I've tried all kinds of boots and grip socks for our Chihuahua Corgi mix, and they all would fall off immediately because of his slender paws -- we finally found grip socks that work here!! Now we can protect his paws from the hot summer pavement. Another impulse buy was a cool, half-sphere licky mat that I've never seen at the big box stores. You can tell that the selection is carefully curated with quality products. The focus on local and sustainable merchandise is wonderful too. If they carried Honest Kitchen dog food, I wouldn't even need to go to Mud Bay any more!! Plenty of street parking in this area. Store is clean, well-lit, and very organized. (Great burgers ) The employee I spoke with last time was very nice and wasn't sure so she called her boss and said yes they could do that so I mentally noted I could get it here for later and moved along. Don't remember the girls name then, except she had those catty glasses, very helpful and cheerful. Not this time. I go in to order the food I wanted. I came in spoke very clearly and said I needed to make an order and the girl at the counter (springy red hair) seemed displeased and began typing on her computer. She asked what food I needed and once again clearly speaking I said Nature's Logic Sardine and I need a 20 or 25 lb bag. She said oh we don't carry that so I explained what I was told last time I was here so she said ok let me text me boss but I'm not sure when I'll get back to you. Cool. TEXT..? Like who does that professionally? I will not return. Get your employees to take care of business! One star for this visit. A second star is given for the effort, efficiency and quickness to obtain information from the last visit: whoever you were you knew how to get things done.

I'm so happy that A Dog's Dream has a second location in White Center. I've been to their location…read morein Georgetown many times, but the White Center location actually has a parking lot (hooray!) and it's next to Zippy's Burgers (bonus!). Some of the other things I love about the White Center location: + it's larger, so it has more products and greater selection + the DIY dog wash area has a door that closes so your pooch can't run off + the DIY dog wash tub is a new metal tub with a sliding door (I love the vintage tub in the Georgetown shop too, but the new tub feels a little easier to work with) + everyone is so friendly and helpful, especially Jen! Hot tips: Bring your leashed doggo with you for lots of love and attention and treats (duh). Washes are cheaper on Wash Wednesdays! Also, they'll take an adorable Polaroid of your pupper to display on the wall.

I have a French bulldog who tends to be skittish around people, but the folks at all the best have always made him feel comfortable by giving him treats and talking to him. I just wanted to thank Joshua for having such a calm demeanor and being patient with my skittish puppy.

The manager is always so nice to us and gives us great offers and coupons and such. We buy the wash punch card deal to get a better deal on washes. They are always willing to help, and are great at helping us find what we need and making sure the baths are ready to use. The store is independently owned and operated. It's a franchise. I highly recommend Pet Supplies Plus. It's one of the best pet stores in the West Seattle area and is run very efficiently.

We visited Ideal Pet Stop while we were in the area, to get treats for our dog. The Ideal Pet Stop…read moreseems to serve mostly those in the Seward Park neighborhood, as it's one of the main businesses in the area. We walked inside and there was one employee working and stocking shelves. The place is untidy and disorganized. There were a lot of boxes of products that were all around the walkways of all of the aisles, needing to be shelved. With that said, it wasn't the best or safest place to walk around in since items needed to be off the floor and on to shelves. They do offer great products here though for pets. Lots of different options for food, treats, hygiene products, car seats, etc... They also sell mice inside. We were able to get some free samples for our dog, but we did notice that the prices here are much higher for the same product that's sold at our pet store in Bellevue. I also noticed that in addition to pet supplies, they sell some home basics like toilet paper, milk, soaps, etc... Again, it seems to serve the local neighborhood partly as a convenience store. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back to Ideal Pet Stop, but it's nice to know this neighborhood can come here for its pet needs and perhaps more.

He's been sent home so many times by other groomers, we've lost count. However, Yang is THE dog whisperer! Not only did he not get sent home without getting groomed, but he did not snap at Yang! We were shocked & thought it was a fluke. We continued to bring him to Yang and each time he comes home looking amazing! We've been taking him to Yang since 2023, before he opened his own shop. One day, we tried to schedule an appointment with him at the pet shop Yang was working at but they said he left. We were devastated! I tried grooming him myself and let's just say, thank goodness it was winter so, he needed a jacket when he left the house to play with his friends at the park. Haha... Luckily, Yang's groomer buddy reached out to us with Yang's info regarding his new Happy Doggy grooming shop. I was ecstatic! I literally dropped everything I was doing and called him immediately. His schedule was pretty booked but was able to get us in within a week. When I went to pick him up today, of course, Yang never disappoints, my lil Mochi looked perfect! Again, Yang is an amazing groomer! If I can give him 10 stars. I would! We've referred all our friends to him. You should definitely bring your fur babies to him, too!
