What amazing bread and baked goods!! With all transparency, I didn't physically visit this awesome spot but I can personally say that their baked goods are fabulous!! Guests came over who had just come from Kingston's and they brought croissants, an entire loaf of sourdough bread and more. Everything was extremely fresh and basically we all devoured everything!! All were fresh hours later and we literally wanted more. A must try if and when in the area!!

Excellent!! I would return just to get a nice fresh chewy bagel again. This place is a hotspot in the area. Line got long soon after we arrived. They have to-go libations too!! Open area with large high top tables for fam and friends to gobble down delights. They have vegan options so my vegan cream cheese with smoked salmon and salt bagel it the whole spot!! My wife had a traditional breakfast sandwich with eggs and bacon on a bagel which was superb! Go and go again. Highly recommended!

If you haven't been to Kingston Bread + Bar yet you are missing out. Upon walking in the front door, you are instantly transported to a cafe in lower Manhattan or Brooklyn in the best way possible (beanies included). Honestly, probably the best baked products locally. The bread is crusty like it should be. The house made rolls are soft for the sandwiches and the pastries flakey. Coffee is great and safe to say the same as Rough Draft (same owners). This breakfast sandwich with pastrami and a latka on board is next level delicious. Pistachio baklava pinwheels and almond croissants for all. Intriguing Za'atar and Mumbai bagel flavors with whitefish salad. They are closing those doors by the end of year and moving, but haven't announced where to yet. So get your sourdough before it's gone. Above Photography https://www.instagram.com/b.overly_delicious/-- in Kingston.

    Sunday Liquid Sun: (Mimosa)

Kingston Bread+Bar on Front St. seems like it's consistently busy and packed the few times hubs and I have walked past. So it was finally worth coming here on a Sunday for Brunch and checking out the hype. Indoor design has an industrial-ish style, light cream color walls+white subway tiles, metal stools, varied hi-tops in a designated 'laptop' area, standard tables, bar seating, and window stool accommodations. Take your pick. Kingston B+B's offerings could probably save my life on a hangover and sort me out in seconds- but it's also fab on several other accounts. The menu has beverages, charcuterie+cheeses+ sandwiches, booze, etc- you won't go wrong. And, the folks make their own bread. The energy is super relax and it's a chilled-out cafe. After all, it's Kingston. Kingston B+B is renowned for bread and among other things. My 'Zay Zay' Smoked Salmon open bagel sandwich was heaven. The bagel has a light crisp on top and chewy inside- not the gummy-sticky type. Comforting and fantastic. Hubs liked his go-to BEC. Mimosa's needed a few more splashes of bubbly to make them pop. Other than that, expect great service here as the staff seem to love their job and I personally always find it makes a difference.

Ruben done right! No soggy bread!

This place is legit! Food is great! Ruben was not soggy and on house made rye! 4.5 out of 5. In da club was stacked high and had great flavor! 4 out of 5. The hot cider with bourbon was spot on 5 out of 5. Service was good. You order at the counter then find a seat if available. Service is fast. 4 out of 5. The inside is cute and small. Not much seating especially on a busy day. I'm looking forward to getting more breads from here and trying other menu items.

Really love this place! Our first time getting lunch and the sandwich did not disappoint. Amazing bread of course! Cheddar and ricotta was a great combo.

Delicious milk bread sandos -- we got the housemade corned beef and the smoked salmon and cream cheese, both of which were delectable! The moment you sink your teeth on these, you're thinking oh yeah, so glad I got this, it's that good and filling! We also got a yummy pumpkin spice latte made with housemade syrup as well as a smooth cortado. Come early. This place gets packed! I'm docking 1 star for the bathroom situation. After we were done eating, my mom needed to use the restroom, but was stopped by a female employee -- didn't catch her name, but she had short dirty blond/strawberry blond hair -- she told my mom someone was in there even though my mom had just seen someone leave the bathroom. So she waited of course until this employee told her she could go. My mom came back and told me there's only one bathroom in the back for all genders. When I tried to use the restroom, this same female employee told me someone was in the bathroom, which was a flat out lie as my mom literally had just come out of it. The employee didn't know my mom and I were related. So the employee told me, "Oh it's open now. You can go." When I asked her if there was a code or anything I needed for the bathroom, she said, and I quote, "Oh no, I ALREADY PUT THE CODE IN FOR YOU. YOU'RE GOOD." When I reached the bathroom, there was no place anywhere to punch in a code. In fact, the bathroom had a sliding door with a hook to latch on in order to securely lock the door in place. Why she said there was a code, I've no idea, but obviously this was a blatant lie. WHY was she being "bathroom police"? We were still customers at the time of use. She was even blocking the pathway from cash register to the point where you needed to pass to get to the bathroom. I understand no public restrooms to non-patrons, but hello, we were clearly customers who had sat and dined on breakfast sandos and coffee. If they don't want you to use the restroom, then put up a sign and make that clear. Otherwise, that female employee needs to take a chill pill.

