WHY I WENT HERE: - business trip THE LOOK (FROM THE OUTSIDE): - located on a triangle plot in between Pine St, Clayton Rd, and Market St - north of the plot is a gas station, middle of the plot is the hotel, south of the plot is a convenience store - ingress/egress to the hotel is off Pine St - parking available to the north and west THE LOOK (FROM THE INSIDE): - breezeway allows you partially inside the hotel; the sliding door from the breezeway into the hotel remains closed and locked unless you ring the doorbell for the front desk to allow you entry or if you have key card access - at the time of my stay the front desk said this location has only been open for 9 months - interesting that the elevator was all stainless steel walls - fitness center has all the essentials - breakfast area is spacious and continental breakfast is solid - room itself was great - if you're noise sensitive this may not be the hotel for you considering that it's a smaller hotel surrounded by busy streets and very closely located to the freeway; I'm all for white noise so it doesn't bother me CUSTOMER SERVICE: - used the Hilton App to utilize the Digital Key; had to go to the front desk to get issued an old-fashioned key card (once I did that of course my digital key worked) - also got my parking permit issued from the front desk to display on the dash of my car

New hotel with hot breakfast and convenient location. My stay here was great. Staff were the highlight - they were all so friendly and helpful, I felt absolutely pampered! They all contributed to making my stay so much more comfortable with their accommodation of early check-in and concierge-type advice about the area, among other things. Room was spotlessly clean, as was the whole facility. Room was spacious, with pleasant, modern decor. Quiet, too. Plenty of good lighting, desk, chairs, TV, alarm clock, plus convenient outlets so charging devices was easy. I was thrilled that there was a small refrigerator and microwave in the room! The bed was very comfortable. Parking was easy. They do add a small charge for parking, which is to be expected in this area. There's a gas station adjacent to the property. Restaurants and shopping are nearby, just a quick walk or drive away. Overall, it is a secure, comfortable, and welcoming hotel that I highly recommend!

This is in a bad area. A 24 hr liquor store is right next to it. I was told there's a security guard but we didn't see one for the nights we stayed there. There was a spider in our room. Housekeeping came twice to see if we're leaving even though we requested a later check out. They charged me & my son's room for parking even though it says free, luckily we were able to get that reimbursed

Great! I love the virtual key! The reception gave us four free waters and the hot breakfast was yummy- waffles, biscuits and gravy, and all the cold items! The room was large and cozy. They have a wood chip pet area

Great NEW Hampton Inn located in Concord right off HYW 242 and close to 680. Very clean with a super attentive friendly team. A special shout out to Christina at the front desk, she's been GREAT! The main lobby area is very open and spacious. Lots of seats and tables available including charging ports everywhere! A perfect pop up office if needed. Plus access to the printer is also available!

When it comes to hotels, there are three things that I prioritize - cleanliness, comfort, and…read moresafety. Overall, Homewood Suites did very well with this piece. When I first walked in the room, I could immediately smell that it had been cleaned yet it did not give off any chemical smell - I am very sensitive to chemical odors and can get headaches from them. The sheets, linens, shower, and surfaces all appeared very clean. The only minus, which is why I took away a star, was some of the utensils in my kitchen area had very visible food remnants on them and one of the knives had a large thumbprint, so I made sure to take utensils from the breakfast area instead and did not feel comfortable using any of the dish-ware or drink-ware either, given the state of the utensils. This was very gross but overall I was impressed with the overall cleanliness. The man at the front desk was very friendly and helpful and made check in a breeze. The spaciousness of the room itself was wonderful and I found everything to be very comfortable. I had been able to pick out my room in advance on the app and chose a corner room on the top floor - it was very quiet despite it's proximity to the freeway. The room was dark overall but the only issue was the outlet in the bathroom had a nightlight built in which could not be turned off! I had to stack a couple things in front of it to block out the light that was very close to the bed. I stayed at 3 hotels on my fall break trip and this one had by far the best quality and best variety of free breakfast options. I really appreciate having this. As a young single woman, I felt very safe in the neighborhood when walking into the hotel late at night. I hadn't realized when booking the hotel that it was actually across the street from the apartments my brother and his family used to live in - so I knew upon arrival it was a very safe area. I would absolutely stay here again and felt the value was there for the price I paid.

Plenty of towels, Kleenex and even paper towels. This room is stocked with it all. Stayed here overnight while attending a concert at the Concord pavilion which is a 30 minute drive from the hotel. Great amenities at a great rate. Would definitely stay here again in the future!

