Dave never showed me a final drawing. This mistake led to the garage being 2 ft short and the entryway being unsymmetrical. He took "liberties" without consulting me or my wife, changing our plans because he thought we would like it better the other way. The only way I got workers to my house after 3 weeks of no activity was to have another company come out and quote me to fix JECs mess. I still don't have gutters on my house and now there is water damage to the basement and the area around my house is a swamp. They did not receive proper inspections from the town during construction and continued work anyways. This will lead to more work for them down the road as they will need to open up walls they already finished for a framing inspection. There have been plenty more problems. Avoid JEC at all cost.

It's just common sense professional courtesy to notify others when you can't come out, have an emergency, or need to reschedule rather than keeping one waiting without any notification. Then cancelling because someone tells you that it would have been appreciated if you notify a client ahead of time that you weren't going to show up. Though they may have been great with someone else, I will never know since that opportunity was lost with me.
