The coleslaw had absolutely no flavor, and the chicken just didn't have the taste I remember from back in the day. The biscuit was also really bad. After waiting so long to satisfy that craving, the whole experience was a letdown. What disappointed me even more was the customer service. The employees had absolutely no personality--very dry and almost robotic. Whatever happened to good old-fashioned customer service? SMH. ‍ Unfortunately, this will be my last visit to this location. I'm going to have to give the Boyle Heights location a try and hopefully they still have it going on. Crossing my fingers! For anyone thinking about trying Pioneer Chicken again, save your money and skip the Bell Gardens location. Hopefully the Boyle Heights location can bring back that old-school Pioneer Chicken experience I remember.

My friend who frequents this place said the menu has changed there are less items to chose from now. They have a daily specials. On Tuesday they have buy 1 hot dog and get the 2nd one 50% off sounds like a great deal. I got 2 chili dogs. Why the 2 Stars? I was sadly disappointed by the taste and quality of the hot dog. My friend said they changed the hot dogs, they used to have a casing on the dogs that snaps when you bite into them, that's long gone. These chili dogs were small not worth the $8.05 that they're charging. And the chili lacks flavor, I get better taste from a can of Hormel Chili. The Famous Chili Dogs of the Whittier Blvd cruising days are over. That's my honest 2 cents about it.

As soon as I walked in my first thought it's lunch time and the music is too loud for me. I do like that it's a variety of different kind of music. Not my favorite at all but at least it's a variety, country, hip hops, top hits. This free meal you could tell it was made to order came to our table nice and hot and fresh tasting. It included 2 st. Luis style spare ribs, a coleslaw that was not full of mayo, a nice warm little corn muffin, and all you can eat shrimp. Yes I tested it , I kept ordering shrimp and it was coming out piping hot and delicious they bring you around 8 the first time the second time maybe 6 shrimp the third time another 6. I also ordered the wings that were nothing special half sweet and zesty and the other half buffalo. Think it could have been 10 pcs may have gone by weight. Did this free meal coupon entice me to come back? I am not sure if it's something I'd come back for it's difficult since my brother in law makes some really delicious slow cooked ribs. 5 stars because of the good service and they honored the coupon it states a free bbq sauce bottle this bottle wasn't mini sized either, nice!

Not only do they have many unique glizzies, but they also offer burgers. I've tried the following: - House Dog, which is their classic glizzy that comes with grilled veggies, house spread, mayo, mustard ketchup, and bacon bits. - Dirty Chili Dog, which comes with 100% premium all beef Nathan's 5/1 dog wrapped in center-cut bacon, chorizo chili, cheddar sauce, onion, cilantro, chipotle aioli, and bacon bits. - Elote Dog, which also comes with Nathan's 5/1 dog wrapped in center-cut bacon, corn, lime mayo, cotija cheese, chili powder, cilantro, and bacon bits. -Dirty Fries, which comes with chili-lime seasoning served with spicy ketchup. - Dirty Esquite, which is their version of the traditional Mexican street corn (elote). This side dish has lime mayo, cotija cheese, chili powder, cilantro, and bacon bits. - Single (burger), which has a single patty, American cheese, and caramelized onions on a brioche bun. I really like all of their street corn items: the Dirty Esquite and the Elote Dog. The House Dog and Dirty Chili Dog are your classic flavors, and you can't go wrong with either. Next time I want to try the LA Cheesesteak Dog and the DUI Dog, which in addition to the usual Nathan's 5/1 dog, center-cut bacon, bacon bits, it also comes with pastrami, carne asada, cheddar cheese, chipotle aioli, and cilantro.

This place really is Asian fusion! The menu is so diverse with so many flavors of different Asian…read morecuisines. I felt almost confused at first, like as if the restaurant wasn't even sure of its own identity. However, once I started eating the food, I understood and am extremely impressed. I had ordered the crawfish pasta, popcorn chicken (spicy), and fried baos. The pasta was cooked perfectly with chunks of crawfish and sausage in a creamy tomato-esque sauce. I usually don't care for crawfish, but it was so delicious here. The sauce was so buttery and creamy, and the sausage added a cajun spice to the dish. The components are all very seafood boil, but felt different and innovative with unique flavors. The popcorn chicken was seasoned very well and had the perfect fried, crispy texture you'd expect from popcorn chicken. What really made this unique was the sauce that it was served with. I am not sure what exactly the sauce is, but it tastes like a ginger scallion sauce that is served with Chinese boiled chicken. The sauce is a little more elevated and flavorful than a traditional ginger scallion sauce. I would've never thought to combine popcorn chicken with it, but it works! The fried baos were the most surprising to me. I was keeping my expectations low because I usually think frying something that's not normally fried doesn't always bode well. Fear not, the baos were fried perfectly. They were fried lightly while the inside kept your typical bao consistency. Also, in case you were wondering the type of bao, it is basically a steamed bao with ground pork, and I think an egg yolk inside. The flavors felt very much like traditional dim sum, yet new and fresh. Hats off to the chefs and the creators of these dishes. So innovative while still keeping the familiar Asian flavors! I ordered delivery, so this review was solely based off of the food.

It was busy, which I can understand, however, I was taken aback by our waitress's attitude. (According the check, her name was Angie F.) My friend asked for a bacon cheeseburger, and she responded "We don't sell that." Then my friend said, "I've come here for years & that's the only burger I eat." Then our waitress responds, "This isn't a build-your-own burger place. We have a bbq bacon cheeseburger." This passive-aggressive response is what set the tone for the rest of the night as she completely neglected our table. My friend's soda came out 5 minutes before the check, after we had already eaten our food. (We asked the busser, and who dropped off our food, and they said the waitress was supposed to get it. So we waited until she checked up on us. Which she didn't) She checked all the other tables around us, THREE TIMES, and she ignored us when we needed more water or missing items. I had to holler at her across the room to even get any more water or my friend's soda. I'm not sure why she was completely unprofessional. She doesn't have to like us, but she needed to do her job. It was very unfortunate because it was my first time there, and I wanted to love it.
