(Qi cell phone wireless charging pad on the table + iPad). Food was excellent, but it would be helpful if the Host advised the difference of tech features when asking "booth or table?". Stopped here for dinner after the movies. Nice interior, not your average Brans! The appetizers were AWESOME. Deep fried Pickles, Deep Fried Japalio "Bottle Caps". Did not have the Potato skins but they looked great. My ribs are fall off the bone tender and very flavorfull. My wive had the Mac and Cheese with Shrimp. The Mac was great but the shrimp were a bit overcooked and rubbery. I had the Bloddy Mary bar for my coctail and that was a disapointment. Not much there and after I had my first one they did not restock anything. I guess I will stick to the original Brans Mary. Wait staff was exceptional, did not rush us but kept things moving. Tried this place out when they first opened and has a very dull experience. I chalked it up to them being a new restaurant and haven't worked out the kinks yet. I decided to give them a second chance. The second go around was not any better. Waitress was inexperienced and did a lot of hovering. Tables that came in after us (there were only 3 of us) were getting their food a lot sooner than we did. The plate she said that they were waiting on came out ice cold. Absolutely love this place! Never disappoints! Great wings! Amazing burgers done right! So much flavor! The fries are always freshly cut and crisp! Yesterday I ordered burger from vegetarian menu , keeping it in mind that it's special vegetarian menu mean I have choice of only 3 petty and I ordered black beans petty. And ask to add garlic aioli, but when I got the burger after 25 minute wait, bun was dry and there were no garlic aioli at all. Plus when i got the bill they changed $.99 extra for the petty , than why would they have vegetarian menu? Who orders burger without petty? It was waste of money. Totally not recommended. read more

Where to start... we were peddled for money by some children TWICE after finally getting our food 2 hours after we sat down. My sister's boyfriend started eating butter because he was so hungry, and we gave them the benefit of the doubt with the extra half hour on our wait time because it was a Saturday night, but we were left stranded with drinks long gone and no apology for lack of service. She only checked on us about three times and after the food finally came out she never addressed the issue. Had a wonderful birthday dinner with my husband and parents here. We were greeted and given samples of lemonade right away. We had a great waitress (Melissa) who provided thoughtful recommendations and outstanding service. My husband ordered ribs, which were served as 4 bare bones drizzled with BBQ sauce...minus meat. We told the waitress and they immediately took them back, apologized and sent the manager over as well. When they came back out (quickly), they were perfect. My husband was given a 10% military discount as well. We are on leave from being stationed in South Korea, and it's great to see support from places here in my hometown!! Wow this place is great! They have a great GF selection and my wife had the Michigan Turkey and Bacon sandwich on GF bun. It is served warm! I had the Wall street burger and I think my favorite because it is served with their signature bacon jam! This night was the Bloody Mary bar and they had a nice selection of veggies. I've enjoyed Kitchen 67 a number of times and have to say that it's one of my favorites on the East side of town. The location is a little funky.... Splitting a store front with a Verizon store... But the atmosphere is otherwise new and fresh. The staff is young and eager but/and very good. The male waiters all seem a lil too anxious and awkward but every one of the waitresses seem to be a gem. I wish the bar area was larger.... I understand it was an afterthought but would visit far more often if they'd ditch the Verizon store in favor of a higher class bar. Kudos for having local brews on tap.... That's a classy move for GR! I've tried a number of dishes.... Burgers and steaks are always spot on. Sides are always tiny but tasty. I tried the salmon one night .... Dry, small and over cooked but edible. I realize that the Brann family name is synonymous with steak (beef) but the feel of Kitchen 67 is more sheik and eclectic-metro than knock-em down steakhouse. Would enjoy a couple of killer fish dishes .... Yes, I'm a real man! I give high complements to Jr. For Kitchen 67 and for making a huge investment in a classy way. I suspect it will continue to improve and (hopefully) expand into a landmark on the East side. I'll try the salmon again one of these days..... After I've enjoyed a couple of 20oz... New Holland Dragon's Milk.. (Only restaurant I've visited in West Michigan with it on tap!) The only thing close to Kitchen 67 on the east side of town is the Twisted Rooster or hit all the gems in East GR or East Town. Great food for great price! Staff was excellent and friendly. The atmosphere was lively. The restroom could have been a little cleaner but the quality of food and service cancelled that out for me. My husband and I had an impromptu date night and walked in but there was a 45 minute wait .. but the host was so helpful he advised there were two seats that opened up at the bar. We quickly snagged them and were greeted with an upbeat friendly bartender. She was very attentive. We ordered the Margarita Guacamole to start and it was a solid choice for an appetizer. My husband ordered the Prime Rib sandwich with the Lemon Aioli and onion rings that were to die for. I had the Dirty Ranch Boneless Wings & White Cheddar Mac & Cheese all very good. We finished it off with the Brownie Martini that I would easily give up my first born to have another. Solid choice for a great dinner. read more

