Reliable, prompt, honest, and affordable service. I have trusted this shop for many years.

Usually, when there is a problem with my vehicle, I YouTube it. Get an answer and attempt the project myself. Something small like electrical is up my alley but anything else I need help with. I've bought two cars from the owner. The first one he said it'll go another 50,000 miles before it needs anything and sure as shit I went 80,000 miles before I needed anything major. Come to think of it. I go in there lot with car problems (7 vehicles in my life) . Cool flow is fast and efficient. They are always there to diagnose it and help me out when I can as far as understanding what is exactly wrong with my vehicle. I recently just bought a 300 from cool flow. Dan is a heck of a guy. He let me save up for the money first. I know he could have sold it at anytime but I told him I wanted it and he set it aside for me. I can scream in ur face til mine turns blue about why cool flow automotive being the best car auto experience until then change my mind read more

Dan and Brett are awesome. They are my go to mechanics. I've gone to this shop multiple times because I am so pleased with the service. They are friendly, honest, and know what they are doing. I've had quotes from other places and they are usually right in line or less expensive than other shops. I can't recommend this place enough. Added bonus: there is a nice spot to sit and watch tv with comfy chairs. They have an extensive movie collection that my daughter loved along with hot chocolate. Dan even brought his dog into the shop to keep him company. Thanks for all of your help, Dan and Brett! read more

Dan and Bret took good care of my 2006 Sienna minivan, which needed a new radiator. The pricing, workmanship, and customer service were exemplary. I'm glad I found them! read more

Love Cool Flow!! I've used them for many years. Dan is a gracious and kind man. The work they do is always just what is needed, and no more. He always explains in detail what is needed, and afterwards what was done. read more

Took my Honda CRV in to have the steering checked because I had a vibration. Dan at Cool Flow fixed it for considerably less that the dealership was going to charge and in time for our road trip. I also brought a used Lexus I purchased which needed considerable work. Cool Flow checked the car over meticulously and fixed all its issues and made it the reliable car I was looking for. read more

I love that they are family owned. Great service and honest. They don't try to sell you extra and will always best honest about repairs.

This place is freaking awesome! Truly family owned and comfortable. Every time the owner walks in his wife says "Honey?" then proceeds to ask about some type of rsvp event (not that I was eves dropping) she is working on behind the counter. I feel like I'm sitting in a friend's living room. I wish all places were like this! One of the most amazing automotive shop experiences I've ever had and possibly the best experiences as a consumer ever. No lie. The other thing is I don't think the guy is rude as stated in another review I think he is just a to the point kind of guy. So sit back in the awesome leather recliners in front of the 50" and chill bro. Lol read more

Called for a quote regarding installation for a custom axle-back exhaust system. I would be supplying all the parts and all they would supply is piping and installation. After a minute phone call I was told they could not install it even though they state on their website they do exhaust. I asked why they couldn't install it and got attitude,a "whatever" and hung up on. Nice customer service. read more

Outstanding! I drove from Bartlett after my dealer told me I needed over 2k in repairs. Dan and his sons fixed both of my problem for MUCH less. I am totally happy and highly recommended their services. Fair, honest and knowledgeable is what the customer should be entitled to and Cool Flow delivers! They are my new " Go To " repair shop. read more

We took my wife's car here to fix the AC. They called and quoted me $1600 for a new compressor. I approved the work and they ordered the parts. When the parts came in and they got started, the technician discovered it was only a broken wire preventing the compressor from cycling on and off. He replaced the wire and billed me only $250. I'm very impressed with the honesty and quality of their work. They could have taken me for $1600 because I had already approved the work, had the parts, and I never would have known. But, they did what was right. They fixed the real problem and billed me fairly. And they did it quick. We'll be back. read more

Family owned, very cool, friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely cost effective services. We are going to be repeat customers!

Cool Flow is the best auto service we have ever had. Dan and his son are honest as the day is long. They do great work and at a reasonable price. I'm so sad that we just moved out of the area and have to find new car guys. As far as the negative review I see on here, I simply cannot believe it. Completely out of character from the Dan I know. He has always been very kind to me, to all my friends who have gone there, and to my parents who have gone there. Do yourself a favor and take your car to Cool Flow. read more

Incredible. It's like going to your brothers place - if your brother was an automotive genius and loved movies (and if you like your brother)! I have been going to Cool Flow for many years now. Dan and his team always find out what is wrong and are able to make repairs timely. He has never made the wrong call and had me pay for an unnecessary repair like some other places I went before finding him. Dan is honest. If your budget is tight, he will let you know what needs to be done now to keep the car safe to drive and what can be done later. The office side offers a very friendly family atmosphere waiting area with comfortable sitting and a variety of movies to help pass the time while waiting. A favorite part though is the coffee "bar". Any true coffee drinker will envy the k-cup choices. Common sense approach to car repair, very knowledgable and affordable, from oil changes to major repairs, I wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

I haven't had my car worked on by these guys but I called to ask their opinion. They spent some time with me on the phone and gave an honest opinion. They mentioned they don't do coolant flushes anymore as they got rid of the equipment so rather than waste my time and give me a line about how they could fix my problems, they were honest. That goes a long way with me. I would take my vehicle to these guys. read more

