The facilities were all very well kept, grounds keeping does an excellent job as well as housekeeping! Jennifer and Amanda in the front office are awesome! My family and I were last week we booked back in March and Amanda was so helpful in getting us the cabin we wanted after seeing it wasn't available and had a fantastic time! It was the first time doing something like that we our toddler and she had a BLAST! We stayed in cabin 266 (highly recommended! Everything was a walk away) and enjoyed our hot tub every evening! We went Wednesday-Friday (&& during non peak season, highly recommended looking up what is open the days you are there so you won't be as surprised as we were) HOWEVER Jennifer was so amazing the day of check in when we called to see if we could have an early check in, she took amazing care of us, was so accommodating && even more awesome in Person! Jellystone Park Resort in Lodi, CA, has some issues for RVs. The signage is poor, and the campground entrance is hard to find. This place isn't worth their prices! Paved sites are extra, and the narrow gravel and dirt areas make leveling difficult. We booked "premium RV/tent" the back-in sites are tight, and accessing the fire pit is challenging due to the presence of tents and close neighboring RVs. The picnic tables are rotting and need replacement. Maintenance workers mow the weeds and weed whack the sites at 8 am, which is disruptive given the gravel and dirt conditions. Happy Camper Road near the sites is in poor condition and needs repaving. This weekend, a large block party with loud music, peeps smoking weed, and many people caused overcrowding and conflicts with neighbors close space. The arcade was closed, the water park is overcrowded, and there's no lifeguard on duty. Despite these issues, the grandkids had a blast, and there's a play area, water park, and miniature golf course for entertainment. read more

This place is not bad for what it is...its lightweight camping thats good for families and perfect for first timer outdoors experiencers(like for those who are not adventurous but qho wanna try and see how it works for them. Lol) First real tip for any beginner campers or cabiners: If you think you will need it or there is something from home that helps you stay comfortable away from home...Pack It and BRING IT! Im talking favorite meal(s), shampoo/conditioner, that pillow, that blanket, extra chairs, BT speaker, floatie device, crocpot, whatever...pack it in the trunk, if u use it cool, if not, its there just in case this may take the 'camping' aspect away but like i said, this place is for beginers or for folks who dont wanna rought it. I mean, its a good place to get away tho for families. Its a good chance to get away from the device life and that office you are stuck in and able to reconnect with how things used to be. Theres a place to fish, go boating, walk around...bring a bicycle and roam around a bit...change the scene of your everyday. Theres a restaurant on site if you wanna pay for a sit down meal. Their little uce cream parlor is good for kids on that hot day. The pool is a great hangout for the whole family and the waterpark is a good add on if you are there for the weekend I recommend you rent the golf cart so you dont have to walk from place to place the whole stay. If needed...theres an exit 10 mins away off the freeway at stockton where theres a whole shopping and dining plaza. Overall thought. I liked this place and the family had a good staycation here. We came here recently for a 3-day, 2 night stay during spring break during the week so the water park was closed, but we still had a great time. There weren't a lot of people so that was nice. Our cozy cottage had a kitchen, which I paid extra to have so that things would be easier. I like that it's safe for kids to play outside and roam about. We made the best of it even though the water park was closed. Cabin camping is the way to go for me! We still get the experience without the griminess. lol. The kids spent most of the time in the pool so that worked out. I liked that there is a food truck by the pool since kids like to stay there all day. Overall, we had a great time and would come back again. It's a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. The family atmosphere made it worth the trip. read more

