I'm a professional cook so I am constantly putting together great foods. The first thing I noticed were the high prices. A mediocre foot long "italian sub" wrapped on a styrofoam tray was 14 dollar, dang, I really wanted one but refused to cough up the cash. Walking through the meat isle, I noticed a big difference between regular stores and this one. Leevers meats are neatly trimmed for appearance and nicely presented but wow! The prices made me leave the store. In todays world I have to constantly be aware of the abuse in ''truth in labeling" knowing full well that the buzz words in foods often mean nothing and if they mean nothing then one just may be over paying for something they could buy for a lesser price some place else. It's literally impossible for me to justify paying 24 dollars a pound at Leevers when I could pay 14 dollars a pound else where, I mean, where's the justification? Where's my assurance that anything I purchase at Leevers is of high quality in any way...sorry...I have justified trust issues.

Given the amount of bullying, harassment I'm peripherally seeing on employees, this is additionally concerning. Curious if bullying is corp culture at King Soopers management. Not even speaking on the dubious focus on minorities as the assumed thieves ignoring the pasty folks with full pockets. On a recent visit found lots of updates to the stores appearance in clothing and Baby sections with new Lighting and Display Shelving. Aisles were more spacious and more cart accessible. This is a location that is always staffed well now that self checkout areas have been consolidated and are smaller. Something that needs to be done with Handicap Parking as over sized spaces are a waste when more spaces are what's needed more for the elderly. If I can't find it online it's a safe bet that the trip to this location will yield success of finding it. Grocery Coolers have all been updated as well will add pics from next visit soon.
