The RV sites are fine. Lots of rock which keeps the dirt down. Check-in was easy you don't have to make reservations in the summer. No Internet available at your site. I don't think $79 is cheap for one night. Don't go in the bathrooms. read more

It's a good place to spend one night just off the freeway. The price is right(cheap). Hookups worked well and checking is almost too fast haha. The guy in the office gave no map and said,"Find your spot on the board". That was all the communication we received. Great pull thru spot and accommodations our large 40ft long fifth wheel easily. We rate these parks how it worked for us and not what others have necessarily commented on. Thus, we didn't use the dog park, the laundry or the restrooms. We were able to pull off Hwy 101 with a very short distance. Love's Travel stop was convenient for fuel and all we had to do was drive in an easy pull-thru site. We had asked for a spot the day before and we were accommodated at the Resort Park Rate. The gentleman in the office was pleasant and efficient. However, the site we were given still had the guest from the night before sitting in it. No problem though as we were given another site. Easy in and easy out with lots of places to eat around the park. The only negatives are there are lots of permanent residents in the park so not everyone is a traveler. However, pull-thru sites seemed to be just those going thru Patterson. We would definitely use this park again if traveling thru. read more

The park itself is within sight of I-5 and beautiful views of the hills. It's quiet. The pads are gravel with a paved car spot, and our hookups all work well. There is a dog park, small playground and RV storage with open access. They offer several discount options and monthly rates. It's an easy for us (1 hour) walk to downtown. There's also the warehouse area next to the park that may be walked. There are grocery, restaurants, gas/diesel, and propane here. My only negative is the restrooms through the park are old and NOT cleaned well; the restrooms in the main building are nice but open only 9 to 6. Kit Fox RV Park has so much potential. It is conveniently located off Interstate 5 in central California and is ideal to break up long trips. There are plenty of pull through sites with full hook-ups, laundry, showers and plenty of light at night. The hours of operation at Kit Fox are 9 am to 6 pm seven days a week. Check in time is 1 pm. We arrived at noon luckily we knew our site number as the office was closed. We pulled in to our site and planned on taking showers and doing laundry. The restrooms, showers and laundry are all locked and we didn't have the combination and could not get any information as the office was closed. We repeatedly checked back to see if the office was open and called every number on the information board until 6 pm with no answer. At around 7 pm I received a call to come to the office and check in. I went to check in and was then provided with the combination for the facilities. I explained that I was there for only one night and wished to shower and do laundry and get to sleep early. She told me that visitors are required to be self-contained. This was not mentioned on any of the RV park literature. She refused to provide us with any compensation. The bathrooms overall were in poor condition. They, were dirty, have little ventilation and empty soap dispenser. We didn't do laundry and opted for sleep instead. The park is quiet but traffic on Rogers Road and the Interstate will keep light sleepers awake all night. This place could great if the staff cared. read more

We stayed here with reservations both on the way to and from our destination. Both times our space was occupied by someone hoping to score free camping for the night. No one in office to monitor who comes and goes, which I think is a huge safety issue. Do not recommend. Bathroom is unavailable unless you have a code from the office, which is not usually attended. Wi-Fi unavailable without code. We side says Direct Tv, but not available. If you're a freeloader, then this is the place for you. read more

The park is definitely headed in a downward trajectory. Checked in 4-29-19 Don't know what's going on but we have stopped here 7 or 8 times over the past 4 years. We called to make a reservation and no one returned our call, we arrived and received an envelope to deposit the camping fee (no credit cards) Oh, no internet password until three hours after we requested one. So not only is the customer service nonexistent, but the shower area has been taken over by homeless people. So not only did we have to tolerate the filthy state they left the bathrooms, we had to awaken to fights at 0600 complete with a barrage of F-Bombs. Manager stated that he would refund our money, but he has decided that the poor customer service will continue. I've sent 2 emails and made three phone calls and the manager just makes up lame excuses, promising to send the refund but never follows through. Now that it is the 25th of May, I Assume that my refund "Is In The Mail" or Lost In the Streets Of Boston. But guaranty I'll never return. read more

