If you want to save money, I recommend visiting in August, January, or on weekdays like Tuesday or Wednesday, when it's usually less crowded. Also, be prepared to spend extra on activities and food. This is only about the day pass for the water park. First, you enter the hotel area but just keep walking past the lobby and keep going past the restaurants until you see the Adventure Park, take a left around the Adventure Park and you'll see the check-in for the Water Park. If you miss it, the people that can wrist bands at the water park will direct you. Once you're inside, far right are the changing rooms, rest rooms, and lockers. $18 for a small one. The wave pool wasn't working the day we went which was a bummer. Smaller in size but seemed cool. However, there are multiple slides and rides that were all good. Seems like the water slides all use salt water, and the pool outside is chlorinated. There's a bar, dippin dots, and a pretzel based place and a burger place inside for food and drink. No water bottle refill that we found but you can refill at the drink stations. For good rides, the family one (right biggest staircase when you face the left from the entrance) will let you on Sequoia Splash or River Canyon Run. The former is at the top to the right, and River Canyon Run is to the left. RCR is much tamer as a slide, but both have a 250 lb per person limit and 700 lb total limit. They weigh you before you get on so don't attempt to get on without that. The smaller body slides all run a lot of water flow so don't worry about getting slowed down or anything. Great water fun! Definitely will come again! They are big on safety, and have lifeguards posted everywhere, and they seem to rotate areas every 30 minutes. No running and they are super cautious about what goes on. Very helpful when asked about any questions. One more thing: You can pay for your parking ($20) when they check tickets. Make sure you keep that wristband. Where to start?!?!? First of all, it costs $20 per car per day to park here. You would think that people staying at the hotel would get free parking. 3 Nights cost me $60 to park. The hotel is huge, the wait time to sign in are very long! We rented the "Grizzly Bear" suite - it's a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom, with living room and a pullout queen sofa bed. We had 8 people in our group, 3 are 2yr old infants, we brought our own air mattresses for 2 of the kids. The cost for this room was about $400 per night; we stayed 3 nights. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom in the king room was big, the other bathroom was small. The indoor waterpark area is crowded and was probably over capacity. If you don't reserve a cabana (Which cost $350 per day), you may not get a place to sit. There must be 3,000 chairs in this place - every one of them was taken. They have a short, lazy river, there is a kids splash pad, a kid's water slide - you need to be a certain height to go on the slides. There are water slides for older kids, there are large water slides for older kids and adults, there is a wave pool and a regular pool. Outside is a large pool that we did not get to use. If you don't have towels, they lend you towels, but you need to sign them in and out. If you lose one, they charge it to your room. Be prepared to wait long times to do some things like miniature golf, the arcade, to order food, get on the elevator, etc. - there are a lot of people here, it is very busy. In the main lobby they have a little dance party for the little kids at 6PM every night. There are human critters walking around and interacting with the kids. Inside there are things to play, miniature golf, a ropes course, arcade. There are a few places to eat, they are very expensive. (Pizza, pasta, hamburgers, corndogs, ice cream, candy) and then there is the Barnwood restaurant that is only open at night. For breakfast, they have a buffet - terrible food! and it cost $28.99 per person - but it is all you can eat. P.S. the food lacks flavor and quality - yuck! There is also Dunkin Donuts - they have dry donuts, and terrible coffee. One thing you need to know is they do not accept cash here. You wear a wrist band which is attached to either a debit card or credit card which these are connected to your room number. You use the wrist band to unlock your room door, and to exit and enter the parking lot. If you want dinner, swipe your wristband, want to buy a gift or toy, swipe your wristband. It is a great idea. Every staff member is friendly and kind. They all say hello to you, and if you need assistance, they help you. The waitresses in the Barnwood restaurant were very good, friendly, fast, and accurate. They don't take cash to pay for things, but we left several tips in cash - they deserve it. PLEASE tip your waiters/waitresses. We tipped the room maids by leaving money on the bed when we checked out - they do a fantastic job on keeping the rooms fresh and clean. If you want something else to do, there is a Bass Pro shop about 2 miles away, we also went to a Black Bear Diner about 5 miles away. There is not much else fun stuff to do in Manteca. Overall, it was a good place to go and stay. We will go back, maybe in the off season when kids are in school. read more

