Full circle moment revisiting Kitchen Craft (formerly Kitchen Corner) Started off reviewing them when they were just a food truck... now they've got a restaurant AND still running two food trucks. The growth is real. And what I love most? The consistency. That tenderness in the meat still hits every single time. The sides Mac and cheese, yams, greens, the sauces, oxtails, ribs, brisket, sausage everything was on point... real BBQ done right. Atmosphere amazing & Staff Excellence Service And I have to say it don't skip the dessert. That banana pudding Smitty's Signature Banana Pudding at the end?? yeah... that was the final reason I was sold @smittys_signature_pudding Location 8320 Alondra Blvd, Paramount, CA 90723 #BBQReview #KitchensCraftBBQ #FoodieFinds #LosAngelesFood #BlackOwnedBusiness

Great place. Spacious dining room. A little warm but not too bad. The food was excellent. Meats were tender and juicy. Beans were amazing. Cornbread was incredible. Mac and cheese was gooey delicious. The service was friendly and helpful. Died of service was good. We'll definitely make the drive to try other menu items.

This is off the beaten path but the road goes right to your hot. Must gets: brisket, turkey, sausage link, Mac n cheese, and sweet potato corn bread. Brisket chili is delicious too but it's a lot. The vibe here is good; they always have music playing unless they have a playoff game on. The old blues music rocks.

Kitchens Corner has been on my radar since their food truck days in Compton, so I was really excited when they opened this brick and mortar location. I've visited a few times since the grand opening, and one thing I've consistently noticed is how much they've improved their process with each visit. On my most recent stop, I came in around noon and was pleasantly surprised by how smooth everything felt. The line moved quickly, and our food came out to the table faster than expected. That alone made the experience feel more polished compared to earlier visits. The portions are solid and definitely satisfying. I ordered the turkey with mac and cheese both were flavorful and hit the spot. My dining companion went all in with ribs, brisket, and sausage, plus mac and cheese, and everything was well-prepared and hearty. They have indoor and patio dining and I. Priced during today's visit that they now have an awning for the patio. The have the games playing on TVs inside and they have speaker boxes playing outside. Parking is easy, which is always a plus in this area, and the service has improved each time I've come in. If you're planning a visit, I'd recommend coming during the week. Weekends can get pretty busy, and wait times do increase. Overall, it's great to see them finding their rhythm, definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

Ribs, brisket, hot links, all of the sides, baked beans, mac & cheese, potato salad everything is fire!!! bomb!!!! 10 out of 10!!!! Definitely come here. Bring your friends. Bring the fam. There are lots of tables in a big dining room with plenty of seating. You order at the counter, everyone is very helpful and helps if you need suggestions. Great food, great location. You won't regret it.

First off, let me just say... Kitchen Crafts Barbecue is a whole vibe! The ambience, the music, the energy... immediately yes, everything was on point. I don't know if anybody else felt this way but I felt like I wasn't even in California anymore. It felt like I was in Texas, and I absolutely loved that for me! Everybody was so nice, welcoming, and helpful. I usually go to the food truck, which I already love, but this time I decided to pull up to the restaurant, and I'm glad I did! I ordered two half pound orders of brisket, plus the cornbread, FIRE! The yams, and greens, and my family loved it as well. Everything was good. I love barbecue and it was very tender! What y'all say tendernism!!! Very much that! I Kitchen Corner gets a 10 out of 10 from me. Being able to sit down, enjoy the music, the food, and the whole vibe just took the experience to another level. I'm so happy to see a Black owned business moving with this much excellence, professionalism, and flavorrrrr!!! They're really doing big things, and I wish them nothing but continued success, blessings, and growth. I'll definitely be back soon!

Had this BBQ spot on my list forever and after seeing it all over social media, I had to try it. Not gonna lie, I feel like I could taste it through my phone . The hype is REAL! BBQ was on point--super flavorful and cooked just right. But the real surprise? The fried chicken (yeah, at a BBQ spot) and it was FIRE!!!! Definitely lived up to expectations. I'll be back for sure.

The customer service is commendable, and the visuals of the food are impressive; however, I likely would not return for the food itself. It seems they rely heavily on rubs rather than a variety of seasonings, resulting in a lack of flavor. On the positive side, the charring on the meat is quite well done. The establishment is very clean, and the portion sizes are generous, ensuring you will leave feeling full. While the taste could benefit from additional flavor, I would recommend it to others primarily for its presentation. Personally, I would not revisit, but it is worth noting that this is a commendable black-owned business.

It just is SOOO tasty! Very welcoming and hearty portions! Very spacious inside and this business is family owned and they even pretty much grew up in Paramount so they know their community already . Come on by for some home cooking !

