A fairly new bubble tea spot (for us), which we've visited three times now, is Seven Lemon Tea. It's a cute spot on Main Street; you'll find them a few doors down from Trilussa. There's about 7 tables to sit at along with a bunch of random games (Jenga, cards and poker) to play. Service is standard but our drinks came out fresh and fairly quick. We could see the guy mortar and pestling the lemon. The menu is split into lemon tea, fresh fruit lemon tea, bubble tea, seasalt milk cover tea, soda, smoothie and special mix. They have/had a 20% off card which we used a few times! Trip #1 First visit, we dropped in on a Saturday evening (around 9:30pm) to a surprisingly busy spot. - Roasted black tea ($5.35 large) - we added pearls ($0.50). This was excellent; I was impressed. The roasted black tea was fresh and addictive. Dare I say it was better than Chatime's roasted milk tea? You betcha. Pearls had a good chew to them too. - Passionfruit fresh fruit lemon tea ($5.65 large) - obviously, you need to order one of their lemon tea drinks. We tried out their passionfruit; refreshing, not too sweet and made with real lemon. We also liked how they didn't overdue it with the ice. Trip #2 - Lychee fresh fruit lemon tea ($5.65 large) - fresh and lemony. Love that it's not sweet. - Taiwan mango green/black tea ($5.25 large) - sweeter than the lemon tea but the chunky bits on the bottom were tasty little bites. - 2x Roasted black tea ($5.35 large) - they were out of pearls and only had coconut jelly ($0.50). A bit of an odd combo but the roasted flavour was just as good as our first visit. - Chocolate ($5.05 large) - again, not overly sweet for a chocolate drink but it satisfied my uncle's sweet tooth. Trip #3 - Matcha latte ($5.75 large) - this is one of their sea salt milk cover tea options. We liked that it wasn't too sweet. Surprisingly good matcha flavour. Sea salt is tasty; reminded us of Japanese cheesecake. The best is if you get a sip of the foam and matcha. - Ugly ducking aka grape green tea ($5.25 large) - this was way better than the Taiwan mango. The crushed grapes are fresh and plentiful. Refreshing. A big fan of SLT. Slowly working our way through the menu! Make sure you try their roasted black tea. read more

Cute little mini-cakes! Gotta collect them all. My daughter wanted a treat, so we went inside. We were met by some of the cutest little cakes ever! They were around 4-5 inches in diameter. We decided to adopt three at a cost of about $6.50 each. We got one chocolate mousse, one mango and one pumpkin spice. We took them home for dessert after dinner. The chocolate cake was surprising because it had a caramel-filled interior. The Mango was okay, lacking the strong mango kick that I was expecting. The pumpkin spice cake, though, was very good and was perfect for the Halloween season. The cinnamon was not overpowering which meant my daughter actually liked it. We usually go to Trafiq on Main street for our sweet-tooth fix, but it is nice to have an option when we're on Cambie. I think I still prefer Trafiq because their servings appear bigger, subjectively if not objectively. Plus, Trafiq offers ample seating whereas Seven Lemon Tea does not. But, I am now a fan, and will probably come back soon to sample some more. read more

Great bubble tea that's not overly sweet. I usually find fruit teas very sweet and usually have to ask for less or no sugar. Here, it was just right. I tried the grapefruit green tea lemon tea and the passion fruit strawberry soda. I liked how they put real fruit in the drinks itself. There was grapefruit pulp and lemon in my drink. My cousin had some strawberry in hers. Both drinks had good flavour and was really refreshing. There's also a good amount of seating. Some outlets are around so I could potentially see this as a place to sit down and get some work done. There were a few people sitting with their laptops at a table. Definitely a good place to stop by for a drink! read more

My second time here. The first time was when it was Seven Lemon Tea, but they have rebranded to KingSize Bubble Tea & Games. It's a cozy bubble tea spot located on busy Main Street. Fun decor throughout the shop with many games available to play while enjoying your drinks. We tried the Muay Thai Black Milk Tea with Pearls, Black Zilian Bubble Tea, and Strawberry Lemon Fruit Tea with Lychee Jelly. I enjoyed the Muay Thai Milk Tea the most! Great taste and sweetness to it. The Strawberry Lemon Fruit Tea was also quite refreshing! It had real fruit bits in it too! Great drinks all around. Came across this cute little bubble tea place while out for dinner on Main Street and we decided to give it a try! This place opened a couple months ago and has a very simple and fun interior. Drinks are pricey for the size. They don't have a lot of options, but quite a lot of lemon tea beverages (not a surprise). The staff were very friendly and gave us recommendations. They were very patient with us because it took us a while to order. We ordered an earl grey milk tea and a chrysanthemum goji berry milk tea. For the first drink, the earl grey flavour was noticeable, but the drink was too sweet. It reminded me of Hong Kong style milk tea. The chrysanthemum drink was weird... I could taste the chrysanthemum and I like that they use real ingredients, however, I personally didn't find it a good match. I would prefer a honey chrysanthemum goji berry milk tea. The pearls were chewy, but didn't have any taste. Overall, we didn't enjoy our drinks, but I think their lemon tea drinks might be a better hit since that's what their store is called! read more

Great place to hangout. This place is very new and we discovered a hidden gem! They make everything from fresh ingredients and cut the fruits in front of you. I ordered the blackcurrant lemon tea and the owner told me they use dried blackcurrant to brew the juice! My friend ordered the strawberry green tea and they added a handful of fresh strawberries. It was an empty evening on Canada day Orders a regular earl grey milk tea Dude made the wrong drink. Then the fix took over 15 mins Earl grey arrived large size. Okay maybe it was a bonus since they messed up. Hard zero hint of earl grey. No flavour at all. Tasted like water down milk tea. I'll never come back here again. Wasted $6 read more

Mango Smoothie. Found Seven Lemon Tea during Main Street Car Free day June 17, 2018. I saw mango smoothie on the menu for $5. After about 20 minutes, what I got was a cup of crushed ice with a squirt of mango flavouring. No fruit, fruit juice or any milk product at all. $5 for what turned out to be a thin slushie was not worth it. Won't be going back. If Seven Lemon Tea offer me a real mango smoothie in place of what I received I will revise this review. read more

First time here. I was so looking forward to a fresh grapefruit bubble tea. At over $7.50 this was not going to be a cheap treat. First I was asked if I am allergic to strawberries. I am not but asked why the question. He (the owner?) said he puts fresh strawberries in the grapefruit bubble tea. Then I questioned why he was cutting up lemons instead of grapefruit and he explained this is a fruit mixture he puts in the grapefruit bubble tea. Next he looks all over for grapefruits and realized he has none. Asks me if I want a strawberry bubble tea. I said no I asked for grapefruit because that is what I wanted. There was no one in there when we walked in. After 40 minutes we finally get our 6 drinks. In the meantime, the couple that walked in after us got their drink and was long gone. Two of our drinks were wrong. They offered one of us a new drink- but she would have to wait 20 mins. We were still the only people in the place. When I said I also ordered milk tea- not lemon- they looked at each other and we all stood there awkwardly in silence for a moment. No offer to remake the tea or refund the purchase. Wonderful shop. Lots of fun to spend an afternoon at Seven Lemon Tea and drink a boba smoothie while playing Mario Kart. There are a variety of games there, not just video games. There is a table with an assortment of games (Cards Against Humanity, Jenga, a deck of cards...) and a cute little counter by the window. The drinks are absolutely delicious.
