We decided to stay at Epic ahead of our cruise out of Miami. It's not too far from the port and Brickell isn't a bad neighbor to be based in. I also have history here, used to stay here when they first opened years ago and would stay here consistently when I traveled to Miami for work regularly. Back then, it was new, fresh, and striving to be on top of their game. Despite the 3.5 star review, I figured we should give them another shot. Plus they were part of the AMEX Hotel Collection and a hotel group we know and have had good experiences with (IHG). Generally though, Epic isn't horrible, it's just lost some of the luster it once had unfortunately. First off, all of the team here we've come across have been great. Friendly, welcoming, etc. Service for the most part has been solid so far. Where they've fallen down is related to the space itself. The building isn't as striking as it once was. You walk in and the high ceilings and wide spaces are still pretty impressive. Waterfront views and vibes are great. Thing is, the unique elements aren't really there like I remember. Compared to other properties in this category, that stood out. But not a huge issue for us. Zuma is a vibe, unfortunately, Area 31 is under renovation (at least the restaurant area). When we got to the room. It wasn't bad. Good size, decently appointed. It wasn't completely worn but it definitely felt aged. The furniture is showing its age some. Cleaning was just ok and seemed a little rushed. It wasn't nasty so don't want to overemphasize too much. Curtains seem like they've been in service a while. Things like pillows were pretty flat. Things like the privacy button/door bell wasn't functioning so we had to ask for a privacy hang tag. Again, none of this was abysmal, just not what we expected and could have been better. But again, not horrible enough for us to pack up and walk out. I'd give the room a B-, my wife gave it a C+. We got a room on a higher floor with a sizable balcony which was a nice touch. Looks a little like maintenance on it was also rushed. Overall, I think Epic still has "good bones" and a ton of potential to get back to its previous days. After disembarking a cruise, my friend and I obtained ResortPasses to the spa at the Kempton epic. We had about 2 1/2 hours before we needed to head to the airport and thought it was a great way to spend the afternoon. We called ahead of time and found out you could check in an hour before the ResortPass listing which was helpful. There was also a small tax that we would have to pay of four dollars per person on top of the ResortPass fee, for use of the Somadome machine. The Somadome machine is like sensory deprivation, but you wear all your clothes and you wear headphones for guided meditation. Overall, we had a nice stay and enjoyed the locker rooms, the sauna, the gym, the barre class, the showers, the salt therapy, and the relaxation room. Throughout our time there there were only two other guests that we in frequently encountered. A couple other people stop by for massages and waited to be called in by their massage therapists in the relaxation room for a short time. read more

Great location to downtown Miami and Miami Beach. This is our second time staying here and both times have been very good. During rush hour it can take a while to drive say from the hotel to Miami Beach, but it is t terrible. The hotel has a great breakfast and decent room service. They have a nice fitness center and great pools with pool side service for food and drinks along with a live DJ on Friday's and Saturday's. There are a few areas in the room that could use some TLC with maintenance and cleaning, but overall a great hotel. read more

I have been here a couple times over the years. One time was for an event and another was to get some drinks. I remember enjoying the experiences. It is an upscale experience. Well, I came back on Sunday for a mini work event. I wasn't here more than an hour. I will be back today and I am looking forward to it. The hotel has amazing views. They also have a very nice restaurant here. I do remember the pool area being so pretty. There is only valet parking which I find to be a negative. The conference room we were in Sunday was comfortable. I am making a presentation to 50 people today so hopefully I will still like it as much. Wish me luck! read more

Came here for the Pool250 event for Independence Day with my friend, FeiFei. Drinks poured with a heavy hand, but there is a mandatory 22% service fee for drinks, which are paid by tickets. $5 each ticket and 3 tickets for each drink. Immensely expensive. Pool was nice, but I wish that there was a hot tubjacuzzi. Lots of staff around to host with drinks, music, and hygiene. The bathroom was so clean, too! Just not that much parking outside, which was not too much of a mind for us because we rode via uber to and from this location. Pool is on the 16th floor, which was a stunning view with the skyscrapers and the waterfront. Mandatory $25 admission to this event if you are not a hotel guest or resident here. No reentries :( the couches and chairs reserved only for those who paid, which was not made clear with any signs. Security guards had to notify themselves about that. Also, staff should be on same page on where to find food and drinks then how to pay for them if someone wants them. read more