This is a great spot for a vacation with kids. We came here with a group of 19 and had a great experience working with Erica Dean on our room block. She was very helpful and informative the entire time, even after our room block closed. The waterpark is great for kids probably from 3-12. We saw adults enjoying their time there, but mostly kids/families were kiddos that were fully mobile and at least 3 ft tall. I think 3ft is the minimum for getting kids access to 2 of the waterslides. My son just hit that requirement and he had such a blast just with the two slides. I think the 4-5 year olds loved the tide pool and the slides as well. This spot is really convenient for families to just have a place to stay, food, and entertainment all in one place. There are activities like yoga, story time, and arts & crafts. They also have a candy and ice cream shop on site. I really think we could probably come here annually and our kids can keep coming back to experience new things. My son only explored a fraction of the park, so I think by next year he'll have an even better time. Food here is mostly fried and not super diverse. Manage your expectations for healthier options because they really cater to the kids with pizza, burgers, nachos. The one salad they had on the menu was shockingly nor good. The rooms here are a small step above holiday inns - clean enough, pretty basic with not a ton of frills, has a mini fridge and plenty of counter space. My kids had the best time! I have two boys (11 and 7), and we went for my 7-year-old's birthday. I always said I'd never take them to Great Wolf Lodge, but my April baby always wants a "pool" party--and it's usually cold or rainy--so I gave in. Prices were actually reasonable, so we booked Sunday-Tuesday. Check-in lines were long, but the self-serve kiosk was quick and easy. We got wristbands for the room and water park and headed straight to the pool. It was packed Sunday around 5 p.m., which was expected, so we stayed a couple hours and went back to the room. Food inside the hotel was either closed or overpriced, but the location is great--about 0.5 miles from Panda Express, Chili's, Costco, La Estrella (amazing Mexican food), and more. We ate at Chili's. Parking is $20/day. You can use the water park from check-in day through checkout, which is awesome. My 11-year-old loved the Howlers Peak Ropes Course. My 7-year-old and I tried it, but he got scared at the top--staff helped him down right away. I don't blame him, it's high! I only did the first level, but my 11-year-old did the second level three times. My 7-year-old also loved the arcade. Most attractions cost extra, but there are decent deals. The only ones I wouldn't do again are mini golf and bowling--they're very small and just okay. We had the unlimited family pass, so we used them anyway. Best part: the slides! I'm 32 and my husband is 34, and we had just as much fun as the kids. Big or small, all the slides were a blast. Honestly, one of our favorite family vacations. We had such a fun experience at Great Wolf Lodge! It is definitely a very kid-focused hotel and a great one-night getaway if you want something easy, exciting, and memorable for children. We only stayed one night, but we really made the most of it. We enjoyed the water park for two full days and spent at least 2.5 hours there each time. My son especially loved our Wolf Den room and got such a kick out of the bunk bed. It made the stay feel extra special for him. We also did Build-A-Bear, played arcade games, joined the free arts and crafts, and enjoyed story time and the dance party. The property is so well organized, and they really seem to have thought of everything when it comes to entertaining kids. Breakfast was honestly the highlight of our morning. They had everything you can think of and more, and it was delicious. We paid for it as part of our package, and I believe it was around $35 for two people, which felt like a steal for the amount and variety of food. I know some reviews mention cleanliness issues, but that was not our experience. Our room was very clean, and we had no problems. The water park was busy, but not overwhelming. I think the best time to enjoy it is around 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., before the next wave of guests starts arriving. I booked the 6 person room which has 2 queen beds and a pullout sofa bed. pretty good size. This place is meant for young children, I would say 3-12 years old. Many MANY families. parking is an additional cost, even if you stay overnight at the hotel. wear the wristband on your left wrist so it's easier to reach the machine when entering/exiting. we sure used the in/out privilege to go out for dinner outside of GWL. Better food and prices outside. Expect higher costs inside the park for very basic food (burger, ice cream, fries, continental breakfast). Waterpark- -grab a chair EARLY in the morning. It's soo hard to find an open seat to even put your stuff. many chairs are regular low chairs (does not lean back), super crowded and close together with strangers. -It's super packed in the waterpark! Wave pool and lazy river have just too many people bumping into each other. Spent only minimal time in there and had to get out. not enjoyable. -Slides are fun! My family & I just came back to this location & it was a much better experience. We stayed on a Tuesday night & it was way less crowded. We booked a double room kids cabin with bunks & 2 adjoining rooms. Upon check-in I made sure to kindly ask that we were not placed in the same rooms as our last visit (we got terrible sleep due to