I found it fun and hip - some might not like the tiny room and bathroom, which were actually smaller than on our cruise ship the next day. Still, it's a vibe and if you like this aesthetic, I think you'd like it too. Great place to stay the night before a cruise. Walk to the nearby Central Fare Food Collective for an upscale food court with excellent options. I agree with another's review that the room is tiny. It is NOT WORTH the price because (a) the size (b) awkward layout (c) bed against the wall. Some reviews call it modern and ok I guess for lack of a more appropriate description. The furniture looks like it might be from Temu. I'm not impressed and ALLLLLL the red in the hallways is overstimulating. *no iron *no washcloths - plenty of hand and body towels in my room *the pillows are poor quality But there were positives. I loved the modern technology, literally everything can be controlled from an iPad and the blackout curtain and blinds did just that. The room was dark, dark. The room was the smallest I've ever stayed in in my life. You walk in the door and the toilet is on your right with the shower and the sink is in the middle of the tiny hallway that leads to the bed. The bed only has a quilt wrapped with a sheet, but you can't use a sheet separately, which makes it too hot for me. I rarely sleep under a quilt. They give you one flimsy pillow, so your head is not supported at all. There's really no way to improve this place. Unless you like tiny rooms. One person in the bed would have to crawl over the other to get out and use the bathroom in the middle of the night if needed because that side of the bed is against the window with no access. The room did not have any water to drink, no coffee, no washcloths, no iron. read more

Cool bar on the first floor and a pool and bar on the roof. Many spaces for congregating with old friends and new ones. Room was tiny but perfect for us since we will be gone in 10 hours. One big bed, and shower/ toilet room behind frosted glass. Sink and desk in main room s as well. Very tight but has everything you could need. Modern style Hotel located within minutes of Kaseya Center, Bayfront Park and Biscayne Bay. Walking distance to many restaurants. CitizenM decor is very art museum like with bright colors and every corner gives contemporary art vibes. Plenty of communal tables in the lobby with no front desk. The rooms are compact almost like a boat cabin. They have a King size probably bigger bed really comfortable. Our room had view of Kaseya Center and the Freedom Tower. There is a large window right by the bed and it has blackout blinds. The room has an ipad tablet that controls the lights, blinds, tv, temperature and mood. Really high tech rooms focused on comfort. Self service check in and check out very convenient. Room was really clean and you can relax at the roof top or pool. Only set back was the parking. We had to walk around the building with the luggage to get to the parking lot. A bit inconvenient. Overall great place to stay after concerts or festivals like SOBEWFF. read more

First time staying at a Citizens M property and love the art deco vibe. Hotel is nicely decorated and colorful with art at every corner. Love the location at the Miami World Center with shops, restaurants and entertainment all within easy walking distance in all directions. Love the high tech environment with all room controls at your fingertips tips on an iPad from AC controls to TV to lighting to shades and blackout curtains. Grabbing a room with the arena view is a must. Not only that you get to observe the big wheel down by Bayside and the amazingly lit up historical Freedom Tower at night, you can score a picturesque view of the Miami sunrise as it creeps up over the Kaseya Center! Rooms are cozy and nice and clean overall. However, it's small similar to the size of a cruise cabin. If you're looking for space, this is not the place for you! Only factor that I did not like was the parking situation. There is NO on site parking and you may use nearby parking lots. The front desk does provide a discounted overnight parking rate at the near by lot but getting to and from the lot to the hotel does have some obstacles which is not convenient at all. read more