I love, love this hotel. I've stayed on numerous occasions -- both for work and pleasure. The entry is light and airy. It feels like you're IN Miami, if that makes sense. It's sexy and sleek. Overall I enjoyed my stay at the Kimpton EPIC hotel. The room was clean and I enjoyed the balcony in the mornings and night. Elevators were pretty fast as well so you're not left constantly waiting. The gym was a decent size with clean equipment which is on the same floor as the pool and spa. Guest services were quick to bring up extra towels and hand soap. The opening from the bathroom to the actual room I find to be odd since you can hear someone shower/bathe since it's only covered but a pull down curtain. Unless you're staying in a "honeymoon suite" it's kind of useless in my opinion. The first night we got in a little later than expected, and the restaurant had closed at 11 which I thought was a little early for Miami so we were directed downstairs. It turns into a very "night club" vibe with a pretty strict dress code. It seemed like a lot of people that are not guests or residences go to and which we were not dressed for. Be careful not to pass it when pulling into the main entrance--big entrance and spacious. Don't rush if you are waiting for the valet to retrieve your car, as it took over 15 minutes after requesting it via the link sent via text. Easy process checking in. The front desk person had a bit of an attitude, but it could be due to the time of day. You need a room key to access the elevators. The room was nice and clean. However, the shower pressure was not great. Nevertheless, the view outside the room was awe-inspiring. And it's pretty spacious outside as well. The bed was very stiff and hard, and there was no alternative in the closet for non-feather pillows. And the pillows were so flat very uncomfortable for a night rest. No ice machine that I could see on the floor, the refrigerator was stocked so I did enjoy a drink. Room service menu was pretty good. The value is high for the quality of the room and bed. FIVE STARS! EVERYTHING WAS SPECTACULAR AND IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. The staff went above and beyond for the holidays. The restaurant had a great wait staff and accomodations due to my allergens. I loved most the complimentary wine during my check-in, which is available from 5-6pm, and the coffee bar in the mornings that also server hot cocoa. The ambiance during the festive season with the Christmas tree up was nice and inviting. I loved that the lobby is spacious and clean. Our room was wonderful. Such a great location near Bayside Marketplace and the cruise port. We stayed here as part of the Amex Platinum fine hotels program. $200 refund on the room price and $100 to spend at the hotel. They let you use the $100 toward the parking fee. Parking is crazy expensive but it's a right in downtown Miami. We were surprised that they charge tax on the parking and resort fee, so over $100 just in fees on top of the room rate. The hotel is so pretty and all the staff is friendly. If you're looking for a great spot for a smaller sized event/meeting/conference in Miami the Epic will not disappoint. After 8 days of living at this hotel for our event, I truly felt taken care of in every way - from Maria in events, to Eddy in AV, to Eduardo at the front door - the front desk staff the lovely housekeeping folks who dealt with my room as I made many daily outfit changes, and everyone who was all in to help me and our group every step of the way. Rooms have beautiful views, big soaking tubs, and real accurate thermostats (not one of those that says it's 71 but you know it's really like 75 to save $$$). Also - can't forget to mention - I don't sleep well at hotels for the most part but I slept so well at this hotel that I actually looked forward to getting a good nights sleep each evening. read more

Excellent front desk experience. My sis spoke to gal so I didn't get her name she's pretty has Italian name parents came from Italy? She couldn't have been nicer very professional! Room was very clean good size large bathroom. I couldn't use shower as I couldn't get water in my eye and it was big rain showerhead! I was also afraid of tub being sight impaired can't remember if there was grab handle but quite high tub! Very quiet room but I'd suggest high floor as there's lots of loud traffic if u r facing road which wasn't a problem! We were high up great view anyway at night. It was free room for me they ihg credit card and was very happy with it. Usually free rooms are in dumps so I was very pleased! Breakfast no charge was excellent. Service with Juan he's perfection!!! Good latte great fruit cup etc. my omelette was way too done for me but the rest was excellent I'd probably just order eggs! We really were pleased staying here. Came to Miami for a 3-day business trip and our work meetings were in the same hotel so it was very convenient. The 16th floor has a lounge restaurant and opens out to the pool area with tables and also a bunch of little alcoves with couch seating - really beautiful and nice. Every evening they have a complimentary wine in the lobby at 5-6 pm. The rooms don't have coffee makers and they don't provide those but they provided us with a kettle to boil water for tea. They have complimentary coffee and tea downstairs in the lobby every morning. We had dinner at the restaurant on the 16th floor one night. Food was good and so was the service and the ambiance. It's in a convenient location to the city center. We went to the Putt Shack one evening and then dinner at Italian restaurant Bellilos nearby. Overall great experience in this hotel. read more