employee noise outside our windows last time) the team member at check in told me that they in fact did have us booked to stay in the same rooms we didn't want, but she was able to change our rooms in the system which was appreciated. Our rooms faced the North side of the resort facing Daniels Street & they were nice & quite to sleep in (but quite a ways from the elevators.) The 2 days we spent in the park (Tuesday & Wednesday) were awesome. The only slides that had any wait times were the big family 5 seater slides & we never waited more than 5 minutes (last trip in summer they were a 45 minute wait ) All the other slides had absolutely no wait & we could ride 10x in a row with no wait. The parking lot was only about 25% full so there was parking everywhere. Our kids had such a fun trip this time & we'll definitely be back. Our kids loved the gold panning experience right by the water park entrance, we bought 2 of the family size bags of pay dirt like $35 each & our kids found tons of cool gemstones, rocks, fossils, & shark teeth. The only downside to our trip was like the last 2 hours we were there there was a code brown (a kid pooped in the water) so the lazy river & the connected slides were shutdown for a while. We celebrated my daughter's birthday at Great Wolf Lodge and it turned out to be one of those experiences the kids will talk about for a long time. We booked the deluxe cabin suite, which was perfect for a birthday sleepover -- bunk beds everywhere, tons of space, and the kids immediately felt like they were on a mini adventure. Having her two best friends stay the night made it extra special, and the layout worked really well for both kids and adults to have their own space without feeling crowded. The water park itself was a huge hit. There's enough variety that everyone found something they loved, from the bigger slides to the wave pool and all the smaller play areas. The kids basically ran nonstop the entire time, which is exactly what you want as a parent. One of the BEST decisions we made was renting a cabana. Total game changer. Having a dedicated space to regroup, stash belongings, relax for a few minutes, and not fight for chairs made the whole day so much more enjoyable. If you're going for a full day, I highly recommend it. We also had dinner at the restaurant onsite and were pleasantly surprised -- the half chicken was actually really good and a great option after a long day in the water park when nobody wants to leave the property. Service was friendly and patient with our very excited crew. And the nighttime dance party? Absolute chaos in the best way. So fun, so high-energy, and honestly one of those core memory moments watching the kids completely in their element. Been here 3 times already on various holiday weekends. Came here for Memorial Day weekend and it was probably our best experience so far. I came with my parents and 2 kiddos (5 yo and 1 yo). My baby loves the fruits. Overall resort is clean and feels relatively safe. It's not unusual to see kids wandering around alone and lots of parents around keep watchful eyes out. It's definitely a resort more for the kids, so bring your inner child. The magiquest game is so cheesy, but my kiddo and husband enjoy it. Lots of kids play it, so you'll feel like you're missing out if you don't. We always end up doing more activities than we initially plan, so next time we'll probably look into trying one of the bundle discount passes. Personally my favorite part is that the water park is indoors. You don't have to cross your fingers for good weather and you don't have to wear sunscreen. What an amazing vacation for the kids and while family! We stayed for 2 days and had non stop action. The only downside to GWL is check in. We waited for about an hour in line to check it. They only had 2 staff members working with 3 different lines. It was very unorganized and disappointing seeing so many staff members walking by but no help to the front desk to check in their guests. Once we got through check in and received our room keys it was smooth sailing. We went during peak season, during the summertime (beginning of August) and it wasn't as crowded as I expected. We stayed from Wednesday through Friday. One of the conveniences was they can add your card to your wristband so you don't have to worry about bringing your purse or wallet. Overall we had a great visit, the food was good we had the pizza, chicken strips and chicken sandwiches all from the resort. They were made fresh nice and hot. The total trip cost us about 1k for a family of 4. (2 kids 2 adults) also, if you're buying the adventure pass then no need for the wolf passes but if you get the wolf passes no need for the adventure pass. I just can't do this location a higher rating I want to and I would but yeah second time it just seems like a customer service won't change alarming when it starts from the top when the manager on duty the blind lady, I didn't get her name forgive me. There does not have the customer service. You really can't expect much from staff elsewhere and unfortunately, it's the same in the food department where you would get your hamburger or chicken I don't know why it customer service is an issue here I limit time to the food. People walk past us not standing there or have no questions. I want to say I'll be with you in one minute. Nothing like that. I just speak to a supervisor in the phone in African-American