Danny is awesome!!! He came out to spray for the first time since we have recently found cockroaches in our yard and a few in our kitchen. Jesus help us..... Danny was super informative and helpful. He sprayed everywhere and since then we have found dead roaches everywhere outside. Haven't seen any inside our house. Thank god the red roaches don't infest houses. Awesome service and great staff. read more

This review is for Cliff Paige. He has been coming to my home for 6 years. Always efficient, prompt, and with a smile. He is very reliable. I'm very comfortable with Cliff entering my home, even with my children roaming around. He is also careful of my pet, ensuring that my dog comes into the house when he is spraying. read more

We had the EXACT same experience as Alli did. Ants -- and they came out quickly to our first call and sprayed very well. After telling us that the ants should go away after about 5 days we waited over a week to call back, since they said there was a 60 day guarantee. No call back. Two further calls and no call back. We also spent $180 and we STILL have ants. ETA: The same day this posted Kendra from Kilroy contacted me & had a technician come out to do a follow up. read more

Thank you Killroy! A true family business that made me feel like a truly special customer. We did not want to go with a huge chain/corp where the service is a hit and spray, instead we went with a local company that treated us beyond fair and competently solved our bug/rodent issues. The experience we had, from they're friendly and knowledgeable office staff, to their technician who came out and assessed our situation, it was a professional experience and made us feel confident they could help us. They walked me through the various options and described the potential outcomes and what I can expect in the future. It is great to support a local business that still cares about customers and values that, in the end, we are satisfied! Wish I could find the same level of competence for other household needs!!! read more

Ken from Kilroy's Sensitive Solutions program has come out to my house several times. He was courteous, knowledgable, and went the extra mile to help me with my problems. I will definitely use this company again, and it is without hesitation that I recommend them to others. For reference my issues involved: -Treating a magnolia tree for scales. I had a pretty bad infestation that has not resurfaced, luckily, after only one treatment. -Spraying essential oil mixture on my wisteria to treat infestation of aphids. Ken came out two times, at my request, to spray hard to access area above trellis. He sprayed off my patio furniture with water afterwards too, which I appreciate. read more

Killroy for more than 30+ years has been providing quality pest control services to our family. As kid,Killroy was my parent's choice and as a homeowner now, Killroy is our choice as well. Our tech Steve, has provided us with top notch service. On many occasions, he has gone above and beyond to help explain the best plan of action to help control ants, spiders, mice & more. Our home is located next to a field, and for the first few months of living there we were inundated with bugs & critters. Steve came out to address the problems and recommended a quarterly service schedule to help resolve the issue. He helped answer our questions about the types of products used and was sensitive to the needs of our family with both kids and pets. Overall, very happy with Killroy and would recommend them. read more

We have been using Killroy for years and highly recommend their services. Our technician Steve Peterson does an outstanding job and most importantly shows up when scheduled. He leaves the invoice which makes paying the bill easy. Killroy guarantees their work and if there's a problem they are quick to come out and re-spray especially during ant or spider season. Originally we signed up with Killroy because we had an extreme ant problem both inside and outside. We can now go out in the yards to work and use the water hose around our concrete deck without ant colonies coming out and attacking us. The ants and other pesky insects are long gone which makes us very happy. read more

We have been using Killroy for a couple of years now. We were having some trouble with black widow spiders and cockroaches in the garage. Since we started quarterly treatments with thyme and mineral oil concentrate, we rarely encounter one of these anywhere around our home or yard. Steve is our technician. He is friendly and professional. He always calls the day before to see if it will be a convenient time to spray. If we are here when he arrives, he is pleasant and considerate of our property. I would recommend him and Killroy highly. read more

I have been a happy Killroy/Sensitive Solutions customer for more than nine years. I had an intractable ant problem at my house that was very frustrating and hard to deal with. I tried a traditional pest control service that used poison and every time they came out the ants would get worse. I was desperate so I did some research and found Sensitive solutions. They do not use poison, they use a plant based solution that smells a little like salad dressing. I don't have to feel bad knowing that my yard and house is being soaked with poison and the ants are no longer a problem. Steve is my technician, he is very friendly and helpful. Killroy has helped me with other situations as well. One time a swarm of bees tried to build a nest in my house. The bees were coming out of the heating vents. Kilroy came out right away and was able to discourage the bees from coming into my house by using something that bees don't like. No poison. I love this service! read more

I have used many pest control companies some large, some small and even independent companies in different cities over the years and Killroy is my favorite! Why? Because they are always extremely professional, very knowledgeable, and super attentive to your customer service needs from the office staff answering the phones to the technicians that come out. Andrew is our favorite! I'm not sure why the bad reviews and actually I'm quite surprised to see them as we have never experienced anything negative from Killroy's services and staff. I hope you give them a try, you will be happy with the results. read more

Killroy has taken care of our pest control services since 2001. They are reliable, professional, responsive, and personable. Andrew was our original technician and Lauren is the technician who currently works with us - both are great. Lauren just sprayed for spiders yesterday. The office staff is kind as well. Thanks, Killroy! read more

Mark P summed up our experience with these guys. We paid 80K for our association to be tented. They did not do a comprehensive inspection, nor did they treat all of the affected areas. They are supposed to remove the chimney caps before tenting, which they did not do and we have had to replace nearly all of them because of it at 250.00 apiece! The subterranean termites, which cost us more that 27k to deal with, were not covered by their warrantee.......which leaves me wondering what good it is for 80,000.00 right? We now have evidence of live termites in our units. Killroy has been notified and they are less than helpful. We spent a huge amount of money for some piece of mind and an end to a real problem. we got neither. As president of the association, I can not recommend these guys. The owner contacted me and was not happy about my review. I explained all of the details and she assured me that their termite manager would contact me....guess what???? More that a week later he has not bothered at all. Does this give you an idea about the level of service here? read more

