This business has closed down and is now MKE Mike More Miles. Sorry to see a mom and pop shop close up. I hope it was on your terms.

Brett and Mike Waid did an excellent job on diagnosing a problem on my f150. It was a fuel pump…read morerelay module and I just read how that problem has caused many headaches $ for mechanics and car owners because many times they'll put a new fuel pump in then 2 days later this issue pops up. When this module starts to go bad it will Intermittently work before it totally goes. If you think Belle tires is only about tires, brakes and oil changes, you're sadly mistaken they're a fully equipped garage with qualified experienced mechanics. I will definitely go back to Belle tire in Montgomery il for any problems in the future

If I could give this Belle Tire location zero stars, I would. Absolutely pathetic customer service…read moreand management. I made a 12:00 PM appointment specifically for an alignment. The GM, Bob, personally checked me in, so there should have been absolutely no confusion that I had an appointment and was waiting for my vehicle. I then sat there for TWO HOURS, watching customers who arrived after me get serviced while nobody bothered to give me a single update. Bob, the GM who checked me in, never once came over to explain what was happening or why my car hadn't been serviced. Eventually, I had to go ask for a status myself. Another technician--not Bob--finally looked into it and told me I had somehow been marked as a "drop-off." How does the GM personally check in a waiting customer with a scheduled appointment and then have that customer entered as a drop-off? After wasting two hours of my day, they finally told me they couldn't perform the alignment because of wear on one tire. It took TWO HOURS to determine that? If the tire prevented the alignment, someone should have inspected it shortly after my noon appointment and told me immediately. The most unacceptable part is the complete lack of communication and accountability from the GM. Based on my experience, Bob's handling of this was completely incompetent. A general manager should be making sure customers are taken care of, not checking them in and then apparently forgetting they exist while people who arrived later are serviced. Belle Tire management should seriously evaluate whether Bob should be running this location because service like this does nothing but hurt the business and drive customers away. They certainly lost my business. Unprofessional. Disorganized. Incompetent management. Two hours completely wasted. I would NEVER recommend this location.

I've now had two experiences with this Firestone location, and both have reminded me that good…read morecustomer service still exists. A couple of months ago, I had a tire-pressure warning go off when I was only a few minutes from home. I'd already tried to put air in my tire at two different gas stations, with no luck, and I was extremely upset. I came here in tears, not knowing what else to do, and they helped me without hesitation. They even told me I didn't need to get out of my car. Today, I had another tire-pressure issue. I called about 45 minutes before closing, and the gentleman I spoke with told me to come in and that they'd take care of me. Within minutes of arriving, he came out and filled all four tires to the proper pressure. I tried to give him a $10 tip because I genuinely appreciated him taking the time to help me, especially so close to closing, but he wouldn't accept it. He simply asked me to leave a Google review. This is the second time they've helped me without making me feel like an inconvenience or expecting anything in return. That kind of kindness and customer service deserves recognition. I know exactly where I'll be going whenever I need tire service, and this is the business I'll recommend to anyone who asks. Thank you for treating people with kindness and for being willing to help when someone needs it. It means more than you probably realize.

I had a very frustrating experience with Firestone recently. I accidentally made an appointment at…read morethe Montgomery location, so I called this location ahead of time to explain the situation and ask if they could fit me in for a headlight repair. I specifically explained that I needed a new headlight, not just a bulb, so they knew what I was coming in for. I also mentioned that I work in the same plaza and dropped my car off a little before 11 AM. At 6 PM, I called to check on my car, only to find out they had just pulled it into the shop and that they weren't able to replace the headlight that day. My issue isn't with the staff personally. The mechanic did what he could at the last minute to temporarily rig the headlight, and I genuinely appreciate his effort. My frustration is with how this situation was handled. I specifically called ahead, explained what I needed, and left my car there for over seven hours, only to find out at the end of the day that the repair couldn't be done. Had I been told earlier, I could have contacted another shop and potentially gotten it taken care of that same day. Instead, I had to drive 40 minutes home with a headlight out. I also want to be clear that I was not irate or raising my voice. I was understandably frustrated. On multiple visits, I've been told the shop is short-staffed or someone has called off. I understand that staffing issues happen, but when this keeps coming up, it becomes a management problem. Customers shouldn't have to waste an entire day because a business isn't adequately prepared to handle its workload. Staffing issues are not the customer's responsibility, and they shouldn't be an excuse for poor communication or a lack of planning. This is now the second time I've had a disappointing customer service experience here, and it's becoming difficult to overlook. My recommendation is simple: assess the vehicles coming in and be realistic about what can actually be completed that day. If you can't service a vehicle, tell the customer upfront instead of letting it sit for hours with no progress. My time is just as valuable as anyone else's, and a little honesty would have allowed me to make other arrangements. I appreciate the mechanic who tried to help, but overall, this experience was unacceptable. Customers shouldn't have to chase down updates at the end of the day just to find out their vehicle was barely looked at. Better communication, accountability, and time management are clearly needed.

The vehicle did not have an alignment issue before. While it was there, they worked on the alignment. After they touched it, the vehicle was no longer properly aligned, and they were unable to correct it. What's even worse is that the manager later told me this location is not certified to work on this type of vehicle. So my question is simple. If you are not certified, why did you touch the alignment in the first place? Because of their work, the rear driver's side tire, which was in good condition, is now worn and needs replacement. When I came back asking them to take responsibility, the manager offered to refund what I paid. Refunding does not fix my vehicle. Land Rover charges around three hundred dollars just for the diagnostic, plus about three hundred sixty for the alignment, plus a new tire. I'm looking at close to a thousand dollars to correct a problem that started with their work. And instead of helping, the manager told me to leave and threatened to call the police for trespassing. I came back because my vehicle had a problem after their service, and I wanted them to make it right. Being threatened with police for asking a business to take responsibility is completely unacceptable. Again, I did not bring my vehicle in with an alignment problem. I brought it in for tires, and now I'm the one paying for the consequences. Strongly caution anyone against bringing a Range Rover or any vehicle that requires specialized alignment to this shop. This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had.