Dan and his son are great to deal with. They are very honest, efficient, thorough and really nice to deal with. I brought my daughter's car in for a coolant system service and they had me in and out quickly and for a lower coat than I was originally quoted. I highly recommend them. read more

I have been going to cool flow for over 15 years and have saved lots of money over going to the dealer, they know how to diagnose and fix check engine or any maintenance and stand by their work. I have yet to be disappointed. read more

Dan and his son are great to deal with. They are very honest. I brought my 2005 Dodge ram truck for service. Great service reasonable price I would highly recommend them to my friends and family. read more

Whatever you do...if you are close to this guy....on second thought, even if you are not close, please do yourself a favor and go here for your car service. I have gone several times for brakes and tires and other smaller services. Each time, Dan has been honest and 100% of the time has saved me money by not performing a repair other service centers gave said I needed. this has happened with brakes 2 times Other shops said I need a 4 wheels and turn out I still had 50% remaining on my rear wheels for brakes. Please. Call Dan. Trustworthy, honest and even the services that ARE needed are very affordable. These guys rock! read more

Brought my old tired 1995 f250 work truck in . I've been courting new repair shops since had issues with last few I came across . These guys were at Cool Flow were pretty quick at diagnosis and repairing. Might have found my go to shop ! read more

These guys are awesome. We got our brakes and rotor changed and the price was reasonable and exactly what they quoted over the phone. They had dvds and comfy chairs in the waiting room and finished up their work in the quoted time (an hour and a half!). We will be bringing our other car in, soon! read more

I went in to see them because my check engine light came on, and they said that I have a bad air sensor and would be $250 to replace. Turns out the senor was doing its job because only a few days later, the exhaust pipe separated for the catalytic converter and needed to have it all replaced. So instead I went to Car X and after work was done, my check engine light came off. I glad I trusted my gut feeling and waited on replacing sensor. Moral of the story? Whenever a repair shop says you have bad sensor, always question whether the sensor truly is bad, or just doing its job to by picking up another more significant problem with the engine. And, never ask an auto parts store where to go to get car fixed because they are in cohoots with which ever repair shop they recommend. read more

Absolutely amazing customer service. Brought in my Honda CRV for an air-conditioning problem and they went above and beyond the call of duty to help me out in a tough time. They have my families business for life!!! I can't recommend them enough! Thank you so very much! Its good to know there are still honest family owned businesses out there looking out for the consumer! read more

Cool Flow is the only place I would ever take my car. Dan & Brett are friendly, honest, and provide great service. My husband & I have been going there for years. We have referred all of our friends & family. Everyone has nothing but good things to say and they have all become loyal customers. They do great work at unbeatable prices. Dan has always been honest with what needs to be repaired at a reasonable cost and in a timely manner. I cant help but address the negative review.....There is no way that Dan would ever do that. He is a very respectful & respectable business owner. He has always been friendly & kind to us and anyone else we have seen in his shop. Always greets you with a smile. I contacted Dan at Cool Flow through the website portal to set up a reservation and in mere minutes I received an email from him asking how he could help. I explained my car failed its emissions test and explained that I needed to get the car fixed to pass the retest. He emailed me back right away again telling me to bring the car any time and that he'd provide an estimate. I brought the car in the next morning and spoke briefly with Dan about what my failed emissions results were and left. Less than an hour later I got a call and the problem had already been identified. Dan explained the problem and the estimate was reasonable and had no hidden or surprise costs. I gave the go ahead to do the work and a few hours later my car was done and had passed emissions. Great experience. Communication couldn't have been better. I'll be back. read more

Excellent service, quick, and trustworthy. My body shop referred me to Cool Flow as they go to them also. He provided a free estimate on my brakes and told me I didn't need to replace my calipers as the other shop (Acorn Tire) had told me--a savings of $500+. I will definitely go there for any work I need on my car. read more

Cool Flow has been great to our family and our 3 cars for years! My son brought his car to a chain oil change location when he was out of town. They told him that we needed $1,500 worth of work on our 2005 Accord, when we brought it to Dan, he told us the car didn't need that work. Cool Flow is always honest and want you to make sure you come back. Waiting area has Wi-fi, coffee and movies always going on the tv to keep you entertained. Everyone needs a mechanic you can trust, Dan is that guy. read more

I went out to my car and had a flat tire. I called AAA and a tow truck driver came and put my spare tire on and told me that I should go to Cool Flow automotive to have them fix my tire. I told him that I usually go to Good Year and that's who I trusted. He said "Absolutely not - you need to start going to Cool Flow Automotive, they are a father and son team, and the neighborhood garage for Naperville. I thought I would give them a try. Dan fixed the hole in my tire for free. I came back a few weeks later for brakes and I told him I used to go to Good Year... And asked him how much he would charge for a radiator for my car. He told me, $425 I was shocked! I just sold my gold to pay $788.98 for a new radiator at Good Year. They totally ripped me off... I had no idea how much a radiator should cost and just trusted them. I never went back and have been coming to Cool Flow for three years now! Dan and his son Brett are honest and are more about the customer than the money they can make off of your car troubles! Thank you to the tow truck driver that sent me here - he was right! Cool Flow is the place to go! read more

They are available for emergencies and will freely offer sound advice. You can't go wrong with Cool Flow for your auto repair needs. read more
