Cash only market/banh mi shop in the heart of Little Saigon. Sandwiches were very reasonable at about $8 a piece, some were maybe $8.50-$9, but $8 seemed to be the standard. I got the grilled pork banh mi (#8) and thought it was super flavorful! Very different than any other pork banh mi I've had as it kinda had a curry flavor. There's no seating inside or out so you do have to take it to go. I was starving so I ate it in my car before continuing on with my day.

#8: bánh mì with grilled pork. Cross section after a couple bites to expose the ratio of fillings.

Convenience store that makes sandwiches, some desserts, and beverages. It's cash only, so be advised. I ordered the #8 (grilled pork). Overall, Solid 3.5/5! Flipped a coin to decide which I'd give them here on Yelp. Good: The grilled pork is exactly what I'm looking for in a bánh mì. Super flavorful sauce that had a sweet and savory flavor with earthy spices. Plenty of veg to add texture and crunch as well as some moisture. Sliced chilis were not spicy at all, but that might've been their judgment call from their impression of me. (No complaints, honestly) It's a pretty hefty sandwich so $8 is pretty worth it! Bad: The bread. I find it a bit too hard as it behaves like day old French bread reheated in the toaster oven, and disintegrates into an explosion of crumbs when you bite into it. If the bread is your favorite part, avoid this place . That being said, it didn't ruin the sandwich for me. Service had no negatives from me. Ladies in the back are friendly and polite!

#4 Banh Mi Trung

If you're looking for a Banh Mi Trung...and don't have time to wait in a long queue across the street...come support these ladies. The portion and flavors were just right for my liking. There are also a lot of snacks and drinks to choose from...AND a wide variety of 3-in-1 coffee packs for sale. My first time visiting, and will definitely be back when I'm in the area. Just remember... it's cash only.

A must stop if I'm in the area! The staff is friendly and attentive. There is plenty of parking around. I've tried several drinks here and my go to are the Hazelnut Mocha #18, Mungbean Milk w/ Pandan (must try) #22, and #35. All of them are delicious and they have a unique taste. When I come here, I also make sure to take a #5 sandwich to go. It comes with eggs and sausage. I've tried the other sandwiches but this is my favorite one. The bread is fresh and the food tastes fresh. If you want to make a quick stop and get some delicious Vietnamese items to go, this is the place!

Lynda Sandwich can be easy to miss since they're tucked away in the plaza. They have lots of snacks to purchase on top of banh mi. There's no indoor seating, so all orders are to go. I had purchased 2 grilled pork banh mi ($7.50 each). It was a bit pricey compared to another store I usually purchase mine at. They filled it with a lot of meat, but not so much on the veggies. The cucumbers didn't seem as fresh or crunchy. I heard their chicken one was really good, so I want to come back and try that one. If you're really craving banh mi, they'll satisfy your cravings.

Just found out about this to go place last year. I have been to their other location in SoCal and their sandwiches here in SJ ARE just a good. The store is very neat and straightforward. They have lots of Asian snacks as well and the workers make it very welcoming. The service is very fast. My family and I placed an order one day and decided to walk and get some boba in the plaza and then come back to pick up our sandwiches. Little did we know, they closed at 4pm and when we came back, their gate was closed. The worker was nice enough to wait for us and handed us our sandwiches. Always recommend this place to anyone who like ban mi

Came here to pick up dinner before work around 4:45 pm, a little bit before closing! The cashier was friendly and waited patiently while I looked at the menu. I ordered the Lynda Special for $6.25 and took it to-go for work. I didn't end up eating the sandwich until much later, maybe 4 hours after I bought it. To my surprise, it was still really flavorful and the bread wasn't soggy at all. It was still pretty tasty. The sandwich is definitely much better when it's fresh and warm, but the banh mi was still pretty decent hours later! Very satisfying and somewhat impressed. Overall, I want to go back and try more that's on their menu.

