An ehhh kind of stay. I had to book last minute for a business trip. Unfortunately this meant I ended up with a room close to the elevator, on the second floor right above the outdoor patio area. It was very noisy and you can hear people talking outside and playing cornhole. The walls are kind of thin. I couldn't sleep very well, you can hear conversations clearly so I had to blast an extended white noise video on YouTube on the TV so I can sleep soundly. The bed is okay but not the best, it's too firm for my preference. I especially don't like how this hotel uses hooks and this weird pipe in lieu of a closet and drawers. Apparently it's specific to this hotel chain. It's very inconvienent for those who expect drawers. The sticker near the pipe with hangers advertised there was under the bed storage but there was clearly not??? It's just a metal box, no drawers or anything. I was extremely bummed out. The room comes with a microwave and a fridge, but no safe. The desk is right next to the AC unit so expect to get blasted with cold air when you try to work. The desk is also very tiny too. I liked how there's automatic lights as you walk into the room or the bathroom. The bathroom has a nice roomy shower with squeeze bottles for toiletries. I've never seen that before in a hotel! I'd like to see more hotels implement them. Breakfast was decent, there's an automatic pancake machine and your usual breakfast fares like cereals, oatmeal, eggs, sausage, etc. Coffee and tea is 24/7.

Bed bugs! Checked in late, got into my room on the 4th floor, unpacked, read a bedtime story and put my kid to sleep in his bed. Got into my bed and saw an adult bedbug on the pillow. Took the pillow into the bathroom, and got the bug wrapped up in a tissue, then went back and checked under my mattress where another adult bed bug was visible. By now I was freaking out. I went downstairs and told the lady at the front desk and she just nonchalantly says, "would you like another room?" It was so late that I decided to stay and got a new room. After checking the new room super thoroughly, I moved all of my stuff down, woke my kid and moved him too. I put all of my now possibly bug-ridden stuff in the shower in the new room. Spent the next day laundering all of my stuff. I asked the front desk how they could make it right since they ruined my whole day. They gave me some free soap for the laundry, but made me pay for coins for the machines. They refused to refund me or even give me a voucher or really anything. I dried everything on high heat for an hour each load and then bagged it all in heavy-duty trash bags. I threw my kid's $80 suitcase in the dumpster because I couldn't launder it. I got two bites on my back from my hour in the room, and both took a week to heal (bedbug bites take about a week, unlike mosquito bites which are 1-3 days). They said they have to wait for an expert to come verify. I was like, "there's a bud bug in the trash wrapped in a tissue!" but they didn't care. They kept saying wait for an expert and "our people didn't find anything". I asked multiple times to speak with a manager and they kept telling me they would get back to me but never did. After I left, they said they would contact me but never did. When I got home, I had to launder all of my stuff again out of caution, since I know what a nightmare bed bugs can be if they come home with you. I even called Hilton corporate and they said they would get in touch with Hilton Lathrop and get back to me but still haven't two weeks later. I'll never, ever come back.

First of all, do not believe the photos uploaded by Hilton. Hilton's photos show a spacious room interior, but it is nowhere near that large. The room is actually quite small. I'm not opposed to a functional room that makes good use of its space, especially for solo occupants who are just traveling for work, but the corners that Hilton has cut to squeeze in as many rooms into the building as possible come with a couple major drawbacks. First, the desk is incredibly small. This means that there's not a lot of room to move your legs underneath, which could affect your comfort depending on your height. Also, the desk is crammed right against the air conditioner so you will be subjected to blasts of cold air as you're trying to work. Second, there are no closets in the room. Some people may not use hotel storage spaces, but those that do will be sorely disappointed. Also, while there's a convenient shoe bench located under the TV, it's quite narrow and may be hard for bigger folks to use. Also, be warned that this hotel is located on a busy street next to a freeway entrance. It gets very loud with all of the freight trucks moving through, especially at night. Light sleepers such as myself may prefer another hotel location away from all of the traffic. On the plus side, the lobby is immaculately done. It looks very modern and hip with many comfortable chairs and lounging spaces. There's even a free pool table available for guest use. The fitness center is small, but adequate with its modest selection of free weights. The hotel staff is incredibly friendly!

Water station, saved 1955 bottles to date. Great counter.

