We can bring back the bike we bought from their store within 3 years. They will give us half of the price credit towards another new bike in the store. This time Staff Claudia assisted us. She was at first little occupied but she was friendly overall. She was knowledgeable and helpful. The reason was minus one star is limited display bikes. Many of the rack are empty. Claudia said they have boxes of bike in the back, but they are not built yet. So I picked two styles of bike for them to build, so my son can try them on before buying. We will have to return in a week's time. Another worth mentioning is we fix the brakes on my daughter's bike. They fixe bikes from everywhere including those bought from other places. Technician John McAllister was very helpful and patient. Obviously he was very knowledgeable in what he was doing. He even adjusted seat and adjust other minor parts for free. He let my girl try it on and make sure she was a happy Customer. overall great customer service. great quality bike.

My rear brake was damaged and also a broken spoke. They told me it would be about 45 minutes to repair and sure enough, was repaired within 45 minutes with a job well done.! When I arrived they took me immediately and did the pair at no charge (even though it was possibly unrelated). This is such a professionally run establishment and such a delight to deal with . PS....They offer a very large selection of bikes and skate boards.

At no point should bolts randomly fling off your bike while you going down the Brooklyn bridge going 24mph. I'm a high school student and I had to pay for my bike with my own money. I've spent 3.7k on a bike, this isn't including the repairs i had to pay over the span of a year which amount to at least 1.4k+ after random bolts detaching and motor failing, and as soon as the warranty expired my bike had a random electrical issue where the bike wouldn't accelerate. Quite wonderful…read more Bought a bike from Damon and the process couldn't be easier/better. It was everything I wanted and more. Last year, I tried to buy a bike -- it was impossible. Bike's were in high demand supply couldn't keep up. There are three bike shops in the neighborhood and the other two refused to help. I get it, if bike's are flying off the shelf, there's no real need for customer service. If you know what you want, great. If you don't, well then you can go kick rocks. That was the attitude I was given. But I don't know anything about bikes and buying one is a pretty big commitment/expense. This year, I started thinking about it again. I stopped by Nomad while on a walk. I heard they don't really sell bikes, just repair, and Damon confirmed this. Although, as he turned, he had a bike he was gifted. An old old beater from the 1970's. He was gonna fix it up and sell it. It was almost literally the same bike I was going to buy (a modern version of) online. I was over the moon. He said to come back next week cause he had some other bikes in line to fix up before getting to that one. My OCD started to flare up and I couldn't get it out of my mind that someone else might stop in and pick it up, so I went back the next day with cash in hand. I didn't mind how long it would take, just so long as it didn't disappear. Damon was great, told me there was no need, that he'd hold it for me and we're good. I went back next week, bike looked great. Bike rides great. Damon's got a customer for life. It should be noted that my experience was an outlier; Nomad really doesn't sell bikes, I just got lucky. Also, there's no bike locks and accessories here.
