Don't know how I feel about the bar and grill as a whole . I did not stay at the resort , we just stopped by to have lunch. There were a good amount t of people but the service was slow. I had the loaded tater tots. They were super greasy but good. My partner had a burger- he enjoyed it . Another person in our party had the fish tacos but was not a fan Food was ok in general but I can't rate it higher because of the service . For some reason I couldn't add protein to the tater tots. We were told to find anywhere to sit but took 20 min for someone to come by and take our order . I may give it another shot read more

Friendly people, great vibe, delicious food. We love hanging out at Ko-ket. The riverfront is beautiful. There is a bar/restaurant with a deck overlooking the Sacramento River. You can camp with your RV or tent and have easy access to the water. There's also a boat launch and you can put in with paddle boards or kayaks right from the beach. My friend wanted to explore more locations that we can take our dogs swimming. She likes camping in cabins, I have a custom van that I camp in. We were only going to go for the day but I thought since I was driving an hour and a half I might as well go Thursday and then spend the day Friday with our dogs on the beach. Since it was a 3-day weekend, the requirement was 3-day reservation. So I called and told them I was coming in on Thursday and leaving Friday. They said they could accommodate me. I came up on Thursday, walked into the restaurant and the nicest lady behind the bar with the biggest smile greeted me. I asked if I could check in and she told me to go across the little road to the check-in office. I went over to the office and in her defense I did interrupt her lunch. She was not exceptionally friendly. But she did check me in and gave me a two-page flyer telling me all the the rules and regs and resources along with Wi-Fi password. I asked her specific questions about dog presents on their property. On leash in the resort, off leash is okay in the water. I asked her how do I get to it, she pointed right down The ramp. Okay cool. I went and I got my van and I drove over to the campsite she gave me. There was no RVs or campers /tents in the 10 spaces where I was directed to. The site she gave me was the only one in full direct sunlight. I went back and asked her if I could have one of the shade spots. So she said okay. I moved over three spaces and had complete shade coverage. I quickly changed into my bathing suit and went down to the beach but I didn't go down to where she directed me. I went down right across from my site. There was a little step onto an almost private beach, which I liked because I don't want my dog bothering other people's security. I have a Shepherd lab mix, she's black and she looks mean but she will lick you into submission! Submission! LOL. So just for everybody's security I tend to take her further away so she can enjoy her swim. She was down on the beach swimming for about 3 hours when she came out and laid down on the beach. And RV pulled up to deliver a trailer and my dog jumped up and ran across the RV property. Up to this guy like she knew who he was. He opened the door and started petting her. I was quickly on her heels. I hooked her up to her leash and walked her back down to the beach, after apologizing to the driver. Driver. He had no problem with it at all. 3 minutes later the owner comes over calling for me, I turned and looked and he stated in a somewhat gruff voice that he is the owner and dogs are required to be on the leash. I apologized and stated that she was in the water where I understand she doesn't need to be on a leash. And he repeated that the dog has to be on a leash and I showed him that my dog was on a leash. He just walked away. The next morning I decided to walk down to the beach that they told me to go to on day one, and it was smaller than the area that I was at the day before. But right in front of the beach was a big sign that says no dogs on the beach! So you might be able to guess that I was a bit confused about the rules around having your dog there. I called my friend and told her that this was not a dog friendly campground that she thought it was through her online search. I packed up and left at 10:00 a.m. And went to del Val and the dogs swam and rumped all day long Having a great time. Don't get me wrong about this campground, mine is specifically to dog friendliness. As far as the cottages, they look cute as hell. The campground is very small.. but they have a popular restaurant that is visited by people boating on the Sacramento River. read more

Unfortunately they have cut the amount of their loaded tots in half. There is half the amount from the last time I came here probably last year. It's unfortunate I get costs are higher but I won't be going back if they are cutting portions like that. read more

Stopped at Ko-ket for brunch after a hard day working in the orchard. The food and service were excellent!! I had a omelette w/ bacon and my friend had the fish&chips....both items had good size portions...found out that they do not cook with seed oils...they use beef tallow...bonus points!! I will definitely visit again when I'm in the delta. read more

This resort is great! We stayed somewhere else and boated in for breakfast. We met the host and he showed us around. Our family loved this place so much that we are planning an annual trip to The Delta and we will stay here. We ate her twice but only took pics of our last meal here. The food is great!!! Great family fun, RV camping, OR bungalow rentals, tasty grill, yummy treats and some delicious adult libations right on the river! Who could ask for more??? This place is the place to be for summer fun in the sun. While we were there, a group of people arrived on jet skis and tied up to the dock, just to enjoy a lunch out on the deck. We are definitely going to be coming back here often. I read they have great live music too! read more

I called Ko-Ket Resort about renting a camp spot for my fiancé and I for one night and to my surprise someone answered the phone right away and was very polite friendly and very helpful! After letting him know of our needs he said go on in the resort take a look at the site and he gave us detailed information about a peaceful camping spot on the water and it was just like he described very beautiful and peaceful So that was where we put the tent up and that was where my Fiancé cooked the most amazing dinner was prepared We had a few Mallard ducks that wanted to join us for dinner and they were very polite and stayed in the water and didn't try to get aggressive or steal our food After dinner we were ready for a hot shower however something with the hot water heater was not working but by that time of the evening I thought of calling the manager but I waited until the morning to let them know of the problem and once I told him he said I should have called him last night...so that goes to show you that the Customer Service is top notch and as I see it they want to keep everyone happy because they sure did with us!! Bravo! Great job and thank you for going over and above I'm giving Ko-Ket Resort 5 Stars because they really know what is most important to their guests and we recommend everyone who is in the area check it out RV spaces and camping the old school way with a tent! read more

We took my mom out here a week after Mother's Day and had an incredible lunch experience. Even though mom needs a walker to get around she had no problem at Ko-Ket. The ramp from the lot to the deck was easy for her to traverse. We had Coconut shrimp and onion rings for appetizers and they were delicious. Mom had fish and chips and I ordered the fish tacos. What a great and affordable lunch. I loved this place the first time I went many years ago. The family owned atmosphere and the deck overlooking the river feels like a real getaway. My family and I stay at Koket at least once a year and it had always felt like a fun place to unwind. This past trip, there were a number of events that occurred that made us feel unsafe. First of all, the new management was not as welcoming as the previous staff and came off a bit racist, as everyone else was being treated better than us. It was blatantly obvious to the point that even our children noticed. In addition to this, the amount of people who were intoxicated to the point of falling over was alarming, especially since we had three kids on the trip with us. Lastly, in the middle of the night, we were woken up by multiple firefighters and police due to one of the guests causing a scene because they were on drugs. This place is no longer family friendly and it is obvious they only care about the money. read more

Had 40th Eighth grade reunion August 2023. It was great service. The cabins and campsites were unique to the delta. Ko-Ket is in the river side of the road so it's narrow, but that's what makes for the adventure. read more
