Awesome little stop along the delta. We pulled the boat up here from Ox Bow and stopped in for an afternoon beer (for me) and hot dog (for him). They also sell gas if you are out and about on the water and need to top if off- rates seemed reasonable as well. Quaint little store with the essentials: bags of chips, 12 packs of beer, bottles of wine, liquor, and various other treats. There are other boating supplies and summer gear avaliable. At the counter you can buy a draft beer or a hot dog and enjoy it outside on the patio. Before you hop back on the boat, there is a space at the end of the dock to clean your catch of the day before you motor on home. Cool place to stop when you're out fishin'! read more

There is a stove & fridge. No cooking tools, no plates, no cups, no coffee maker. No phone, no TV, no radio, no wi-fi. Windy night rattled the windows and leaky walls let the cold blow into the room. I slept poorly. This place defines bare bones. Calling this place a resort is laughable. Waaaayyyyy overpriced for the quality and lack of amenities. read more

One of the main locations where a lot of boat owners do their boat launching from on this side of the Delta Loop, Delta bay. Location has Minnie of little areas to visit for example, like a little deli that has a sit down bar that may be seats about seven or eight people, also a convenience store inside. Outside the surrounding area are some rentals, along with a boutique that is open on Saturday and Sundays. So if you happen to forget your swimwear, or looking for some summer where there's a new boutique a couple of hundred feet from the little deli. Also in the area is a boat and RV storage company. All located off of the Brannnan island exit. As you visit the deli, they are known for serving soft, serve cones and hotdogs and beer. You can enjoy all of this sitting outside on their little patio deck. There is close door parking there's a little something for everyone in the family as I noticed a playground area on the backside of the deli dogs can enjoy being out and about as well having them on a leash, taking a stroll. read more

Back in 2000, we kept a classic Century speedboat in dry storage here. We'd come up on weekends and "Jesse" would launch it with a tow tractor. That was really great! Occasionally we'd rent one of the tiny cabins to overnight in. Sadly, the old Highway 12 bridge was VERY noisy is very close and utterly spoiled the ambiance. Good gas dock, nice wet berths. Great hot dogs in the store. Those were great days and the "Loop" was really fun with many great places to visit, eat and enjoy music. Drove around there recently, it looks pretty quiet now and many of the old hot spots are gone. Some of the places are real dumps now. read more

So we've stopped here to fuel up a few times. The dock has a self pay station so you can fill up your boat 24/7. There's also a small store...but it's not on the dock. It's a short walk away. This particular marina store has draft beer on tap! Gifts, food, drinks, and ice are all available but again, items are limited as this is a small store. Staff at the store were really friendly. Besides slips, they also rent cabins...but we didn't check them out. Outside the store, there are a few tables in a covered area to sit and relax and enjoy your beer. Adequate stop if you're on the river. You can even stop here if you're driving on highway 12. In my book, this is a pretty average delta marina. read more

The Owner was a gem, he was very very nice And helped us with our a combination as well as giving us dishes for the cabin rental.Place was extremely clean we had a two bedroom cabin across from the river. The entire staff was warm and caring. My dog took off and The entire staff helped me find her and we had a good ending because of them. You can go swimming at an area and there's a little bar in the store as well as being able to get food. I found the whole place charming and I will we will be back! read more

I'm a fair reviewer. I tend to look at where I'm at, compare it to other places in the area and go from there. B & W is a resort with potential. It could be great, but there's a lot of things that could use improvement. Especially when there are other resorts in the area that offer more amenities, for much less than what we paid ($170@night) I stayed here with my family during a pretty nasty heatwave in August. First let's get to the real cruft of the issues. B&W hasn't been updated since it was built. We visited during a heat wave, and the cabin retained its heat until the wee hours of the morning. Of course, while you're in the delta the last thing you want to do is spend your entire time inside the cabin, but there wasn't much to do outside the cabin. We did bring some extra fans (Cabins are equipped with 2 ceiling fans) but my god, it was unbearable. There was not even a coffee pot in the kitchenette. No TV, no wifi, not even decent 4g phone coverage. The first night we were there we jumped in the river at the beach, but then a wedding party decided to park past the bouy's that plainly say, "NO BOATS PAST HERE!" Nobody is watching the beach, so the rule isn't being policed by the resort. Kind of scary when you're swimming with your kids and a few 20' boats with big engines come smoking up. Speaking of the wedding party, the resort did not tell us they would be taking over the beach area. We tried to return to the beach later (around 6ish) and was told by ushers they had exclusive right to the beach area. We didn't feel like arguing, so we got in our car to escape the heat and headed into town for a meal. When we returned (around 8ish) the wedding reception was in full swing. Loud music was blaring throughout the resort as drunken wedding guests danced to such great hits as "Achey Breaky Heart" I felt ripped off our first night. Nobody slept because the cabin was like an oven, not cooling off the entire night. No amount of open windows helped. (Not to mention that just made the noise worse) The music went on to about 10pm, with the guests not shutting the hell up until 11. The next day we did find the Rio Vista community pool, and avoided the resort as much as possible. We still had to sleep one more hellishly hot night in the cabin. We couldn't wait to leave. Other resorts in the area are cheaper, but booked. They have amenities that B&W just doesn't think they need to provide. It would seem like they have a loyal following that keeps them in business, but I know I won't be coming back. read more

