I called, they came, gave a free estimate, we talked price, they came back the next day, installed my locks. Job well done. I will recommend them to someone I know who needs a locksmith. read more

Solomon and Randy were beyond helpful. I locked myself out of my room and they were on time, answered all my calls and were so kind. I will use them again and refer them to any and all locked out customers!!! Thank You! read more

My super broke my look and he couldn't fix it so I called these guys... And they were great. The lock smith that was sent out was professional and quick. I hope that I don't have lock problems, but if I do I will use these guys again. read more

Last week, Randy helped us out twice in one week - and was great both times! Scheduling the appointment was easy, he did the repair quickly and for a reasonable price. Highly Recommend! read more

Great for keys, was in and out in 5 minutes. The guy that helped me was nice & chill. Saving their number in case I ever get locked out!

I have been a loyal customer of King's Locksmith for five years now, and they have never let me down. We own a property, as well as manage multiple other properties, so are in constant need of locksmith services, and Randy and his team are always available when we need them to get us out of a bind. Whether the service needed is an emergency, or whether the job is simple or more complicated, they treat each with the same urgency, and always get the job done, without fail, always with the same courtesy. I highly recommend Kings Locksmith and look forward to working with them into the future. read more

These guys are professional and responsive. Justin installed all the multilocks in our house (about 6) a year ago and did a great job. When a small issue came up with our front door lock, Justin was here in 20 minutes and took care of the problem. read more

Great customer service and arrived very quickly! Their prices are reasonable and competitive.

I'll never go to another locksmith, as long as I'm living in Brooklyn. Not only is Randy the most professional, but he is friendly and always provides great service. I've been coming to King's for the past few years just for standard key copies. This Fall, I had a tenant situation which involved me needing my locks changed. Randy could not have been more supportive, patient and communicative with me throughout the process of me making multiple appointments and then realizing I couldn't legally change the locks yet and having to cancel. He was even willing to provide the service on New Years Eve and then I ended up deciding to postpone to changing the locks on New Years Day. The man he sent could not have been nicer, came on time, with everything he needed and got the job done fast. I was so appreciative that he came all the way out in the bitter cold on New Years Day to change my locks. I'd highly recommend Randy's services to anyone in the area. read more

Highly recommended! I just had my mailbox fixed by this company this morning. When I spoke on the phone to make my appointment with them last night, the person on the phone was professional and nice, gave me all the info I needed to know including pricing. The technician who came this morning was very professional and great. You should choose them because; 1. Reasonable, honest pricing 2. Timely manner and prompt service 3. Great communication Thank you for your pleasant service! I'll def recommend to all my friends and people! read more

The service was quick and great value! Randy was also professional and friendly. I highly recommend!!!

Rudy was great. He set me up with new locks on my front door, answered all my questions, handled the quirks of my ancient beat-to-hell door gracefully, and was friendly and charming too. All in all, Safeway is a solid family shop I'm thrilled to give my business to. read more

Thought someone might be trying to pick my lock. Eden came by within 30 minutes after I called. It was 150 for a new unpick able lock, which is pretty standard in NYC, especially on the weekends. Very down to earth nice guys. I'll definitely be calling again for all my locksmith needs. read more

Called regarding my mailbox, left a message and even though it was the weekend I shortly received a call back from Randy. Was completely flexible about setting up an appointment time (I didn't want to rush them since others may be locked out vs just a mailbox), super polite and friendly both on the phone and in person and did excellent work in a FLASH. So happy I found them on here! THANK YOU!!!! read more

Great, friendly service! I've been there twice now and always leave with a smile. If you need a copy of your keys - I'd recommend going here over Home Depot any day. read more

Safeway is great! They were very easy to communicate with and well organized. I needed a new mailbox lock and the locksmith arrived early. He text me and asked if I wanted him to start on it before I arrived. By the time I showed up 10 minutes later, everything was finished and he was very patient and polite. Great service, will use them again if I need. The service was $90 and seemed fair relative to the other companies I called. read more

Randy is the best. I just bought a 3 family home with some friends, and of course we needed to change all of the keys. That was no problem for Randy. He came by today and changed out 7 locks (including a new deadbolt and mul-t-lock) and made dozens of keys in under 2 hours. It was super easy to arrange time for him to come; he was very communicative, and he's an all-round nice guy. Randy also went the extra mile to bring by extra keys later in the day. My housemates and I are super thrilled with Safeway's service. We'd use them again in a heartbeat. read more

fast, friendly, honest and well priced. I was totally pleased and will use them again everytime.