After a visit to Grand Rapids, MI, we decided to meet some friends here before the drive back home to Chicago. Four adults and two kids dined here during an early lunch. We started with a pretzel and a cheese flatbread. The flat bread was exactly that, a cheesie piece of flat bread. Nothing really to write home about. But the pretzel... ya, they did this one right! Served warm and soft to the touch; a great crunch to get through to the chewy dough. This is a must order if visiting here. The kids got the 6oz steaks of the kids menu and the adults had everything from a burgers, veggie burrito, and tomato soup and grilled cheese. The kids meals were probably the best cooked. Each steak was well served and cooked medium rare and medium well. Their fries are awesome and they have a tasty sweet potato mash as sides. The burrito was just a plain veggie stuffed tortilla with little taste, even with the salsa. The burgers were a huge hit. And as you look around the restaurant at other tables getting their food, you can see that 67 burgers are the main-stay order here. All in all, food was ok and so was the service. If you are in a hurry, you might want to let the server know that or pick a different place to eat... they are on the slow side a bit. And before it's mentioned, no... they were not busy at all. This is probably a solid staple in the strip mall and along the road its on, but, next time through Grand Rapids... I will most likely pass and try something else. read more

I had the big porterhouse steak with a loaded potato. It was decent, but tough enough that in order to cut it, my plate slid around the table more than normal when cutting a steak. I thought my loaded potato was part of the $22 steak dinner, but it was extra cost, which disappointed me. For $22 for a steak, usually a potato is part of the package, not an add on item. So, a tough steak and an extra charge for a loaded potato. It was decent, but not great. This kind of reinforces my belief of if you want a great steak without dropping $50 per person, cook it on your grill at home. You'll probably get a better cut of meat, too. I also thought I detected a slight freezer burn taste on this $7 carmel covered cake I got. This dessert was definitely too dry for my taste. My meal was $38 by myself with no alcohol, before tip. For that sum, I would have left a place such as the Blue Water Grill much happier. read more

My family and I were looking for the elusive Impossible Burger, so we called ahead and were told that indeed, K67 did have them ...we were excited to find them, considering the nationwide shortage. My wife and I were initially impressed with the interior of the restaurant, too, and as we ordered, confirmed that K67 did have the burgers. However, when they arrived, we each took a single bite and knew immediately we had been misled---color, texture, and flavor were clearly NOT what we had ordered...NOT Impossible Burgers. Unfortunately, they doubled down when asked again. It's hard to get over being lied to about what you order and what you get in a restaurant---it makes you wonder where else on a menu customers may be being misled. Enough that we don't plan on taking that chance again. Disappointed, to say the least. read more

Stopped by last night for the first time after reading some reviews on Yelp. Got their daily $8.99 special with a sizzzzling steak paired with Cajun fries and brown rice and a free elephant ear dessert. Steak was excellent, very similar to the taste you would get at Brann's. Cajun fries tasted more like regular fries with extra seasoning salt, no real hotness. And the rice was disgusting. Cold with a terrible after taste that I cannot find a comparison to. The dessert was a great ending. Small round elephant ear dough topped with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream with cinnamon sugar and chocolate. They have about 8 Michigan craft beers on tap, including New Holland Dragon's Milk and newer Perrin Brewing. Service was excellent in the bar area. I would have NEVER thought that I would like this place as much as I do. They are owned by the Brann's family, and I just thought I would not be a fan. It is a unique blend of casual dining and fast food without any corniness. The Bird in the hand sandwich is a must, I have never had bad service here, the bar has a ton of options and they are expeditious without rushing you. It is a good place to take my Dad because he loves tasty food, but hates when the service is slow. The ribs leave a little to be desired, but the steaks and sandwiches are quite good! read more

