This restaurant is located in a nice street full of shops, restaurants and bars. The restaurant has outdoor sidewalk seating and spacious interior seating with neon blue decor.. We came for lunch and saw their menu had a variety of great items from brunch items to signature entrees. We tried their bottomless mimosas and had it with orange and pineapple juices. The waiter came often and our glasses where never empty. Great! The burger was tasty and flavorful although just a tad undercooked. (Rare). The appetizers were amazing and we loved our lunch dishes. I recommend their house shrimp. It's flash fried and very flavorful. Overall, this place was great and welcoming. The service was fast and friendly. It's perfect for some appetizers and drinks. It is one of the many good casual dining spots in El Paseo. Definitely a good pick if you're with a group because the menu is very broad. I wouldn't suggest the salads but they're fine. I used to love Kitchen 86, making a regular in my Saturday Brunch rotation. However, today, after being closed the prior weekend, they stopped their bottomless mimosa offering and their best dish on the menu, BoomBoom Shrimp was a complete disaster. Not only did the reduce the amount of shrimp and accompanying greens, but the size of the shrimp was significantly smaller and the seasonings were awful. The whole dish was more than disappointing. After coming here for two years, I will not return and I wouldn't recommend it at all because they have significantly reduced the quality and significantly raised the price. read more

Great place for brunch! We sat outside and the patio coverings plus misters effectively combated the heat. Our server was friendly and happily provided a recommendation for the breakfast pizza, which my boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed. I ordered the veggie scramble which was pretty good. My first visit was July 14, 2025. Easy to find restaurant on the El Paseao in Palm Desert, California, there is street parking or you can park behind the building where parking is plentiful. The restaurant is the perfect size, not too big or too small, it's great, they have plenty of seating either at the bar or at a table / booth, and they will be expanding. Dinner prices are reasonable, I had the Penne Con Sarge Pasta and it was delicious, the cream sauce was smooth and light with exceptional flavor. Everyone at my table was very happy with delicious food and wonderful people working at the restaurant. What a great time to eat and enjoy the energy of this place. I will definitely return again and again! They have live music Thursday thru Sunday. Everyone I came in contact with was helpful, knowledgeable and personable. Our server was Natalie and she was attentive without being overly clingy, which is perfect! Everything I consumed was Delicious! read more

This was our second time to this place and they don't disappoint! I love that they offer a kids menu and outdoor seating. The kids menu isn't expansive, but suffices. There's also pizza and pasta that can be supplemented, if that doesn't work for a picky eater. Ask for crayons and a coloring sheet as well - they have them available for little guests. We didn't have reservations both times, but they were still able to accommodate us. Saturdays usually features a cover singer or DJ, which adds nice ambiance. I also love the blue light outside. Makes me feel like I'm at a lounge or someplace swanky. The food and service is always good. The servers are very knowledgeable about the menu, and always provide great recommendations. Definitely one of the places we like to visit when in the area. read more

Shared a tasty lunch with hubby and 2 dear friends visiting from Washington State. We started with a tasty bomb bomb shrimp and then had the beet salad with salmon added, BLT sandwich, pizza with pepperoni and jalepeno and cappellini. Desert, coffee and drinks were also fabulous. We decided to eat here while visiting in Palm Desert -- relatively modest expectations. WOW were we surprised. The drinks were very good and the pastas we had were excellent -- among the best ever. The service was attentive (kudos to our server, Jesus, who was outstanding), with the perfect balance of friendliness and helpfulness. While the restaurant was a bit noisy, the piano player/singer made up for it and provided a nice offset for the ambient noise. A surprisingly excellent experience. read more

I enjoyed their filet mignon, but the brussels sprouts could've used more flavor. The ambience at night is really good and it's a fun place to hang out and have drinks ! Our party waited about 20 minutes just to put our order in, no one checked on us, asked for refills, etc. Secondly, do not even get me started on how over priced the food is. This place charges $22 for a regular pizza, which is the same exact size as the $11 kids pizza! How pathetic is that? (also confirmed by waiter that they are the same size). Hi, Normally, I wouldn't go out of my way to make a Yelp review, but this place deserves it. First, we said we needed two more mins on the menu, and 11 mins later, he came back. After that, my two friends and I ordered kids pepperoni pizzas. There were no issues until later on, the manager came over and said they couldn't do this. Our server should've addressed this HIMSELF, & he should've said that WHILE we were ordering as we had already been waiting. Next, they failed to communicate that the kids and the regular pepperoni pizzas were THE SAME SIZE, yet one was 11 vs. 23 dollars. This is a scam. This was simply poor acknowledgment and service. ON TOP OF THIS, they charged a 20% automatic gratuity on top of their shitty service. I would not recommend this place at all. Especially coming from someone who has been a server for 3 years and loves to accommodate guests to whatever extent I can. This was a pretty awful experience! read more

One of the only restaurants in the valley open past 10pm.. this is definitely my go-to past 10pm or not ;-) This is the perfect place to bring a date, vibes are on point! Some of my favorite items on the menu are: Boom Boom Shrimp (crowd pleaser), Vegan Pizza, kale Cesar w/ added salmon, & roasted beet salad. You can tell they pay attention to the detail & quality of their food as the presentation is always beautiful. The bar is always a hot spot for interesting conversations with strangers.. Travis, the bartender was very helpful with helping me find a drink that fits my needs. My new go-to is the californication, soo yummy. Customer service is always at an all time high, overall review is a 10/10.. I will be coming back, see you next weekend ;-) read more