girl did tell me it was something they were working on, so apparently at least she's aware of this year. I've always said it's OK to smile and be nice especially at a place like this. I highly suggest the Anaheim California location in my opinion that's where people should be trained. That's how I park should be and finally it's worth noting particularly in the pizza department. Well, you can sit down with your family and eat so when you go up the front to receive your piece, everything is so dirty handprints and layer of dust. Yeah that's right. A layer of dust. I would've took a picture, but yeah they're right there in front of me so I feel like I shouldn't take the picture but I assure you it'll be there yeah well I think I've said enough. This is a great place for the kids! I have a 4 and 7 year old and both had a lot of fun. They really enjoyed the water park and MagiQuest interactive adventure game. My 7 year old couldn't get enough of the MagiQuest game. We upgraded the magic wand which she really loved. Although it's an extra cost she enjoyed it. Highly recommended. Also the water park was fun. We enjoyed some drinks, food, and lazy river. I would recommend going early for good seating because it can get crowded around the good spots. Also it's worth going early the day of your arrival since them can give you your passes early. The basic rooms were ok. Next time we will try the themed rooms. The check in process wasn't as bad as mentioned in other reviews. Maybe they changed the process. Regardless, parents are ultimately responsible for those in their care but you always see some pretty young kids with little supervision. Since the majority of this is indoors, regardless of weather, you can still plan a visit. They have an outdoor area as well but it is not very large. I have only come during cooler months as I don't like the heat. Bowling alley, arcade, and adventure area but this is a double edged sword as it is costly and it adds up for a family. They have activities on site- keychain making, decorations with pipe cleaners and bells, PJ dance party (if you and your family are into that) Cons: Usually crowded on weekends and that means lines (for slides, food, and towels), lack of chairs for all. We arrived on Fri and Sat was way more crowded. I saw latecomers arrive only to find that all chairs were taken. Food is meh and okay at best. I decided to try the Pretzel & Hot Dog on a Stick restaurant on Saturday and they only had 2 employees working at 1pm and they were obviously overwhelmed and unable to keep up with the requests. My sandwich was messed up (requested no cheese and it still had cheese) and when I mentioned this, the employee stated she would have the one person cooking remake it and after about 10 minutes, I gave up. I asked for mini dogs as a substitution. The mini dogs were very bland and dough was underdone. Yuck. No thanks. Buckets had a longer line and wait time for food was even longer. Rooms are average and at least come with a sleeper sofa for larger parties. However, rooms should be furnished with a larger table to accommodate larger groups. It's only good for 2 (small table with 2 chairs). Staff were fine and parking lot was pretty full. For the price of a day pass, you are better off spending the night. Our first time here with the family was such a fun experience! The overall atmosphere is incredibly family-friendly. I took my girls to the children's events hosted in the lobby, and I honestly found myself enjoying my own inner child right alongside them. We absolutely loved the arts and crafts and the storytelling time. The room layout is also wonderful for families. Our room had a separate section for the kids featuring a bunk bed and a twin bed, which was beautifully split from the main bedroom area. It added such a nice, warm, and kid-friendly touch to our stay. The indoor water park itself is fantastic, though it did feel a bit musty and humid inside the pool area. Improved ventilation would definitely elevate the comfort level. During our visit, one of the toddler swimming areas (restricted to children under 40-45 inches) was closed. Unfortunately, my three-year-old was in that height range, so she missed out on the full experience there, though there were luckily other areas available for her to enjoy. The wave pool was great! I really appreciated that it wasn't too deep, which made it much easier and safer for someone of my height (4'11") to swim and wade around with my three-year-old daughter. Right next to the water park, the rest of the building has so much more to offer! They have amazing shops, fun obstacle courses, an awesome arcade, and great food options all conveniently located inside. It really keeps the kids entertained even when you're out of the water. The staff members were consistently friendly and attentive. On our way out in the morning, the housekeeping staff at every door warmly said good morning to us, which was such a sweet touch. In Sundays, restaurants serving warm food close at 9pm. The only restaurant open, Barnwood, closes at 10pm. No where on the app does it say kitchen closes at 9:30. I got there at 9:40 and waited 12 minutes in line to place a to go order. They served people ahead of me. When they got to me, they said the kitchen is closed. Both the restaurant manager and the general manager were apologetic, but offered no compensation. They basically said politely there is nothing