Went here tonight for dinner. It was only five forty-five in the evening and they were already out of prime rib on a Sunday. So I settled for a filet mignon. It was the toughest meat I think I've ever tried. the waitress was nice enough but she also had a big party at the same time as our small table. She forgot my tea entirely but did manage to charge me for it. Then, I found out they did not have military discount, which isn't a deal-breaker but it is nice when people offer it. The manager seemed very nice and was responsive on checking on our table. Also the pretzel with beer cheese was good and my husband's Burger was good. I've been here twice and the first time I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I had the Bird in Hand sandwich and it was great, great service, great atmosphere. We decided to go back again but unfortunately did not have a good experience. First of all the service was not great, I felt like the first time we ate here we were served bread before our meal and this time we were not offered any bread. Our waiter was also very slow on refills and it was a long wait to get our food, for the appetizer, entrees, and desserts. Lastly, I could tell something was off about the sandwich this time but decided not to say anything. Then a few hours after leaving, I started throwing up horribly. Just pure chicken, throwing up for about 2 hours. Probably will not come back and eat here again. :( read more

Coming from someone who's worked on and off in the industry for almost 10 years, this place was on point! Reading some of the reviews, it sounds like maybe some of the previous customers expect too much from a sandwich/steakhouse place. If I want a burger, I want to get in, get a couple drinks, and get out. I don't need to be waited on hand and foot, and being wildly hungover after reuniting on a night out with a few Grand Valley friends, it was appreciated that the staff didn't hover over us like some other places in the city. The service was quick and friendly. I came in here in reference to a friend who lives here now, sat at the bar and told the bartender I wanted a bacon cheeseburger with an egg, to which he referenced me to the Hangover Burger, which was great. The fries were crispy and hot, which is great considering most the restaurants in this city will fry them up, leave them sitting in the bin and have them prebatched and ready. The burger also came an actual medium rare, so props to the kitchen. Good work. The drinks were great and stiff. I don't remember his name, but it's rare to find a bartender in Grand Rapids who can actually make a good Manhattan without having to look up a recipe on his/her phone or wing it. Like the atmosphere my only knock is the attention to detail in the CLEAN dept. tables not cleaned well switched once then still a little dirty. iPad and other tech on tables kewl but wouldn't touch it as it is so nasty. My friends told me that I had to try this place called Kitchen 67 on the beltline. So I brought my family in there to eat and it was one of the greatest experiences I have had at a restaurant in a very long time. When I arrived the host was very pleasant and noticed that I had a child and sat us in a booth with an Ipad, which my son immediately went right to. The menu was full of items that looked so tasty so I really didn't know what to choose. I ordered the California Burrito my wife ordered the pan seared tilapia and my son ordered the Carnita and we ordered a Buffalo Chicken Flatbread as an appetizer. I also loved that they served many many Michigan alcohols there. As we waited for the appetizer to come out the server pointed out all the extras this place had like the amazing ceiling, the charging pucks at the booths, the ipads, the iTunes dj that my son could go up and pick out his own music. When our appetizers and food arrived it was perfect. The Buffalo Flatbread was an amazing starter and the meals had so much flavor to them I could taste every item that was used to make the meal. I of course had to taste my wifes and childs food and I was as amazed to find that their meals were just as flavorful as mine. I really have found a new place to dine at. The experience was more than I expected and the chef that visited our table was an extra touch just to make sure everything was perfect for us. read more

This place came highly recommended by a family friend. It did not disappoint. Our party of 4 was quickly seated. The waitstaff was highly attentive & best of all we all loved our food. My husband tried the wings with the Siracha & Frank's hot sauce. They were exactly what he was hoping for. Spicy enough to give him a perspiring brow, but still able to taste the food. The Sizzle Bowl was delicious. My daughter-in-law loves the burger with the Cherry chutney. My husband & son each had steaks & they were cooked beautifully. The service was great and the food was delicious but I was absolutely shocked when I received my bill and saw that the signature lemonade I had drunk was 10 dollars!
