long did AAA tell you it would take?" We exchanged a couple more unpleasantries and he showed up about 15 minutes later. Everything else went as expected, but this guy's nasty attitude was enough for me to make sure I Yelped my experience. If you aren't a people person, maybe you should find a job that doesn't require customer service??? read more

Need a tow? Done. Don't expect anything more in the way of customer service. I left something in the tow truck which drove off after dropping my car at the mechanic. A call to the shop got me an earful of profanity and a time to get my belongings. When I arrived, the moron who had the nerve to speak to me had left someone else to deal with me because he didn't have the integrity to confront me face to face. These guys SUCK. After over 13 years of trouble-free riding, the other day for some strange reason my half-a-ton of touring motorcycle (Honda Gold Wing) chose to go "belly-up" on me at a DuPage county forest preserve on the east side of Naperville. UH-OH! The relative upside to this totally unexpected setback was that the weather was good, I was only a few miles from home and the bike was parked safely off the road. But still, what to do? Call triple-A! The first "provider", (T and A) summoned by the mighty motor-club responded promptly enough (within an hour), but with the wrong type of tow-truck. Hmmm... Seeing as how I had specified very clearly to the AAA rep that the situation required a FLATBED to securely transport this particular motorcycle, I politely questioned the driver (Ari) about the obvious mistake. His first response was an incredulous "What do you mean 'wrong truck'?", and when I insisted he go back to his shop and return with the originally-requested piece of equipment this fairly young man climbed back into his truck & took off "in a huff", presumably to return with flatbed. Not-so-fast-forward a mosquito-infested 90 minutes (did I mention I was in the woods?) and I am on the phone looking for an update from AAA, who then informs me that the disgruntled driver (Ari) from company #! (T&A towing) falsely reported to them that I was "uncooperative & refused service". REALLY? Thanks for nothing T & A. Fortunately after I set the record straight with AAA they sent out a competent gentleman with the proper equipment for the job (very important) from Todd's Auto Body in Plainfield, Thanks for EVERYTHING Todd's! read more

Thankfully when the tow truck pulled up it wasn't blasting Mötley Crüe's Girls, Girls, Girls nor did some ogre of a man jump sporting a 'I support single mom's' pole dancing t-shirt. Guy came here and said battery is dead and it's from 2017 so I should go to Nissan dealership as I will get it for free since it's under warranty. He jumped my car and when my husband got to the dealership service technician said battery is on its last leg but It doesn't have warranty says it's from 2013. I would hope that reading the battery's date is the basic thing one should be able to do especially when they work for a car service. This cost us 2h in route and 45 minutes on the phone with AAA. T &A towing of West Bollingbrook told AAA that we miss understood them and we wanted to go to Nissan. Really? This is not the first time we had a bad experience with them. Why would I possibly want to go to dealership if they could change my battery right in my garage?? We only went to the dealership because T&A technician suggested that we have it under warranty because he mistakenly read 2017 instead of 2013. We didn't get any apologies no free battery nothing... Now I have another T & A towing on my driveway, different guy. Ended up paying $141 plus tax even though AAA told me they should charge me $136.... I don't have energy to fight over $5 so I'm letting go. read more