AMEX FHR customer stay away. This hotel is okay, not the best. The restaurant, Area 31 is great with amazing staff like Jose and Carolina who treated me like I was entering their own home. The front desk staff like Domenica, Gerald, Angel, and Valeria are superb. Esp Valeria and Gerald who helped me out a TON. Valeria made sure I was comfortable and service and entire time and Gerald treated me like I was his best friend and advised me on routes to get back to the airport. The area 31 staff makes you feel like you're at at 5 star restaurant and the AMEX credits help out a ton too. I had an amazing spa and pool day on Sunday and the amenities here cannot be beat. I wouldn't stay here again but I had a good experience here with my first time in Miami, the hotel was very close to Brickell and downtown Miami and it was easy to get to South Beach, Opa Locka, Miami Gardens and other parts of Dade County that I had plans l visiting. I am typically a Hilton Honors kinda guy but the free breakfast credit and $100 stay credit that I put towards spa treatment made it worth it. The entire staff at the spa was AMAZING, my spa associate performed a facial on me THEN educated me on my skin and told me I was glowing (which I was) and told me I had really good skin. I will never forget that and she made me feel so special. 4 stars instead of 5 because they don't have microwave available for guests to use. I stayed here for a quick trip to Miami and loved it. The location is convenient to everything Miami has to offer (little Havana, Wynwood, and obviously Brickell). The hotel is modern and clean with great amenities including a rooftop pool, two restaurants and a wine hour. The rooms are large. I am obsessed with this hotel. We came here after leaving another hotel on South Beach. South Beach was such a tourist trap and their hotels were all historic and outdated. Literally the first day we checked in, we checked out a couple hours later. We were scrambling to find another hotel since it was the holidays and we needed to find a better hotel to stay at. We decided to stay in downtown Miami instead since we saw this spot and it had good reviews on Expedia, as well. I don't get the reviews on Yelp. First of all, the service here is amazing. Everyone at the hotel from the doorman, to the front desk were all wonderful. When we came here to check in, we told the lady that checked us in that we just left another hotel that was a total nightmare. She put us on the 28th floor in an amazing room. I'm not even sure if it's the room that we booked, but it felt like an upgrade to me. See the pictures of the view for reference. We had a balcony that was facing the water and the city. You could just sit on the balcony and watch the boats during the day and at night. The room itself was very clean and roomy. Bed was comfortable. This hotel also has two restaurants, one of which is on the lobby floor and is SPECTACULAR! I will leave a separate review for that spot. It is right next to the water so you can walk up and down the bay and look at cool boats. The location is also amazing because it's walking distance to Brickell and everything. Walking distance to great restaurants and bars. My only complaint was that the AC was kind of loud. It wasn't that disturbing though. Only on one night it woke me up at like 8 in the morning. This is my 2nd time at a Kimpton property, 1st time at Epic. I was attracted to this hotel for its rooftop pool and proximity to the Kaseya Center (AAA). Check-in was an easy process. Our room was ready early and they allowed us to check in at 3 PM rather than 4 PM. We immediately headed down to the pool after. One thing I noticed during our stay is at the pool does not get direct sun all day. There are two hotel pools located on floor 16. There are cabanas for rent, day beds and pods that are incredibly comfortable. During summer, I would say the sun starts to shine behind the neighboring building around 9:00 AM. By 4 PM it is hiding behind the Kimpton Tower. The North pool receives little to no sun and the South pool gets it between the hours that I mentioned. That being said, both pools are cold. It is certainly refreshing to some, but I thought other folks should be aware. Otherwise, the pool deck is beautiful. We had a great time lounging and enjoying the Miami weather. Up so high you get a nice breeze and an incredible view of the water below. They of course offer fresh towels, sunscreen and cool down lotion. They have a full bar as well with signature cocktails for your average Miami resort price. We stayed in a king suite on a higher floor. The room was absolutely gorgeous. Decorated in a typical Miami modern style. The natural light in the room was absolutely amazing. Our bathroom was huge and there was plenty of room for a couple to get ready. There was a separate soaking tub with massage jets. We had a small issue with the bathtub handle and maintenance was sent out within 15 minutes to repair it. Very fast and friendly gentleman fixed our problem in no time. If you are driving, parking costs about $50 a day. We decided to Uber everywhere or walk during our stay. Valet does take a little time so prepare for that. If this is your first time in Miami, please also be prepared for the traffic. We were here for an event at the arena and after it let out, the streets were flooded with tens of thousands of cars. Definitely be mindful of that during your stay anywhere in this area. Even if you are not attending whatever event is being hosted, you will be impacted by traffic. In my opinion, Uber is really the way to go, if you drive parking around the city is a hassle usually costs more than it would to have someone drive you. I would definitely recommend this hotel! read more