I been coming to this place since they had their BBQ truck on E. Rose St in compton for a long time. Now a storefront we can sit and eat and the place is great with inside, outside chairs. Get all the BBQ sauces you want from OG, spicy and carolina style. The plate i go to is the #1 with brisket, ribs and choice of chicken, beef or house made sausages. All are delicious no matter what option you choose. They have a big parking lot in the back so no issues parking far away. Its good BBQ in the city of paramount! They also have good fried chicken. I been back already 3 times. Everything is good here and they give you plenty of good on the trays compared to other places i been. Food rating: Oxtail platter 8.9\10 Kitchen classic platter 8.8\10

This is a new barbecue spot in Paramount. Service was friendly and fairly efficient on the evening I was there. It was busy so it seems like Kitchen's Craft must have good word of mouth. There was a diverse group of customers and the TVs in the restaurant were showing the NBA playoffs. The mac and cheese was good. My daughter enjoyed the sweet potato corn bread. I felt that the potato salad had too strong of a mustard flavor. The fried chicken was just okay. The best thing I ordered was the beef brisket which can be purchased by the half pound. My husband ate it up and it was fork tender. They also offer about three different barbecue sauces at a self serve area in one corner of the restaurant. We'll definitely be back because my husband wants to try their oxtails.

This truly was the best bbq I have had in years!!! The cornbread muffins, ribs, brisket, baked beans , yams, FRIED chicken ALL SLAPPED! Pure FIRE!! Oh I forgot to mention the house made link ... delicious. I can't wait to go back. They were sold out of Dino ribs so next time I will make sure to get there earlier.

This place was recommended to us, and what better day to try it out than the 4th of July weekend. It heavily reminded us of Destination Smokehouse with the flow, menu, and high prices, but at least this is a black-owned restaurant, which is always a plus! Though we arrived about an hour after they arrived, that already seemed to be late lol, but the line wasn't too long, and it definitely took awhile to get to the front. I did enjoy the customer service, especially the women who were helping us, as they were sweet and helpful. After really narrowing down the options that we wanted and identifying the amount, we decided to go with 2 lbs of oxtails, 2 lbs of brisket, a few orders of the sweet potato cornbread, and the yams, which were definitely pricey compared to other BBQ places. From what we ordered, it didn't appear to be that much food, but I can say that everything was pretty good, with my favorite being the oxtails and brisket. I think next time, I would choose more sides to get a better idea of their menu and how everything was overall, but it was a nice stop.

So i am a bit confused about the photos here, because there is an actual restaurant looking place,…read moresome little cart and a food truck. Hopefully they are all related. My review is based on the food truck. It was my son's birthday. He was allowed to chose anything he wanted for dinner. Any price point... anything. Well i had seen this on Instagram and shared it with him two weeks prior. At first he wanted to go to Nobu or there were a few other high end options, but that is not his style honestly. Luckily, he remembered the post that I shared. He wanted to go here. Well, buckle up kids, we are going on a field trip! We left work/schools early and took a drive to Compton. When our navigation said we had arrived it suggested we park in the lot across from the library. Ok. There directly in front of the library was the food truck. There was a small line, so that was ideal. Not a long wait. My other smaller human and i went to wash their hands in the library. When i came out he had ordered the hungry man or something. It was more than enough for us. The oxtail was good. The ribs were good. The chicken was good. The cornbread was yummy. Just not over the moon for the greens... and i loooove collard greens. But that's ok. We went for the meats. They were out of the dinosaur ribs, so maybe if we go early enough next time, we can try those. We took it across the street to the park and ate and that was enough time for the small one to also play to get energy out before we headed home. The drive home was long, now that rush hour traffic had started. But none of us complained, because the meal was worth it.

It was rich, flavorful, and actually tasted homemade. The BBQ was impressive, smoky, tender, and seasoned just right. I really enjoyed it. The chicken was juicy and full of flavor. I've been here a few times before, mainly for the sides, but after this experience I honestly don't know if I'll return. I ordered a lunch chicken plate and was never told it would take over 40 minutes. Had I known, I either wouldn't have ordered or would have asked for a refund much sooner. Meanwhile, customer after customer who ordered after me received their food before I did. When I finally got my order, there was no apology or acknowledgment of the delay. I asked if there was anything they could do for the inconvenience, and the only thing offered was a free slushy. I don't even drink soda. A side dish or something more thoughtful would have made more sense. To make matters worse, when I got home, the chicken portion was very small and the two sides were tiny about the size of dressing cups. It's disappointing because I actually do like their flavors, but good food only goes so far when the customer service experience is this poor.