Fix the soda machines every soda machine is broken. Every machine in laundry room one posted to the office is broken. Also the machine in room three near the waterpark. We're also broken. The prices are outrageous. They simply compare their prices to Disney World and other top-of-the-line resorts, which is simply Ludacris. There's no way that jelly stone part should be charging those kind of prices with regular families going camping and you don't even get Wi-Fi in the cabin. There is no Wi-Fi that is a big issue. Let's touch on the Wi-Fi because the park is deep inside of a mountain of some sort there is no reception managers, owners, etc. refused to put in a tower that would help reception for all the customers that's paying for this high price vacation So if you're staying here, keep in mind there is no Wi-Fi. Everything is extremely expensive when you comes to purchasing normal necessities for you and your family bathrooms are disgusting beyond filthy. Other than that, I had a good time the staff is wonderful. Jennifer is wonderful. Everything in my cabin was extremely clean. I love all the people that worked there. They were very nice courteous. Just because it's name resort does not mean you can overprice the customers just because I enjoy the waterpark. I enjoyed the Jacuzzi very clean Brand New model. As I said the bathrooms, the public bathrooms are disgusting. I'm talking old mole. Nothing that you can clean you have to rebuild. They're very old. It seems that the structure is very very old. No update yet. We're being charged asking consumers the highest price a pack of battery four pack of energizer cost $15. That is insane one to 2899 That's insane. Only thing that's new in this establishment I would say is the store. Despite does have potential but when I if I ever go again, I will remember to go shopping first and I still will have to locate a washer that actually works overall I'm gonna give it a one and that's solely because the staff the staff is so excellent so nice helpful they make up for 99% of the part shout out to the staff because of them they have repeating customer other than that the reception there is so bad if you wanted to vacation there and get some business done impossible read more

I'v been staying here at the first rv campground during the time my house is getting work done. It wasn't a vacation type stay. But, regardless, they do not take care of the grounds during the winter. There are guys driving around doing this and that, so I asked one if they would be doing any cleanup. He said they are short staffed. So I called Jennifer, who said she oversees the ground maintenance staff, and I asked her about the grounds and she said she would get on it asap. Next thing you know I have 5 guys blowing leaves, weed whacking the grass at my trailer, sucking up the leaves by a huge machine, all told they were outside my and neighbors trailers for FOUR HOURS. I'm not sure if that was on purpose to shut me up or what. But, it wasn't pleasant. read more

Totally not what we expected - never again. We stayed at Jellystone Tower Park for three nights, and honestly... it was rough. We were hoping for a nice camping experience, but it ended up being a huge disappointment. The only thing that made the stay slightly bearable was a really sweet lady named Niki at the front desk -- thank you, Niki! But seriously, that's where the good stuff ends. I don't know what I had in mind, but I definitely imagined a more green, grassy campground. What we got was rocks. Like actual gravel everywhere. We set up our tents on top of it, and I swear there were bigger rocks underneath -- we struggled so much trying to get the stakes in, and in some spots we just gave up. The bottom of our tents got ruined from all that. The electric and water hookup was also just... strange and honestly felt unsafe. It was one slim post, with the outlets and breakers on the back at the top, and a water faucet on the front, down low. Water was dripping constantly and the ground was wet. Water and electricity were way too close together. I've been told this kind of setup might even violate basic outdoor safety standards. Especially with kids running around, it made us really uncomfortable. And again -- this setup might work for RVs, but if you're camping in a tent, good luck. There's nowhere to wash dishes, no dedicated sink or cleaning area. If you don't have a trailer or a rig, you're basically left to figure it out on your own. The bathrooms were awful. I've never seen showers this gross. Everything felt dirty -- not just used, but like it hadn't been properly cleaned in ages. We only saw someone clean once in three days. The shower curtains had moldy pink stains, and there were just random items left stuck to the walls that no one ever removed. The accessible shower was unlocked, but the water didn't even work, so it was useless. And the showers were push-button, with water running for maybe 30 seconds before you had to press again -- and yes, it's as annoying as it sounds in a dirty space. The pool? So cloudy we didn't even touch it. I've never seen water that murky in a public pool. My 7-year-old daughter and her friend swam in it, but honestly, we were nervous the entire time. Still hoping nobody gets sick. Trash pickup is supposed to happen at 8 AM and 8 PM -- that's what the rules said. But no one came. We left our trash out at 7 PM and it was still there the next morning. A random staff member picked it up around 9:30 AM like it was a lucky accident. If an animal had gotten to it overnight, it would've been a total mess. We came hoping for a fun trip in nature with our kids, but it ended up being stressful, dirty, and just honestly not worth the trouble. If you're tent camping -- or have young kids -- I seriously recommend looking elsewhere. read more

