BikeFixNYC is for anyone out there like me that spent several thousand for an ebike from California that has no support/mechanics here in NYC. Surron, Super73, Onyx, Ghostcat, Revv1, PowerGoat, you name it and BikeFix got you. They honestly do not disappoint. Plus they're honest and trustworthy. I brought my PG V3 for some new rear shocks and Greg did a phenomenal job. He also removed some pegs that I had difficulty with. I won't take my bike anywhere else!

I give the $20 and they argue with me, and someone not involved gets involved and I feel like I'm being attacked. I leave the shop again, and the back tire, just "fixed" is completely flat by the time I got home 5 blocks. I thought the shop was going to be OK, but I cannot recommend it. At no point should bolts randomly fling off your bike while you going down the Brooklyn bridge going 24mph. I'm a high school student and I had to pay for my bike with my own money. I've been working since 10th grade to help my mom because she is a single parent so for me the loss of about 5k including repairs leave me without transportation as I can not afford to repair it at this point. I've spent 3.7k on a bike, this isn't including the repairs i had to pay over the span of a year which amount to at least 1.4k+ after random bolts detaching and motor failing, and as soon as the warranty expired my bike had a random electrical issue where the bike wouldn't accelerate. From the owner Pete: OK, where are you going? (Direct email sent from owner) 1- Last Mile NYC replaces all of the electronics on your bike. The cost of the parts and labor is $2910.54 2- Send your bike back to Super73. They will do their own diagnosis, and determine the issues and fix the problems. Unfortunately your bike is not under warranty, the cost of packing up and freighting your bike to and from Super73 will be around $1200. Plus their diagnostic fee, parts and labor. Unfortunately, the shop is in the middle of my commute, so I've pretty much only gone when I'm in trouble and he's helped swiftly, doing better work than any shop I've been to in the city that's still open. I was hoping to ride a used bike for 15-20 minutes before purchasing and they laughed at me as if this was some bizarre concept. They then spent 20 minutes telling me how stupid I was and that no bike shop would ever allow that. They accused me of just wanting to run an errand. When I told them that a bike shop down the street would let me test ride bikes they spent several minutes finding the phone number of that place and calling that shop. Total waste of time and so rude. If they had a no ride policy they could have just said that instead of ridiculing me. I felt like I was being bullied. I left and went to test out a bike at another shop with no problem. If you want any kind of customer service don't go here. I also looked this shop up afterwards and it turns out they have a record of selling stolen bikes. It was quite dangerous so I dismounted and looked for a bike shop nearby on Yelp. Silly me forgot to bring an allen wrench with me... rookie mistake! When I rank the bell, I was pretty surprised when the owner let me borrow an allen wrench and simply asked me to leave it by the door when I was finished. No charge, no fuss, nothing! I go for the Appointment. $21... ok. then I ask if I change the right side, will my brakes be perfect, and the repair says "yes", so now it's $42, except the right side STILL didn't work and he said, 'oh, you need a new balancer or some BS'. I can't recommend this store at all. the repair guy was so full of his own "expertise", and he let me riding around dangerously with NO brakes, when they're always doing nothing when I look in. He could have found 15 minutes for my safety, in 4 days, but he didn't and I didn't need a new brake cable on the right, he suckered me into it for no reason. Didn't fix anything.
