Such a great spot to relax. Green grass, pull through spaces available and easy access to amenities. Very nice rv park. Highly recommended

Kit Fox RV Park has so much potential. It is conveniently located off Interstate 5 in central California and is ideal to break up long trips. There are plenty of pull through sites with full hook-ups, laundry, showers and plenty of light at night. The hours of operation at Kit Fox are 9 am to 6 pm seven days a week. Check in time is 1 pm. We arrived at noon luckily we knew our site number as the office was closed. We pulled in to our site and planned on taking showers and doing laundry. The restrooms, showers and laundry are all locked and we didn't have the combination and could not get any information as the office was closed. We repeatedly checked back to see if the office was open and called every number on the information board until 6 pm with no answer. At around 7 pm I received a call to come to the office and check in. I went to check in and was then provided with the combination for the facilities. I explained that I was there for only one night and wished to shower and do laundry and get to sleep early. She told me that visitors are required to be self-contained. This was not mentioned on any of the RV park literature. She refused to provide us with any compensation. The bathrooms overall were in poor condition. They, were dirty, have little ventilation and empty soap dispenser. We didn't do laundry and opted for sleep instead. The park is quiet but traffic on Rogers Road and the Interstate will keep light sleepers awake all night. This place could great if the staff cared.

Perfect place for a good nights sleep. Lots of grass for our two little dogs. We could not hear any freeway sound, even though we are close to the 5. Restrooms could have been a little cleaner. We will definitely be back.

Large pull through sites with hookups make a one night stay convenient.

Stopped here for a night on our way from Phoenix, AZ to the Redwoods. Nice pull through sites so that we didn't have to unhook for the night. Clean, flat, quiet. Several fast food places next door for easy walking. Would definitely stay here again. Kids were disappointed about no pool-that's the missing star.

In bed, ready for lights out!

Great place for the night. Next time maybe we can see some of the area. We will try to stop here on our way back to the NW

Awesome sauce! That perfectly describes this well-maintained RV park! We'll definitely be returning next time we travel up the 5.

The other levels, journey, destination and resort are increasingly fancy, but generally have some kind of market, a cafe or restaurant, pools, jacuzzis and the like - more so at the higher levels. Well, this one was a fraction of the size of most of those. it was very well kept, nice level paved sites, excellent bathrooms - two full bathrooms, where you get your own toilet, sink and shower and door It's essentially located right in the harbor, there's a gate that will get you to the docks. Including all the whale watching boats . A bunch of sea lions were my neighbors on a rock on the other side of the fence. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance as well, so that makes up for not having one on site

The spots are very close to each other, but this is a small campground, maybe 50 spots. The KOA person guided us into our spot, made it easy because if it was just me and the wife... well you know! Moss landing is an old fishing town, very small, abut very historical and interesting to walk around. The ocean beach is walking distance from the campground. I will return to this place, very safe and very secluded. Nice clean laundry room, landscaping is beautiful, location is in a very secluded area in the farming community. Very tight spots, you are really close to your neighbor. But that's OK, this is a place you stay at, and go out during the day to see the sites around the area. There is no stores or restaurants in the area. Only one deli (which is really good but only open to 3pm). So you will need to have food and supply with you.

The only not so great part was unsupervised teens in the water park but you could see the lifeguards actively dealing with it so it was more of a parenting issue. I would highly recommend the paved rv/trailer sites if it's in your budget.