Cliff Paige is the best. He is a great worker and is kind and considerate. The pricing is great and reasonable

After we moved into our new house, we were horrified to find water bugs infesting our garage. Killroy Pest Control came out that day and sprayed. We haven't had a problem since. They were professional and understanding. I can't say enough positive things about them! read more

We have used Killroy for over 10yrs. We contacted them initially for a roach problem in the yard. It took a couple of applications to completely eradicate the little monsters, but we no longer have the problem. Killroy now does a quarterly service for us. Cliff Paige is our technician and always phones the day before to make sure it is a good time for us. Other companies would not provide this service, and had sprayed the yard with the dog outside. Cliff always makes sure our dog is safe before he sprays. I accidentally forgot one time and he only sprayed out front and came back for the rear later. Appreciate the service Cliff. read more

We've used Killroy for the past 3 years for a basic yard spray as well as for paper wasp nests. They do a good job and the bugs and wasps generally stay away for several months. Their service tech., Daniel, is knowledgeable and is a really nice guy. read more

I had Kilroy Pest Control do cockroach control treatment at my residence. We were told that there will be 60 day warranty where I should not see any cockroaches or else they will perform the treatment again. Their technician advised us that we had the problem of oriental cockroaches that mostly live outdoor and enter inside the house in search of water especially when it gets too hot in the summer. Since I had noticed them in my garage and occasionally in the kitchen, I paid a little extra to spray in the garage at the same time. The technician tried to up-sell the maintenance plan, however I decided to try them first before I would commit anything for long-term. Immediately after the treatment, we did not see any cockroaches but approximately after 5 weeks, we started noticing them again in garage and in the kitchen. Got busy at work and could not notify them immediately (My bad!) but still called them a week before the 60 day warranty ended. Initially the lady on the phone argued that since the technician cannot make it onsite for another week, which means we will be past our warranty period. This did not make any sense to me, since their treatment should last me through 2 months. The fact that I am seeing the roaches before 60-days means the treatment was not fully effective. The lady finally agreed to inform the technician to call me and I should expect a call in a couple of days. I waited for a 10 days, no one called me so I did a follow up and again the lady on the phone promised that she will remind the technician to call me. Its been a month since my last follow and I have lost hope of receiving any calls from them. Since I do not believe in endless follow-up, I am convinced that Kilroy does not honor their warranty. So beware of their promises. Your experience may vary. read more

Had hideous ant infestation last summer they were EVERYWHERE!! We tried everything & they kept coming back. My husband found these guys on Yelp. Very reasonably priced. Took care of outside & inside. We were ant free for nearly a year. On Friday we noticed a small number of ants had come back. We were able to contain but decided to nip it in the bud. We called on Friday & had someone come out Monday morning. He was prompt, courteous, fast, & thorough. He reviewed my options but didn't try to sell me on anything extra. He proactively took out the cobwebs & treated for spiders & didn't charge extra. Will definitely use in the future! read more

Got a few estimates from termite companies to get rid of subterranean and dry wood termites. Although spraying and injecting is the solution that most companies suggested, I wanted to have the house fumigated to be sure to rid of the pests! Kilroy's customer service is top notch! You get that sense that it's a family business with strong core values to give the best service. Being in real estate, I see how obscene the cost of getting termite clearance can get. It can blow the budget and can be even more painful as most of the time, it us an unexpected expense that must be corrected immediately. KIlroy is very reasonable compared to big, well known companies like Terminix, who by the way can't even spell my first and last name right and yet bombard me with junk mail. They also guarantee their work up to two years. I also like that even though they're from San Jose, they were willing to go to the East Bay to do the work. I hope I don't ever have to call them again but if I get more termite problems, I will not be calling someone else. read more

I had wasps by our front door. Mikey from Killroy told me they were dauber wasps that kill spiders. They don't sting unless you bother their nest so we left them alone. I called the Sensitive Solutions division at Killroy for a problem with mice. I had been hearing them scratching in the walls of my house and had been told by another company that the sound I heard was squirrels on the roof - which I knew not to be the case. David Colombo from Sensitive Solutions came out and spent a lot of time examining the two story structure to determine where the mice were getting in. He set traps in the basement and plugged up about thirty possible entry points. It took him a couple of trips to complete the job and the second time he brought a colleague with him who helped. They were both very courteous and helpful. The bill was reasonable - they billed me for the complete job and not the number of visits. That was about six months ago and I am still happily mouse-free. Thanks Killroy and thanks David and friend. Good job. read more

Never failed us. Very courteous with a pre-visit phone call. We have lots of pets, but no fleas or other bugs inside. Highly recommended

I've been meaning to write this review and never got around to it.....We had Rat & Mites problem in our attic and the crawl space. We contacted few places for quotes but ended up going Killroy based on Yelp reviews.... We're very disappointed, they promised to go in the attic and crawl space to trap rats and spray for the Mites but ended up only spraying it inside the rooms and few days later the mites were coming back and we had very tough time dealing with these mites. These things were nasty and would bite our 2 year old daughter and my wife.....surprisingly I was spared. Some reason they wouldn't eliminate these things at the roots, they just sprayed the chemicals around the corners and baseboards.....these things were so small they would crawl out of any tiny openings. I finally called a friend who help me spray under the house and we got rid of these creatures within a week. I would say very poor execution and not reliable and very costly, my mistake for not getting everything in writing before starting the job. read more
