Came in 10 minutes after dealing w headaches from roadside assistance . I needed a new battery installed that I had purchased my own-and instead of waiting 3-4 hours , I just called Dazzos and Bill was dispatched- he was done in 5 minutes- great guy, great company, fair pricing and no more headaches from insurance. My load got canceled because I had 2 hole on my trailer. I needed to get fixed. I googled and I found this place. It took him LITERALLY 15 min and he charged $350. I asked him why so much he said $50 for materials and $300 for labor 15 minutes and $300 for labor ?????? I think it's a little too much. Explained my problem he said he send me a text and if I could send address they would be there as soon as possible. Heard that story before and usually means a long wait. He was angry because my car was there for four days on a repair that I later had towed to another shop and they fixed the issue in 30 minutes. This guy is a joke and so is the company. It was about an hour before they got there but when we called back for an update we found it was because the police had called for a tow and they had to go there first. When they arrived the driver was very knowledgeable and helpful. We were talking this morning about how to get the kids to day care tomorrow and the garage called us - the car was done on a Sunday! I have used both the towing service and the auto repair service, both are excellent. They bent over backwards to come and get me quickly when I was broken down at the side of the road. Prices are competitive and they were honest about what needed to be done and what did not. They stuck to their estimate even though the work took longer than expected. Can't I rate negative stars? The towing part of Dazzo's is shady. They were called in to tow some cars that had been using a vacant lot for parking. Vehicle owners had been parking there for years with no indication that there was an issue. Dazzo put up a small "unauthorized vehicles will be towed" sign on a Thursday night. (The sign was placed very inconspicuously.) This was the only warning given to the vehicle owners. 24 hours later, under the cover of darkness they removed the cars. On Saturday, when I noticed my car was gone, I went to Dazzo's and was charged $192.50 to get my car back. Multiply that by the number of cars they took and add $45.00 each day a car was not retrieved, and Dazzo made out very well for a few hours of towing. Did they do anything illegal? No. Did they piss off potential shop and tow customers? You bet they did! read more

While in frigid temperatures (-16 with a wind chill of -47), my husband ran over something in the road that caused his car to become disabled. I was referred to Dazzo's by the car dealership when I requested a tow. I called them, and within half an hour a tow truck was at my husbands car. I recently tore a door off of the trailer I was pulling and had to call my company to arrange repairs. they contacted Dazzo's. They sent a guy out that was not very competent and didn't have the correct tools for the job! As a result, they took 3 times as long as it should have to do the job, AND charged me that extra time. The parts they used they charged me 4 times what I found them online for. And they were going to leave without replacing all the bolts required! Shady folks, if you ask me. Apartment rental and townhouse etc., often hire this co. to tow vehicles that are not properly parked etc. Problem is that Dazzo's thinks every vehicle is improperly parked, if your a visitor at a complex and don't have a car sticker they just tow. Very poor business behavior and I suggest you turn them into the Illinois Commerce Commission along with the BBB if you had a bad experience with them. I wish these rental companies would smarten up and use a reputable towing company. They need to train their drivers, however since the drivers get paid per tow they tow everything and make it your problem. They cannot comprehend best practices. read more

This is a company without a heart and willing to tow a woman's car who has stage 4 cancer and on oxygen. I admit, I was parked in the wrong place because I was concerned to get my mother into a restaurant for an attempt at an enjoyable day (for which she has had none in five months). I saw the driver hooking up my car and I pleaded with him not to take my car. He told me "I'm not paid to care!" The Citgo mgr who called for the tow asked the driver not to take the car and the driver said "unless someone has $200 CASH, I'm taking the car." To shorten the story, once we got to the shop, the owner was asked if there was anything he could do. He did nothing. I understand that I was parked in the wrong place for ten minutes (literally), but it is sad when you have to put stress on a woman has more on her plate than she needs already. HEARTLESS. read more

In the past year, they worked on my sons car at least 3 times. They even towed his car in the middle of a snowstorm and had it ready within 2 days. Bob Dazzo went above and beyond when the hitch in my truck failed with my brand new fifth wheel in tow. When he came to rescue me, he was so kind as to land my home away from home in his lot for what turned into four nights while I had my hitch repaired. He even hooked me up with electricity and water. My repair was an RV warranty issue, it had nothing to do with his auto repair business, he was only paid for a tow and on that he saved me 75 miles.
