She walked me through her daily routine, and schedule and made sure to note any special diet, exercise restrictions or special needs of Rocco when we had our first stay. Rocco just loves Mike - I think they have a special bond since he is so happy to be dropped off there without a care in the world that I'm heading back out of town. Not only do they truly love my dog, but they take great care of them with daily walks, lots of love and attention and making sure all of his special needs are being met. Bulldogs are a bit high maintenance, with allergies, and sking/breathing problems that I really wanted to find someone that listened to my special instructions, and gave me frequent updates while I was traveling how my baby was doing. Katherine even went above and beyond and picked up a harness for Rocco so that he could enjoy walks without struggling with a standard collar that can be uncomfortable. He just loves his harness - because now he knows when I put it on that he gets to go on a fun walk with his doggie friends!!! I have had to ask them to watch Rocco on short notice and they are always very good about accommodating my needs as best they can. They only take a few dogs into their home at a time in order to ensure each dog gets personal time, care and attention. The doggies even get their own comfy beds, and doggies suites in their home to share. The house is very clean and doggie friendly and I don't have to worry about Rocco getting into something, or hurting himself while I'm traveling. Anna and Emma were great with hanging out with them and making sure everything was ok. However, we had some issues when David visited our cats during our most recent trip. Maybe the behavior I'm describing below doesn't bother you and in that case I would recommend you to use their service. Though I think it is important for us to share our experience. We saw on our camera (which we told them about) that David found a box of nuts in our kitchen and ate some from it every time he was there. I couldn't care less about the value of the nuts but the lack of boundary really bothered me. This made us lose trust in him and wonder what he could be doing in our house when we are not around. It is a shame but because of this, we will not be booking any service from Bellevue Pet Sitters anymore.

Why would you put your dog at a kennel type place if you have or had this option. My dog is practically like family to Cindy now. It's honestly invaluable what she provides. My dog is never in a crate, and gets to hang with Cindy and her family, go out back and check out the chickens and other animals, he's not locked up in a cage for 20 of 24 hours a day. I get the overnight kennel places probably not having the man power to pay one on one attention to those dogs, but it's just that your dog is going from free reign of your own home to being in a kennel for hours at a time. It's a huge adjustment and difference. With Cindy, they're going from your home, to a home. She gives you updates too on how your dog is doing and sometimes even sends off photos too. I recommend Cindy to any & everyone who's in need for a dog sitter.

Cindy even stayed in Sacramento for several hours until I could get there. Cindy made it possible for my beloved Murray to get the best medical care and I am forever grateful. She sent me a video of Murray, which I cherish. Thank you, Cindy, your kindness, generosity of spirit and integrity are treasures; thank you for caring about my Murray as if she were your own.

I used her a few years ago and…read morewhen I returned from my trip, my neighbors told me she had people at my house a few times while I was gone. She never had permission to have anyone in my home with my animals. Total violation of my trust, privacy and the safety of my pets and home. Then she left us a nasty note because we didn't have cable. She also posted on her public Facebook page that she was leaving my home for several hours, gave my first name and town (not hard for a crook to look up!). While at my house she once told me she was late getting back to another house where she was caring for dogs and that they would have gone to the bathroom in the house by that time. It is very stressful for dogs to have to soil their home - I wonder if those owners knew. And when I had her come to let my dogs out once during the day, I came home to find vomit full of dirt all over. I had told her not to leave my dogs outside alone for even a moment. She tried to tell me that my dog started eating dirt (sometimes she did this at certain times of the year and Debbie had been informed) and she ran inside and got cookies to get her to stop. There's no way my dog ate that much dirt in such a short period of time. When I turned on the tv that night, the tv was messed up (she'd screwed up the remote) so it was obvious what she was doing while she was supposed to be outside with my dogs. After those 2 negative experiences, I never called her again and would NEVER trust my animals or my home to this woman again! Now I also have cameras everywhere but if you want to take a chance with this person, be sure you have a camera so you know what is happening in your house with your pets.