they can do. We planned this trip on our kid's second week of Spring break and was hoping it would be quieter since we planned on going during the week. Easter weekend coming earlier this year I'm sure didn't help. We made the most of it. We booked a standard family suite for 3 nights. We added their breakfast club buffet for our time here and an unlimited eat and play package. The indoor Waterpark is included with your stay here. Our beds were comfortable, but the restrooms could use a vent and a deep clean about the shower itself. (See picture). I was emailed an offer to extend, bummed that when we tried calling the front desk. No one picked up and then we waited over 20 minutes to have an older lady working front desk that there was nothing left, so she's not sure why I got an email to extend. Room rates are cheaper when you book in advance or plan for longer stays, but overall we still spent a lot here. We should have just gone to Disneyland this time around. I like that it's convenient and they offer dining and booze on property, but like anywhere there's convenience; you pay the cost for that. We did everything we could possibly do with our kids here and they still spent most of their time at the arcade. The prizes and the ability to win more tickets were amazing. We were bummed our son wasn't more excited for the MagiQuest and the other activities offered on property. It was crowded everywhere we went here no matter what time of day it was. I recommend downloading their app to reserve tables, preorder food and drinks. We dined at their buffet for our breakfast club deal and they offered a little more than a continental breakfast with their omlet station. I made it a point to load up on protein and fiber. There weren't any employees that stuck out to me besides the gift shop ladies. They were actually friendly besides the guy that ran the buffet in the morning. Thank you. I have been to two other GWL from out of state when the kiddos were little decades ago; so I was excited to jump on the opportunity to stay at this newer location through a timeshare during Halloween, just over an hour drive without the 580 E traffic. Parking is $19 a day. The lobby was very nicely decorated, there was a dance activity for the kids which was loud. Check in was seamless, staff was very helpful. We even got complimentary "wolf ears" to wear. Aside from the waterpark which is open from 10am-8pm, there is a rope obstacle course (with harness) a small bowling alley and an arcade. There a places to eat inside which is very convenient, you can link a credit card to you electronic wrist band (which is also your door key, parking in and out swipe, and water park admission) to pay for any purchases within GWL. Even after checking out of the room, we could stay and enjoy the water park until it closes at 8pm (which we took advantage of). They do have an outside pool which appears to be closed for the season. The only thing I found frustrating was the low signal for mobile data plan, which seems to be an issue even outside of the park. They do have free internet to connect to, however will not work with my secure work laptop. Overall, great indoor waterpark, definitely a cool place for family with teens, tweens, kids, and for the young at heart folks. :) read more

We stayed one night at Great Wolf Lodge and overall had a decent experience, but there are definitely some concerns. The room itself was perfectly fine. clean, comfortable, and we had no complaints there. I actually loved that the room keys are on wristbands, which made things super convenient, especially with kids. Also, the sofa pulling out into an extra bed was a nice surprise. it basically gave us three beds in a two-bed room, which worked out great for our family. The dance party is such a great idea before kids hit the hay I do want to do that at home now thank you! That said, the biggest issue for me was the cleanliness of the water park areas. The floors throughout the park felt really dirty and could seriously use a deep clean or power wash. The bathrooms were also not well maintained.. when I went in, there was poop all over the toilet and floors in multiple stalls, and it stayed that way for a while. Even the stairs leading up to the slides and play structures were noticeably dirty. It honestly made me uncomfortable walking around barefoot, especially knowing people are walking in and out with shoes or water shoes that have been everywhere, including the bathrooms, and then tracking that back into the pool areas. I do want to give credit to the staff though watching them and they're clearly working hard and dealing with a lot on a daily basis, and I can imagine it's not easy to keep up with the volume of guests. However, the cleanliness factor is a big deal for me. Unfortunately, my daughter ended up getting sick the first day, and I can only assume it may have been from accidentally ingesting pool water. After reading other recent reviews mentioning similar experiences, it does raise concerns. As much as the kids loved it, I'm not sure we would return. The fun isn't worth the risk of getting sick. I read a lot of the reviews in the past ten days have been with kids being hospitalized or seriously ill. Pls pls pls make sure you bathe the kids and yourself asap. read more

Not the best experience. Our room had a sour smell to it, the mattress was dirty, and the water pool seemed relatively dirty as well.

