Hire people to work at your stores, doesn't even matter the location. Every single king Soopers and city market are becoming more and more difficult to deal with because there is no one ever working at the store.

I've shopped here frequently and have never been disappointed. It's a large size store than most I've shopped and is well organized. The staff members are very friendly and helpful which is a direct reflection of the store manager. The mall offers a variety of stores and restaurants and is located near W 32nd and Youngfield Sts. and I70. All in all, this is one of the better King Soopers in the West side of town.

Pharmacy staff short and unfriendly. Cut me off several times while trying to explain what was going on. Pharmacist was very friendly.

The selection is always interesting, and the quality of the produce is so much better than what I've found at the nearby King Soopers on Youngfield. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they do roast green chiles right on site. The only downside is that the parking lot is pretty small and can get busy at times, but it's a small price to pay for having a place like this nearby. Definitely one of my go-to spots for fresh produce and specialty items!

In the past they were good for the chili. The little woman and I went to 3 other roasters, all of whom we had done business with before and been satisfied. This year there was a drought in New Mexico's Hatch Valley and a very hot growing season was so the chili and the farmers suffered. Not sure what everyone was selling but it was advertised in all these places in Colorado as "Hatch Green Chili" but in all our stops to include Heinies the chili was very thick, tasteless, odorless and the texture was like boiled Egg plant and I had to deal with returning all the chili we bought to include Lulu's farm in order to get a refund. At Heinies I just happened to walk in while the guy was roasting Hatch Medium and I tasted it right out of the roaster and in front of about 10 people. I made a statement and walked out...I guess no green chili this year..

This store has so many pricing errors. They show you digital coupons, and then when you scan them to pay, they give you a different price. And when you ask about the discount... they get so angry they practically foam at the mouth! Sometimes, when I see this, I prefer to stay quiet, but I'm fed up! From now on, I'm going to King Soopers or Walmart. I remember a few months ago, when they were on strike, they seemed very friendly talking to people outside with their signs. But now they think they have the right to treat customers badly. It's terrible. I avoid the problem by going to another store, but I feel sorry for them because they're stuck in a job that makes them unhappy, or they make their own lives a living hell so badly they probably can't even sleep! Poor things!!

I used to enjoy shopping at this store as my preferred, but the quality all around and grocery prices are even as a member using digital coupons are not a benefit or huge savings. One would think that after the summer strike their negotiations got the staff what they were expecting.

I enjoy shopping for groceries and life's sustenances at a locally owned store more than anything…read more When I was driving on 38th westbound to get somewhere this AM, this store didn't escape my notice (the exterior decals on the glass window was so visible as I drove past by it.) Since I wasn't in a hurry, I made a quick turn to a side street to park my car and went to investigate. And I LOVED it. This store is in operation since 1984. People who live in this neighborhood must love it; lucky them! I have to admit though; certain things are bit pricey but what's great about this place is the fact that they do generous sales on items throughout the store. For instance, a jar of Dalmatia Quince Spread (pear flavor) was originally $6 with some change but it was on sale at the price of $3.99! I had recently run out of a fig spread so I immediately grabbed this one. There is a cafe where they can make craft coffee beverages. Not only that, there is a pizzeria, sushi section, soap/beauty section, vitamins, alcohol section etc. Although the store is not massive, it's a good size where they pretty much carry most of the daily needs (although I'm not sure about toilet paper/paper towels and stuff like that; I didn't need any of those so I simply didn't look for it.) I saw some people sitting in the cafe studying with their books and computers. There were also families with small children eating their late morning meals. It's simply a great place for any occasion was the observation I gathered. My cashier (Sean) was very pleasant to me. I forgot to bring my reusable grocery bag so he asked me if I needed a bag to which I said yes. He didn't charge me for the bag when I looked around the receipt. Thank you! I hope I'll have reasons or business up in the neighborhood soon so I can make a stop again.

The prime rib was for my birthday dinner so my husband left his phone number with them. He received a call later that day asking if the prime rib should be fresh or frozen. They wanted to make sure it did not get frozen if it was being used right away. He advised fresh and commented at what good customer service it was to make the distinction. We went together for pick up. The person who helped us when through the entire smoker bundle to show us the contents and then got the rib roast. Everything was well packaged and arranged. Even though it was the Friday before a religious holiday, and many folks were picking things up, it did not take long for us to get our order, pay and be on our way. The meats we have received both on this order and in the past have always been high quality. Edwards is an excellent butcher shop.

The quality is hard not to miss here. I am a bit baffled of all the unfermented soy products that are highlighted as being healthful (we can go into that another time), but it's hard not to feel good after leaving this place (that is unless you spend more than you expected, which is easy...better quality is pricier). I am bargain hunter, but it's great to have a place that offers a organic veggies/fruits as well as milk products that won't contain unwanted hormones. Kalona milk products are my favorite.