The staff at B&W from Barbara Deak on down are great. Very friendly and accommodating. The property is clean, well laid out and manicured. Amenities are what you'd expect from a top marina, good launch facilities, clean working fuel docks, a ship's store that's well stocked with pleasant staff. We had our boat garaged at Paradise Point Marina for 20+ years, and with the acquisition of the Marina by Peloria Marinas out of Los Angeles, in 2014 the marina has totally gone downhill, amenities lost, crime up, staff layoffs. The same thing has happened at their Lake Shasta marina, as confirmed by my brother in law, a boater form Redding. After a rash of thefts at Paradise Point from vehicles, boats and garages, including my truck being broken into in the parking lot while we were out skiing, the stereo and personal gear stolen. To coming back the next weekend to find an attempt to break into my garage to steal my boat and personal gear, the only thing preventing access was I had the hasp double locked. We knew at that it was time to get the heck out of Paradise Point, and we started searching for a new home, ASAP!! Barbara was incredible with helping us into a new garage at B&W and welcoming us on board to their well run facility. B&W is a great example Delta Marinas need to operate and accommodate their guests. I'm sorry for the hassle we had to go through getting away from Paradise Point but am grateful it landed us here at B&W. Great Marina in a wonderful location!! read more

B&W offers very basic cabins. They have a good location on the Delta on the Mokuleme river, with a small beach (unless it is high tide). There are restaurants nearby, but nothing within walking distance. It seems like the classic summer family vacation place, that has not changed in 40 years (not a good thing). On the plus side, bring your boat and have fun all day....you will be too tired to notice the accomodations. The north end of the Delta where B&W is does not have the crowds you see around Brentwood, and makes for better boating. read more

What a great place! We stayed in one of the cabins over Memorial Day weekend. The cabin was rustic, quaint, quiet, and clean. I really loved that you have parking for your boat trailer and vehicle at your cabin. You also have a picnic table and bbq to use. There's a nice open grass area by the office and another one at the point of Georgiana Slough where you can relax in your beach chair by the river. The staff was very friendly and the location is excellent. The ONLY complaint I have is that the bed was horrible. An old spring mattress and box spring on a rolling metal frame. Come on folks, at $170 a night surely you could upgrade the beds to something from this century. read more

Supper easy to check in and launch the boat. The ramp is short and easy to use. Long side docks so multiple people can load in and load out without getting in each others way. The bathroom is pretty good, but then could've use soap in the bathroom. read more

Our family have been coming here since the early 90's... same week, and the same families. We have a BLAST. The cabins are wonderful, and there are play sets for the kids. There is a boat launch on site as well. It is a quiet area for boating, and playing in the Delta. I cannot tell you how much we enjoy our Delta vacation! read more

I have been going to b&w for 10 years now the same week and same cabin every year. This will be year 11 in August. It's always the same families and I love it. I look forward to it all year and book the next year the day I leave. Nothing has changed and I like it that way. We've been going to B&W for about 15 years. It's a well-run resort at a great boating location. We rent the upstairs cottages overlooking the levee and boat docks. It's so peaceful there in the evenings. I see the same folks there year to year with their families. It's a tradition. I especially like the off season there (any time school is running). It's very quiet then. October is my favorite time there. The rates lower then too so it's a very good deal. The launch ramp is very good. Plenty of parking and good docks. They have a fuel dock at B&W as well as a small store that has food and boating essentials. The location is also a good base for boating up to the Mokelumne River loop (the run to Walnut Grove is a nice one and takes a few hours). When the weather is nice, it's also a good run to Rio Vista. I also noticed they have a lot of bass tournaments there and have seem some very nice fish come out of the area. There are are a lot of reeds for good bass fishing over toward Tower Park Marina. I stumbled upon this place when boating the delta about 20 years ago. We watched the old steam boats that were having an event there. From then on, I fell in love with the place. I would recommend getting a copy of Hal Schell's delta map when cruising out there. It could be easy to get "misplaced" without maps if you don't know the area but no problem with a good map. You can buy them at the store at B&W or online. They have WiFi but the last time I went there (a year ago) it was installed and supported by a third party. There is a daily WiFi fee from them. We're headed out there. Gotta run :-) read more

Used to be a place to go, but I don't recommend this place anymore. Very dated with no upgrades and the ownership is aggressive. I suggest an alternate place like Lighthouse or Tower Park. Ownership for no reason interrogated our kids while they purchasing food and beverage's from her store. I can go on about our experience, but let me just help you out and say this place is not worthy enough to hold a single penny that you earned. I would pay more somewhere else and not go here. read more

Great place on the delta. My family has been going here yearly for over 50 years. Sadly The owners here have zero customer service skills. All they want is your money and will not allow for you to stay in their cabins for less than a week. None of these cabins have AC so be warned those suckers do get uncomfortable during a heat wave. Traditions brought my family back over and over here, but sadly those are now officially dead. The owners are rude and do not appreciate you as a customer. I highly recommend using the Lighthouse Marina just up the street. The Lighthouse has awesome grounds/amenities for families, trailer friendly and pet friendly, AC in nice more modern looking cabins, and the staff are great!! There is so much more to offer and they are less pricy. There's even a super fun restaurant bar and boat launch across the road for your convenience. Check it out for yourself. read more

I had mechanical problems with my boat and boat trailer that extended my stay at B & W Marina by 48 hours. They allowed me to check out late and discounted some of my expenses to help with my troubles. I will definitely be staying there again! read more

Beware sailors you are not especially welcome at this resort, specifically the boat launch. I didn't mind the extra charge for launching, as sailboats do take up more time in the parking lot. But when I purchased the overnight parking the extra launching fee was not waived. When I brought this up with the "manager" named Candy, she was rude and even my kids commented that she seemed unhappy. The only reason I gave two stars is that the launch ramp is in good working order. Candy needs sweeten up a little bit. read more