Over the weekend of February 21-22, myself and a group of other women were guests at the hotel, celebrating a friend's bachelorette weekend. As a group we booked 3 rooms, a private yoga class, and 6 spa treatments. Our massages were booked for the afternoon on Sunday February 22nd. 5 members of our group were called back for their services while I remained in the quiet room waiting for my service. After 15 minutes past my service time, I entered the spa lobby area where I encountered one of the front desk workers. She let me know that she would be contacting someone to determine what the delay is. Another 10 minutes pass without anyone speaking to me. Once the front desk worker returned she let me know that my massage therapist was stuck in traffic and they were unaware when she would be returning. At the time they informed me that I would still be receiving my full service along with a complimentary add-on for the inconvenience. Around 10 minutes later (now 30 minutes past my appointment time) the massage therapist arrived and called me back for my treatment. We briefly spoke about what I was expecting for the treatment and the massage therapist stepped out of the room. I removed my robe and began to get under the blanket on the table when someone began knocking on and opening the door to enter the room. It was the front desk worker who asked me if I could return at 4:15 pm (3 hours later) for an "extended service". I asked her if she meant foregoing my current massage to come back then. It is only then that she informs me that actually they would only be able to honor "around 30 minutes" of my original treatment and so they were offering me to come back for more time. As this was a group event, our group had already checked out of our rooms and we were leaving together after our massages so I declined that offer. As a reminder, I am already undressed and on the massage table. The front desk worker then advised me that she apologized for the situation, the manager was fully aware of the situation and I would be receiving a FULL refund for my service because of the inconvenience. Thus I decided I would stay, receive the 30 minutes and leave with my group. As we were leaving, I asked the front desk if they required anything else from me (in order to process the refund) They handed me a bag with an opened body scrub, 3 perfume sample, 4 Hershey's chocolates and a $50 credit. I accepted the offer of good faith assuming they would like to ensure that I would return to the spa. A week later, I had yet to receive my full refund, so I called the spa to ensure they had my correct information. It was the that I spoke with someone named Amelia. Amelia informed me that she could not give me a full refund because I had received "half of my service". I kindly explained to her that I had been told that I would be receiving a full refund which is the ONLY reason I decided to stay for the treatment. As a reminder I was already UNDRESSED and on the table when I was told this information. Rather than apologize for the inconvenience and honor the full refund that I was given Amelia was rude and combative and informed me that there was nothing to be done. She emphasized that they gave me "a nice goodie bag and a credit". I would not have accepted this offer for an opened scrub and small items I did not want had I been informed of the situation. It was only at this point that the refund was even processed. It is abundantly clear that the spa would have never even processed my refund had I not decided to call. Given the amount of money that our group spent at the hotel, it is unacceptable to not only NOT have the situation remedied completely but also to have such rude and incompetent customer service. As a Miami native and local, I am highly disappointed by my experience. I am not looking for gifts or credits or anything additional from what I was offered, which is a full refund for my service. read more

This photograph was truly impressive in terms of location, view, and overall ambiance. It was a wonderful experience; however, the service quality was markedly poor. The staff exhibited discriminatory behavior, seemingly reluctant to accommodate us and displaying expressions of disdain as if questioning our presence, accompanied by reactions suggesting we could not afford such a place. Additionally, their conduct was unsatisfactory. I recall accessing items from the minibar and informing them of the quantities and costs involved; however, they attempted to overcharge us, implying discrepancies in our purchase records. Although the venue was busy, this does not justify dishonest practices or disrespect toward our efforts. Moreover, their response was dismissive, and they failed to provide the bill upon request despite my explanations. On the other hand, the restaurant staff were courteous and did not exhibit any misconduct. Nevertheless, the staff within the hotel area, including the receptionists, displayed rudeness towards us as international guests. This treatment is unacceptable, regardless of our nationality as U.S. citizens. If one seeks a desirable location, this establishment may suffice; however, given the instances of poor service and attitude, I would not recommend visiting or staying at this hotel. read more

