not happy spent $1400 for 2 cabins , ac sounds like a washing machine, we rented these cabins so our kids could use the swimming but the pool is closed and they didn't have the curtisy to call us in advance, spiders and webs all through the cabin , very un happy and to top it all off the lady at the reception desk had a truckers mouth , using the f-bomb is not very curtious read more

We stayed here for a large group camping trip and were really satisfied with the accommodations. Some of our group camped in tents, and some of us booked cabins. Overall the campground was spacious. The picnic tables were in great condition, as was the pool area. There is also sand volleyball along with a mini golf area available. Directly across the street, a few friends went fishing. The bar across the street was highly patronized by our group as well. I was very happy with our cabin accommodations as everything was clean and tidy. Our cabin slept six and had one bed in the bedroom, a futon in the living room, and an air mattress in the loft above. I would recommend putting littles up there as most adults would have to maneuver the loft on their knees or crawling across. From what I heard from other friends, most all of the cabins all have the same layout, some cabins may be a bit more dated than others in terms of decor. Ours was fine, and I would totally rent that one again. There is a full fridge, a stove and microwave in the cabins. We often went to our group's community area on the campsite so we didn't really use the kitchen, but it was handy for prepping and storing items. The staff was always friendly and helpful with paperwork or answering any questions I had. There was lots to keep the kids busy and our group enjoyed it here. We would definitely come back here again. read more

My husband and I drove through here about five years ago when we first got our travel trailer, we weren't really impressed at the time. We agreed we'd never stay there. Felt like we were visiting a trailer park where people just strictly lived, tweaker like people, felt like you had to lock everything up and not leave anything out when you left your site. We were told that they were in the process of getting rid of most of the permanent residence, looks like they did. At the time there were people working on their cars, residents congregating in the office being all loud seeming put out by customers. They DEFINITELY cleaned up the place, more professional and businesslike, clean and inviting, helpful staff. Soooo many nice spacious RV sites with grass and shade trees, many of the RV sites are just electric & water but they have a very nice convenient dumpsite on the grounds, the sites with just water and electric are on grass and beautifully shaded, so many shade trees!! We arrived Saturday morning and departed Sunday afternoon, all the other RVer's and campers were respectful and there were some big groups/families there. Many nice big RV's. Michelle in the office was a pleasure to work with and very knowledgeable, very accommodating and helpful. There's a sports bar across the street, different owners from what i understand, Five years ago it too was also a major turn off, they cleaned it up quite a bit as well!! Tables outside were still pretty dirty though, not cleaned from the night before, a couple of ashtrays sitting around with a bunch of cigarette butts in them still but the inside of the bar was nice, clean and inviting, the food was super delicious! everything everybody in our group ordered we enjoyed thoroughly, kudos to the current owners and cooks!!! They had a band from 2 PM to 5 PM and then another band started up in the evening, lots of fun dancing! When you're done partying you just walk across the street to your camp spot, how convenient is that! We had breakfast down the road at Korth's Pirates Lair, the bacon and eggs were OK, their country potatoes were just potatoes nothing mixed in with them, boring and the orange juice was very water down, you can barely taste the juice in it but they did have a pretty nice menu, maybe I'll try something different next time. I like the setting, being right by the water, very grassy and inviting. We just added lighthouse Marina Resort to our list of favorites!! This would be a great place to plan a family and friends camp trip, feels far from home but it's not, can't wait!!! We paid $95 for an RV site with electrical and water, we weren't told that there was gonna be an extra $35 fee, maybe it's in the $95 fee ?? The site was most definitely worth $95. we did not pay extra for Wi-Fi, our phones and our Wi-Fi on our Verizon service worked well and we were able to mirror shows from Netflix onto our TV, no complaints there But in all fairness it wasn't like the park was at capacity and had low bandwidth. read more