Upon check-in; no cigarette smell detected, bathrooms sanitized, carpets clean, mini fridge and microwave were wiped down. Didn't see any bugs the whole time I was there. I did see groundskeeper spraying in the afternoon. Overall housekeeping did great. The room didn't feel cramped, plenty storage space, SMART TV, media desk, nightstands had USB plugs to charge our phones, mini fridge perfect size to fit leftovers and pie from Nation's next door. Full breakfast included 5/5 Self serve, kept heated in warming trays, your basic eggs, bacon, shredded potatoes, toaster for bread, build your own waffles! This one takes 5 minutes each waffle and if there's a line then you'll be waiting even more... H/T get there as soon as breakfast starts at 6am! Some guests filled up their plates like there's no tommorow.. smh Grounds 4/5 Outdoor pool nice, They keep outdoors area maintained. I actually spent one early morning having breakfast outdoors in a tiny area with tables... the only minor letdown was I saw one of the amenities was a exercise room but when I went to workout it was closed, it looked like it was being renovated.. so maybe next stay here it will be open Booked thru Sam's Club Travel.. no problems and saved me $150!

We were in the area for an event and decided to grab a room for the night. My guy went all out and…read morebooked us the two-bedroom suite, which ended up being such a great call. The room was huge! It had a cute little kitchen setup with a dining table, a comfy corner couch in the living area, and two separate bedrooms, which made it feel more like an apartment than a hotel. One room had a queen bed, a good-sized closet with wired shelving, and a super spacious bathroom with the sink area outside the bathroom, always a win when you're trying to get ready without fighting over space. The second bedroom had a king bed, its own walk-in shower, and the same setup with the sink outside the bathroom and open to the room, which made it super easy to multitask (aka watch TV while doing my makeup). The space overall was clean, functional, and comfortable. But my biggest complaint? That awful showerhead. It was grimy, leaking, and had the weakest water pressure. Definitely a letdown in an otherwise great room.... especially when a good shower is one of my top hotel priorities. The bathroom had the potential to be a vibe, but the shower situation totally killed it.

We had an extended stay here for work. The big feature is that they allow pets -- both dogs and…read morecats to stay, which was a big plus for us! The staff were always very friendly and accommodating. There were a couple of times we had a lot of clarifying questions and they never made us feel like we were annoying them. Even when we checked out, I double checked the pet fee after having paid and left already. They had accidentally overcharged me, as I had stayed for less time than the price I had paid. I called them up to inquire about it, and they were able to resolve the issue and refunded me the difference. Overall, the hotel was pretty clean for accommodating pets. I think this hotel seems to have a lot of smells from food that people bring it or of cleaning products. Even in our room, it seemed the room held on to smells for a long time, and despite having the air circulating or the window open, it was hard to get rid of the scents. It also seems other reviewers have mentioned some bedbug or other creepy crawly concerns, but we did not see any for the whole month we were there. We had a studio sort of room, so it was a large space that included the bed, a small living room with the couch, dining table, and kitchenette. The kitchenette includes a microwave that also can be an oven, an electric stove, and a nice sized refrigerator. They include the basic utensils for eating and cooking, bowls, plates, cups, mugs, pans, pots, colander. There is a coffee maker, as well. They provide you with dishwashing soap but it is not of great quality as it doesn't bubble. There is no sponge they provide to wash your dishes. They do have some dishwasher detergent for the dishwasher they also have in the unit. It seems they do not do room service unless you specifically request/schedule for it. It's probably because they have pets and they need you to have your pet out of the room when they service it. Parking is free, and they provide you with a parking pass to leave on your dashboard. They have a 24/7 gym with a few key equipment, including 2 ellipticals, 1 stationary bike, 1 non-functioning Peloton bike, 3 treadmills, bench for weights, back extension. They have wipes to clean the equipment, a water jug, and towels for your convenience. There is complimentary breakfast. It starts at 6:30 am on the weekdays, 7 am on the weekends. They have someone making custom ready-to-order omelets. They have the standard coffee and tea (coffee runs out pretty quickly in the morning since this is a busy hotel for working guets), scrambled eggs (one plain, one with veggies), sausage or bacon, potatoes, fruit, cereal, oatmeal, breads. There is a bar with a happy hour as well, but they do not have a sit-down restaurant here. Fortunately, there are many restaurants close by in Downtown Pleasant Hill. Other amenities include meeting rooms, a pool, basketball court. Overall, it was a pretty solid experience at Hyatt House!

