I really like this place! I've been here 4 or 5 times now & almost always get the tuna rice paper roll. It's such a delicious, fresh, and healthy option that I find it hard to order anything else. They also serve you miso soup before they bring your food out. A couple other things I've tried and enjoyed are the takoyaki and the special eel roll. Keep in mind that all of the special sushi rolls are huge. One is probably enough unless you're super hungry! I've also had the combination sushi bowl (poke bowl). They keep sauce on the table for it. I thought it was decent, but I do prefer to get poke at places that let you build your own and pick the ingredients and sauces you want. The restaurant itself is cute, the service has always been awesome, and the food is presented nicely. Definitely worth checking out! read more

This meal went above and beyond my expectations. It was excellent! I found 121 on Yelp on a search of a decent sushi spot where I can eat and study. It was close to home and open late enough. Surprisingly, on my first visit- I didn't get the sushi. But, no worries- I'll be back to try it soon. I was greeted upon entering and the staff were very friendly. The atmosphere of the restaurant itself was very relaxed. It had a very comfortable look, as it is covered in warm browns from the many wood accents displayed. I seated myself and my server, Grace, immediately offered to get me a drink. She was awesome, by the way. She recommended great dishes and explained other items on the menu. I checked in and she helped me make use of the wonderful dumpling coupon they offer here on Yelp. I ordered the Bulgogi Hot Bowl, and was given my preferred drink and a bowl of complimentary miso- and everything came out QUICKLY. I am happy to report that: the water didn't taste like tap (that's a first), the miso soup was real (you'd be surprised by what I've tasted in the past...), everything came out piping hot, the food display was gorgeous. I was given some additional sides to add to my bowl- and offered refills on that. The dumpling was cooked perfectly- nothing to hard, soft or soggy (lol). The food was more than I could eat on my own, if I'm honest. The bowl was more rice than I expected, but this was far from an issue for me. If you want more meat in your dish o would suggest something else. I would also recommend eating slowly, as I did find one super tiny bone in my bowl. But, again- not a problem. When I checked in, Yelp showed me I had two options for a free appetizer, I went for the Takoyaki, even when I'm not the biggest octupus fan, and I really liked it. Then we ordered a salmon spring roll (I thought it was smaller) and again delicious, this one is very light and low in carbs. Finally I had my Tuna Poke and my other half ordered a delicious roll: Extreme Beauty! The service was lighting fast, and super friendly. Here's what I ate: * Tako wasabi * Tuna carpaccio * Korean grilled bulgogi salad * Crunch Korean fried chicken * Garlic soy chicken Everything was so delicious, but my favorite has to be the crunch Korean fried chicken. Loved the crispiness, the pickled onions and the scallions. All the flavors just worked so well with each other. If I wasn't so far, I would dine in here more often or do take out. I think I'm going to have to make an exception sometime soon and drive myself out there for some more delicious food. They have so much on their menu that I need to try. Just went here for the first time with a friend and we had the sweetest waiter ever. The food was amazing of course, (highly recommend the yummy yummy roll) but the service was outstanding. When we were waiting for our food he brought us our miso soup and accidentally spilled one (not anywhere near us really, didn't get on us at all) and he felt so bad that he gave us complimentary lemonades, complimentary dumplings, an extra chair to put our bags on so they weren't near the spilled soup, checked on us and made sure we were good the whole time and was just an absolute angel. I feel so bad because I didn't get his name but he gave a wonderful first impression of this place and I will recommend it to everyone I know! Thanks for having such a great staff! I ordered online for take-out yesterday. Ordered the takoyaki and salmon carpaccio. Both were GREAT! The carpaccio came with two sauces. I think they were vinegar and ponzu sauce or maybe soy sauce? I poured both over the salmon+avocado, and it tasted excellent. It was slightly tangy, salty and sweet. The takoyaki was great as well! There were good large pieces of octopus in it, and it came with 5 (or 6?) in an order. The only thing I wish it had was some japanese mayo on top but definitely still good without it! My order online quoted 30 mins for pick up, but it was ready way before then since there were no customers there at the time. It probably took about 15 mins to prepare.
