Ordered from GH, since it's still wet and rainy outside some. Ordered 2 spicy chicken Kimbap, 2 tuna salad and cheddar Kimbap, mushroom and avocado Kimbap. $92, that's $15 a roll, not cheap at all. The delivery is coming by bike as well. He was blocks away and made a pit stop on the way to us. Food was supposed to be delivered by 5:40 PM. The food arrived by 5:56 PM or so. The Kimbaps were delivered about 15-20 minutes after the estimated delivery time. It's a good thing the food isn't necessarily hot. No utensils and no chopsticks and no napkins. Does this place think people are Neanderthals? The Kimbap pieces are full of ingredients and nicely balanced. The spicy chicken and the mushroom and avocado aren't my favorite. Neither of us wanted more than a couple pieces of the veggie Kimbap. The tuna salad isn't even that good. Disappointing for $92." It's a hefty cost for subpar Kimbap.

They are located downstairs in Chelsea Market inside of Pearl River Mart Foods. They also have some tables right outside the store for their guests so perfect for when the weather isn't the best to eat outside. They also have quick service here. Love they have vegan options that are tasty! They are a bit expensive but a lot of things in Chelsea Market are. Everything in the mushroom avocado bowl was fresh which is great and you can chose from a sauce and a pickled item to have on the side with the bowl. Also tried the yuba rice balls which were tasty but honestly I'd just do the bowl in the future as the value is better for those in my opinion!

I never had kimbap before and tried the beef bulgogi with the side of kimchi. This was very tasty and had a great crunch from the pickled radish on the inside. The beef was cold which I did not expect. I would have given this a 5 if the beef was warm and not fridge cold. It came with their KBL sauce which is a slightly sweet aioli which went very well with the kimbap. The gentleman taking my order was very friendly and had a smile on his face.

Delicious and fresh kimbap in Chelsea market. Perfect place to pop in for a snack and shop around! Get myself a book and enjoyed a little munchie in the center of it all. A great place to people watch and an even better place for foodies to try a bunch of different items in one area of NY!

Super simple yet nutritious comfort food! Kimbop is my absolute comfort korean food. They just opened in Pearl River mart inside Chelsea market so i had to come try. Ordered bulgogi beef kimbop and it tasted just like homemade. I substituted for brown rice and it was a good choice. Comes w slightly sweet and sour mayo based gogujang sauce to dip you kimbop. It was really good! Loved that it also comes with pickled onion. Def want to come back to try other options duch as tuna and cheese and yubu! Highly recommend!

Tasty. Filling. Surprisingly big proportions. I ordered thinking this was just for a snack. Best to get Kimbap and share with friends.

Great if you're in the area and craving kimbap. Wish they had more by way of sides (soup? tteokbeokki? just some ideas) but solid quality. Grab yourself a drink from the fridge nearby or some bubble tea at tea and milk to go with your meal. BULGOGI BEEF KIMBAP Pretty on par with what we know and love as authentic kimbap but I do notice an improvement in quality; particularly, the vegetables have a really fresh crunch and texture to them. The sauce goes real well and the pickled jalaepno w onions is FIRE. It was sesame forward and really a good highlight for the dish. Great to go and walk a bit to the rooftop park nearby and catch a view of the city while you munch of this light lunch. For many, kimbap is a good budget meal, though understand here you are in Chelsea Market and in Manhattan so the price point will be higher.

I don't think I'd really had Kimbap before - basically sushi rolls of korean meat (chicken, spicy pork, bulgogi beef). But damn were these good. And so filling for the price. Would totally get this again. I got the gochujang chicken roll and my wife got the bulgogie beef rolls. Both were so full of flavor - some spiciness but not much really and the radishes in each cut through the spice. The sides were a bit forgettable, but the rolls were so large you didn't need the sides. I also really loved all the sauces - the gochujang sauce was a little bit sweeter than most gochujang but also a little but thinner, more liquidy so it made for an excellent dipping sauce. Would totally get this again.

    Bulgogi Beef Kimbap

Kimbap was great, exceeded expectations. Had this during lunch and we all were satisfied. Lot of good options here if you come with a group. Would recommend. Only complaint is they refuse to give a cup of water - you have to buy bottled... However, I think many spots in Chelsea Market are unfortunately the same way.

I got the mushroom avocado kimbap with pickled radish and the seaweed purée and my friend got the spicy pork bowl. We both enjoyed our meals and I would've gotten the beef bulgogi if my stomach wasn't feeling off that day. The kimbap was definitely too dry without a more liquid sauce on it as the seaweed purée was more of a paste consistency and they apparently don't have soy sauce to put on top. If I came again I would've tried a different roll but based just on the mushroom avocado roll, it was only okay. Also I feel like it should've cost less for having 0 protein in it,

Amazing meal! I ordered the Kimbap Spicy Chicken and OMG - what a great lunch! A little pricy but a good sized meal and very filling. Clearly a freshly made meal and very busy, showing how popular it is. I definitely recommend if you're in the Chelsea market area!