Only thing I disliked was cash only. Long lines. Long wait time during some days. Popular spot for Vietnamese snacks and sandwiches. $7/$7.50 range to $8.25 per regular sandwich. Tasted great. I enjoyed the stop. Excellent customer service. Speaks Vietnamese and some English. You can buy CA lottery tickets from the machine too. I usually order their Lynda Special on top list and a grilled pork banh mi. Delicious. Good portion size. Good price. Packed with generous vegetables, especially my favorite-the carrots. I am totally satisfied. Felt good inside. No tables or chairs for dine-in here. Stand and wait. Grab and go. Originally, I ordered two sandwiches. Cashier thought I only ordered one sandwich. That's why it took a bit long after 10+ other customers got their orders before me. We did come to resolutions and she did apologize and fixed my order. They speak more Vietnamese here. Overall, good convenient location and great sandwich spot. Tastes as good as it looks. Decent banh mi sandwiches. Yummy.

Great spot for a fast sandwich and Vietnamese coffee! There is hardly a line which makes it very easy to get your fix. The #2 is what I get and the bbq pork one as well. The sandwiches are not too full as others, the bread is firm outside and soft inside, but it's good so you can enjoy other sweets and drinks around the area. The service is great and I have no complaints.

Cute, tiny shop! They were a little bit busy around 10AM on a Saturday when we went - there was a short line. They are so quick, though! We got our items within a matter of minutes. They are cash only so be sure to bring enough cash! I also had a little bit of trouble understanding them over the phone due to ambient noise. But eventually we put in our order and she confirmed again when we went to pick it up. Overall the flavor of the combination che I got was deeeelicious. I'm a sucker for pandan jelly. This little shop tucked away in the corner of Little Saigon is definitely a hit! We will be back for more che for sure, maybe even for other stuff because it looked like the store was packed with goodies.

(did not get a sandwich) Disappointing that a 7$ corn milk tastes like it was a pre-mix powder.

It comes packed with rice paper, basil, beef, chicken jerky, pork rinds, boiled egg, mango, and sautéed shrimp. You get a little bit of everything in each bite. Presentation wise, it looks super good right when you open the container. Before eating, you definitely want to mix it really well so all the flavors come together. They also give you a glove, which makes it way easier (and less messy) to toss everything properly. Flavor wise, it's a nice balance of savory, tangy, and a little sweet from the mango. The textures are also really satisfying: chewy, crunchy, and soft all at once. Service was quick and efficient. The wait for the food was only a few minutes, which made it perfect for a quick snack shop. The staff were also friendly, and everything felt smooth and easy. Overall, it's a great spot if you're looking for something different and snacky to share with friends. I'd come back again to try more!

I love that the rice paper itself was flavorful, savory, spicy, shrimpy and garlicky. The tamarind sauce on the side was sweet and tangy. I like to pour it over the rice paper so it softened up. I also like the toppings they added for the mixed combo rice paper, nice blend of texture and flavors from jerky, pork rinds, mango, and egg. My personal favorite topping was the Vietnamese coriander, perfect to pair with the rice paper. I highly recommend the combo mixed rice paper. I also got their milk tea & coconut kumquat to try & tbh they were super disappointing. The milk tea & coconut kumquat were unbearably sweet, I couldn't even get to half of the cups. For the milk tea, the tea scent didn't pulled through at all. I was basically sipping on burnt sugary milk. Overall, giving this place 3/5 star because they need to improve their drinks.

The shop itself is a bit small, so it may not be the easiest place to study for long periods, but it has a great atmosphere, good vibes, and a very welcoming environment. Temperatures were just under 90 degrees Fahrenheit outside. The air conditioning was great in here, not freezing cold but cool enough to be comfortable. There were a few other tables of people with their laptops out, and I was excited to see that they have expanded since my last visit and added more seating for customers. The lotus milk tea is still one of my favorites in the whole city. We sat at a table so there was no outlet, but I can't remember if there were outlets along the walls for the booth seating. The WiFi worked well and if there was background music it was not being blasted loudly. I would definitely keep this spot top of mind if I needed a reliable spot to work remote again, especially since there is now more seating than there used to be. Looking forward to coming by again soon!
