Randy was early for our appointment, was friendly and very knowledgeable. Second generation locksmith. He talked himself out of a sale in a good way. Our deadbolt was jammed and most people do not use deadbolts anyway. Now our door self locks and will be easier for our tenants to use. Others in the past have replaced the mortise to the tune of hundreds of dollars. Highly recommend. read more

Who needs a deadbolt installed at 7pm on a Friday night? I did! And with just a couple hours notice King's was there! Super responsive, communicative, and on time. (Lower cost than another locksmith I called for an estimate.) The installer was thorough and concise and insisted on cleaning up not once but twice the drilling dust from his work. Love when a company just delivers exactly as promised! Thanks Kings :) That was easy. read more

I haven't used their locksmithing service, and hopefully won't ever have to, but I do regularly get keys copied here- and they work. Every single time. So inexpensive (currently $1.50 for a standard key) and fast (in and out in under 5 minutes). What more could you ask? Well, as it turns out, they also have lots of other reasonably priced hardware essentials, and great service! Ada in particular is lovely, and she will strike up a nice friendly conversation with you if you like. Looking forward to my next visit here!!! read more

Had to make copies of one of those tricky code keys, I thought I was getting ripped off when they told me it was going to be $10 a key but after going to other locksmiths I realized they only charge half the price other places do! Great service, and a very cute cat that roams around ^^ read more

I needed to change the lock cylinder on my studio space as I didn't have a key set for the other. I learned that mine is an adams rite cylinder but outside of that quick google had no experience changing locks. I went here and was helped out immediately and effectively. I was given the correct cylinder and was told how to switch out the old for the new! Seems simple enough. Lining up the thread of the cylinder to the deadbolt frame proved trickier than I thought. 20 minutes in and my stress began to rise as I thought about my space and possessions being left unguarded once more while I ran back to the store, so I decided to call and ask for help. Randy, on the other end, guided me through the process and more than that offered some great advice: breathe walk away for a second and zen out, if you get too stressed and force it, you'll break the thread. Sure enough, I calmed down for a bit and was able to get big pieces in and my space secured! Thanks Randy! read more

Randy did my keys quickly and easily. I was in and out, but I liked the conversation.

I had problems with my lock so I contacted King's Locksmith and spoke to Randy. He was very thorough explaining the many possibilities from the description I gave him via phone. He showed up within an hour. He explained what the problem was and the possibility of a worse case scenario would be like and the cost. He explained the various parts of the lock and how it should work. He was very professional and friendly. He was well-prepared. Got the job done. Great service and it didn't break my bank. Thank you, Randy. read more

Fantastic neighborhood place to have around. The space may look small, but it is filled to the brim with household items. Running over to grab some spackle or getting a key made has never been easier. They also rent out items like ladders and hand trucks, which is super useful. Service is friendly, personalized, and knowledgeable; I have never run into a lock question they couldn't answer. read more

This place saved my life. I had to leave on short notice and had to make a duplicate of my apartment building key (the one where you have to get a card from your landlord that details the key code)... anyway, landlord was completely non-responsive and I had two days to get this key copied. After work (which was around 11:30pm) I would send yelp messages to locksmiths on yelp inquiring whether they can duplicate without a card. It was 11:51 PM when I stumbled upon kings locksmith and saw that they were closing in 9. I called and randy picked up. Super nice guy. I told him my situation. He said to send him pictures of the key and he figured it out right away. The next day I went to the place and had it cut. Randy didn't overcharge me given how desperate I was. This has been the best customer service experience I have ever had and am sooo grateful to kings locksmith for heir timely and friendly service not to mention... how freaking amazing he was able to crack the "card code" from looking at pictures and that he value customers to reply back within 1 minute and take calls at midnight! Great service! Knowledgeable locksmith. I would highly recommend this place for ANYONE WHO'S LOOKING FOR APARTMENT BUILDING KEY be duplicated or any keys for that matter. RANDY is a key whisperer. Trust in him with your keys. read more

Great, fast service even on a holiday weekend. My lock was damaged by an unsuccessful thief and they were able to change the lock no problem. It was costly but comparable to what others quoted and they were there within an hour and a few others I called didn't even get back to me. They also reached out to me on Yelp after the fact to make sure I was satisfied - great customer service and I will be keeping them in mind for any other locksmith needs. read more

We had ancient lock on the front door which we needed replacing. The first locksmith gauged us and didn't tell us that the lock mechanism was broken on the inside. Just replaced the cylinder, charged us a fortune and didn't explain anything. When the lock jammed later, we called a second locksmith who didn't really troubleshoot anything for us either. Finally, we called Randy and his team...third times the charm I guess. Justin came out first to look at the lock and door to give an estimate. He was super friendly and explained everything to us and showed us how the lock was actually broken on the inside. Then Randy and his team went out of their way to help get the lock replaced. Seriously these guys are awesome! Super patient, explained everything and gave us options on how to proceed...they even worked over the weekend. Hands down the best experience we've had with a locksmith. Highly recommend these guys! A+++ for customer service! read more

Having a misplaced key on Thanksgiving day seems like it could be a hopeless situation. Justin and King's Locksmith to the rescue! Justin arrived in 15min and quickly gained access for us. Lost our only keys, oh no! Texted the locksmith per instructions on the company's voicemail, got a prompt response and no hassle to set a time to meet them at our place. They had to drill out the deadbolt to which we'd lost the keys.