I've since tried the spicy pork roll, which was even better than the beef imo (and not too spicy). The spicy mustard aioli is also my new favorite sauce. Korean taco (bulgogi beef) was great, too. Dan does it all and he is the best!!

Perfect quick lunch spot! Located in the basement level of Chelsea market this place serves wonderful quick eats. I got the chicken kimbap recommended by the employee helping with my order and loved it! For $14 it's quite a bit pricier than you can typically find kimbap but it's convenient location in the Chelsea market is to blame. The roll is huge and actually really filling for a meal! The chicken has a little kick and the aioli given on the side really makes the meal! The side of kimchi is also a nice touch. Service is friendly and quick (less than 10 min wait). There's 2 small tables just outside but the market gets super busy so it might be best to grab to go or to take the park!

The beef soup is clear and light and the noodles have a delightful texture, with a slight chew and good bounce. There's a good portion of braised beef as well. Tender but a bit fatty for my taste, but given the portion it's not going to kill you. Lamb burger ended up as overkill and will be consumed as leftovers but a quick sampling let me know that it's gamey and fatty with strong notes of cumin. Not a bad thing, but something to note for people that might not generally enjoy lamb or cumin. Black pepper beef rice bowl was solid too. Spice wise, you can calibrate accordingly but I'd recommended at least their regular spice level. Decent amount of tenderized but still chewy beef. Both dishes came with a salad of celery, carrot, cucumber, peanuts and seaweed strips in a light sauce. Couldn't quite figure out the sauce but it was lightly tart and refreshing. Space is clean and modern. Neutral wood, well lit. Service is friendly enough. If you dine in, you order at the kiosk and they'll deliver to your table. We had leftovers that they graciously packed up. Solid choice. I hope they stick around as they do bring a different cuisine to the area.

The Ahi Tuna was the perfect and proper color it should be. The flavors were SPECTACULAR-WONDERFUL!!! NOTE: WAGAMAMA has added to their menu, since my last visit, so you now have a RAMEN SELECTION, and other yummy additions. I was too full from my spectacular Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl to try the Korean bbq Chicken Wings ($8.95) but, I will definitely be back to try them!! I'll post menu photos so you have an idea of the delicious food choices. (April 2026) My very first delicious bite of Ahi Tuna had a heavenly garlic flavor, it was wonderful, and the sweet green seaweed with rice only added to the wonderfulness. Vertical slices of cucumber, onion and scallion, also add deliciously to my wonderful Poke Bowl. Toasted sesame seeds, too. SIMPLY MARVELOUS!!! Remember to be sure to mix the poke bowl rice as you eat, so that you mix the rice with the yummy sauce that may accumulate at the bottom of the poke bowl. I usually eat a little while, THEN, mix the rice. This was so good, I had to eat, eat, eat, before I could stop to mix. LOL. That sweet green seaweed was so yummy!! A lovely mix of flavors...the garlic, the sweetness....I LOVED IT ALL SO MUCH!!!! When was the last time you enjoyed a dish so very much that you felt like standing up in the restaurant and telling everyone: THIS IS SOOO DELICIOUS!!!! Well, I felt like that, but I didn't stand up and tell everyone, but I did tell the manager, who happen to come to the table to ask how everything was. And I let him know how much I was enjoying the Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl. He explained why and how the tuna was so flavorful. We had a delightful brief foodie chat. What a joy!! The service is very nice here. I like the atmosphere too. And the music, which is cool; it does not interfere with thinking, or having a conversation. I really like it here . The women's rest room was very nice, and clean, with a Dyson Hand Dryer, so no paper towels on the floor. Yay! Helping our environment, too!! And I like the black and white wall paper, too. See my photos My last visit I enjoyed the Pad Thai, and the same non-alcoholic beverage, " Asian Mint Limeade", from the MINDFUL DRINKS area on the beverage menu. ($9.50) (April 2026). A nice treat! It does have a light carbonation (bubbles). This visit my delicious meal was from the BOWLS SECTION of the food menu, it was the AHI TUNA POKE BOWL ($17.95) (April 2026) With warm, and hot weather on the way, I know I will be enjoying this AHI TUNA POKE BOWL again...and again! If you love good food, good service, and a very cool environment, put this location of WAGAMAMA on your list ! (East side) LOCATED On THIRD AVE, at East 39th Street. There is OUTDOOR SEATING, too, with red umbrellas. See my photos. Enjoy yourself here. Totally delightful. There are several locations in Manhattan. I did not know that. So, the one I have dined at is ON THIRD AVENUE, at EAST 39th Street. Look for the Red Umbrellas outside, at the corner of East 39th Street and Third Avenue. Enjoy!!!