The campground is beautiful. Lots of shade. Amazing trees. However, the only sites with sewer were in the area with no trees. There was no maintenance whatsoever. The grass was so tall that in the morning, your shoes and socks got wet in a few steps. The clubhouse was closed until May 1st, so there were no activities available. That is not advertised on their website. They make your reservation and never tell you that all you get is a space for your RV. I stayed 7 nights, and the trash bag was never changed. The marina is the sorriest marina I've ever seen. I wouldn't dare to walk on those woods. They look rotten and ready to collapse. There are a lot of signs about their store, but it is not open until the season starts. If you like isolation, you should be fine, but take everything you need because there is nothing available for several miles. My recommendation is to stay away from this place. read more

Could have rated it better but two things bothered me. The extra paid Wi-Fi did not work and the clerk could be more helpful. I bought some extra work so I could use the paid Wi-Fi. He could only say he would tell the technician. Secondly, I belong the to a national camping group that gives a significant discount. They tell you at the desk that there is an additional $35 dollar electricity charge now added per day. I realize PGE has greatly increased rates, but this seems quite high plus you need to warn your customers ahead of time instead of surprising them at the desk. Bathrooms were clean, however. Not sure if I'd stay here again. read more

My band, The Boots and Heels Band, played at the restaurant last night. We had a fantastic night. The owners were on site and they were two of the friendliest people I've met in a long time. The pizza was delicious and the restaurant and bar were clean and inviting. The patrons were ready to party and dance, they even helped the band load-in our equipment. I can't say enough good things about this place. Go there and enjoy. I knew I'll be back. read more

We have been visiting this park for over 25 years the last few have been horrible but for $50 a night it was tolerable ! We booked October 15th and 16th at the obscene amount of $90 a night ! Later called by the resort explaining they had been affected by the Rancho Marina and RV Park's fire - Lighthouse had no electricity for the foreseeable future ! The gentleman that called and told my husband this said we would be refunded ! I also confirmed this in an email to Lighthouse - nearly three weeks go by with no refund ! I called today and was informed we would receive a credit for a future stay ! I tried to explain we were not interested in going back to their park at the $90 a night ! So I told them that I would be making a claim on my credit card and she hung up on me!! With all that said - unfortunately, they are apparently not in need or desire of traveling campers with all of their "livers" on site ! Thank you Lighthouse but no thank you !! Keep your dirty park and "out of service" pool and with no amenities for $90 a night !!! read more

Went here with my husband for our anniversary without our kids this weekend 5-11-18. As we seen, it was quite and well maintained and Any remodels. People are friendly and I loved that everyone is so spaced out. Some places are a little bit claustrophobic. I do have to say the reason for my 3 stares is because I was a little upset that they didn't have free WiFi. Your on the delta with little to none reception and we have to pay for a plan?.. it's just a little irritating that we pay all this money for cost to cost and payed 30$ to stay there for the weekend and not have any WiFi unless we pay for some type of place. I had to walk up to the street to call my kids to check in with them. It made my stay a little nerve racking. I would give this place a try. read more

If I could, I'd rather give this place a half a star or no stars at all. Today we got here around 1pm for our family camping trip and it's our first time here. We reserved about 7 sites and we started setting things up. Then about an hour or so later, people from other campsites started complaining about us not being "Social Distancing" but we're the ones wearing face masks and/or face shields. The other people aren't wearing face coverings at all. There's no rules on their contract about social distancing. We just feel like people around us was being racist bcuz we're Asian. So instead we choice to leave the campsite with a full refund. We're never coming to this place ever again. What a bad experience for us to deal with this shyt. I have lived full time at the Lighthouse RV park since July of this year. For ~ 2 years previous I had been here only on weekends. I love this place. No RV park is perfect, but overall this park rates better than any others in the Delta. The staff are friendly and responsive to issues with a sense of humor. My neighbors are friendly, kind and respectful. Just about everyone owns dogs and are extremely respectful of the rules and the other dogs in the park. They even have a fenced dog area where they can run off leash. The camping area is beautiful with lots of shade making great dog walking. It has a boat launch area immediately across the road that the dogs love during the summer. My grandson loves staying here during the summer. The pool and mini golf course are great places for meeting other kids. We have surveyed the entire Delta for RV park choices and found this park to be our favorite. I would refer any friends or family looking for an RV spot, camping or cabin to the Lighthouse. read more