This was a last minute hotel booking on the way back to So Cal. I started exploring the Hilton brand this year. I must say, this one stood out to be simple yet fun! I would stay here again if I pass through this area. Wish I had more time to enjoy the open space and plenty of sitting area inside and outside. Free breakfast was good and convenient for us to get on the road again.

After experiencing the Best Western Plus in Stockton, I wanted to stay in another city, so I chose the Tru by Hilton Lathrop and I'm glad I did! I didn't realize it was a brand new hotel but I was pleasantly pleased with everything this hotel had to offer. The area seemed safe, there's a couple gas stations in walking distance as well as: KFC/A&W, Jack in the box, McDonald's, Taco Bell, Popeyes, Denny's, a few other hotels and it's right by the freeway! Great location! The do not have a pool, but they do have a cute, modern lounge area with board games, a pool table, 3 personal cubicles & corn hole outside. As you go towards the elevator, the gym is to the right and there's a water bottle filling area along with the ice machine. It's a 4 floor hotel, the decor is bright & colorful. From the yellow and blue rocks at the entrance, to the colorful walls, it gave me modern retro vibes. The beds were comfortable. The pillows were too soft (bring your own as extra, if you prefer fuller pillows). The bathroom sink had hand soap & lotion dispensers that you squeeze to dispense product. The fresh lemon scent was just the right amount, not too overpowering. The shower had body wash, shampoo and conditioner, with the same dispenser & fresh lemon scent. They provide hot breakfast in the morning which included sausage links, eggs, cereal, oatmeal, English muffins and bagels. Due to COVID, you tell the employees what you want and they serve you. They provide trays so if you'd like to take it to your room, you're more than welcome to. Parking is a little tight as they share it with the Hampton Inn. Twice I came extremely late (due to softball games) but I always found a parking spot. But if you're driving a bigger vehicle, it may be harder for you to find a parking spot the later you arrive in the day. I made the reservation via the app, so you can definitely check in via the app. I had a brain fart and didn't check in via the app and I'm glad I didn't because there was mishap when I tried booking the night prior. I booked via the app, logged in obviously, I entered my AAA number and it said my reservation was confirmed. I didn't receive a confirmation number & nothing was emailed to me. So I booked again & finally received an email. I thought nothing of it, but it wasn't until I checked in that the front desk lady informed me that I had 2 reservations. I showed her my app and I only had one reservation, she then said cancelled the one I had no information for. Two days after checkout, I realized I was still charged for one night for the extra room. I called the hotel, explained my situation & the friendly lady said she'd email me if she were able to reverse the charges. She was able to & she emailed me letting me know. What a relief!!! The hotel was amazing but the customer service made this place 100% better! Would DEFINITELY stay here again, but I doubt I'm ever going back to Stockton lol

The lobby was fun for the kiddos to chill. Pool table and phone relaxing stations.

Awesome hotel for families! Rooms are small but clean and modern. Bathrooms are clean and are stocked with shampoo, cond, soap, lotion. Breakfast was your usual hot breakfast with cold options. Comp coffee and tea 24/7. Parking was tight and no parking on street.

Super clean hotel. It has been open for a month or two but you can really smell the new carpet and fresh paint. Room is kinda small but still very clean. Room comes with a refrigerator and microwave. Lots of resturants fast food and gas station within walking distance. No pool or pets allowed. Daily breakfast wich was so so. But coffe and tea avalaible 24\7 in the lobby.

Property is only a week new. I'd recommend this location as there are limited options in Lathrop area, since I had to work in Stockton; a 20 min drive. Great amenities, friendly staff, and beautiful design; the shampoos/soaps have a nice scent to them!

