As a chicken nugget canesur there chicken tenders are ok but the chicken bake is perfection

As with the all Costcos, it's always a madhouse pretty much any time of the day. It's incredible how the parking lot is always full. The weekends are insane. There are times when I go, and I feel like it's black Friday when it comes to certain sections like all of the sample stations, however, Costco meets our needs for specific things. Moreover, when it comes to their warranties and return policy, we just can't turn back at this point. Customer service is always top-notch. As for the value of items, it just depends on what you're buying. Not ideal for everyone - I get it. And for those of you who love samples, it's like a feast during peak times which I try to avoid. read more

Although I'm a big fan of Costco, I am not a fan of waiting in line. This Arvada location is unfortunately my local Costco and relative to other locations, they are below average when it comes to wait time in line. Since they shuffled their register layout this year, it's been a nightmare to check out. It's created unnecessary bottle necks and wait times have increased. Typically, 2/3 or their registers are closed. They've taken away the scanner guns at the self check out registers so you have one staff member running around scanning those large items for everyone -- more waiting. So 2 stars for this location as I compare it to other costcos. read more

Costco - Best. Deal. Ever. - Wholesale Stores Near Me - Arvada, Colorado

I like going to this grocery store warehouse But it made me really sad. The only healthy thing I like to get there was the mineral water topo Chico it was good for my health one of the managers said they don't have it at any of their other stores Thinking of making their own Kirkland brand Please can people just let a good thing be I would really be grateful if they would bring it back to their warehouse. I have high hopes. Guess I can go to natural groceries they're usually pretty awesome. I just gotta check their mineral vitamins. It just be easier to get topo Chico. read more

Coke is back, baby! All Costcos are once again five stars in my book (even though this one is very very crowded all the time)!

Nobody picks up the phone in the tire department here. How will I buy tires? Will I drive in? On what?

This is really a grand Costco with some incredible selection for wine and reading glasses. I was really impressed to see some great vintages of Chateau Haut Brion, Crystal Roederer and Chateau Margeaux. All exceptional bottles. Just the right vintages for the holidays with an incredible value. The wine advisor-sommelier du jour was French so we had a very pleasant conversation. Very attentive and knowledgeable providing a well informed service for a great value. read more

Food court failures. Their terrible model makes you line up, then their employees patronize everyone in line because the line is to long. Then they screw up your order and give you attitude when you ask them to fix it. Sorry for asking...I should have known better. Now I get to shop with rude workers through the store and stand in line forever. Great job, Costco. You messed up a working system. read more

I am here to review the food court only: The super cheap dogs and pizza are excellent. Not only is the dog huge and delicious, but the price simply cannot be beaten. The famous loss-leaders at Costco are definitely worth it! Having said that... The wait took quite a while. The setting is tons of people in this zoo of a store all waiting for their food. Many can sit, others cannot. You can see the quiet desperation in the eyes of your fellow humans as another number is called, but you know they have like 30 numbers until their turn. Like the DMV of hot dogs. It is almost dystopian. Consumerism gone wild. But after braving the parking lot and spending $900 on 10-years' worth of Kleenex and pretzels, it is too late to turn back now. You are committed. But man is it a good deal. Such a good deal that they get 4 stars even though every visit makes you feel like everyone in the store is preparing for a hurricane. I'll be back. read more

Got 2: roasted chickens at 5:30 on 08/04/26... looks done but raw on the inside!! Be careful people!!

I've had really good experiences with Costco. There's been a few hangouts that are any interesting if you buy a product and then you dispute it because you don't get a refund or something like a mattress, you can get lost in translation and it can cause serious problems. I went through it, but it took a long time, but I finally got it solved. read more

This location no longer has a liquor store! I specifically came here for the liquor, however I was told they took it down 3 months ago! On Apple Maps, via the street view there is a sign that says "liquor sales" that's no longer there. However, overall this Costco was just like any other Costco but 10x the people. I think it's oddly placed where you have to drive around the block just to get into the parking lot, which is why I'm knocking off one star. It was a nightmare just to get into the lot, which isn't their fault the lot they are placed in just isn't convenient, but there are plenty of other entrances that weren't available unless you were coming in the opposite direction. Quite the ruckus being right by the freeway. Overall though, it was good place to shop! Always have great deals! read more

Costco - Thanksgiving Spiral Ham - Wholesale Stores Near Me - Arvada, Colorado

Easily the worst Costco in the metro area. This store is always packed, yet every employee that works here seems to have a huge chip on their shoulder. Selection is always terrible, and it seems as though they spend more on staffing people at the entrances and exits acting like you're carding into Area 51, than anyone actually stocking the floor. This place really makes a membership almost not worth it, thankfully there are other much MUCH better costcos not too far by. read more

The variety is not the best and getting into the parking lot is a bit of a pain. The staff there is so friendly though!