This place and really gone down hill. I've been coming here for about 15 years. This is the worst shape I've ever seen it in. Bathrooms were clean, but yellow brown water comes out of the sinks and toilet. Even in my rig, my water was brown. And smelled very bad when showering. Trash, cigarette butts all over the campsite. No activities going on anymore. Place was super empty. And don't even get me started on the restaurant across the street. Once used to be a nice place for drinks and a meal. Not anymore! This place is a joke. My family and I went camping there on August 3rd & 4th and checked out on August 5th. All three days off and on NO WATER. Prior to checking in the office knew they were having problems with the pumps, but still they allowed everyone to check in without telling them or giving them the option to reschedule. At least put up a sign. We had to leave the site and drive to McDonald's to use the restroom and brush our teeth. Our toilets were overflowing with bowel movement. I ran into a previous owner and she said it was nothing new. Can you imagine fishing all day and can't take a shower before bed? Upon checking out the manager SHANNON had an attitude because the members were complaining. They did not offer any type of compensation. I would say to rethink this if you plan to become a member. read more

The pool is out of service two to three times a year. Currently it's due to covid I believe. There is no pre warning no one lets you know you have no pool access. It's hot with no pool or access to water without a boat. The bar across the road is a joke. Not well maintained. There are "ankle breakers" deep holes you cannot see all over. Some of the sites have the sewer in very inconvenient places. There are some nice spots with good shade. The cabins are ehh ok. Expensive for the state they are in. The benches are old and dangerous. Broken down and plain scary to sit on at all. I would say about 10 in the park are use able. The dog park is full of foxtails and needs to be maintained. The roads are dusty as a son of gun and people drive fast up at down throwing clouds. They need water or some kind of speed regulation. Overall it's pretty quiet at night and cools down with some beautiful sunsets. The property is old and no one seems to take care of it well. There are many permanent residence some are clean, quiet and Respectful and some are not. You can park for a night or two but that's about it. read more

This RV park is a greek tragedy. ~ The owners are very nice people who do their best to accommodate the members and residents. But the management is negligent and bias in their performance, as they lost my original electric deposit, and then charged me for it again. The second one was returned after my departure, thanks only to the efforts of the owner to sort out the dilemma. But it still took them three months to refund it to me, due to the office staffs negligent book keeping and wrong address. Which they obviously had correct before I left. Because they sent all my rental bills to me before I moved, than suddenly couldn't manage to mail my refund check to the proper address. In honesty, I feel sorry for the owner, because he is such a trusting and honest soul, he doesn't see what's really going on. ~ I have to add that the volunteers do try hard to please the members, and in my opinion are underpaid for their efforts.. In my opinion they overcharge for their paying members for the social events, with their membership charges some gratuitous benefits should be included to show their appreciation for the business ~ But this is the type of character who is working in the office and at the guard shack insuring your safety and tending to your needs when you visit. I recommend you stay clear of this bozo circus to avoid getting caught up in their drama and childish games. read more

We lived here for over 3 years the park is in bad condition, the water is horrible. The managers don't care about the park only making money. There used to be all kinds of stuff to do a once a month dinner. Everyone would pitch in, they shut that down. They shut the bingo down, they were horrible to the animals that were left there. Went into park office to make a complaint and stood at front desk for at least 2 minutes til I got someone's attention. This rating is for the park. The employees have been extremely responsive to my concerns. Joel, in maintenance, responded to my request to trim limbs over my 5th wheel that were scraping my roof and making "finger nails on the chaulk board" sounds. After he trimmed the branches, the wind got very strong, and limbs probably would of damaged my roof. Thank you Joel. read more