The CitizenM concept is AWESOME. Fun compact rooms with obscure glass enclosures for the toilet room and groovy lighting. We have stayed quite a few times while traveling in France. So, when we found out they had one in Miami we HAD to try it. The hotel decor is very eclectic with funky art, upbeat music, and INCREDIBLE food...Omg, the breakfast is so WORTH IT. The assortment is lovely - from delicious fruits to local breads and charcuterie. You can purchase the breakfast buffet which includes coffee...I ended up getting 2 cappuccinos because they tasted JUST like the ones from Europe. YUM. Adriana who works at the bar definitely exceeds customer service. She is very friendly and greets every customer with positivity. Unfortunately, the room we got was a bit of a disappointment. Creaky bed, both shampoo pumps didn't work, day curtain was broken and the street noise from outside was pretty loud - even being on the 7th floor. We also got in really late at night so the front doors were locked and we were getting hackled by a homeless person while trying to get inside the building. It is downtown Miami so I guess it's expected. It's also right across the street from the Kaseya Center and a very walkable area. This hotel is in a great location with a nice view of the arena. Aside from that, I didn't really care much for this stay. The check in process was a self help station. There was at times only one person there to help with questions and thus long waits. We couldn't communicate with housekeeping on the room phone. We constantly had to call the front desk to get assistance instead of the direct department. Maybe front desk handles it all here. But sometimes, calls would not go through and we unfortunately had to keep going down to get towels and such. At one point the shower water was passing through the glass unto the floor next to the bed and we needed extra towels to contain the water. Again, a trip down to lobby. The room was crazy small so yes shower and bed are that close to each other. Overall, good spot for the convenience of the location. read more

Yelp Fam, we're back in Miami. Okay, so CitizenM is a cool hotel--very chic--but it's not for me. The hotel did everything right... I just didn't like it ( personal preference My family and I stayed here for one night because we were boarding a cruise the next day. For one night? Cool. We arrived in Miami around 2:00 a.m. after an eight-hour drive and had called the hotel around 9:00 p.m. to let them know we'd be arriving late. When we got there, the doors were locked--which I understand--but no one was at the desk. We had to ring the doorbell three times and stood outside for about five minutes before someone finally let us in. Once inside, check-in was another experience. No one was initially at the desk, and it appears to be self check-in up to a certain point. My brother-in-law was struggling to scan driver's licenses and upload the required documents. There was only one employee working, and at 2:15 a.m. it started to get busy. The staff member was trying their best, bouncing between guests, but it still took us about 15 minutes to fully check in. I will say, the overall vibe of the hotel were nice--exactly what you'd expect from Miami. Now, the room... that's a different story. By no means am I claustrophobic, but I was very glad we were only there for one night. The room was extremely small. The bed and small side table took up most of the space, the closet was tiny with no door, and the bathroom was extra small--about the size of a cruise ship bathroom. Actually, let me take that back--the bathroom on our cruise ship was bigger than this one. The bed is pushed against the window, so if two people are sleeping, one of you will definitely be climbing over the other. When you open the blinds, you're staring directly at a wall with a mural. Honestly, the room was too small for my liking. I've never stayed in a room that small before. Now, let's talk about the good parts. Everything in the room is controlled by an iPad, which I loved. The tech aspect was impressive. You can control the lights, music, and room modes--sleep, focus, relaxation, etc. There's also full mood lighting, where you can change the room color to red, yellow, blue, green--whatever vibe you want. While it says you can control the temperature, I didn't notice much of a difference when adjusting it. Parking is available in a garage for a daily fee. We were able to park on the third floor and take the elevator down to the lobby. There are restaurants and a CVS nearby, and the hotel is literally steps away from the cruise port, which is the main reason we stayed here. Would I stay here again? No. Is the hotel concept cool? Yes. For one night before a cruise, it works--but it's definitely not my style. read more

