This Irish pub is full of charm, with warm woodwork, cozy atmosphere, and an authentic feel. From the moment we walked in, the host greeted us with a smile and even gave us a choice of where to sit. Our server was fantastic--attentive without hovering--and we were pleasantly surprised when both the host and even the chef stopped by to check on us. That's service you don't see every day! The food? Absolutely delicious. Everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. We left full, happy, and feeling like valued guests. If you're ever traveling through Illinois, I highly recommend making a stop in Normal to check out Maggie Miley's. You'll get great food, friendly faces, and an experience that feels like home.

It has it all great atmosphere. Good friendly staff. Strong and cheap drinks. And some really good bar food that is not only delicious but also the best bang for your buck. I felt like I was transported to the times where $20 got you something. Yeah it's a dive bar and it may ohhh jot be the greatest decor. But I love these type of bars. Bc they always have the best people and workers there...Down to earth and everyone having a fun time. The food was so good I had to try it twice in one day. And going back again today before I head back to Jersey. The burger platter was a great buy. And the patty was cooked perfectly seared to perfection. Added cheese for .50 and bacon for another .75. And now it made it that much better. I substituted the fries for cheese balls. For a little up charge and then put some cheese balls on the burger. I'm drooling right now as I'm talking about it. But all that for about $8 made it even better. And the quality was not missing. I came back that night and ordered the fish Sammie which was just as delicious. Again served with fries and the fixings. The fish Sammie was a long crispy fish filet fried to perfection. I added cheese on it too. That was about $7. I washed both down with a double of Tito's and club. Which was also nicely priced as well. Shout out to my bartender Jordan she was awesome!! Definitely a Gem in this beautiful city. I know Brewe-Ha's is in the city of Normal but this bar is very Un-Normal. Thank you to all that are making this happen and keeping your customers and this community your number one priority. Fine establishment. If you're ever in the area it's a must stop.

I have to say after reading the three reviews on the Bistro that I agree with two of them. I urge…read moreanyone reading these reviews to disregard John's comments as much as possible. I think that Jan is one hell of a business woman. She offers great drink specials and seems to be constantly striving to make her customers happy. She does not have to offer drink specials every night. She does not have to have Bingo Night every Thursday night and give out free shots to the winners. I am more of a person that sits back and watches how people behave in order to make my first impressions. As the matter of a fact I can be a shy person unless I get to know someone pretty well. I have only spoken to Jan on a few occasions, and therefore, I can provide an unbiased opinion about the Bistro. From what I have seen, Jan makes the enviornment comfortable and accepting, and she does not have a greedy bone in her body, unlike most business owners. In addition, she has made my drinks before and she puts just as much alcohol in the drinks if not more than the bartenders do. Most business owners would be stingy with the alcohol and try to get a bigger return on his or her investment. In addition, she had the ingenious idea to have karaoke on Thursday after bingo, and I swear the bar is more crowded on Thursday nights than it is on the weekend. In addition, the bartenders are very nice there, especially Tiffany and Selena (sorry if i misspelled your name). The bartenders and Jan always make you feel like you are welcome. It does not matter if you are a regular, rich, poor, middle of the road, straight, gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transexual. They will treat you like you are the only customer in the bar irregardless of the size of your usual tip. They all practice respect for the individual, which is an important component in maintaining and securing future loyal clientele. So if you are debating on whether or not to come into the Bistro, I am telling you that if you do, you will not regret it. Please remember to tip your bartenders becuase they deserve it and it's the right thing to do. They are trying to make a living just like everyone else!!! Signed, Chuck, a happy customer

We went on a Friday afternoon, and there were people in there, but still quiet, which was nice. We sat at the bar, and our server was helpful and checked us without being overbearing. The menu selection is great - not too small, not too big. Wines from different US locations, but also France, Italy, etc., so a nice option for everyone. They also had a board with special limited releases. We each had our own glass of wine and shared a third to try 3 different wines. Their prices are super reasonable, and they have quality selections. We also ordered some cheese to snack on. Delicious charcuterie options, as well as some other items like The Rock's hummus - yum! This is such a gem for the area. You can also take items home and shop from their storefront. Nice staff and a thoughtful menu. We will be back next time we are in town!