This was our third year in a row staying at Yogi Bear with a big group for a family birthday and get together. After this stay, we will be looking for a new place to stay. Our RV spot was absolutely filthy including charcoal, suntan lotion all over our cement, trash in the grass and a stained up fire pit. We chose an end spot which was one of the most if not the most expensive spots in the park. No one came in next to us the whole time, so everyone including park staff used the spot as their high speed cut through. I placed multiple phone calls to the office, which were never returned. I finally went up to the office and Jennifer *manager* was great! She got cones put up for us, although temporary it was a nice fix and she was very helpful! Honestly the only positive interaction I had with any staff members at the park. The waterpark is RUN down!! Tons of water guns were not working, the equipment is worn and needs attention. The pool has always been murky, I don't know if they don't have enough filters or what but it's cloudy within a few hours of opening yuck! There was a youth group that came in a day or two after us. These kids were allowed to be on their own, and run around the park with no regard to vehicles, golf carts or other campers. They were rude, used foul language, broke all kinds of rules at the pool....but no one in the park seemed to even care. The lack of any kind of security presence here is glaringly obvious and creating a free for all environment for unsupervised children and adults that think the park is playing baby sitter for their kids. The final straw was the last night, we had just finished dinner at the park *which was nice and I will write a separate review for them* but there were two younger women harassing the cashier at the delta market. They were recording her, and requesting a refund despite a huge sign stating no refunds on the cash register. She was literally in tears, and being accosted and the other male employee there was just standing there. I told her, along with other store patrons that she needed to call security! We had to leave and wave down the security guard for an action to take place. I really felt bad for her as the two girls and then the Mom who joined in were being so rude and disrespectful to her. I know that as a park you cannot control who comes in to the campground, but you can make a better effort enforcing and educating guests on the rules! I've stayed in 100 campgrounds, maybe more and the lack of any formal regulatory system here given the size of the park is shocking! I'm surprised there's not more issues with fighting, stealing, property damage and accidents. Sorry to say, we won't be back! read more

I'm attaching here my receipt with my name which matches my name here on Yelp. Terrible experience. You arrive to the worst customer service you can imagine. I paid $1000 for two days and they receive you like you're the biggest burden. The TV doesn't work. When I called the front desk to check, they just said too many people were probably trying to use the wifi and that's why.. ok, if you're hosting this many people, then why don't you offer better wifi? Then on the first night, I had someone knocking at my cabin past 11pm. As a woman alone with two girls, terrifying. Second night, I get notified by my iPhone that an item is tracking my location. See the picture. Also terrifying. And then lastly, on the last day the girls were looking forward to pancakes for breakfast but the stove doesn't work. Honestly, not a surprise but disappointing. When we arrived the cabin was so dirty and after an hour my daughter's feet were completely black. We found a water bottle and soap under the bed from prior guests. Honestly for the amount of money I just spent on this, I'm very disappointed. read more

i came here for a weekend camping trip with twelve others. We camped out in tents four to be exact. The campsites come with a fire pit and picnic table. The campsites have electric boxes that you can charge your phone and there are water facets that you can use to wash your dishes. There are bathrooms, showers and laundry facilities. Water park/ pool, playground and trampoline among other activities. I enjoyed my trip, thinking about coming back with my nephew and sister. The one thing that I did not like was the campsite had gravel and pavement was uneven. The gravel was hard to walk on when I was in my tent and sleeping as well as getting up. read more