I stayed at the Citizen M Miami Worldcenter hotel for a night (Saturday) because I was in town for the Boy is Mine concert that was located at the Kaseya Center. This was one of the hotel options that was close enough to walk to the venue and this along with the fair price point influenced my decision to stay here. It was about 20 minutes from the airport depending on traffic. Check in was very modernized as far as the approach, with self serve on a tablet with an employee nearby to guide you through any questions and verify your identification and credit card. The hotel was very trendy with cute red decor, ample seating & a welcoming environment for guests to chill, charge phones and indulge in conversation with their friends. The downstairs bar area had a free water refill station that I used to stay hydrated along with plenty of seating. There was also a rooftop bar on the eleventh floor that had happy hour from 6-9 (beer and wine only) & a drink menu that was inclusive of mocktails. I tried the mango nonito and enjoyed it. This served as a convenience for me and my friend before the concert. Pricing was fair for what you'd expect at a hotel bar. $8 mocktail, $13 shots, $~15 margaritas. This hotel does not have its own parking lot. Parking details were not clear online and based on the other reviews, I thought it would be helpful to share what I found out before arrival by calling customer service plus what actually occurred once I arrived. Before arrival, customer service told me that the hotel recommends that you use the garage next-door and guests will receive a discount ($22 for 24 hrs). It is adjacent to the Serafina, called Bezel. He mentioned that there would be a QR code in the lobby to scan, but could not provide a website because it is not affiliated with the hotel however, I could possibly find it by googling. I decided to wait until I arrived just in case anything was different. Once I arrived and checked in, I asked a staff member about parking and she showed me where their sign was in the lobby with the QR code for the Bezel lot. You receive a discount for the parking for 24 hours with in and out privileges, costing $22 if you scan the QR code and pay using the citizen m discount code and your reservation information. This came in clutch for me and my friend because I was visiting from out of town without my own car, but she drove up to meet me for the concert. Note, the discount only applies if you reserve your time for 24 hours. My recommendation is to reserve for 24 hours if the rate for your desired time is more than $22. My friend had to park in the garage first and then come over to the hotel to get the QR code and pay using my reservation information. We were told that we could do this as long as we paid within the hour. This was helpful because it took a moment to find a parking spot. After midnight, this garage was full, so I recommend parking your car early in the evening. The normal rate for this lot is $30 for 24 hours with in and out privileges. See pictures for additional details. As stated online, the individual hotel rooms are compact. You are able to control your TV, lighting, music, and room temperature with an iPad. This was very convenient and I loved that I was able to set the mood for bedtime. The bed was Firm, but comfortable. I would not recommend staying in that room type with more than two people because it is compact like a cruise ship but slightly bigger. There was a red bench and a red chair with a desk built into the wall, but definitely no room for an extra guest to sleep and no couch. The mini fridge was tiny and pulled out like a drawer under the sink. The bathroom area was also small like a cruise ship but slightly larger with the toilet and shower steps apart. Housekeeping forgot to put washcloths in the bathroom, but they did put bath towels and hand towels. This was inconvenient but I made it work. The rain shower pressure was perfect and so was the water temperature. It was easy to figure out how to turn on the shower & there was a handheld sprayer. Check out was also done on the tablet. Late checkout is $69 so I recommend getting downstairs a few minutes before 11 AM because you have to check yourself out on the tablet. The process took me less than five minutes, but there was a line. They also had a breakfast buffet for $23. I did not try it because I decided to eat next-door. Earl's was in walking distance, & so was Starbucks, Maple and Ash , Subway and CVS. This hotel is conveniently located in a shopping plaza with stores like savage Fenty, Sephora and Lulumelon. The Kaseya center is right across the street and it took me and my friend less than ten minutes to walk to and from the venue. Honestly, I felt like I hit the jackpot with this hotel location from the amenities, to the proximity to everything. I would definitely recommend it for anyone attending an event nearby or wanting to stay in the world center area. read more

