I stopped by after walking a loop around Castaway Park since it's conveniently within walking distance. I probably wouldn't recommend trying to park in the plaza, though--the parking is very limited. I ordered a regular matcha latte with almond milk and was pleasantly surprised that it was $6.50, especially since many places are charging over $7 now. I placed a mobile pickup order after being warned by some friends that the line and crowd can get pretty bad, especially on weekends. I do wish I had timed my order a bit later into my walk, as my drink ended up a little watered down and the matcha flavor wasn't as pronounced. Parking is awful, I wouldn't frequent this spot just because of the parking situation. Getting coffee should be a relaxing experience imo. Felt employees were friendly, despite other reviews. Started my morning here with family for a caffeine boost and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the berry matcha, which comes with oat milk by default, and really enjoyed it. The sweetness was perfectly balanced and the berry flavor didn't overpower the drink. The matcha quality itself was just okay, the drink as a whole came together well. I'd give it a solid 7.5/10. This place is always packed to the brim! The line usually goes pretty quickly though. All the drinks I have tried here have been really really good. Like so good I always want a second one. My favorite drink is their Strawberry Alarm Clock, which is just a strawberry latte. I would recommend it full sweet if you want the full strawberry flavor. I usually get my lattes half sweet, but this one tastes better full; the strawberry flavor gets diluted when it's half sweet. Their breakfast burrito is decent for a quick breakfast as well. The main downside of this place is the size. It's tiny and cramped and there are always so many people waiting for their drinks, that they crowd all the tables inside. I have to agree with the review from a few days ago. People try to cut the line. Two times a group tried to cut us in line. Be aware! This is no cozy relaxing coffee shop! I wasn't feeling the place until I took a sip of my drink. Entire thing was infused with strawberry, not just the cold foam. I needed some big fueling for a long row session out in Newport. I stopped at Kit and grabbed a latte and a breakfast burrito with bacon. The latte is pretty standard and satisfying. The burrito was a surprised. It was loaded with bacon throughout and they toasted it so the tortilla was crispy making it a panini style burrito. Parking: there is a parking located in the plaza. There are many available parking spaces including some directly in front of the store. Just beware to not park in the stalls that are marked as reserved. Parking here is easier and more convenient than Irvine location. It wasn't earthy or grassy (maybe try somewhere else if you prefer grassier matcha). I also thought original was great but I liked it even more when I asked for less sweet! Triple Single Matcha Latte (9/10)- matcha latte topped with strawberry cream topping. Again, matcha was so creamy and flavorful. I like that they have a wide variety of food options along with their drink menu (coffees, teas, etc.) customer service is always super friendly and there's lots of indoor and outdoor seating (with some shade and non shaded areas). Restaurant aesthetic is super clean and simple and they do also have some cute cards available for purchase. The only downfall I've noticed when both eating in person and moreso takeout is on the weekends this place will get absolutely packed and the order ready times are often not accurate as they are so backed up with orders (especially on nice days). Has great flavor and the little chunks at the bottom of the drink are like little boba pieces that are so good! People are always great and sweet but you can definitely tell they are quite busy and non-stop with their orders. Place has a cool vibe but again is usually packed with people working or studying. Go to spot if you like the noisy, on the go vibe! Do not get the food too often, but tried out the toast with some bacon added and was pretty solid choice. This place rocks! It's tucked away on the side of a larger building, and parking is a little confusing but well worth it! There's a fair amount of seating (both indoor and outdoor), but I could imagine having a hard time finding a seat during peak hours.