What a great find! Kit Fox is just off the freeway, but also within a quick walking distance to all sorts of fast food and sit-down restaurants. Plus good shopping. Staff were extremely helpful. I called in the morning and asked to make a reservation. He asked if I wanted a pull-through or back-in. I said back-in was fine. He said I didn't have to make a reservation (would have charged 3% with a credit card--and those pennies do add up!), but guaranteed we would have a spot. We got there at about 5:45 (office closes at 6) and he said he had a pull-through available, but recommended we drive down there to make sure we fit. We fit perfectly. The actual park is pretty bare bones, but if you just want good hook-ups before you take off the next morning and don't want to pull out the BBQ (no picnic tables that I noticed), this is the perfect spot. A great place to stop on a long road trip. Spaces were large and easily accessible. Particularly liked the pull through option especially as we arrived after dark. The grounds were clean and well maintained. You could hear the freeway off in the distance but not when you are in the trailer. I left a message to make a reservation and received a call back a few hours later. The gentleman that helped me was very nice and helpful. The price for a pull through spot with full hookups was remarkably reasonable!!!! We arrived after hours so the office was closed but the club house doors were open, upon entering I found our assigned spot identified on a dry erase board with check-in instructions nearby. We had the option to come back to pay in the morning or fill out a check-in form and give my CC info that they would shred after processing (you drop it through a slot in the office door so it's secure). Our assigned spot was perfect for what we needed, it wasn't anything fancy but we were just trying to get some sleep before heading further north. We used the facilities the next morning and they were well maintained. My husband used the satellite bath/shower and said it was fine (I didn't ask for much detail other than if it was okay). On the advice of the gentleman that works there I choose to use the main clubhouse shower, it was very well maintained and more than met all my needs. We were so satisfied with our first visit that we decided to stay there again on our way back home. I would definitely recommend this RV Resort for an overnight stay (or more if you have the need). read more

Stayed here over 3 years ago and it was a pretty nice place. Staying here now for a short job in the area and they now make all of their long term residents stay on one side of the park. This area is completely crowded and almost zero space to park a vehicle because the trailers are so close to each other. There is almost NOBODY on the other side of the park so I'm not sure why they do this now. There seem to be no rules around here, as people have anything and everything they want in their yard. You have to watch your step when walking through the grass because people don't pick up their dog poop. The bathrooms are absolutely terrible!! I'm not sure if anybody even cleans them? There is also a teenager staying next to us that smokes weed in the bathroom, so any time I go to shower, it smells like weed. Just what I want after a long day of work... a filthy, stinky bathroom. The spot we are staying in looks like the people before had a cat and just put all of the dirty litter under the trailer. I am completely disappointed in the downward spiral this place is going into. I cannot wait to move out of here. read more

There were lots of older trailers, parked that appeared to be full timers. However well kept. But the Park was very clean. Checked ourselves in. As instructed by their office. As it was Xmas day. The clubhouse was open . With nice big screen tv on. Spotlessly clean . With a nice kitchen . Very nice laundry area.. in club house . The camping spots weren't real big . But were nice . Didn't use shower area. The bathrooms in the area we stayed were clean. Quiet at night. Within walking distance to restaurants. Office staff were very nice. Stayed one night, in a 40ft motorhome, Saturday July 23rd, 2017. Showed up at 9pm and then left at noon. We noticed ants (inside!) when we first woke up at 8am; my wife sprayed raid outside for 20 minutes trying to halt their effort. Apparently to no avail. It is 8 pm on Sunday (8 hours down the road) and we are still fighting ants. Hundred and hundreds of ants. Just wandering the floors and walls. We were only there for 15 hours and we have an ant infestation to deal with. We told the front desk lady and she said she has heard of that recently. What!?! Why not warn/inform us and let us make the decision. No discount, refund or even apology. They apparently only care about the easy money and not about their customers returning. I won't be recommending this place to anyone. read more

Stayed for 5 days in a pull thru site. WiFi was absolutely terrible. I was able to get online the first day I was there but after that nothing. Showers were great. This was the best shower I've had since I've been in California. Didn't have to pay with quarters or keep hitting a button for the water. Laundry was good and definitely inexpensive. Ok park. Sites are on top of each other. The previous person in our site had a big dog and didn't clean up after it. We had to borrow a shovel from another person and try to clean up after getting dog poop all over inside our RV. Evidently no one checks the sites when people leave. It was pretty nasty. The office kept my husbands debit card, and they don't open until 9 am. There goes our early start!! I think we will just cancel the card, more inconvenience. A woman across from our site seemed to think we hit her 5th wheel hitch and was having a melt down. Never happened, she just wanted our insurance information.. Cute trick. The Mexican restaurant nearby is very good, slow service but excellent food. We have relatives nearby and this is really the only place to stay if you want services. Very close and narrow spaces. We checked in early to do our laundry and the manager said "I'll beat you to it." He called his girlfriend and she monopolized the 3 washers and 2 dryers for the whole afternoon until early evening. Manager was unprofessional and inconsiderate. read more

Stopped here on our way north and enjoyed our stay very much. The roads are paved; lots are level gravel. The pull-thru sites are narrower than the back-in sites so it can get a bit crowded at times. Restrooms are clean with a sink, loo, and shower in each one. There are several restaurants within walking distance and the town of Patterson is but a couple of miles away. Very nice town, indeed.
