Came up from Florida and happen to find this hidden gem in kingston, and talked to JUSTIN and suggested I try the chopped cheese ,and it was Awesome, nothing like this in Florida, and the bagels were so GOOD,we ended up buying 2 dozen after breakfast/lunch,and he suggested the spicy salsa and cheese bagel, and it was spot on ,when we come up to visit family again ,this is a go to place

I found this place during my search for a good Coffee joint. I luv good authentic NY Bagels so I figured I would give it a try. It's a simple little bagel shop in the Kingston Plaza. It's pretty bare bones as far as decor but it does have an old TV with a good selection of old country music. So I gave them big time credibility for their choice in music. I went in at noon & there were still a great variety of bagels available which was fabulous. I decided on the Nova Lox with Garljc herb cc, tomato, Bermuda onion & capers on a Werks toasted bagel. It was FANTASTIC. The bagel was perfectly soft & with a slight chewy texture on the inside and a yummy brown toasted crust. It had a litany of toasted toppings on it: Garljc, salt, sesame, poppy seed etc. The sliced salmon was pink & very fresh, as was the tomato & Bermuda onion. They have a fabulous cream cheese assortment. Jalapeño, bacon horseradish, scallion, garlic & herb, walnut & date, etc. There were about 7 or so small Formica tables when you walk in & your order directly at the Counter. They have breakfast bagel sandwiches & great sub & bagel lunch sandwich selection too. They have assorted chips & a cooler with bottled beverages. They also have a few types of coffee, tea & hot cocoa. (Not a huge assortment & nothing earth shattering in quality). Come here for DELICIOUS authentic NY bagels! Definitely recommended!!!

bagel sandwich on a piece of wax paper

VERY weekend the employees mess up our order. We actually expect it at this point, which is quite unfortunate. The blonde employee also makes my boyfriend consistently feel uncomfortable the entire time hes there. She says things like "are you looking at me" implying hes checking her out. Today he came out and said "i had to stand in the corner the entire time w my eyes down because the blonde kept trying to flirt with me, she was calling me wheres waldo, i bet the orders messed up". Sure enough I open the wrapping to my breakfast sandwich and they FORGOT THE BACON ( shocking). How the hell do you forget the bacon!!!!! I walk back in to rectify it and the blonde is literally dancing behind the counter (10:30 am sunday 1/2/22). When I tell her you messed up the sandwich she responds immediately "oh thats right!!! The bacon!!!" I then told her she should dance less and not go out of her way to try and flirt w customers as she messes up our order every weekend. She didn't like hearing this and took my sandwich from the woman who was making it, went in the back out of my site and made it herself. It is now the sloppiest most inedible bagel sandwich ive ever seen and im pretty sure she spit in it the way she went out of her way to grab it and do it when someone else was. It went right in the garbage, I have a picture of how poorly it was made. Every weekend our order is wrong. It is the fault of incompetent employees who make their customers feel uncomfortable and is inexcusable.

The Works bagel with sausage, egg, and veggie cream cheese. Toasted to perfection!

Great variety, attentive service, bagels tasted great. They open at 7 AM. and it's best to go there close to opening time.

Overpriced. Cream cheese is not made on site. Bagels chewy and decor is strange. Won't be back.

My second go-around on a Saturday at 10:15ish, it was line-free. The black+white stripe awning is catchy, the glass case showcasing the goods and more pastries on the counter all greet you. 'Little' in the name, fits right. The space is upbeat and inviting with brightly color design pieces and a 1950ish-style turquoisey fridge off to the right. Every detail feels special here. The selection of pastries was impressive and trying to decide what I wanted, was impossible. I went on a whim and selected their Danish, an apple(?) hand pie, the well-known olive oil cake and a Veg quiche slice. So be prepared- because whatever you choose, you won't be disappointed. The owner- Catarina mentioned her love for all things Citrus. Ingredients are seasonal- though I would want her to experiment with Passion Fruit. *Wishful thinking*. The pastries I selected to bring home with me were irresistibly butter-rich. I mean listen....the result is divine. Service was great and price was nice for all my goodies.

Some tables and a diner type counter allow you to have some of your goodies inside while there are also tables on the outside. Prices were very reasonable and I was surprised at the final tally for all of what we bought. The staff were really friendly and most importantly helpful in making choices. They offered best sellers and personal favorites. Of course, they have some beautiful cupcakes and pies and cannolis as well as homemade sweets for the kids. ( Big and small kids).