Food was alright, staff was friendly. Would have tried a cookie but a grilled cheese, fries and a an iced chai latte was already pushing $20. Could have been better for the cost. Curious about the no laptop policy when everyone in there was on their phones anyway.

I woke up today anxious and covered in sweat the way I normally do. I decided I wanted coffee, breakfast, and to see Brett so I made a trip here. It was my first time here and the place was beautiful. I didn't know they had beer so I decided to get beer. Then I kept doing that for a couple hours. I'm depressed and the beer selection is fantastic. I got two sandwiches to go and I just ate them in bed and they were delicious. I love it!

I'm giving them an extra star. They seem to have found their footing and the last few times I've visited they have been more consistent. Their croissants and baked goods are the best in the area and believe me I've tried them all. I make the 30 minute drive here even though I have a new Artisanal bakery only five minutes away. But KBB is better. Their breads especially- they have the best naturally leavened breads around. Their baguette, upstate Levain and buckwheat and einkorn rounds only available on weekends are my favorite. I also love that the sell top quality French butter from Normandy, which is obviously the best pairing for their breads! They have also been able to improve and keep up on their ordering system, so I am able to place an online order and pick up the next day easily. Will continue to buy their breads and pastries!

"Hey this 9 dollar loaf of bread, can you slice it"? Wait what? Did they just say "no because it's too humid out today"? "Nope just stop talking. The pure audacity of the matter of fact attitude you have in your tone and statements really sums up this experience. YES--I am clearly the stupid one in this scenario for asking for such a ridiculous request" During covid a lot of places stopped slicing bread. I have gone into bakeries and the slicer has been broken. I have gone into bakeries later in the day and they have already cleaned the machines. -these are all legitimate and understandable reasons. But can't slice bread because of the humidity? @*#+=wtf?!?!?!! Now this isn't my first Rodeo. I am aware of the various processes and procedures with baking an artisanal bread and the moisture content in certain conditions will yield a result that is a high moisture and doughy or softer loaf of bread. In the rare occasion this happens the bread can get stuck in the machine or just not slice it correctly at all. But somehow the rest of the bakeries in high humidity regions of the world including New Orleans and France somehow figure a way to slice their fresh baked bread. But let's not compare them with national or intentional places because that's not really fair to this establishment. Let's compare them to another local bakery on the other side of Kingston with bread in its name as well. They somehow figured out a way to slice bread in high humidity. Must be some sort of Elon Musk SpaceX technology going on with that bread slicer. Now if this was just some random coffee house or cafe that thought it would be easy to start baking bread as a gimmick I can understand them not figuring all this into the equation. But "BREAD" is in the name here. Imagine a pizza place not slicing the pizza because Steve called out sick. False comparison so not applicable? Is there a comparison for not being capable of slicing bread in high humidity? Anyway ....the bread and pastries are good but overall it's a touristy Brooklyn wannabe hipster place that always has an excuse for why they can't do something normal restaurants do everyday. Btw this nonsense wouldn't last a second in actual Brooklyn. Try telling your landlord rent won't get paid because of the humidity. Just another side effect of global warning I suppose? Fortunately for Bread + Bar in places like Kingston this sort of ridiculousness is plausible. However gentrification is in pure bloom in this part of town and eventually this type of BS won't be acceptable much longer because rents will continue to rise and rise and rise like over-proofed sourdough. Maybe I am being harsh and my expectations of an establishment that prides itself on quality in its artisanal bread comes from privilege? ...........NAH!!!!! Y'all just wack! Find a way to slice the bread and in the rare occasions you can't. Be apologetic or sympathetic. Don't act like the customer demanded some ridiculous request by asking a bread place to slice the bread they bake and sell. I do however recommend this place. Just expect some sort of bizarre wtf nonsense to occur, so sit back and enjoy the show. As for this review: it's not about sliced bread. It's purely a metaphor for the type of experience you will have at this "bread bar". ...but also it's about not slicing bread.

My second go-around on a Saturday at 10:15ish, it was line-free. The black+white stripe awning is catchy, the glass case showcasing the goods and more pastries on the counter all greet you. 'Little' in the name, fits right. The space is upbeat and inviting with brightly color design pieces and a 1950ish-style turquoisey fridge off to the right. Every detail feels special here. The selection of pastries was impressive and trying to decide what I wanted, was impossible. I went on a whim and selected their Danish, an apple(?) hand pie, the well-known olive oil cake and a Veg quiche slice. So be prepared- because whatever you choose, you won't be disappointed. The owner- Catarina mentioned her love for all things Citrus. Ingredients are seasonal- though I would want her to experiment with Passion Fruit. *Wishful thinking*. The pastries I selected to bring home with me were irresistibly butter-rich. I mean listen....the result is divine. Service was great and price was nice for all my goodies.