This used yo be a good Costco, but not anymore! They never have eggs when all of the surrounding grocery stores do; don't you think it's time to switch suppliers? Don't carry fresh packed sausage anymore. Don't call numbers at the food court anymore; instead you have to order, then squeeze yourself in to stand in line in between everyone eating...what??? Don't carry vegetable chips anymore. Don't carry frozen chicken bakes anymore. I mean, sheesh people, might as well be a small business instead of major chain. Oh, and their, used to be, cheap food at the food court isn't cheap anymore! I'm done with this Costco. It's worth it to travel farther to a better one. read more

Was caught in a web of CRAZY at Costco. Wanted to return never-ripened (10 days after purchase) bananas for Quality Control issues as this is a repeat occurrence. Worst luck ever being met with a ***Bully Supervisor*** who decided to make an example of me for unknown reasons or simply sadistic sport. LIED from first moment by telling me that I didn't buy them at Costco. NEVER admitted they were from Costco. Recruited 3 other crew members to **VIOLATE COSTCO CODE OF CONDUCT AND LIE** to support her bizarre mission to prove customer was lying (*customer was never lying*). Her perpetual argument -- COSTCO DOESNT SELL DOLE ! Yet, COSTCO presently EXCLUSIVELY SELLS DOLE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The video begins after 6-7 minutes of her abuse. And the Abuse continued after video for another 6-8 minutes where she pulled in 2 additional team members. [***NOTE -- 48 hours later credit has not yet shown on my account. She NEVER DID OFFER ME A COSTCO CREDIT. JUST TO APPLY TO MY CARD***] I wonder how many elderly customers get bullied by this one. It is an obviously practiced routine she has when she triangulates with other employees to back up her lies and game. She steamrolled over me by speaking over me. If she wasn't speaking over me she was giving me the **TALK TO THE HAND" gesture or the flat HAND out front dismissal signal, while dismissing me as "Hun" throughoit. This is absolute **predatory abuse**. Upon leaving warehouse I stopped to show her the pics of ONLY DOLE bananas being sold. Gave her the opportunity to, AT MINIMUM, respond with "Thanks for bringing that to my attention", let alone **APOLOGIZE**, and all she did was do the taunting head wobble and smile, just as she did continuously when she was bullying me at the return desk. I told her she should lose her job as I am a member at Costco BECAUSE THE COSTCO CODE OF CONDUCT DOES NOT TOLERATE ASSOCIATES TREATING CLUB MEMBERS this way. And Costco does not tolerate LIES. General manager is involved. read more

We love our Costco here in Arvada! Some of the best customer service around! Hats off to Management for keeping the place super organized, clean and run like a finely tuned machine. Everything from the food court, eyeglass station, bakery and butcher, this is hands down one of the best I have been to. I have been to many Costco's, and I've seen what poorly organized looks like. This one is super busy and really stands out as one of the best. Thanks to this entire Costco Team! read more

Trash employee behavior. When we entered, an employee directed us to the customer service counter for a replacement card. Costco - Wholesale Stores Near Me - Arvada, Colorado

My review pertains to both an on-line order and my experiences at this location on 1/5/2021: I ordered a Keurig coffee maker, on-line, for a friend recently. When it arrived around 8 PM on 1/4/2021 I noticed that it had been shipped without the usual Costco shipping box. The item I received was beat up, previously opened and had been shipped to another Costco customer (the other shipping label was still attached and the invoice sleeve had been opened). When I explained what happened to my friend, we decided to return it to this location. After waiting a few minutes at the customer service area, I was greeted by an arrogant young woman. I could tell that she had a chip on her shoulder from the get go by her body language and facial expression. Not only was she argumentative when I mentioned that this item was shipped to someone else and that the label was still attached to the box, she insulted me when I asked her if my shipping fee would be refunded by telling me that this wasn't New York and that I should calm down, all because I asked her a simple question about the shipping charge. We couldn't believe the disrespect and contempt from this woman. Furthermore, while I was shopping I couldn't locate one of the items I wanted and was told to speak with an agent near the checkout area. I approached 2 male agents who were engaged in a conversation. I directed my question to one of them and when he went to check their computer, the other agent decided to comment on my face mask, claiming that it wasn't up high enough and indicated that either I needed to bring my mask up or purchase a screen. Either these individuals enjoy disrespecting and berating senior citizens or they didn't get enough sleep the night before. Needless to say, I am very disappointed with Costco and their employees and am considering cancelling my membership. read more