UPDATE: We returned for our annual summer vacation. We stayed for 7 nights in our travel trailer. There has been substantial improvements to the facility. It's MUCH cleaner!! The staff was working around the clock keeping the grounds clean. The waterpark was very clean. Garbage was emptied and not overflowing. The staff was also super nice and friendly. The churros and pretzels were SO GOOD - and the adult drinks at the water park were fantastic and fair priced! Thank you for continuing to grow and improve. Our family of five stayed in a Cozy Cottage. Highlights: - clean cottage interior but expect a little dust and spiderwebs of course! - new air conditioning wall machine and working ceiling fan - newer pavement with fire ring. Older bench. Lots of shading from a tree. - one extra plastic trash bag provided for bathroom and kitchen. -lots of electrical outlets -super fast facilities servicing. Our cabin had a clogged shower tub and toilet and it was serviced within an hour. - beds were pretty soft and comfortable - the market has all basic necessities and not overly expensive (similar to San Francisco prices!) - the dish sponge and dish soap was nice What to bring for the cottage interior addition to your usual items: - hand towels - sanitizing wipes - drinking water - table cloths - Tupperware and ziplock bags - Pillow, bed sheets Be prepared to do a lot of walking unless you rent one of those golf carts! Attractions and Activities: Although it's called Jellystone Park, it's only sprinkled with Jellystone Park and Yogi bear themes. The mini golf is right by the entrance to the park and self serviced. You may miss it but it's parallel to the check in office. It feels like a brand new mini golf area with beautiful water fountains and new greens. They provide the balls and golf clubs for free. We had a really enjoyable last minute trip here during spring break - came with little / no expectations and was pleasantly surprised. It's basically glamping with kids activities. The best part is kids have freedom to scooter & bike in a confined community where parents are nearby and can relax without monitoring 24/7. It's like a taste of childhood in the 80s/90s. Our kids favorites were gem mining, jumping pillow, riding golf cart, and campfire with s'mores in front of our cabin every night. I'm sure they would have had even more fun if it wasn't raining on our last day when we were going to waterpark but guess we got to save something for next time! Also, want to give props to the restaurant and staff. We had good interactions with everyone who worked there - you get the sense they care and want people to have a good time. And while there were add on costs for gem mining, golf cart etc I never felt anything was unreasonable. Everything we paid for was good value including the restaurant food which was well portioned and used quality ingredients. The only thing I felt could be easier / better is including bedding/linens and shampoo/conditioner in the cost. They offer linens as an add-on per bed but it adds up so we brought our own, which took up car space and was a hassle to setup & take down. I think we'd go the sleeping bag route if we were to do it again and embrace it as a camping experience with personal kitchen + toilet. We stayed 2 nights and felt that was plenty for enjoying the space and not being bored. We are a full-time RV family who stayed here for over a year for work, so we experienced every season -- busy summer months and quiet winter alike. First, the highlight of this park is Jennifer. She was incredibly helpful and always willing to handle issues or escalate them when needed. One of the maintenance employees (I believe his name was Junior) was also consistently kind and helpful, especially with packages or site concerns. The staff we interacted with worked hard and genuinely cared. Pros: Summer is fantastic here. Yes, it's busy and loud -- but that's expected at a large, family-focused park. The pools, water playground, glow foam parties, and other activities make it a fun destination. October/Halloween season was especially memorable. We spent two Octobers here and loved the golf cart parades, decorated sites, and weekly trick-or-treating. Our kids had an absolute blast. There are many amenities when open and functioning: playground, jumping pillow, pools, putt-putt golf, etc. The park also has beautiful areas to walk, bike, or decompress, especially along the water during the weekdays. The ice cream shop is simple but cute and a nice addition. For the most part, we felt safe. We had one minor late-night incident with teenagers taking a few small items, but security responded immediately. Other than occasional speeding or inattentive parenting (which isn't the park's fault), we didn't experience major issues. Cons: Understaffing seems to be a major challenge. The employees worked hard, but there simply weren't enough of them. We noticed inconsistent trash pickup, tree trimming delays, and mowing issues at times. This feels more like a corporate-level issue than a staff problem. There were also a large number of stray cats throughout our stay. Multiple litters were born, and when trash wasn't promptly collected, it would get torn open. We experienced some damage to outdoor items from scratching. For the price -- especially short-term stays or cabins -- the amenities felt outdated. Laundry machines were broken for long stretches, some facilities still use outdated quarter machines, and the shower facilities were extremely disappointing. As a family of five, we tried using them but ultimately stuck to our RV. The condition of some facilities does not match the promotional photos online. Some attractions were down for extended periods. The jumping pillow was closed for about 4-5 months over fall/winter. We were told in early 2025 an arcade would be added by summer, but when we left in January 2026, construction was just beginning. That was disappointing for our kids. Mail and package pickup for full-timers was also cumbersome. Staff were always kind, but the process felt inefficient for both guests and employees. Overall: We wouldn't completely rule this place out, and it was bittersweet to leave. However, it does need significant updates -- particularly bathrooms/showers, laundry facilities, finishing promised projects like the arcade, improving mail systems, addressing the stray cat issue, and hiring more staff. The employees are hardworking and dedicated, but the park is large and clearly stretched thin. With proper investment and staffing, this park has the potential to be excellent year-round. read more

