Stopped for unplanned lunch at this buffet right off of hwy 75. We were pleasantly surprised with the selection of entrée and dessert. They also have a Mongolian grill and chocolate fondue fountain. We arrived around 2:30 for lunch buffet on a Saturday, that's one hour before their dinner time. The place was buzzing and we had a 10-15 min wait time. Typically, I don't expect a buffet to be more than 3 stars. I am giving it a 4 for the above average buffet flavor and excellent service by our server. The manager, however, gets 0 star, bcs while we were leaving, I heard him telling a guest (single, older lady who happened to come little before dinner cutoff and picked up crabs after they put those out for dinner), that she couldn't eat that because she came during lunch. I found it very unprofessional and rude. I m sure there r better ways to handle it than confronting a patron in their booth surrounded by neighboring tables. I know it maybe wrong but give her the benefit of the doubt that she didn't realize the mix-up. On contrary, our server Cong brought the check to us a min before dinner time so we didn't have to pay for dinner instead of lunch as our time was overlapping a bit. Chinese buffets are one of my guilty pleasures... I can eat all the crab rangoons my heart desires. As far as selection goes they have plenty. Chinese fare, cold/salad station, mongolian grill, sushi, fried foods, and seafood. You can only get crab legs and crawfish during the weekend or weekday dinner though. There's really only a few things I eat there. Most of the Chinese foods are pretty good. I love the lo mein. Egg drop and hot and sour soups are good. Sushi is even fairly decent (haven't gotten sick yet). For dessert, they have a huge chocolate fountain! So good if you can get away with dipping your ice cream cone in it. The chocolate will create a hardshell around the ice cream. Service is surprisingly pretty attentive. Not only are they good clearing your plates but get you drink refills without asking! read more

Said "I'm sorry," and walked off and never returned to clean up the mess. Make sure you ask for Jessica because she kept a smile the whole time throughout our service even when there were other customers giving her and her fellow employees a hard time. This is a very good restaurant to go to. their snow crabs , however, are only available on Friday nights and the rest of the time it fried crabs are so small that you have to eat, like the whole thing with the shell and all. We've come here a couple of times during the pandemic, and it still surprises me how they can maintain their prices. The food is not great, but at around $10 for lunch, it's definitely worth it. The fruit is surprisingly fresh as well. The best items have to be the stuffed crab shells and the sushi. The fried food is hit or miss, with some of the chicken either being rock-hard dry, or surprisingly tender. Overall, this is a spot that I will come back to for sure. read more

Compared to Las Vegas of course it doesn't match at all, but for a small place in the middle of TX I thought it was pretty damn good for the price. On a Friday night it was pretty packed but they managed to get a table for 2 in about 20mins, so be prepared to wait. The sushi selection was surprisingly good. All the rolls were made fresh, and the taste was on point. In addition they had seaweed salad, crab salad and even baby octopus. The Chinese food and fried selection were fresh and tasty as well. From egg rolls to crab Rangoons, and anything Panda Express would have, and even a cook to order grill, where you put everything in a bowl and hand it to the chef and in 5mins you have fresh custom made stir-fry and noodles. The seafood selection, so much to choose from, crab legs, crawfish, clams, shrimp, octopus. All tasted pretty good. The crab legs weren't as good as I hoped but then again better than expected from a place like this. Desserts were the only thing that lacked. Just basic pastry and fruits and a chocolate fondue and soft serve ice cream. So if you're in the area I'd say try it. Just remember it gets busy for crab legs so it may be a long wait, but I'd say it's worth it. read more

We had dinner on Monday evening earlier this week. Service was good, place was nice but food was simply just ok. They have a mongolian grill where you can build your own bowl, a fairly good-looking sushi variety, a chocolate fountain and all of your typical Chinese buffet foods. My appetite fizzed after I discovered the crawfish I plated was still raw. I told our waitress who said she would address it with the manager, but I never saw anyone change out the crawfish at the buffet. I also never received an apology (nor a discounted meal, not that I was expecting one anyways). For the price you're paying, I'd suggest going elsewhere for better food. read more

