Trek madone getting done at the shop.

So a great friend recommend this place and took care of exactly what I needed. Order my bike parts for me and in days everything arrived and got it installed, I schedule for an appointment to have the new parts installed and was taken in as soon as I arrived. Top notch service and would like to thank the the staff of this place for being on top of it and taking care of my bike with swift service just have one photo of her when she was done. New parts included stages crank , ceramic speed pulley and they also config my di2 and stages crank to work one pedals moved. Ps: be mindful that the shop is busy especially during Covid and the pandemic which is still causing shops to be busy, this place applied Covid regulations and keep customers outside to be mindful that they wouldn't want to cross contamination of its guest and staff spreading anything which is great. Call ahead and set an appointment to avoid downtime and everyone should be on the same page.

Fresh gouges in frame from basic service

UPDATE: Charlie, the owner I think, called me just after posting to apologize and credit me the charges I was charged. Appreciate the gesture and quick response from them but would rather have paid and not have the permanent damage to my frame. Wish I could give a better review. Might have been a 2 or probably a 3 as I know everything is all crazy these days but simple service should not leave gouges in an alum frame. Would never trust them with my carbon. Long story short, I snapped a shifter cable and also needed a new chain so figured I'd give the LBS some biz. Asked them to also add in line barrel adjuster for the RIGHT side as the left side already had one. The right side was down at the derailure so wanted one within reach when riding on Zwift. After a week I go to pick up the bike to find they removed the already existing working left one and added a new one on the left. Nothing on the right. Good thing I wasn't needing a kidney transplant. Justine was great and helpful in resolving the issue quickly. Too bad a bike that has never been outside and only sits on a trainer has some battle scars. Can't even brag that I got them in a crash. And to the dude wearing the white jawbreakers indoors..lighten up. You ain't so special. U can take me off your waitlist for the roubaix. Max is great too btw.

Smaller branch from their SoHo flagship this Chelsea Shop on the Chelsea west side is organized and a great place to pick up bike accessories for commuting. This branch caters more towards everyday commuters rather than the highend road bikes. You'll find many quick and everyday use items, bike locks, bags, folding bikes, hybrids. A full service area in the back for tune ups and repairs. Most of the inventory is for accessories rather than bikes but its a great shop for the everyday commuter. The staff are helpful and patient and I always have great conversation with them. Alex the store manager was great in explaining their folding bikes and the store services. I'll head here for my everyday bike needs as i work in the area and commute to work daily on my bike.

My bike restored by Matt, after a crash and tire theft.

I just received the best customer service I've had all year for the second time from Matt at Bicycle Habitat. The first time, I crashed my bike a few months ago, resulting in a lot of damage! Within a week, not only had Matt repaired all the damage, he also had the bike in the best shape that it's ever been in. Last week, someone stole my front wheel.Matt was able to pick the perfect wheel replacement from memory of my bike and add me back on the road in two days. Each time, Matt has brought outstanding customer service, technical skill and experience to solving my bike problems. Seek him out !

Just bought my first set of clipless pedals, and they let me get used to clipping in and out in the store for as long as I wanted.

TLDR: asked for a simple tire tube replacement, left with damaged carbon rims…read more I usually do my repairs myself, but didn't have any tools today, so I figured a tire tube replacement is a pretty dead simple job that any bike shop can handle. I walked into Enoch's shop last week, and he quoted me $15 and 10 minutes, and I said sure. As the service continued, I became progressively more apprehensive, but was too polite to tell him "Sorry, I don't trust you anymore. Can we stop?" 1. He clamped my titanium bike on the seattube. One should always clamp on the seatpost, so if any crush damage occurs, it would be easily replaceable. Luckily there was no damage here, but he would have crushed a carbon fiber frame. 2. Unluckily for me, I have carbon fiber wheels. He used a steel vise grip to pull the tire off the rim... I've never had to use anything other than plastic tire levers to get my tire off. This caused dent damage on my flawless carbon rim, as you can see in the attached photo (I did not know this damage occurred until after I already left the shop). I do not know if the damage is just cosmetic or structural, and I will need to contact the manufacturer. 3. When he reattached the wheel to the bicycle, he rested the chain not on the cog, but past the cog on the rear axle, then stretched my rear triangle to handle the extra width, then tightened it down (this I also did not realize until after I had left). This is basic, and so obvious. If he had simply turned the pedal at all, he would see that it's not driving the wheel... When I discovered this, I ran home to get my multitool to relieve the tension on my frame and set it properly. Luckily this does not seem to be permanent damage, as the back wheel still seems aligned properly. If I had a carbon frame, he would have snapped it. At the end he said "I'll need to charge you more, $20, because this took a long time and was very hard". So I came in for a tire tube repair, and left with potentially hundreds of dollars in damage (still awaiting manufacturer reply if the rim is unsafe to ride or not). I made a mistake of bringing something nice here, don't make the same mistake yourself.

At no point should bolts randomly fling off your bike while you going down the Brooklyn bridge going 24mph. I'm a high school student and I had to pay for my bike with my own money. I've been working since 10th grade to help my mom because she is a single parent so for me the loss of about 5k including repairs leave me without transportation as I can not afford to repair it at this point. I've spent 3.7k on a bike, this isn't including the repairs i had to pay over the span of a year which amount to at least 1.4k+ after random bolts detaching and motor failing, and as soon as the warranty expired my bike had a random electrical issue where the bike wouldn't accelerate. From the owner Pete: OK, where are you going? (Direct email sent from owner) 1- Last Mile NYC replaces all of the electronics on your bike. The cost of the parts and labor is $2910.54 2- Send your bike back to Super73. They will do their own diagnosis, and determine the issues and fix the problems. Unfortunately your bike is not under warranty, the cost of packing up and freighting your bike to and from Super73 will be around $1200. Plus their diagnostic fee, parts and labor. I've been in car accidents, road in pouring rain, water, and mud. I've clean my bike on several occasions. But something told me that I should have an overhaul performed on my bike since I had put it through so much. Yup it took me 9 years to decide to do it. SMH. Since I live close to Conrad's and have taken other bikes that I've had to John at Conrad's, I figured why not just do the whole shebang. So John informed me that there was a crack in my carbon fiber fork. Which I was not expecting or wanting to hear. We all know that once carbon fiber is cracked, it's pretty much done. My heart broke hearing this bad news. He did give me options though. He said he would be willing to contact BMC to see if they had another fork to replace mine. But because my carbon fiber bike is 9 years old, they discontinued that particular model. Damn. Then he tried researching others bike dealers to find a fork comparable. Nada. He then told me he knew a guy that could rebuild my fork. And I agreed to have this guy build my fork. It took several weeks due to the work load because it's summer and everyone is riding. I just had to wait my turn. When I got my beautiful bike back, she was gliding everywhere I road her. It was as if I had bought a brand new BMC. And the appearance of my well cleaned and detailed bike was outstanding. I was so impressed with the quality and detailed service John and the guy who repaired my fork had done. I've never been so pleased by anyone inspecting and cleaning my bike ever. Now, I wasn't anticipating the cost of everything, but it was worth the wait and cost because I truly have a "new" bike. They did right by me and my bike. What outstanding and fantastic service. Five stars hands down. Conrad's is the best.