We love a Costco and don't know why we never went to Costco for groceries when we came with a big group of snowboarding/skiing. This Costco is huge, well organized and great employees. Definitely helped with a party of 7 people! read more

Probably the best location for gasoline. Otherwise, it's definitely not my fav Costco. Tends to not have products I regularly buy -- stuff that other nearby warehouses do carry or keep in stock. I often find myself driving a bit farther to get a bigger more pleasant facility with better managed, more relevant inventory. If I don't need to fill my tank, I much prefer going to Superior, Arvada, or even Thornton. read more

We were really excited to shop here from out of town but ended up ditching our cart when we seen only two registers open and lines all the way down foods. There was a sup working her way back past the flower case with a tablet scanning items in baskets. Just open more registers. An assistant GM with a silver badge and bakery manager walked by us in line and I asked if they planned on helping the members get out of here and open more registers. They just looked at me like I was crazy and kept walking. Definitely lost my business. Staying here for a week, shopping across the street at Sam's Club. read more

Costco has so many great deals that I feel I'd have to be crazy not to be a member. Lately, with the price of gas soaring, I always go out of my way to fill up. They save you around 50 cents a gallon. Ten fill ups in a year will recover the annual cost of membership by itself. Then there are some amazing values. Things like condiments, and Keurig cups and dozens of others are about half of what I pay in the local supermarket. Then there is the hearing department. They will give you an annual checkup. It's thorough - better than the hearing center I used to go to. And the prices of hearing aids are significantly lower than anywhere. Yes, definitely a great value! read more

Separate listing for the gas pumps adjacent to the store. Pulling in is much more organized than other area Costcos. Two types of gas either regular or premium. Swipe your membership card and then your payment method. Works like any other gas station except it's Costco gas! Oooooh. Don't think I would specifically drive here for gas. But if you are in the area. Or already buying bulk XYZ you may as well pull in and fill up. And now some frequently asked questions. Thanks to Google! "Why is gas at Costco so cheap? Costco can sell gas at between 6 cents and 12 cents below the market price, according to research firm Trefis. It discounts gas in the hopes that people will fill up and then head over to its stores. Gas is already a low-margin product, and climbing prices can turn gasoline into a money loser for the company." "How does Costco gas work? While Costco does not have gas stations at all of its clubs, the ones that do all work roughly the same. To buy gas, customers must either swipe their Costco membership card or pay via a Costco gift card. The chain does not take cash or checks, only credit cards." read more

Jason in the optical department delivered superb customer service for me this past week. So, if you can get past the crowds on nights and weekends, this Costco is a win! Of course we all know the best part of Costco are the free samples and the cheap food items AKA hot dog and churros, etc.! But, this Costco literally has my favorite snack items, so I come back every single time! I recently started back on the low carb keto diet and this location offers so many low carb options outside of meats and certain fruits/veg (btw the berries are always fresh and juicy here)! I love that I can grab an entire tray of bacon wrapped jalapeños just ready to go in the frozen section! They have the cauliflower bites in big bags (check the brand Rhythm) and the big bag is the only way to go! I will actually go to Costco just for these! They have a wonderful assortment of cheeses, jerky, nut mixes, and last but not least... keto cookies, chocolate, etc that are keto friendly AKA sugar free! If you're a low carb/sugarless eater like me, this location also carries the High Key chocolate chip cookie bites and they're so satisfying! Also satisfying is the keto pint sea salt ice cream bars! There are even more options than I'm listing, so if you're on the fence about this location... just go! It's a fun store to explore with endless options for ALL to look at. Low carb friends, I hope this was helpful! Treat yoself! read more
