Yes it's expensive and yes the service isn't great, but it has a bunch of different options and it's good for browsing for sure. It was a floor model, as ordering would have taken several weeks/months. We hired an electrician to install our fixtures (Elaine's couldn't offer install on our high ceiling fans). Blake offered a reorder but that would have cost us more $ for the electrician to come out multiple times. I suggested our electrician could solder the piece back on or I could but I'd need to buy would need to buy a solder kit. I emailed and asked Blake if Elaine's would offer us a STORE CREDIT of $100-200 for our trouble and to mitigate some of our extra expense due to the chandelier arriving damaged. Blake responded that I could have 10% off a future purchase. I do not recommend Elaine's. The chandelier arrived damaged. We had to incur the costs of having it fixed. When I offered a very reasonable customer service solution, it was denied. The items can be found at other establishments, some for less expensive. This was a disappointing experience, especially based on how many fixtures we purchased.

I asked for an estimate to install a Tesla Charger, Generator Inlet, and whole home surge protector, thats all. I told them I was competitively bidding the work and this is what they gave me. BTW, I was able to get three competitive quotes for this work that were all in the $1,900 - $2,300 range, so it really was just this company being way out of line with the rest of the market. Then he tried to use scare tactics to get me to do things like spend $10k to replace all my outlets and light switches since the house was built in 2005. He also wanted me to sign a document after receiving the estimate that had not-so-fine print that removed all liability for their work if I didn't do all the upgrades they suggested, including the $10k for replace all the outlets in my house. After I reminded the estimator three times that I was competitively bidding this work and that $23k for all these unnecessary items would not be winning him the job, he pushed for the $23k option again and began telling me about their low financing options. I asked him to leave at that point. I cant imagine how many elderly people or widows are taken advantage of by these types of scare and pressure tactics.

Manny guided us through the entire process, explaining everything from the manufacturer details and the differences in mattress textures and materials to the design, benefits, and product warranty. We knew right away we were dealing with a true professional; he gave us the confidence to go ahead with the purchase. The credit was approved, and the order was placed with an estimated delivery time of just three days. That day, my father was carrying his wallet in an elastic waist pouch, but he was holding it in his hand. When we got home and couldn't find it after three hours of searching, we realized the only other place we'd been was the American Furniture store, so we went back to see if anyone had turned it in at the front desk. Unfortunately, no one had turned anything in, but Manny stepped up to help us again. He checked the security footage, which showed my father walking toward the car with the pouch--confirming that it must be back at the house. After searching more carefully--and now hopeful that it wasn't lost, just misplaced--we finally found it. Most things do but things do, but like 10-15% of things with a lot of pieces have a warning "customer asssembly required" warning on office desks and kids stuff. Very annoying. Selection overall is pretty good; but their delivery also doesn't remove or move old furniture like their competitors. Financing I haven't checked out.
