Came in a while ago and asked if they carried Nature's Logic a while ago as I was waiting for food…read moreat Zippy's next door. (Great burgers ) The employee I spoke with last time was very nice and wasn't sure so she called her boss and said yes they could do that so I mentally noted I could get it here for later and moved along. Don't remember the girls name then, except she had those catty glasses, very helpful and cheerful. Not this time. I go in to order the food I wanted. I came in spoke very clearly and said I needed to make an order and the girl at the counter (springy red hair) seemed displeased and began typing on her computer. She asked what food I needed and once again clearly speaking I said Nature's Logic Sardine and I need a 20 or 25 lb bag. She said oh we don't carry that so I explained what I was told last time I was here so she said ok let me text me boss but I'm not sure when I'll get back to you. Cool. TEXT..? Like who does that professionally? I will not return. Get your employees to take care of business! One star for this visit. A second star is given for the effort, efficiency and quickness to obtain information from the last visit: whoever you were you knew how to get things done.

I'm so happy that A Dog's Dream has a second location in White Center. I've been to their location…read morein Georgetown many times, but the White Center location actually has a parking lot (hooray!) and it's next to Zippy's Burgers (bonus!). Some of the other things I love about the White Center location: + it's larger, so it has more products and greater selection + the DIY dog wash area has a door that closes so your pooch can't run off + the DIY dog wash tub is a new metal tub with a sliding door (I love the vintage tub in the Georgetown shop too, but the new tub feels a little easier to work with) + everyone is so friendly and helpful, especially Jen! Hot tips: Bring your leashed doggo with you for lots of love and attention and treats (duh). Washes are cheaper on Wash Wednesdays! Also, they'll take an adorable Polaroid of your pupper to display on the wall.

My son gave me a Samoyed dog a year ago when he moved out. In the past he took the dog (Nova) to…read morethe groomer every now and then somewhere in Puyallup. Well now Nova is my responsibility. I was not going to bring her to Puyallup from Burien so I looked for another groomer. I went to Pet Smart in Burien. They schedule Nova for the following Friday (today 3/27/2026) at 2:30. They knew the type of dog because they asked the questions. They quoted $90 - $120. Got home, called the son asked him what he had paid in the past, he said about $200. Today I arrive at Pet Smart at 2:25. They take one look at Nova and say this will take about 5 hours, we don't have enough time cause they over booked and they are closing today at 6:00, because they are having their floors redone. Sounds like bullshit. If your quote was low just say so I would have gladly paid more. It is a lot of work and I am willing to pay or you could have got it started and schedule another day to finish the job. So since they did not call to tell me they overbooked (bullshit) and they proved to be unreliable I went to The Wash Dog in White Center. I had the Nova with me and they booked me for this coming Tuesday and are charging $275 + the tip that I will give. These employees at The Wash Dog actually seemed to care more, but I guess when you are a small business you probably try to provide better customer service then a big box store. I highly recommend you pass on Pet Smart and try The Wash Dog in White Center. I will let you all know how it went and post a picture of The Wash Dog results, next week.

We always use Michelle and she is INCREDIBLE with our two Long Hair Chihuahuas and has excellent grooming skills. She is always attentive to our needs and listens to us in knowing what kind of cuts we want for our dogs. They always come out smelling good and looking great! Five stars for Michelle! The staff there is always friendly and kind and getting an appointment is not too hard. The customer service has been excellent. In the summer time, there can be longer wait times. We have never had any problems, and I highly recommend the Burien Petsmart for grooming, and get Michelle if you can!

Brought my Newfoundland here in November. They did a fine job on her. Not as good of a job as our…read moreregular groomer, and my dog was returned to me slightly damp, but Happy Doggy is a few blocks down the street from us so it was convenient and I thought I'd give them a try. One thing I noticed and didn't like was that when I went to pick her up, the groomer let my dog walk from the (I assume) kennel area at the back of the building, all the way to the front of the building, past other dogs on grooming tables, without my dog being on her leash. And then when the groomer and my dog got to the double gate that separates the grooming area from the front of the store, the groomer left my dog - now unattended *and* without a leash - at gate while the groomer walked to the back of the store, and then came back. They could have opened the first of the double gates to contain her, or put her on her leash (ideally *before* walking past all the other dogs) and then handed the leash to me. But no, they just left her unattended with no leash in an area with other dogs, on the other side of the double gates away from me. My dog is sweet and usually fine but is not 100% reliably good with small dogs (and with any dog - there's no guarantee that all dogs will get along with all other dogs at all times; That's why we leash and supervise them.), and I was nervous because there was a small dog on the grooming table next to her while she was unattended. This is a safety issue. My dog ignored that dog and nothing happened, but it was woefully negligent of the groomer. And like I said above, she was retuned to me slightly damp. Not a huge deal for her, not ideal, but meh. Cost was $155 before tip. My dog's previous full groom (with a different grooming business) had been the prior August, and she had had a full brush-out (no bath) in June, 5 months before I brought her to Happy Doggy. I recently brought my dog back for a scheduled groom at Happy Doggy in March. I received a text two days before her appointment saying they did not have my dog's rabies vaccine on file. That was weird, because they should have had it on file from her groom in November. When we arrived they said they had found it, but still, it seemed like they were disorganized with their vaccine records. I had scheduled for the same groom as we had done in November. It wasn't until I and my dog were physically in the store and checked in, that one of the groomers came up to us and told us that because it had been over six months since my dog's previous groom (It hadn't been over 6 months, it had been 4), that it would be "at least $400-500" for this groom. Imo a price discrepancy like that needs to be noted at the time of schedule. I'm sure they saw on my face that that wasn't what I expected. They asked if I needed to reschedule, and I decided to reschedule with the intention to later cancel, frankly to avoid any cancelation fees, because a business that jumps their groom price from $155 to $400-500+ in 4 months, seems like the kind of place that would slap a cancelation fee on a client who needs to cancel same-day because if their ridiculous price jump. The non-transparent pricing alone is reason enough for us to never come back. Letting my dog walk from the back to front of the store off leash and then leaving her unattended, already had me questioning this business anyway, so it's probably for the best that we go back to our previous groomer or seek other options, anyway.