The room seemed to be in pretty good shape. The continental breakfast was ok. The eggs said cage free but they were steam cooked or something because the texture wasn't ideal. The waffles were quite good but the other breads/bagels would have been better from a grocery store (the hotel literally thaws their breads before placing them out and it messes with the texture and flavor in my opinion). I also wish they would have had more options overall-- maybe some fresh cut fruit? (though there were whole fruits such as apples available) It was also in an incredibly convenient location-- especially for the wedding we attended at the community center just around the corner.

My family went today to have a nice girls day. Cheers to 2026. We had planned the day about a month in advance and we're looking forward to it the entire time. Everyone who worked here was very nice and all of us really enjoyed our services (some had multiple) I do just need to say a warning. I've always know Lafayette was once a sundown town even though I grew up there and was hard to picture. So I expect certain people to act a way however it's gotten so much worse in recent years and we are white. So this is a warning to others. My sisters and I were in the hot tub after one of our treatments and we had ordered a couple appetizers and a bottle of bubbles to enjoy. The staff was very nice and brought it out to us in the hot tub and obviously brought it in plastic wine flutes as they know as employees no glass is allowed. About an hour later, an employee or manager approached us and let us know. There had been a complaint about glass in the hot tub. We explained to her and no, this is from your hotel that we ordered (and spent over $100 after spending a lot of money in the spa) and then she asked to verify that we were residence of the hotel and we explained yes we are doing the spa. I want to again state, This is nothing against the employees there. We clearly knew the lady was doing her job. A couple of us get out to go into the locker room to shower and change for dinner that we are going to have on the property (again money to the Park Hotel) and we noticed in the shower area, the swimsuit of a lady who was in the hot tub with us hanging by the shower. She is nowhere in the locker room and my friend notes "she is the one who complained and she must be getting a service right now" We realize that while we were in the hot tub chitchatting amongst ourselves, we brought up two points. 1) is the orange turd going to die this year and 2) why is all a certain type of people posting bad reviews on the Stranger Things episode where Will comes out to people - and SPECIFICALLY said we don't understand why people hold so much hate in their hearts and spend energy on it (this becomes ironic in a bit) While we didn't spend a lot of time talking about either of these, and they're not in excessively political, the lady I will name "Karen" in the hot tub (yes she looked like one) clearly was angry with the conversation the three of us were having and wanted to " get us in trouble" Meanwhile a man in the hot tub was super cordial and even joined in on our convo on airline preferences So this note is just straight for the Karen. We all grew up in Lafayette and we don't need your hate and toxicity in it really. I so really hope that you're not from our area and we're just visiting and staying at the hotel. You almost ruined a perfect day for us. And I wouldn't be as silent if I run into you at Safeway Hope you felt real "powerful", Karen. And sorry to the employee who had to do her due diligence and approach us

Other negatives were a relatively small room and having to pay for parking within a larger free lot. They did have a breakfast box (with apple) available in the morning and fresh brewed coffee on request at the front desk (a huge plus compared to those in-room packets). Other pluses were front desk staff who were friendly and helpful, and the fact that there were lots of restaurant choices (then take-out only) just across the street (or in the case of Boston Market across the parking lot). Hotels in the Bay Area are expensive, and staying at them is often a hassle because of parking. Finding this Courtyard by Marriott was a lifesaver: free parking, convenient location, high-quality economy/midscale accommodations. 10/10 would stay here again. GM Katrece Raine knew that my husband and I were staying here en route to our honeymoon, and she and her team conveyed their excitement for us and made sure we felt appreciated. I score low on the sentimental scale, but I will save forever the card the staff signed for us and left in a thoughtful snack and gift basket! The hotel is so conveniently located near highways and delightful places to eat and shop. Free parking is a huge plus, as is being located within walking distance of a drugstore, grocery store, and Bank of America banking center. We had one meal nearby and one meal and drinks at the hotel restaurant. Every employee with whom we interacted was pleasant and professional, from Darius who checked us in to the folks that we passed in the hallways. Hotel pools are my jam, and this indoor pool and jacuzzi was solid. The hotel beds were comfy, and being located near the highway did not bother my husband nor me at all. We don't have cable or a TV in our bedroom at home, so let me tell you, it was a treat to chillax and watch a movie from our hotel bed. $209, tax and fees included, for one night, was a STEAL for the quality we enjoyed. Until next time, Marriott by Courtyard Pleasant Hill!