The kimpton is just one of the beautiful hotels in the IHG chain. This was the second Kimpton I had the pleasure of staying in. My mother and I usually stay here since it's associated with American Express. So we usually are upgraded for free. Always a plus. The rooms are clean and spacious. Housekeeping usually comes very early so you can expect your room to be clean if you come back mid day. Bathrooms are huge and are decorated with beautiful stone. Our room had a huge balcony overlooking the water and some buildings. The first day, while my mother was on the balcony, a service worker entered the room without knocking. I got up immediately and asked him to leave as we did not call for him. This was very off putting. Assuming that maintenance workers have access to a manifest, why would they think it's acceptable to enter an occupied room? We brushed that off but it was not my last complaint. The same day, after returning from a party, our room reeked of sewage. I immediately alerted the hotel staff and they offered to change our rooms. They said they would send a bellhop to help us move. The bellhop eventually came and I believe there was a miscommunication because he tried giving me a new room key to the room I was already in. I told him that I did not request a new room key but a room change. He got very angry with me and insisted I take the key. After I told him once again this is not what we requested, he threw his hands up and said "we'll call the front desk then!" And walked away. I notified the front desk immediately, but now I was upset. I was still sitting in a room that smelled so badly and now a worker was yelling at me. One of the managers came up and personally brought us to our new room. She did notice the smell and agreed we should leave that room. So here's where I believe the staff was lying to us; when I called the front desk and told them of the smell, they told me I was the first guest to notify them of the issue. However, this being my second night at the Kimpton and second time staying at the chain, I noticed someone returned to the room while we were gone, and left linen spray and bottles of water, which we have never received from the chain. I believe they knew of the issue and lied to me. Whatever. My next room was clean and smelled just fine. That's what is most important. The issues were resolved in the moment but just a few things I thought should be brought to the attention of the Yelp community, as this is not a cheap hotel whatsoever. Also there is not always doormen on duty or they step away from their post. Kind of difficult to when you're juggling so many bags and trying to get through a heavy door. read more

Kimpton Epic Hotel Fail. Interesting experience to share... so, I went to Miami to visit friends who recommended the Epic hotel. My first experience was that the room was more expensive (despite being a rewards member) than the prices I saw on 3rd party booking sites via google. They don't match prices or anything, and despite the "impossible to remove" $40 per day "amenities" fee, I still decided to stay there. It was especially nice of the lady at the front desk to waive the amenities fee, that started the trip off wonderfully. The hotel is really great, love the balcony and shower especially. Things were going well till my last night 6/29/25. I was having some beers with my friend before dinner and when I walked in the room, I discovered the AC had broken down and was draining a lot of water from the ceiling to the floor. There was already a gallon or more, walls soaking it up, carpet outside the room was wet, etc...I called the front desk with a almost sense of panic and let them know it was pretty serious and on-going. It took 20min or so for a maintenance guy to show up, and he was clearly alarmed. "Oh, that BIG problem." were his exact words. He worked for another 20 min, said it was fixed, we used all my towels to soak up what we could, and he left. No manager contact, no more towels offered (not that big of deal, but would have shown concern for user experience). Well, 10-15 min later it broke again, and I called and went down to the front desk. I told them there's a waterfall in my room again and would probably need another room. The guy at the front desk looked at my like I was crazy and said he would send someone up. 10 min later, same guy shows up and works for another half hour or so. Then he comes out to the balcony and says, "come in, front desk call soon. new room." So, I pack up and wait for 20-30 min in a no-AC room with water on the floor. No call. So, I called them and they said, "Oh, you're ready? Come down and get a new key." Obviously, I don't feel like walking down with my stuff to just come back up again (seriously?), so I asked for a porter to come up. That seemed like a novel concept to them, but luckily they agreed. The look on the porters face was priceless. He spoke better English, and was like "Holy shit, never seen this before!" He said sorry, but again, no contact or care from a manager, and front desk seemed totally indifferent. New room was great, but when checking out the guy at the counter was totally uninformed or truly indifferent to the experience. I didn't want to make a stink about anything, my friend did comment about it, saying they should at least offer a free night, but the guy commented, "Well, you got the amenities fee waived" as if that was done by them to make up for the waterfall. I was like, that's a crap response and just left. Kind of sucks, because I loved Miami and the hotel generally. Certain staff could use some professional training, but that's not my department. Enjoyed a lovely stay at the Kimpton Epic Hotel in Brickell. The hotel is so conveniently located to the airport, downtown Miami, Brickell shops, and more. I was able to enjoy beautiful long walks as well. The room was lovely! We had a big water facing patio; ample space for our items; double vanity; and tub as well as shower. Amex has great deals with a credit as well as hotel credit and great rooms! We were on the 29th floor. The credit does not extend to Zuma which we didn't have time to check out but everyone raves about. The hotel has wine on the lobby everyday from 5-6 as well as tea and coffee every morning. The gym has great equipment. Two pools with cabanas and lounge space. They may be heated as well. We enjoyed breakfast and pool bites at the restaurant although pricy! Staff everywhere were lovely. This was my first trip to Miami and went with this hotel due to location and good reviews and it did not disappoint. Location is great if you're planning to be all around Miami and being in downtown which is super nice and clean as opposed to other major cities. Check in was easy, friendly, super accommodating as we arrived hours early having a room booked for an entire week for the trip. Room was great with an amazing view and super clean, comfy. Any and all interactions with staff at this hotel were great, definitely go above and beyond from simple requests of extra towels to helpful advice on how to get around the city. Pool and bar area are fun vibes and the drinks are on point. Would definitely stay again, thanks! read more

