My go to shop for purchases/service I've been a bike enthusiast for the past 3 years. Brought in my single speed bike a few times for minor fixes. I then bought a new bike from them 1.5 years ago. I've done 3700 miles on the new bike and I've replaced everything but the front fork and rear derailleur, 80% purchased and 65% serviced by King Kog. Chombo got me some new carbon wheels and recommended an oval chainring. He got it done, the wheels needed adapters to fit my 6 bolt disc brakes and I needed new crank arms and a bottom bracket to fit the 4 bolt oval chainring which he installed. Thrilled with both upgrades and installs. I'm there a decent amount (enough for them to know my name when I walk in) and their staff is very knowledgeable, there's been a few times where I have to ride back to the shop to fix something that didn't work right but they've always resolved the issue, for the most part, without charge. Chombo and Pablo have been a pleasure to work with. They know their stuff and it doesn't take long for them to notice issues or figure out how to fix them. The other mechanics are good mechanics but these two really know their stuff. Overall their staff has been super friendly and knowledgeable, the store is well stocked and the website is awesome (shows what's actually in stock). They're a little pricier than other shops but they've been the shop I relied on for the past 3 years and I have yet to go looking for an alternative shop.

This bike shop is the worst in the whole world. I purchased a giant escape from them and the seat and the seat pole were defective. I went and spoke to the owner of the place and he tried to give me the runaround on 3 different occasions with a bullshit story about the problem being fixed. to make a long story short he never fixed or never exchanged the bike as i asked. I had to sell the bike for far less than the $870 I paid for it. I told all my friends and family not to even go near the place

Super big shout out to the whole staff at King Kog. I dropped off my 20 year old mountain bike in for a tune up (1st time, I know, shame on me). They finished in about a day. 1. They did a thorough assessment on the spot of what needed tuning, repair / replaced. I was aware of some of the parts; so I knew more or less what to expect. They were accurate and honest about what new parts I needed. 2. They stayed in contact via email and text during the tune up process to let me know anything else they found. 3. They went the extra mile and added some small parts to help with cable movement. When I left, the bike rode like the first day I left the shop. The shifting and breaking was responsive and crisp, tire pressure exact. I really appreciate the professionalism and courtesy. Thanks to everyone there, especially during this time where a lot more people are riding. You all rock!

Called and asked if they had size and style bike I looking for they checked confirmed and said come on in. Side note have been to about 8 shops looking for a bike. So Went in and talked to guy I spoke on the phone with (Jon). Guy knows his stuff and product in the Shop. He Helped me set up what I wanted and was able to get bike built and sized same day. Dope shop straight shooters. They are super busy but worth it. So bare with them for sure. Hyped on service, Jon was dope appreciate his help and building my bike.

Nice place to stop by if your into bikes or in need of some repairs. They have knowledgeable mechanics that are usually pretty friendly and very knowledgeable about cycling. I've been coming here for many years and it's always a nice atmosphere and good experience.

The staff is very helpful and know theirs stuff when it comes to bikes. They are not as pretentious as other shops tend to be.

The shop is now open at 10!!! Argh I wish the listing or website had been updated! I would have brought my bike in earlier.

I was all set to purchase, but the mechanic (I believe Luis) had me get on the bike and said I needed to size down. He then did an impromptu fit to get everything dialed in. 3 years later, the bike rides like a dream and is a perfect fit and has brought me years of enjoyment.

Unfortunately, for one of his builds, I did use them to get some components that I couldn't source other places and around every corner they drop the ball. We were not notified that parts were on backorder, even though it said when I ordered that they were in stock and would ship within a few days. Another part they ordered the wrong size and along this process, they never let us know what was going on. I had to call to find out why I hadn't received something in a couple weeks and then again to figure out where his stem was. They never returned our calls, which meant I had to take extra time out of my day to call back numerous times. It is unfortunate that they are such a large distributor of Colnago bikes. There's no way I'm going to support this place again. They don't deserve my money and I'm upset about the thousands of dollars I've spent there thus far. It won't happen again.

I read numerous reviews praising this shop not only for their excellent service but also for their honorable business practices. Today, I had the pleasure of confirming that every one of those kind words were true in those reviews with the assistance of Sean. As a new rider with limited knowledge about my bike's needs, I made it clear to Sean that I didn't know bikes and told him to do whatever he thought was best. He could have taken advantage of my inexperience and charged me for unnecessary services, but instead, he walked me through exactly what my bike needed and what it didn't. He charged me a very very fair price to fix it right there on the spot. Thank you, Sean, and the team, for reminding me what great service feels like.

I've been going to this shop on and off for years and recently decided to give it another shot,…read morehoping things had improved. Unfortunately, the experience has been consistently disappointing. While a few staff members have been friendly, there's been a recurring pattern of dismissive and somewhat condescending behavior across multiple visits. Questions and concerns often felt brushed off, and explanations of services -- like what a "free tune-up" actually includes -- were vague or incomplete. There were also several instances where the work itself didn't inspire confidence. A computer mount was left spinning despite being told it was secure, and on another visit, a mechanic refused to use carbon paste on a mount, which didn't feel appropriate for the component involved. What's most concerning is that this wasn't a one-off experience -- it's been a pattern over time. When communication and attention to detail are lacking, it starts to impact both safety and trust, especially on longer rides. Update (Jan 2026): I later found out that a tubeless setup I paid for had barely any sealant in the tires, which explains why a flat wouldn't seal. Another shop had to fix it. At this point, I've decided to take my business elsewhere. I'd recommend double-checking any work before leaving.