Drove down from Washington State to visit family and found this hotel at a great rate for a 2 Night/3 Day booking. Seemed like a newly built hotel with a modern feel and look. Amenities included were a complimentary Breakfast, a Fitness center and an outdoor Pool. We didn't get a chance to partake in any of those, so cannot leave any feedback for those. Decent service from the front desk staff, and workers from the housekeeping area. Parking is good, there are ample amount of spaces around the hotel building and close to I-5. Bad thing is, the water pressure in the shower is so frickin' low! Takes at least 20 minutes to fully feel like you've had a clean wash since you gotta wait a while to get all the soap off... Breakfast not so good, the eggs tasted like the liquid eggs from a box, the sausage wasn't cooked enough. The waffles were good but I'd rather have a good egg breakfast. The potatoes were greasy. I currently have OCD and I've had bed bugs from other hotels outside of Wyndham hotels so as I was checking the bed for any type of bed bugs I found that the mattress had blood stains or some sort of stains all over it which made me not feel to comfortable about sleeping in the bed so I slept on the couch instead ,also there was bugs found in the room the air conditioner did not stay on so made for a very hot night ,went to inform mark the nighttime staff and he said he would tell the manager who he said would be in at 10:30 the next morning,I did request more sheets but since the stains were close to my head I couldn't sleep in the bed ,when morning came I talked to Rachelle who informed me that the manager wouldn't be in for 3-4 days and to leave my number ,she seemed agitated and not understanding of the situation at all ,she kept saying they can't change out the mattresses everytime maybe once a year and said I must have kept the air on to low and that's why it kept shutting off ,I have never had that experience with any other air conditioner at any other hotel room and she said that the bug was just a pincher bug ,i did not like her making excuses for everything I told her ,i also asked for a paper receipt and was told it's in the email ,I contacted corporate, which told me since I booked through third-party (hotels.com)that I would have to reach out to them for any kind of refund or any type of action to be done , I will not be coming back to the Days Inn by Wyndham in Lathrop ca ever again ,if I could give them no stars I would .

I took my girls to the children's events hosted in the lobby, and I honestly found myself enjoying my own inner child right alongside them. We absolutely loved the arts and crafts and the storytelling time. The room layout is also wonderful for families. Our room had a separate section for the kids featuring a bunk bed and a twin bed, which was beautifully split from the main bedroom area. It added such a nice, warm, and kid-friendly touch to our stay. The indoor water park itself is fantastic, though it did feel a bit musty and humid inside the pool area. Improved ventilation would definitely elevate the comfort level. During our visit, one of the toddler swimming areas (restricted to children under 40-45 inches) was closed. Unfortunately, my three-year-old was in that height range, so she missed out on the full experience there, though there were luckily other areas available for her to enjoy. The wave pool was great! I really appreciated that it wasn't too deep, which made it much easier and safer for someone of my height (4'11") to swim and wade around with my three-year-old daughter. Right next to the water park, the rest of the building has so much more to offer! They have amazing shops, fun obstacle courses, an awesome arcade, and great food options all conveniently located inside. It really keeps the kids entertained even when you're out of the water. The staff members were consistently friendly and attentive. On our way out in the morning, the housekeeping staff at every door warmly said good morning to us, which was such a sweet touch. I didn't carry my phone with me during our water park session to take photos, but the memories were worth it. This is definitely a place we would love to return to and make a family tradition moving forward! Rate: 8/10

Prices were actually reasonable, so we booked Sunday-Tuesday. Check-in lines were long, but the self-serve kiosk was quick and easy. We got wristbands for the room and water park and headed straight to the pool. It was packed Sunday around 5 p.m., which was expected, so we stayed a couple hours and went back to the room. Food inside the hotel was either closed or overpriced, but the location is great--about 0.5 miles from Panda Express, Chili's, Costco, La Estrella (amazing Mexican food), and more. We ate at Chili's. Parking is $20/day. You can use the water park from check-in day through checkout, which is awesome. My 11-year-old loved the Howlers Peak Ropes Course. My 7-year-old and I tried it, but he got scared at the top--staff helped him down right away. I don't blame him, it's high! I only did the first level, but my 11-year-old did the second level three times. My 7-year-old also loved the arcade. Most attractions cost extra, but there are decent deals. The only ones I wouldn't do again are mini golf and bowling--they're very small and just okay. We had the unlimited family pass, so we used them anyway. Best part: the slides! I'm 32 and my husband is 34, and we had just as much fun as the kids. Big or small, all the slides were a blast. Honestly, one of our favorite family vacations. The room (Grizzly Suite) was clean and spacious for 3 adults and 2 kids. Beds weren't super comfortable, but that's typical. Cleanliness mattered most. Checkout was easy via text, but double-check your bill--they tried to charge us $60 for "missing" towels we returned. A quick call got it refunded, but I can see how others might miss that. Overall, we'll likely be back within the next year.