When David Bowie and Freddie Mercury famously harmonized about being "under pressure", it was assumed they were commiserating about the challenges of living in this modern life. However, after staying at the Kimpton Epic, maybe they were just complimenting the marvelous water pressure of this fine hotel, and, while doing so, gave rise to singing, as one is wont to do while in the shower. The room was spacious, clean, and well appointed. The balcony afforded the viewer a spectacular view of downtown Miami. But the shower took the cake. Based on the overall experience, I would have given the Kimpton 4-stars. However... I got the room for exactly $187 on Hotel Tonight; an unbelievable deal and money well spent! Downtown Miami in August has the feel of Singapore; climbing towers around a winding waterway, encapsulated in dense humidity and elevated temperatures. When you approach the door at the Kimpton and a kindly employee opens it for you with great ceremony, and you step into the heavenly icebox that is the lobby, you and your wallet are not shivering only from the sudden temperature drop... you are terrified that this $187 is certainly a 'bait-and-switch' and some excessive hidden fee is lying in wait... but it was not. So... stay at the Kimpton Epic where the pressure is in the water pipes, not the bill. read more

Great hotel and excellent service staff. A long weekend getaway with F. Our room had a great view. Unfortunately there was a fire in their garage during the evening when we first checked in we had to evacuate the building and were out for about 3 hours. There was a path by the water and we walked around it as well as had dinner before we were texted that it was safe to go back. Was very much looking forward to enjoying my stay here but sadly we realized on our second and last night we had mold in the room. We had notice a weird smell from day one but thought maybe it's just the room but each time we entered our room we started realizing it was something else and found the mold in the shower. We notified the front desk at check out and the guy who checked us out seem not to care or apologize, we then spoke with the manager who was very professional and friendly he apologized that we experienced that. I'll give him 5 stars for the way he handled the situation all through we are now noticing everything smells of mold. read more

My husband and I stayed 3 days two nights at this hotel with our kids (4 and 5 years old) and we had EPIC time! This hotel rooms are beautiful and modern which we love and everyone was so nice and extremely hospitable! Located in the downtown Miami next to Brickell with a few blocks from Brickell City Centre and restaurants in the Brickell area. We loved the pool which had a live DJ with a great vibe! The exhale Spa on the property was also great. Lastly the Area 31 restaurant had a delicious breakfast. We definitely recommend this hotel. read more

We had an amazing stay here. We arrived at the front desk and check in was seamless. Staff was friendly and gifted us with an EPIC mug. We had a good view of the pool area. In addition to a nice room we were helped by manager from Peru who helped us get a UPS package mailed so we didn't have to waste vacation time hunting for UPS store. read more

The hotel is very elegant and beautiful, but there are a lot of hidden fees! The hotel rooms are pricy enough, and when you check out, they spring extra fees on you that we're not disclosed during booking! The extra fees are for use of the restaurants, pool and gym!!! Even cheap hotels don't charge extra for those things!! The views are stunning and the service is wonderful but be very wary of hidden "extra fees"!!! read more

Beautiful hotel, beautiful rooms and a stunning view of the water and high rises are a must! Deep deep tubs to dissolve the day away. Food at the bar is not that great, bartenders not that great either. They do not disclose that there is an automatic 18% gratuity added so we were drinking and did not read and gave additional tip. Normally I would not mind but these bartenders were not that great and the drinks not that great. Valet charges $48 dollars a day on top of the tip. Very expensive hotel but it is beautiful. Complementary coffee and tea in the morning. read more