This was our third time visiting Great Wolf Lodge, and our kids still never want to leave! This time, we tried the family climbing activity and bought the family climbing pass -- it worked out to be less than $10 per person for about 20 minutes of fun. It was a really great experience! The shops inside the hotel are reasonably priced, which was a nice surprise. The only downsides were that the water park felt a bit cramped and the check-in process took longer than expected. But overall, we were very happy with everything and had a great time! read more

First time at any Great Wolf Lodge and it was a good first experience. We were able to check into our suite early and Stacy and Lori at the front desk were gracious to extend our checkout time to accommodate a member of our party who needed more time to get down the hall to our room and back. The waterpark is great and the kids really enjoyed the slides and the lazy river and wave pool. They are sticklers about the towel return count so be careful not to lose them! Only downside which resulted in one star down is the water pressure in the walk in shower of our suite was really low so showering took a lot longer. The shower curtains are also too long so water splashes on the floor. The shower with a tub in the suite had much better water pressure so I'd recommend showering kids in there for ease. read more

The food was okay, but I felt it was a bit overpriced for what you get. That said, I understand higher prices are fairly common at resort restaurants. I had the half chicken, my husband ordered the steak, and both were just okay. My son really enjoyed the BBQ ribs, and we liked the fried shrimp appetizer. The atmosphere was nice and very family-friendly, which made for an enjoyable evening. Our server was attentive and provided great service throughout our meal. The hostess wasn't as welcoming as I expected and seemed like she might have been having an off night. Overall, we enjoyed our evening. I'm giving it 4 stars mainly because of the steep price compared to the quality of the food. While I think the prices could better match the food quality, the ambiance and attentive service still made it a pleasant dining experience. read more

I took my girlfriend my brother and my mom it was for her birthday we had alot of fun we got a groupon we stayed for just one night in the motel and had Waterpark passes for 2 days I researched ahead and found out Tuesday and Wednesday are there least busy so that's whe. We went the lines were very short so we got to go on the rides as many times as we wanted the food is very expensive the ice cream shop was well worth it is $15 for there family Sunday wich has 3 scoops of ice cream you pick the flavors sprinkles chocolate chips gummys Carmel hot chocolate I giant rice crispy treat a giant cookie and a couple small brownies whipped cream and cherries and u can sub any toppings out for different ones we had lunch at five guys wich was surprisingly empty and at night we had drinks at the bar they have out in the water park drinks were not to overpriced and they do not skimp on there alcohol all the staff was very friendly one thing I will say though is I think they should get a better ventilation system cause when u first walk in you are almost choked by the overpowering smell of chlorine and unfortunately the wave pool was shut down while we were there but we had a great time and would definitely go back. read more

We came to visit from Wednesday to Friday. It was medium crowded for most of the time - about 65% of the chairs in use. A good amount of activities for my 4 year old grand daughter who was just tall enough to go on the slides with inner tubes. Well maintained and lots of lifeguards - I give it 5 stars at least when it's not 100% filled. The hotel room isn't the fanciest I have stayed but the rooms are fairly large and well maintained. Plenty like towels and the housekeeping staff is very friendly. I have not been to any great wolf lodge before but was very impressed with the wolf theme that was carried out throughout the resort. There are a lot of activities included with your wrist band received as part of the room rate. All in all - a very good experience. read more

