When they told me they were booking into spring of 2024, I decided to look at other companies. I finally decided that if their work was as good as their reputation, it would be worth the wait. My bathroom was finished this week and it was DEFINITELY worth the wait. From working with our designer, Dave, to the manager, Steve, with Sherri in the office, and to all the guys on our construction crew, especially Ron, Stephen, Nick, Tanner the electrician, Keil--even the Boces student Kadin--all of them were kind, professional, and patient with my questions. They were also patient with my pets who were very curious about the different sounds coming from the garage and bathroom. They worked clean every day and made sure to vacuum up all dust/debris before leaving in the afternoon. I was out of town for 3 of the weeks (it was a 6 week job) and Steve, the manager, was awesome about making a few minor changes that I wanted. They came in a bit under budget which was an absolute first experience in all my years of home renovations. I recommend them without reservation and will certainly use them when I update my kitchen. They treated us like family and it was a great experience working with them to give me the master bathroom of my dreams. I love it! Thank you, Vella team. Y'all rock!

We purchased three different types of tile for a bathroom renovation as well as other necessary elements for the project and the sale's associate was so beyong knowledgeable and helpful without missing a beat! She was so great to work with. It is so hard not to spend money in this store, I had to force myself to only look at the tile I came in for because I probably would have wanted to return everything else I'd already bought elsewhere.

I came across Steve's website, reviewed his work and his reviews, and decided to give him a try. Let me tell you...I was NOT disappointed! From our initial communication to the quote, drop-off, pick-up, and invoicing, everything went as smoothly as silk. Steve is an excellent communicator and even sent me a couple of pictures along the way so I could see the progress. He also went the extra mile and was able to tighten the table up a bit, making it considerably less wobbly. The finished table looks absolutely beautiful, and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. Without question, I would use Steve again and will happily recommend him to anyone looking for quality craftsmanship. It's not often you find someone who combines skill, attention to detail, and excellent customer service--and Steve checks all three boxes!

I rarely write reviews for services of any kind, but my experience with Walsh Custom Concepts was…read moreso exceptional that I felt compelled to share it with anyone thinking of upgrading their outdoor space. I hired Steve Walsh and his crew to build a new deck, and outdoor kitchen. There are several reasons I would hire Steve and his crew again in a heartbeat, listed here in no particular order: 1. Steve does what he says he is going to do, and does it when he says he will. From my very first contact with Steve, he has delivered on every commitment he made. Whether it was showing up to our first appointment on time, getting a quote to me, or showing up to do work. 2. Steve communicates extremely well throughout the project. From start to finish, Steve always returned my phone calls, texts and emails. He never once left me hanging when it came to any project related questions I had. 3. Steve and his crew take a team approach to projects, offering advice and listening to customer input. The design process for our project was collaborative in nature, resulting in a finished project that far exceeded our expectations. 4. The quality of work is excellent. From the materials used on the job, to the methods of construction, the entire Walsh Custom Concepts team sets a very high standard, and meets that standard without fail. The proof to me was the day I had my first gathering on the deck and all of my very fussy, do-it-yourselfer friends were blown away by the quality of the work. 5. The owner is the guy doing the work. The first day I met Steve, he showed up with his job trailer in his work clothes. I immediately knew that the guy making the promises was the guy who was going to have to deliver on them. It gives you great comfort making that sort of investment knowing that. 6. Steve and his entire crew are just plain great people. I work near home and came home for lunch every day throughout the project. Every day without fail, the crew would take the time to answer my questions and put up with me watching them work. I appreciate their patience with me throughout the project. Usually, in the best of circumstances, dealing with a contractor on a major construction job for your home can be stressful and nerve wracking. I can honestly say that the entire process of building our dream deck and outdoor kitchen was a pleasure from start to finish, largely due to the diligence, skill, and professionalism of Walsh Custom Concepts. Thinking of a deck or outdoor kitchen? Look no further!

My…read moreinitial review was that Kevin and his brother installed my beautiful shower to bath conversion, but their managers, Matt and Bryan, never followed through on getting quotes to me to install the floor, so I had a $13,000 shower with a dilapidated 1952 floor. Fortunately for Wonder Shower and Bath they have Sarah Scott who is amazing at following up with customers, and she got me the quote I waited 7 months for, and my beautiful, white floor is now installed! Sarah followed up with me today to see how the install went. I let her know the flooring that Butch and Tim installed is WONDERful, but the beading around the toilet is not great, and that my toilet now runs sometimes. Those are things I can deal with, but Sarah said she's going to have the Rochester team correct those issues this week. After going to the Yelp page I noticed an entry in 2018 by Jim S. and was AMAZED that he wrote almost exactly what I wanted to say. Other than that, I'm saying the same glowing words that Jim said. Thanks again Nick! Copied Jim's review here: I needed a small part for my Treasure Garden AKZ cantilevered umbrella. My local TG retailer was of no help. They had no interest selling me some small replacement part that would fix my broken umbrella and keep me from buying a new $$$ umbrella (those TG umbrellas are nice but very expensive.) He answered all of my questions, helped me with some DIY pdfs on how to re-string my umbrella and replace a broken cord, and role modeled what real customer service is all about. I can't recommend them highly enough! I'll definitely be back for any/all of my patio needs. Thank you Nick! Thank you Casual Furniture Solutions!