We were guided toward the back, past white marble tables with beautiful mustard colored velvet chairs to the long countertop facing the open kitchen. We scanned QR codes to pull up the menu, and despite no omakase noodle offerings to be found, decided to stay because the menu options they did have sounded too good to pass up. Of course they had classic shio and miso ramens, but they also had a duck tsukumen, a red snapper ramen, a black truffle ramen, and the dish I set my sights on-- the uni mazemen. There were also lots of appetizers and a long list of high end onigiri featuring proteins like scallop lemon shio, A5 wagyu ponzu, and bluefin chutoro on offer. This place was the real deal. Our group shared the tebasaki wings-- so crispy and so flavorful, I could have inhaled a whole plate of these. The salmon, ikura, and apple appetizer that was served in a glass chalice was superb but even better was the bluefin tuna avocado sashimi with wasabi. That one was a winner across the board. And then my uni mazemen, which really stole the show. There was a very generous portion of uni that mixed with the savory sauce and al dente ramen noodles perfectly. This dish was rich, unctuous, and fresh and definitely delivered in value, though it was double the price of most other noodle bowls. Uni is a delicacy. Having just returned from a second trip to Japan I can say this place is really as good as any restaurant I visited in Japan, and it's right here in Murray Hill. These Murray Hill bros are lucky.

After my first visit: This is my favorite ramen restaurant on the planet. It's my perfect…read morerestaurant - but not because of the ramen. Because of the desserts! First - Tonkotsu (pork) ramen was perfectly balanced. The broth was deeply flavorful but not heavy, almost like an 80/20 hybrid of tonkotsu and shoyu (soy sauce) ramen. Noodles were springy and not overcooked, and the roasted pork had a slightly smoky flavor and was flavorful itself, not just protein and texture like many other ramen joints. We also had the edamame appetizer - super flavorful and addictive, and we wound up ordering a second one (for our party of four) after devouring the first one. Now here's why it's my favorite ramen restaurant- my favorite dessert is banana pudding, and Tonchin's signature Tokyo banana dessert is an elevated banana pudding that makes magnolia bakery look like amateur hour. Plenty of fresh banana and a carmelized banana on the side with a balanced pudding that's not too heavy - this is peak banana pudding. So it has my favorite ramen and favorite dessert. But can it do better? Yes. It can also have...my second favorite dessert! Tonchin has excellent shave ice desserts that reminded me of Korean bingsu. We had the strawberry and it was fresh, bright and had lots of strawberry flavor. Delightful. Service was excellent and the ambiance of the space is dark and elevated. Couldn't decipher distinctly from other top notch ramen so it wasn't knock your socks off. From now on I'll order the base dish when I go places so I can judge better. The gyoza was cooked very nicely, came sizzling and the bun with meat was a little ugly, it looked boiled and unappetizing. The taste was just okay. The topping on it was notable. The waitress didn't help us at all when ordering. We weren't bowled over with the food, although it was noted the meat in the ramen was high level. It hit the spot but I will try other places in the search for our "return forever" ramen place.

We love to try new things so we had to check out the Little Alley Pig Ear appetizer, and I also wanted to try the Shanghai Crispy Eel. For entrees the husband ordered the Eight Delicacies in Chili Sauce and I got the Soft Shell Crab with Rice Cake. Pro tip- their appetizers and entrees are hefty, with two apps and two entrees we were stuffed at the end. The food! The pigs ears were our favorite thing we tried- they well seasoned and so unique I've never had anything quite like it. We didn't read the menu carefully and were surprised it was a cold dish- I imagined the crispy was from being fried but it's just the texture of the cartilage! It's probably not for everyone but I really enjoyed the new experience and the flavor and spice were great. The crispy eels were also tasty, though with such a large portion split between just two people I found the sweetness of the sauce a bit much. I started dipping them in the chili oil from the ears and enjoyed that, but I'd still only get the eel again with more than 2 people to split it. For entrees the 8 delicacies was tasty, all the meat was nicely cooked and tender, and the sauce was pleasant. I wasn't super wowed by this dish compared to some of the more interesting things we tried but it was a solid well-cooked entree. The fried soft shell crab over the rice cakes was delicious and again a very unique experience. I found the sauce a tad sweet but I think I was still a little over the eel dish so I may have been extra sensitive. That being said, it was fun and delicious and I'd eat it again! I can't remember the cocktails we bought, I know they were good but the food definitely distracted us! Little Alley was great overall and I'd love to go back to try some dumplings; sadly we were just too full at the end of the meal!