Horrible experience. Stay far away!! I called to cancel a room (297$) and was told I would be fully refunded by an agent. Come to find out it was a lie and they straight hang up or end the chat on you. The whole time I was fed wrong information and he would not give me the cancellation policy or my receipt invoice. They ignored every time. Right after the chat ended, they charged my card again the full amount. I did not receive any notice for this or receipt. I just so happened to check my bank account and that's how I found out they approved a transaction I wasn't even aware of on a booking that was paid for and canceled already. So then I called (1.5 hours) mins on the phone later and again they said one thing and did another. She said I would be getting both back but they still dive send a receipt or invoice. They tried to only pay back what they stole from me after I called it fraudulent because I didn't even know it was charged separately with no reason to be. They couldn't answer why it happened besides a mistake. Everyone was avoiding helping and instead backed up each other. I had proof of everything and demanded a true full refund but with much effort and no explanation. Do not go here. I had to fight for my money back. I talked to 3 different people and all lied saying I would get my money back but would not send a receipt for both transactions. They would not resolve with me due to ending chat or conversation without providing me a receipt. So I had my husband call after multiple attempts we were able to get our money back with a fight. They would have stolen 600$ if we didn't fight for it back. Absolutely crooks working here. read more

This place is a buffet of fun activities for your kids enjoyment! We've been here thrice in 12 months because my then 8 and now 9-year old son loves the experience. *Activities* The waterpark is the main activity. The kids enjoy the wave pool, the river, the splash pads, and the slides. The chlorine can smell a bit strong because it's enclosed indoors. They have outdoor pool but it's closed when we went there. Other than the water park, they also have a bunch of activities. My son loves the magic quest experience. It kept him busy outside pool hours. Next he enjoyed the mining experience. It's a mini gold rush experience for the kids. They also have arcade, bowling, rope courses, and mini golf. The Wolf pass is a good deal if you are staying for at least 2 nights because you get to do all of the activities. They have different interactive shows on the lobby across the day specially during busy days. The activities seem enjoyable for kids under 8. *Food* The hotel has different food choices and the prices are decent. You have the option to get the buffet breakfast that includes a good variety of family breakfast staples. If you like coffee and light breakfast, they have Dunkin Donuts. For other meals, they have pizza and chicken burger place. They also have a better dining option, they have the Barnwood. But they need reservations to guarantee a spot. They don't accept walk ins in our past two visits. But the third visit, we were able to book two dinners there for healthier food options (fish and salads). They have pool bar for the parents and they offer a good variety of standard and fun cocktails and drinks. *Rooms* The rooms are standard size. Because the guests swim, the bathrooms tend to have chlorine and air dried musty smell. Other than that, the whole room is decent. Prices vary depending on the season. Summer and school breaks, they tend to be between 300-400. But I heard they have $200 deals on off-peak seasons and weekdays. Parking is a challenge if you arrive midday of Saturdays. Fridays are easier if you plan a weekend trip. Not sure if my som would request another visit soon. But so far we've been enjoying it. read more

I would return if I was with kids 5-10 years old. Pros: we had a lot of fun. There is tons of parking. The hotel appeared clean and well-kept. There were activities available for kids and families all day long. The hotel room (we had a suite) was spacious and the bunk beds for kids were cute. The rooms had really good sound proofing; there were kids running in the hallway allllll night and we hardly heard it. The overall decor is immersive and cute. Magic quest took us a long time to complete. Lots of luggage carts are available everywhere. Cons: the water park is HOT and humid. It's super loud in every part of the hotel. Almost everything there costs extra (other than a few of the free events that go on throughout the day); ropes course, mining, water park, magic quest (pay for a wand + pay to play). Yea, the food isn't Michelin rated but you're in Manteca, chill. All the staff was solid. Mobile check in, straight to the slides. Lockers for $21 a day. Sounds like a lot but they were clutch. No need for a wallet, your wrist band is connected to your card so be careful. I thought it was gonna be a little ratchet. Wasn't too bad. Hella lifeguards. Only issue is some of the women need to be told not to wear two piece bathing suits. Also, solid bar in the water slide area. read more
