She apologized again and asked if we just wanted it boxed up to go, to which we said yes. Several minutes later a manager showed up and told us again, that there was a miscommunication and the appetizer was never made and yet to be placed in the oven. At this point, we asked it to be canceled and just asked for boxes and the check. Things happen, and the way they responded to the mistake is the reason I am still giving them 4 stars. They reduced our bill significantly and offered us a coupon for a free pizza on the next visit as a way to make things right. The waitress was great and the manager was very professional.