We had a 3 day stay for Labor Day weekend in the cabins. we had 4 other families stay as well (3 families stayed in cabins and 1 stayed in RV). We found out this was a weekend that's considered off-peak season. Which means no lazy river and the times for water park were reduced. Mind you it was 100 degrees this weekend. To open the water tower at 12 when the temperature is already in the 90s was disappointing. The employee told us they follow the same cookie cutter approach that east coast does. The cabins are absolutely filthy just like the others mentioned in the reviews. Our cabin had an ac that broke and was leaking at night all over the couch. We also had wasps going into the roof. It cost way too much for the amenities you get. Their website makes things look bigger than they actually are. There were some positives, they were lenient when it comes to noise, we were up talking by the fire and didn't hear any complaints. Everyone was friendly and their maintenance team responded to our cabin issues in a timely manner read more

What an amazing stay!! to get started, jen, in the office made check in so easy, and gave us some really cool recommendations of things to occupy the kids, as we were there far before check in.. next, or cabin was so fun, and extremely clean! The pool was sparkling, and though the waterpark was not open, the kids had so much fun occupying themselves! The staff was extremely friendly. To the point where the maintenance guy, Pat, helped me set up extra chairs around the fire, and even lit the fire for us! He didn't have to do that! Can't wait to spend summer there !!! read more

We're Done After 4+ Years We've been coming to Jellystone for years, and we usually visit multiple times a year. Sadly, this was our last. For the price it's just not worth it anymore. There's zero enforcement of rules or any visible security presence. I understand you can't control who shows up, but it's become absolute chaos. Kids are out of control, zero supervision, rude, obnoxious, messy, the list goes on and the adults are just as bad. There's drinking everywhere, and not just kicking back with friends enjoying a drink. Like ghost ride the whip drinking. The entire campground reeks of weed, and it's honestly shocking how many kids were driving golf carts. A fight broke out at the pool. And at the jump pad, I was verbally and physically assaulted by a group of teenagers, clearly under the influence, while standing with my 1-year-old. It was terrifying and unacceptable. What used to be a fun family getaway has turned into a trashy, overcrowded, poorly managed mess. The bad now outweighs any good this place once had. We won't be coming back. read more

Nice camping spot with so much to do, especially for the kids. We've been here a couple of times and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves on each occasion. First, I love the Jellystone theme as it brings back a sense of nostalgia from my childhood. You can choose from tent camping, RV sites, cabins, and even bring your boat! There is literally something for everyone here. There's a store, laser tag, trampoline pillow, gem mining, mini golf, swimming pools, and other water activities. The first time we came was during Covid, and the Waterpark was still under construction. So happy we got a chance to take advantage of the end result and lazy river, the kids couldn't get enough of it! I love the fact that they have events going all the time and it's truly a family friendly experience. If you haven't been you should definitely check it out. read more

We have gone to Jellystone 3 years in a row with our 3 young kids and several other families. We love it! Endless entertainment for the kids. From ga-ga ball, to the night Hayride parade. Everyone decorates their bikes or scooters with glow in the dark accessories. Customer service is very responsive too. The previous campers left a mess on the grass next to our firepit. The staff cleaned it up within an hour. Jennifer at Check in was amazing as well. There was a mix up with our VIP passes but she sorted it all out fast and with a smile. My only complaint is the pools are small and get WAY over crowded on the weekend. The water can get pretty scary looking. read more

My family and I had a fun stay at Jellystone. Misty and Jennifer were very kind and took great care of us. All the staff was very friendly. Our kids had a blast at the Waterpark, toasting smores and over all enjoying spring break! We will definitely be returning. read more

We came here to celebrate my granddaughter's birthday and rented 3 spaces for family and friends: 378, 310, and 309. From the moment we arrived, the registration staff was rude, short, and completely unwelcoming. Instead of a smile or a warm greeting, we got eye rolls, curt remarks, and an overall attitude that made us feel like we were a burden. For the amount of money we spent to bring multiple families here, we expected at least basic courtesy. This was supposed to be a special trip for a child's birthday, but the poor attitude at the front desk soured it right from the start. I will not be returning, and I will be warning others that this resort does not value its guests--especially those celebrating special occasions. read more