The rooms are also very small, especially for two people. To be honest, the bathroom setup is so compact that if I'm in there, my wife can hear everything... and that's not the kind of intimacy I'm looking for on a trip . That said, the best part is the location. It's directly across the street from the Kaseya Center, which is perfect for concerts or events. What a great find. It did feel like a find too. I was looking for a hotel close to the the place we were catching a concert at that night. Our last couple times staying in Miami were expensive so I didn't have high hopes. But, a hotel right next to the amphitheater at Baypark was available at a pretty good rate. The reviews were actually good(hotels attract so many negative reviews) so I decided to make the reservation. we arrived and sure enough it was right next to the bay, next to the Miami heat arena and Bayfront where the shops food and our concert were at. Check in was quick enough, and with our key card we were up to our room. It was a very small room, but honestly that made me happy. There had to be some negative, and a small room was perfect. The bed took up the whole space by the window that over looked, everything! Incredible view. We went up to the roof where we told friends to meet us. There's a fun and interesting bar up there, along with a very inviting pool. We loved all the rooftop energy., We only stayed the night but the location was perfect, and the fun vibes of the hotel were contagious. Aside from the weird layout here (which would have been fine for the one night we were staying there), nothing in this room worked. Everything is controlled using a mini iPad, which in theory would be pretty cool. However, let me take some time to list out all of our problems with this room. First off...the window blinds/shades did not work at all. We had a "city' view room and could not see the city. Pretty sure the motor in the blinds broke. The TV was hit or miss, the shower door would not stay closed, the shampoo pumps didn't work and to top everything off, the climate control did not function as well. I should be giving this one star but the location is perfect for hitting the port or a Heat game so I didn't want to be too rough. read more

We actually stopped in to have some bar bites and drinks while waiting out the storm during the World Center grand opening concert. We ordered the margarita pizza, crab cakes, and fries to share. The pizza came out burnt so we were offered to get a redo. Once it came back it still didn't look or taste like a margarita pizza. Also the crab cakes were mushy with too much filling. I usually approach crab cakes with caution being from Maryland. Shouldn't have gone against my usual rules. The bartender was friendly enough, but she was free styling on the drinks as opposed to making them as the menu stated. My friend ordered a Mezcal Paloma and she made it with vodka instead with none of the other garnishes. I also had to ask for my drink to be garnished. The hotel itself is alittle old compared to the Citizen M's I've been at. I was at the Lincoln avenue one and it was great there. Restaurants across the street, rooms nicer, etc. The best thing about this Citizen M is the staff. I believe the manager is Shelika. She went above and beyond to make our stay great. I saw her all over the hotel making sure everything was perfect and pleasant for the customers and staff. Cory was another employee I am recommending. Sweet, professional, and loves his job. It is right in downtown, which wasn't the best area for me. For parking go to College parking structure 4 blocks down. Only $15 for 24 hrs with no in/out. Leave car overnight and I thought cheapest in the area. read more

We really enjoyed staying here and the area was perfectly located. We stayed in room 408 and it was perfect. The iPad usage took a min (not difficult, just different) but was an interesting twist to the hotel stay. The room is very minimal, but more than sufficient and effective. We stayed for two nights and truly have zero complaints about any of the experience. I would also like to say that Rollie who was at the front when we arrived is a customer service superhero!! His service and assistance was awesome and he did it with such kindness and was very welcoming. He is a great representative of the establishment. We have already decided we will DEFINITELY stay here again when we return. The proximity and ease of the people mover throughout the area was an added bonus! Definitely recommend!! read more

