Went here for a quick coffee fix and a light snack. We ordered a Vietnamese ice coffee, ice mocha, 2 chicken egg rolls, shrimp spring rolls w/peanut sauce, & a pork banh bao. The drinks were strong and the appetizer were delicious. We wished they had fish sauce but it was still yummy. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

Very nice, approachable, accommodating people! Place was clean and spotless! Love their Chaud pastry and a hot Vietnamese coffee to end the gloomy night

Lee Sandwiches No ac. Hot. Your average Vietnamese sandwich shop. We came here because this was sister's place for sandwiches. After eating... not bad. Pretty good. I'm told this place has been around for years. Worth another trip. Will try other sandwiches next time. OMG, I did not know I came across a major restaurant chain. Wow. They have over 10 restaurants all over. Incredible. When you have that many restaurants, it's hard to make every restaurant special and unique. The owner should take better action to make sure everyone is working to achieve greatness. Highly recommended

Prices have gone up significantly. Detailed breakdown below: **Price & portion, 4/5** Prices have basically doubled since I first started coming here, but the quality has stayed about the same. Still a solid place to come for some classic Vietnamese food and snacks. **Presentation of the food, 5/5** Super colorful and love how all the options are laid out. **Taste of the food, 4/5** - Banh chung, 4/5: I recommend taking this home, slicing it up, and pan frying to get it crispy on the outside! Put it in the fridge as soon as you get home if you don't eat it right away though, because it won't last long at room temp. - Coconut jelly, 5/5: Solid dessert! A go to for me when I come here. - #1 cold cut combo sandwich, 4/5: Wish they added cucumber to the veggies here like some other banh mi places. Otherwise pretty solid. **Other notes** Parking is a total nightmare in this plaza -- crowded and dirty. Park in the plaza nextdoor and walk over.

Always enjoy eating a Lee sandwich. The bread is freshly baked in store, it's soft and fluffy inside and has a nice outer crunch. I could eat the bread all by itself just because its so good. Well today we walked away feeling disappointed and a bit frustrated. Asked about the smoothies and were told they are made with fruit and syrup. I felt I was brushed off because the employee was more focused on a private conversation with another person. Tried a couple of times to get an order in but I was invisible, so it seamed. Finally decided to leave as employee walked away and left me talking to myself, ugg.

So word on the street is if you are in San Jose you have to have a sandwich from this place. So of course it was on my list to try. The chicken sandwich is to die for. It's pretty large so if you aren't hungry and there are two of you I suggest splitting it. While I had chicken there is pork and I think beef too. You can request extra meat. It doesn't look like much on the outside but it is actually some goodness inside.

From the moment we walked in, it was clear this place is struggling. The fridge by the entrance looked unkempt, the kitchen felt more like a cramped kitchenette than a professional setup, and the dining area was completely chaotic. The tables and chairs piled up everywhere with absolutely no place to sit. The food only confirmed my suspicions. Their pork tasted like plain pork. You know you're at a good bánh mì spot when the grilled pork carries the smoky, caramelized flavor of barbecue chicken, but here, there was none of that. The bread was technically good, crispy on the outside and soft inside, but even that couldn't save the experience. I came with my sister, who had never tried bánh mì before, and it was a terrible first impression for her. Between the run-down environment, the underwhelming food, and the sense that the place might be on its last legs, it was not worth our time or appetite. I will definitely not be returning

The shop is quite small, so it is definitely a grab-and-go place. Their only menu item is a banh mi with various fillings. Each banh mi was $7.50, a very fair price. I ordered several fillings, including grilled pork, combination, and pork belly. They have a buy 3 get 1 free deal. Keep in mind: this place only accepts cash. The cashier was so kind, and my order arrived quickly. I was impressed with the size of each banh mi. A single banh mi was so filling. The baguette was filled with daikon, cucumber, jalapeno, cilantro and meat. The grilled pork was my absolute favorite: the meat was cooked to perfection. This is the perfect speedy lunch. It doesnt have the best front store or inside store appeal but its definitely authentic. These ladies start making their food early in the morning. I came at 715 one morning and the glass windows were already foggy (mainly because it was freezing inside and they were cooking up a storm inside). The older ladies were in the back, seated in a low seat, shredding carrots and radish into big bowls. It doesn't get more authentic than these guys. As for the sandwich, it was about $1-$3 cheaper than Duc Huong and their sandwiches do not cut the roof of your mouth! Doc Huong sandwiches are too tough for me and I prefer the softer, fresh french bread. Duc Huongs meat is also a bit too charred for me while Thien Huong's meat is a bit more juicier and tender. If I was in the area, I'd come back 100%.

We got our usuals with choux (Kaya and Ube), Pandan-Coconut Milk Bread and Banh Bo (honeycomb cake). The mention worthy Guava filled Mochi Cake was so good! A yummy tip that elevates this baked good was when I toasted it (4 minutes) in an airfryer. The crunchy surface with the chewy mochi texture plus the sweet guava stuffing was the perfect ratio I was looking for in a dessert pastry. And they have a few tables on the side if you want to dine in. Besides sandwiches, they have pre-done appetizers, meals, desserts, in containers all ready for purchasing. The only drawback to this experience was a panhandler asking for food inside the establishment! The workers did not do anything as she went from one person to another asking for food. Our friend, who was with us actually bought her a $12 meal that she picked out. We thought she was done begging others, but to our surprise, she was hounding others outside after she had just gotten the meal. This shouldn't be done inside a place of business. Just a warning to others that she's around.