It's $14.99 for dinner on Fridays because Fridays are the only days they have crab legs. They have a Mongolian grill which is basically a mini-Genghis Grill. You put all your desired ingredients (meats, noodles, sauces, spices, veggies) into a bowl and they'll grill everything for you. There's also a small sushi area and I have to admit some of the sushi kind of sucks but some rolls are actually okay. Americanized Chinese food? They got plenty of that! Beef & broccoli, orange chicken, etc. They have a fried food section as well that I was rather impressed with because none of the fried foods I grabbed were overly greasy. My dad and I are fans of their salt & pepper fried shrimp, he also likes the clams. I wouldn't have tried this one if I I had not read the reviews on Yelp, (thank you fellow Yelpers), and saw all of the parked cars on the lot every time I drove by. This restaurant is different from the Chinese buffets I've been to in NY, NJ, and the one I ate at somewhere here in TX (that place was awful). King buffet is clean, they clear the plates off the tables quickly, the staff is nice, and the food is delicious. I was amazed at the variety of food. This restaurant did not disappoint me at all. I will return, (though not too often because I have to maintain a healthy weight). This place is new, so I just hope they will keep up the good work. Mom and I had lunch at the buffet today. Very nice and clean place. The food was hot and fresh. The seafood spread is awesome. They have mussels, clams, octopus, shrimp and three types of fish. The service was excellent. The staff kept asking if things were okay and did we need anything. I can not say enough about the food. Everything I tried was wonderful. I will definitely go back to this place. But FYI if you go on the weekend , be sure to arrive around 11 after that the wait starts to form in the lobby. read more

The $8.49 weekday lunch buffet is not bad! The location is clean, spacious, bright, and brand new. I came during the busy lunch rush on Mon at noon, so the food was fresh and hot. They have a sushi section which is decent for how cheap the buffet is. I went for the salmon nigiri and spicy tuna rolls. Obviously not top quality sushi, but still hits the spot. Desserts include a chocolate fountain to cover your marshmallows and fruits in. But don't waste your time on the soft serve ice cream; it's more sugar than milk or cream. OMG, we came here after visiting my wife's cousins family on our trip to Dallas. The place was packed so getting a table for 14 took a while. Still, it was nice to be able to meet the entire family of cousins on my wife. We ended up getting to 2 tables next to each other but not connecting since they were round tables. It was fine since we still stuck to the adults (now 50+) and the kiddies (now 20+). Whatever, we still stick to tradition to just talk about our lives now whether in college or newly married life. The buffet was pretty extensive and I enjoyed especially the Mongolian grill part. You get an empty plate to fill with you ingredients from vegetables, meat, and noodles. The chef will go around a large circular stove top to stir fry your dish with some sauce. There was sushi which was fine since I was a little skeptical. Also, there were many different selection of premade stir fry as well as seafood selection. After your big meal, there was dessert with a huge chocolate fountain with dipping skewers. You could choose from cut fruit to marshmallows. Also, there is a soft serve ice cream which was nice too. Well, the waiting service was really on top of the plates at our table. In the end, I wished we could have stayed longer. It was memorable to have my wife and I telling the younger cousins about our college days. Plus, my wife and her sister got some good training opportunity on their iPhones on using some app. Anyways, I think everyone got to bond on juicy gossip of the next one getting married as well as who dating who... It was a Friday and Crab Legs night. Which means there was a crowd. The number system used to keep up with guests waiting for a table seems the best way possible to handle the crowd. That being said there isn't enough room in the main waiting area for everyone so they should put a speaker in the second waiting area so guests out there can hear the numbers being called. It's a traditional buffet: all the normal food items (I'm a seafood lover so shrimp fish clams mussels squid octopus!!!) and the crab legs yummy. We went to Best Buffet last weekend for dinner as a big family gathering. The food here was average, at best; however I did like their selection. There was a large variety of foods and I'm a fan of anywhere with unlimited crab legs. Other than the crab legs, there were not too many excellent dishes. The lobster tasted bad and the sushi was unpalatable. The service on the other hand was very good. We had my 11 mos. nephew with us who made a big mess, but the waiter was very nice and played with him. He also was very timely at removing plates when we were done with them and there was never any clutter on our table. If you're looking for Chinese American food and a lot of it - this is your place. I went on a Friday around 7:30 and it was c r o w d e d - but worth it. I had a craving for simple egg drop soup, lo mein and basic dishes. We found it all here and then some. I was impressed at how the hot tables were divided and how they were refilled often with fresh food. The standouts for me were the string beans and crab legs.