These guys were absolute lifesavers. My roommate came home to discover that her key wasn't opening the front door and then, surprise, mine wouldn't open it either. We called these two gentlemen to come and help us see what the problem was, and they were out to us in 10 minutes. They quickly assessed the issue (a faulty pin in the lock, I believe), told us what the cost of the fix would be, and proceeded - after a serious amount of hard work - to get us into our apartment. They couldn't have been kinder or more helpful and in such a timely fashion, too. I absolutely recommend you give these guys a call if you're in a jam. read more

Really unsavory experience with this locksmith. I had a lockout situation and guy who showed up took a quick look at the $10 (Defiant/Home Depot bought) doorknob key lock and said it would cost $275 to unlock the door. I told him I wasn't willing to pay that and didn't think it should cost so much and he responded by saying I don't know anything about unlocking locks. So I told him I wasn't interested in his service and then the price suddenly went down to $180 but he insisted that I could only now pay in cash b/c their credit card machine was broken. At this point I started feeling uncomfortable around him , but agreed to pay because I had to access my studio and was in a vulnerable situation. He wasn't able to pick the simple cheap door lock and had to use his drill to finally unlock the door. Once it was finally unlocked I asked him to wait five minutes so that I could replace the lock and he said he couldn't wait and insisted I go get him his cash and put his hand on the doorknob blocking my way. At this point, I felt unsafe with him and extremely uncomfortable. Also, after I paid him, he didn't even give me a proper receipt so I'm assuming he just pocketed the money. AWFUL. AWFUL. AWFUL. Only use their service if you feel like getting fleeced or are desperate. And if you absolutely must use their service be accompanied by someone to have your back. read more

Nobody wants to be locked out in the middle of the night. Eden came by at 2am in a matter of 20min. I was locked out of my apt and the lock was broken. He got me in and repaired the lock. Thank you safeway for your fast, efficient and professional service! read more

Due to a weird set of circumstances, I was left without a working key to my new apartment on move-in day. I called King's Locksmith and within 30 minutes someone was there to tell me that the cylinder on my door had been installed incorrectly and needed to be completely replaced to prevent more issues. Justin got the job done in under 10 minutes and even told me to make sure I was reimbursed by my building management. Everyone I spoke to was so kind; I hope I don't end up in a similar situation in the future -- but if I do, at least I know who to call! read more

This place is a scam of a locksmith. Since November when they replaced our locks we have had to call four times and replace one of the locks. Nothing but problems -- STAY AWAY!!! They have taken over $1500 and one lock still doesn't work. read more

This company ripped me off. They overcharged me. After he broke the lock to my front door, he told me the price was over $200 which I did not authorize. He wanted another $200 for a new door knob and installation. I was taken full advantage of. I spoke to the manager who called me a liar. read more

These guys are great! My landlord locked me out of my apt pretty late in the evening and they showed up quickly to help open my doors. The service was awesome and they were very reasonable on the price. I was concerned they might try to over charge me due to my desperate situation, but they were honest and trust worthy. I HIGHLY recommend them! read more

Natasha is sooo helpful and their prices are MUCH lower than the other Brooklyn-based locksmiths, specifically All Star Locksmith and Hardware. I only needed a mailbox lock replaced, so this wasn't an emergency or a residence lock, but All Star gave me a quote of minimum $160 while Safeway quoted me $75-80. Not only that, but Natasha adjusted their schedule to get me a locksmith within two hours of my request. Great service and great prices. read more

Great service, kind people. New top lock is perfect. They even helped fix the old bottom lock for free!

Talk about coming through in a "jam"! Tonight my 3yr. old son, his dad and I were locked out of our apt due to a faulty lock and broken key. After sitting in the hallway for nearly 3hrs. to no avail, I started researching locksmiths. I came across Safeway and its wonderful reviews, so I decided to give them a shot. We were able to have someone (Eden) sent out to us in a short while. He saw our dilemma, took compassion on us and saved the friggin' day all in under 30 mins.! Tonight, Eden and Safeway were a true GODSEND! If you're ever caught in a lock jam, don't even hesitate to make the call! read more

Fantastic. I was in a real pinch (stove on) and was locked out. I called and they were ready to come help me out. The man on the phone had a calm demeanor, which was exactly what I needed because I was having a mild panic attack. read more

I called in the morning and was told that someone would be by to give me a free estimate. The locksmith came and said that he would have to drill holes in the door to get the job done, and I was not comfortable with that solution. I thanked him and declined the service. As he was leaving, he told me there would be a $50 service fee. I informed him that a free estimate was offered over the telephone and he did not believe me, so he called his boss. I felt very uncomfortable that he wasn't leaving my apartment. He spoke to his boss, and had me speak to him. His boss then remembered that a free estimate was offered, but he had forgotten to tell his employee. The locksmith was annoyed and so was I. This poor communication led to a very awkward situation. I was glad when it was over. read more

This place has some really great people working there. The safety of your home is definitely the most important thing on their minds. Today I noticed that someone tried to break in through my door, and my landlord did not seem to care. When I called and explained this to Randy, he came to my house that evening and did everything he could to help. He explained how exactly the locks work and what it would take to break in, and was so informative. Thanks so much! read more

This place is wonderful and I will never visit another locksmith in Brooklyn again! Thank you so much Randy for helping me make copies of my keys, by far the best copies I've ever received. I will not forget how you reopened your shop at the end of the night to make my keys.. it saved me so much time and worry!
