The flavor was not too bad, but the shrimp flavor did not come through as much. The Yunnan rice noodle soup with pork and pickled cabbage was good, and the soup itself had nice flavor, but I wish it had more meat. Beef and scallion dumplings were average. Sauteed greens were solid and definitely necessary to balance out the meal. Service was relatively quick, which was nice since we ordered a good amount of food. I mean I am used to oily noodles but this one exceeded some limits. *crispy salt and pepper eggplant-3/5- I had a stellar version of this dish at another restaurant in Sunnyvale and was stoked when I saw this on the menu here. Unfortunately it was a poor representation of the dish I loved there. The batter was too much and the dish felt heavy. The hot oil or sauce they had felt old and extremely vinegary as well, I would recommend avoiding it.
