Pork Egg Rolls
Lillian Z.

Incredible egg rolls! Each roll is massive, exterior is so flaky and crispy, and filling (we got pork) is unbelievably flavorful and juicy.

Whoa, I am way overdue for an update to King Eggroll. They are consistently the best place to get egg rolls and other party trays of food for large gatherings. They have THE best egg rolls! No question. No doubt. I loved their fried sui mai which are stuffed with shrimp, pork, and other goodies. Want some fried shrimp? Get those crispy shrimp balls, although, that texture is more of a shrimp paste than the chunks of shrimp in the fried sui mai. Post-Covid, I haven't seen the same Chinese BBQ meats and dim sum but they do take credit cards now!

Really spacious place and nice people. They have a ticket system when you place an order which can be effective. Overall nothing special about this location. It has the egg rolls and wings. Really convenient spot when you're craving egg rolls. Still one of the best egg rolls in my opinion.

This place is big and clean. Looks like most people come here to order food to-go or to pick up party platters. Fresh food trays keep on being replenished. It was my first time trying their famous egg rolls (chicken, pork) and fried shrimp balls. Very impressed with how hot and fresh these rolls are. We couldn't wait to take some home and we ended up eating all of it on the spot. We will definitely return for some more egg rolls!

They accept cards! I noticed an "x" on their Yelp page, so I placed a pickup order via DoorDash instead. I was in a rush, didn't think to go on the website. Parking wasn't bad at 10:45, but it was congested on Story Rd. Once we walked in, I saw the kiosk and learned they accept cards. The nice woman explained that ordering for pickup via DoorDash cost a lot more, that ordering from their website for pickup would be more cost efficient. I will make a note of that for next time. I wanted to order a tray of vegetarian eggrolls for the get together today. It was a meetup for other foster moms through the San Jose Animal Care Center. It was a nice turnout. I was so glad I ordered from here. I could have gotten pinwheels from Costco or a tray of something from Safeway but bringing something hot and fresh made my dish popular at the food table. I also ordered a combination plate for Gavin; he opted for fried rice and 2 portions of orange chicken and a bottle of Diet Coke. Because I found out they accept cards, I ordered a shiu mai, 3 pork eggrolls, and 3 vegetarian egg rolls as well. I typically don't eat at a potluck, mainly because I knew we would only be there for an hour and I didn't want to pick at a tray I brought. It came in a nice tray in a box and a side of sweet and sour sauce. Service was great!!! The shiu mai was delicious and juicy!

Best Eggrolls I've ever had. We drove from LA to the bay and had to make this our first stop. Flavorful and crispy. The shrimp balls were also huge and delicious and is a definite must try. Wish we had something similar nearby.

Solid egg rolls, and the red bean sesame balls were good as well, locals in the area swore by their egg rolls too. The fried chicken was yummy the breading was good but there wasn't a lot of seasoning

Customers waiting in 1 line for pickups and to place an order.

Extremely bad service. I placed a phone order for pickup yesterday. I came in to pickup my order the next day and I still need to wait in line. I've been waiting in line for over 30 minutes and the employees have no sense of urgency. They are working very inefficiently and do not know how to manage a restaurant. I would not recommend buying from king eggroll ever again due to the awful management and service.

The combination plate has not enough sauce for the pork and too many peppers for the Kung pao chicken. Too many peas in the fried rice.

I should've checked Yelp Reviews before ordering from this place. Overall, it was mediocre. That's about the best I can say about it. There are so many options for good Chinese food that you can skip this place unless it's close by and convenient. FOOD: nothing about this place stood out unless you want to count negative comments. The fried rice had huge chunks of egg and way too many peas. The sweet-and-sour pork did not have enough sauce and only covered about half of the pork. The Kung pow chicken was more vegetable and chicken, and the chicken that it did have was overcooked and dry and flavorless. the pork egg roll was too oily. Overall, just very unsatisfying. SERVICE: we had DoorDash deliver so I don't know for sure what the people were like but the food arrived cold which is pretty much the worst service you can get COST: the best part about this place is that for the quantity of food it's a decent price. Of course if you want mediocre blend food then this is perfect.

The food itself was very good and the portions were pretty sizable. Even though no one was there the place was pretty dirty and we got there at 10:30 AM, the bathrooms were scary because of how slick they were. Other than that everything was fine, the ladies working there were very straightforward and not very friendly towards customers.

The pork fried rice had huge chunks of ham in it

Other than a few items coming out less than warm, (and yes I'm not talking about the items that come out cold already) all of us really enjoyed everything! Big problem though, the service. Waiter is very much not attentive to anyone. Doesn't look customers in the eye, provides minimal service, hell, we had to ask the support staff to bring us chopsticks for food we had delivered to us 10 minutes ago, which grew cold. He never checked in on us, and we were charged 20% gratuity since we were 12 people. I don't mind auto-gratuity, but when the service is nonexistent, it really doesn't sit well. Overall it was a good experience, but the service is the deciding factor of anyone one of us 12 returning. Really unfortunate service from our waiter, other support staff seemed really nice, but he wasn't in charge of taking care of us, sadly. We were thoroughly ignored. Again, food was good, but service was so poor that this review is mainly negative. Edit: to top is off, delivered the wrong food twice, we cancelled our pork belly buns because they took too long/he ordered mala buns for us instead. Another addition: charged us twice for sea salt cream that we didn't order, and tried to say that we did order it.

The food is delicious! Definitely recommend the bbq chicken fried rice and sweet and sour pork. Seating area is more so just for waiting for pickup. No sit down and eat since tables are stacked up. We got a couple of dishes and they came out at lightning speed. * Chowmein-3/5- delicious with lots of umami flavor but shockingly greasy. I mean I am used to oily noodles but this one exceeded some limits. *crispy salt and pepper eggplant-3/5- I had a stellar version of this dish at another restaurant in Sunnyvale and was stoked when I saw this on the menu here. Unfortunately it was a poor representation of the dish I loved there. The batter was too much and the dish felt heavy.