Amazing hotel. Beautiful and modern. Close to a lot. I was staying here before a cruise and the port is just a short uber ride away. The breakfast buffet is good and comes with anything on the coffee menu including speciality coffees. They do offer free jug of filtered water for your room, just have to request it from the cafe. They have a daily happy hr at the rooftop bar from 4-7 so make sure take advantage of that. When I arrived to check in, unfortunately their system was down so had a little wait, but to accommodate me for it, they gave me a free voucher for a meal and drink which I thought very thoughtful. I love the mood lighting in the room and that I was able to cast some of my own apps from my phone thru the room tablet. Chose this hotel because it was close to port for a cruise. Uber from the hotel to port was about 8 mins w traffic. Overall I'd say this hotel is a boutique style. Very aesthetically pleasing and lots of great fun and funky decor upon entering. The main floor has plenty of seating, a working area for laptops or just to hang out. The process to check in and out is done by you the patron w staff overseeing the area. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful. The bar and dining options are good if you don't want to leave the hotel. Breakfast buffet was plentiful w options. Plenty of dining options within walking distance and a cvs on the corner was much appreciated. Only docking a star because the rooms are very small. For two people it was a tight squeeze at times to move around. The rooms are very futuristic though and have options w lighting and using the tablet for the curtains and tv. What a super cool, funky hotel. The rooms are a bit small but completely functional and fun. Downstairs there are tons of places to sit, work or just chill (and I mean chill, Miami in July is hot, humid and a bit miserable weather wise). In the center of the lobby, you will also find a small bar with a buffet of food items to select from depending on the time of day. The hotel itself is located right across the street from the Miami Dade Arena (just think Miami Heat) and just a few blocks from the Maurice A. Ferré Museum Park and Biscayne Bay. I just can't say enough good things about this hotel, from its free late check out, rooftop pool with a great view to its proximity to many cool excursions. Bayside Market, Metromover,15-minute Uber/Lyft ride to Miami Beach. Don't want to haul your large, heavy luggage (think 50 lbs. of dive gear) up the elevator, just ask and they will tag and lock it up for you. This will also save you a bit of floor space in your room. OMG, I forgot to mention you can control the TV, blinds and lights with the CitizenM app on your phone or the resident iPad. I arrived super early on a very hot day and the nice gentleman at the check in desk worked with me and allowed me to check in early with no extra cost. This was such a fantastic thing to hear after flying a red eye over night and needed to get a nap in before starting the day. I got to my room to find that they gave me one with a view towards the bay/port and Heat stadium. Was an amazing view! I love that everything is controlled by the iPad. The black out curtains came in handy because at night there is a light above the window that is constantly on and the screen from the Heat stadium is really bright and flashing random ads throughout the night. Close those black out curtains and all you see is the pretty glow of the dim light in the bathroom that shows whatever color you are in the mood for. I absolutely loved the cuteness of the room. The decor was adorable and honestly the tiny size was perfect. It turned out to be just me in the room (my husband's flight to come meet me got cancelled) so it was the perfect size. My only two complaints about the room is that the metro train goes right by the room tons of times throughout the day, which didn't bother me until I noticed one day walking back to my hotel that they could see inside my room. The windows are not tinted so you can see everything from the train in to my room. I was unaware of that and I am sure I gave a few people a show when getting in and out of the showing/changing. The other complaint is that the shower only had shampoo and shampoo. When I looked at the gift shop downstairs all they had was shampoo. Not sure if they don't believe in conditioner but that was needed. The staff downstairs was pretty nice and helpful with the exception of one woman. She was at the bar as I arrived at 11:59 and she saw I had the free drink coupon in my hand. She immediately says 'You can only order soda or juice until noon. No cocktails until noon". I mentioned that it was about to be noon and she fired back with, you'll have to wait a few minutes. Then she got another gentleman walking by that works there to make the drinks for me and another woman waiting at the bar. Not sure what was bothering her, but that wasn't expected. Everyone else was super nice and helpful even the pool lifeguard. The pool is nice and has a bunch of seating. It is only 4 feet so pretty much just meant for lounging. It would be better if the bar opened early than 4:30 for an afternoon cocktail, but it is what it is. Overall I would totally stay here again. I just wish it was closer to other things other than the Bayside Marketplace. I found myself hanging around there every day because it really isn't close to anything else. read more

Rooms are very small and if you have two people, one has to crawl over the other to get out of bed. Noise carries through the entire room, you hear every sound everywhere. Lastly, the windows are covered by mechanical blinds. Ours did not come fully down, third floor is eye level with the light rail tram, which is about 20 feet away. Do you like hotels that allow screaming children to run around unsupervised but won't allow a certified emotional support animal into an outdoor area of the property? Then this is the place for you. If you have a service animal or emotional support animal (even secure in a kennel), the front desk will hound you, guilt trip you, and send you packing. There is zero empathy or service skills with the front desk staff. Emotional support and service animals in OUTDOOR AREAS should never be an issue. I am a Titanium member with Marriott Bonvoy. I decided to try the CitizenM brand last week. I like the hotel and will stay there again. I was aware of the rooms were small, which is OK since I was traveling alone. I tried calling the hotel 4x , I was on hold for 20+ min 2X. I didn't realize there was no front desk, only a kiosk to check in. No one answers the phone. Marriott is in the hospitality business, there is no concierge. There is no front desk. This is incredibly frustrating for a Titanium member who spends 60-80 nights in Marriott hotels. I had no idea where to park, so I paid for parking on the street, walked to the hotel to find out 'what was going on'! I want to let Marriott know that their customers prefer hospitality over technology! read more

