She had only used mechanical systems in the past and, although an experienced seamstress, was unfamiliar with recent changes in technology and the latest computerized products. We had the great pleasure of being greeted by Miles when we walked into this amazing store. We explained our requirements and he immediately understood what was needed and began to show us appropriate options from Pfaff, Husqvarna, and Bernina. Miles was able to explain without hesitation the fine details of all of the products we considered and could helpfully relate many issues to his own sewing experience. We quickly narrowed things down to a computerized Husqvarna model, available at a very reasonable price. Who knew that Husqvarna dated back to 1689 and went from producing muskets to sewing machines in 1872. I always thought of them as a power equipment manufacturer, but that's a separate company these days. This is a huge store. The selection of brands and models to choose from is awesome. There's a good selection of threads and accessories plus some fabrics. There's even a vacuum section. Miles guided us seamlessly and was a great help. We would have been lost without his expertise. We had a great visit with no pressure. Miles wrote up a quote for the systems and accessories of interest. My friend thought it over and purchased the Husqvarna the next day.

Regarding a warranty issue, (voided b/c I attempted a repair, didn't know about that clause). They accused me of asking them to lie. What?! I was told they also emailed other shops to throw me under the bus. I thought I was doing them a favor and making the part replacement that much easier - no disassembly and the broken part was definitively revealed. What should have been done was to call the company (Sebo) and ask what was possible. In the end, I called Sebo, and they had no problem covering the warranty and will fix it. Sebo is great, the Aravada Vacuums-R-Us, not so much.