The park is very poorly laid out. In the D row half of the sites have utility access on the wrong side of the motorhome. If you have a sattelite dish there are many blackout sites (no reception areas). Most of the sites with sattelite reception are occupied by long term residents. There are two bathrooms for the whole site. Prices at the general store are generally 2.5 times the price at a regular store. Wifi reception is spotty. There is one small laundry with only 3 washers and 3 dryers. The backhoe is operated all day. Probably a good choice for a day or two. Dont recommend for one or two week stay, unless you have a boat. read more

Cute little loop, facilities are nice looking showers in the bathroom never correctly work it's either scolding hot or freezing cold. The general store is over priced but that's to be expected with the convince. The power and water go out often , and don't let them do any favors for you cause it will end up costing more than if they just charged you the regular fee. read more

This resort has my vote of approval because of the young woman who welcomed us and checked us into our cabin...Felicia in the office was exceptionally accommodating and sweet, in spite of the fact that we arrived just moments before she should have been closing (on a Saturday night, albeit!). Felicia was kind enough to give us a tour of the cabin and a rundown on the marina and she answered our many questions patiently and thoroughly. She set forth a very good impression for her company and it was a delight to make her acquaintance. We will surely return soon, and hope to be greeted by Felicia's warm smile and stellar level of customer service and hospitality. We have had this membership for 30 years but are trying to cancel it. Other members of the household are not able to camp at lighthouse without the people who are registered on the card present i.e. Even though I am 24, I am not able to camp under my father's membership and we are not able to transfer it to both of us. So we called about canceling it today and the fee for canceling is 3 years of members dues. Save yourself the time and never sign up here. Awful management practices and I have never been so unsatisfied with customer loyalty in my life read more

Back in the 70s Bob built the clubhouse which is where the bathrooms are contained. I don't think that they have been updated since. My grandchildren refuse to go back becasue of the filth and stinch of the bathrooms. The poor lady who operates the gate also runs the store. She tries her best to be at two places at the same time. Feeling sorry for her we kept our grandchilderen from going to the store for treats. She is a very sweet person. The gate situation is a joke. They need to update the bathrooms and gate. Looks like they are trying to attract more perminent folks verses weekender and vacationers. Since they are part of RPI and it costs next to nothing to stay we might stay only to fish but not going to try to bring friends or family This used to be a great place. read more

This may be the worst campground I have ever been to. Staff are rude, unprofessional and hypocritical. They yell at other people for driving too fast yet speed around all day themselves. The so called"security/maintenance" people smoke pot and abuse the many dogs they have tied up in the back. When a complaint was made, It was just blown off and nothing done. Gates left open all night yet locked all day. Bathrooms stink, are disgusting and have mold in the showers. The so called "store" has an open sign and never has anyone in there. Place is falling apart and has a very sad atmosphere. Birds and flys are out of control in the area and its always windy/breezy. I will never stay here again and let everyone I know to steer clear of this dump. read more

We've had a membership here for about 10 years now, and one thing hasn't changed: that nasty water from who-knows-where. This year, we brought a water filter in hopes of making the water drinkable... Not quite. So, then we boiled the water, upon which we noticed that it left a brown ring around the pot. Yuck! The campground has a pool, hot tub, RV park, miniature golf course, and chalet options for those of us who prefer the great indoors. Aesthetically speaking, the site is decent. But it is immediately evident that functionality is the issue. Nasty water. Old golf courses in need of a paint job. Small, pitiful playground area. Unfrequented "clubhouse". One person manning the car gate and convenience store (2 different locations). The list is extensive. Interestingly enough, they can afford to provide Dish to the customers but not fix the park... The only reason I gave two stars is because some of the staff are reasonable. One particular lady opened the gate for us an hour after the shift was over--and it wasn't even her day to work. So kudos to her. Our family goes here every year, and we're hoping that they give us a reason to keep coming back. We made a lot of memories here, back when people cared to keep things running. read more