There's a modern and Avant-garde appearance to these hotels. Check in and check out is done by yourself. The host is only there to assist you in the process or verify your ID. These chains make it simple to travel with smart but simple living space. Rooms are controlled with an iPad. This includes lighting, television, you name it. The rooms have this beautiful big window and a small desk. It's micro living but done modern. I'd love to come back to more CitizenM hotels. This is my second once since Boston! There's also a night scene on the roof called night swim. They have a summer happy hour that's good. read more

I love this hotel! It's very close the port for your cruise. I have stayed her me 2 times and slept well. The first time we had the breakfast and it was good. They also have sparkling water on tap so you can help yourself! The hotel is close by a lot of great restaurants. Oh and the roof top pool has a cool view and great drinks from the bar. We were in town to see Madonna at the Kaseya Center. We ended up taking the new Brightline train from Orlando to Miami. It dropped us off about 15 minutes from the hotel, so it was an easy walk to the hotel. The Kaseya Center was literally about a 3 minute walk from the hotel. We couldn't have asked for a better location to get back to our room after one of Madonna's late concerts. Check-in was a different experience for me. They have screens so you do the entire check-in process by yourself, but staff right there if you need help or have questions. It was pretty easy, as it walked you through everything. I did have a couple of questions and they were answered quickly, professionally, and with a smile. One cool thing was that you could almost pick your own room. It described what was available based on your reservation and what the view was. I picked a high floor with a view of Miami WorldCenter. I then activated our own room keys and then it discreetly spit out our room number on a little piece of paper. As described in everyone's reviews and on the hotel website, the rooms are very compact, but have all of the necessary amenities...and then some! It was perfect for the 3 days/2 nights we were in Miami. Every inch of space was well planned and used intentionally to maximize the number of rooms in the hotel. To maximize space in the room, the queen-sized bed is horizontal along the window. So the only challenge we had was that I sometimes get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, so I had to crawl over my partner because of the way the bed is situated. However, when you're laying in bed, the TV faces you, so it's the perfect set-up for watching TV in bed. It was also the most high-tech room/hotel I've ever stayed in. Everything was controlled via iPad, although there were also some manual light switches available, too. The iPad was pretty intuitive, so we could modify the lights (including the mood lights in the bathroom/shower), turn on the TV, and open and close the blinds. Everything worked perfectly; there were no technical hiccups. And I was amazed at how well the "night blinds" kept out the sun in the morning! I had no idea what time it was, even though the sunlight was reflected off the neighboring building and shining directly at our window. After a day of walking around Miami our first day, we came back to the hotel to change and go out to eat. We realized we were exhausted, though, so we decided to just eat in the hotel for dinner since it was getting late and we were tired of walking all day. The food selection for dinner was super limited, though, so that was disappointing. Breakfast looked like it was a good-sized buffet, but dinner doesn't get the same treatment. We scanned the QR code at a table and finally realized we had to order at the bar. There was only one bartender, and the bar was decently crowded (about 15-20 people), so I had to wait about 10 minutes to even place an order. And the bartender was incredibly slow. He was making mixed drinks for people. One at a time. And it took forever. When it was finally my turn, I ordered a beer. He casually said they didn't have that one (that was listed on the menu). After waiting so long to order, I didn't want to draw out the ordering process, so I just ordered a water. Which I was told is self-serve at the end of the bar. But it did help me learn where the water was so we could refill our water bottles every day. I ordered chicken and beef empanadas and rosemary fries for my partner and I. I then had to pick up my own food and clean up after myself (but expected to leave gratuity when I ordered). All that said, the empanadas were really good, but I do wish there were more choices on the menu. And the creamy sauce that came with the fries was good. It was our first night in Miami, and it was obviously my least favorite dining experience. The concert was the second night of our stay and we just had to cross the street to get to the Kaseya Center. It couldn't have been more convenient. And if you've ever been to a Madonna concert, you know she comes out on stage about two hours past the posted start time. So when the concert let out at 12:45 AM, we just had to walk across the street to our hotel while everyone was jockeying to get their car and out onto the crowded streets to drive wherever they had to go. On our day of checkout, it was easy to leave our bag with the staff while we went out to breakfast and explored Miami a bit more before we had to catch our train. After walking around, we came back to the hotel and relaxed in the shared living room off the lobby before it was time to go. The chairs were super comfortable. I probably could have napped. It was then only about a 15 minute walk back to the Brightline station. It looks like there's a lot being built around the hotel, so there will be a lot more shopping and dining super close by one day. read more

My friend booked us an Airbnb for this hotel while we were staying in Miami for a concert at the Miami Dade arena right across the street. It was very convenient walking distance and safe environment. The hotel itself is super cute, they have a self check in kiosks and they have staff available to assist with any needs. Love Love the decor inside, and the room set up . It gives me a very modern, futuristic vibe. They also have a bar downstairs where we enjoyed some margaritas, chicken dumplings and shrimp, tempura and rosemary fries. The room itself is so cute. It is small but it's convenient for two people or one. It does have privacy curtains and you can control the light and curtain blinds with the iPad, you can connect your music through Apple play airplay on the TV screen and they have mood changing colors which is nice. Definitely will be looking for this location whenever I'm back in the Miami area. The only downfall was that we assume their pool at the rooftop was open but they are still awaiting for a permit. We really would've enjoyed that because they also have a bar at the rooftop, which makes it a nice vibe to chill get some drinks and enjoy the pool at the same time without having to leave the hotel. read more

Love love love this hotel! The rooms are a bit small but the beds are wonderful and clean and the staff could not be friendlier. We checked in and were given a free breakfast because we were celebrating our anniversary. Breakfast was your standard continental fare but definitely more tasty! The hotel itself is super modern and has a rooftop bar and pool area, which is perfect for dealing with the Miami heat. read more

I just checked in about 2hrs ago and am still fuming mad about this piece of shit hotel. You have to park outside the hotel to check in, but you can't park there for more than 15minutes of an Allied Universal security guard will ask you to move. WHAT THE FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Next, once you go inside, you try to check in and they tell you you have to scan your drivers license and debit/credit card yourself. Once you complete that, you have grab your own key card for your room and scan it yourself. Next you inquire about parking-they tell you there's 2different places to park but to go to "parking.com" and get a multi-day pass for a cheaper rate. However, when you type it into your phone, NOTHING COMES UP!? They tell you you can go to the other side of the hotel and use their computers and that "some guests find that that works better". This is the most useless, unhelpful, trash ass hotel in the history of hotels. I don't give a FUCK that you use an iPad to move the curtains! You've managed to overcomplicate the shit out of this hotel to the point of being a complete waste of time, money, and effort. I came to relax, not to do your job for you! I ended up paying Metropolis Parking $32/day for 3days to park in their public parking garage. This place has me so fucking pissed off, I won't even come back to Miami, let alone this specific hotel. Such a funky hotel!! I loved the quirky and pop decor, from the exterior to the interior, it was full of instagrammable portraits! Check in is super convenient and self served- as is check out! The rooms are cozy yet have a huge king size bed! I loved the lighting and iPad controls. I had a great view of the Kaseya center which is exactly why I was there. Being that this is a walking distance to the arena if you're in town for a concert this is definitely the place to stay. It also has a roottop pool and bar- which contrary to what many may know, does not require you to be a hotel guest to visit! The fact that there is no entry fee really makes the rooftop spot an underrated establishment!! The staff were friendly, mostly males I noticed. The maintenance staff seemed to be comprised of females. The area surrounding the hotel is becoming super trendy, with many shopping outlets and amenities at walking distance. I truly enjoyed my stay here and hope to be back! read more
