Kiki is THE BEST at perfecting your brows no matter how they look. She is hands down my go to person and the only person I trust with my eyebrows. I have had terrible experiences before at other places before my friend had recommended me Kiki's. I have been going to this place for over 2 years. The hardest part for me is finding time during weekdays to go and when I do there are always other people waiting on Kiki that It is hard for me to get her since there aren't reservations. I haven't had the best experiences with others besides Kiki so you have to call in advance to make sure she is in. Most times, I do not have the best luck at getting Kiki since she is so busy, but for special occasions like prom, senior photos and homecoming I make sure I get them done by her. Nori does a fabulous job. She's been doing my brows for years and my 14 year old daughters since she was 12. The only problem is that she's in Blackhawk sometimes so CALL FIRST. I have made the mistake twice of letting someone I don't know do my brows and unfortunately both times I was disappointed... I've been getting threaded now for almost 3yrs and have been going to the same place near my home. I happened to be in San Ramon at a store next to Kiki's. I was curious to see inside and check the pricing. It was small and cozy and Kiki was very nice. Even though the pricing was a little higher than what I normally pay I decided to give her a try. Before she started she told me I wouldn't be disappointed, and she was right!! I LOVED the way my brows came out. Normally I get blisters around the area where I'm threaded but not when she did it. Walked in and was helped right away. I had been on yelp, so I knew what Kiki looked like, but felt bad telling the girl who was going to help me no, so I sat down. As I mentioned to her, it was very important that my eyebrows look PERFECT. she was a bit hesitant, but she started. I'm a first timer and wow, it is not as painful as I had thought. I usually go to Threads in Dublin, but my sister and I decided to try out Kiki's today. Unfortunately it was just as bad as it was last time we came here. The woman who threaded my brows pulled the thread so slowly that the experience was terribly painful. To make matters worse, one of my brows is nicely arced and the other one is straight across on top! I just wanted her to clean up my natural eyebrow, but I lost so much hair! Now I have to wait for it all to grow back :( read more

My eyebrows were a complete disaster. I called, got a reservation for that day. They did make me wait 10 minutes as they were busy tattooing a pregnant woman! But, once I got in the seat, less than 5 minutes later, my brows looked great again. I had never gotten my brows threaded... pretty interesting. I was able to walk right in and get my eyebrows threaded for only $12! However, you get what you pay for, because the woman that did my brows ripped off a lot of skin on my right eyebrow leaving an open wound that was bleeding and scabbed over. I have had multiple people come up to me and ask me what happened because it is so bad. This was definitely not worth the low prices and quick service. Kiki had great intentions but unfortunately did a less than impressive job on my eyebrows. I clearly expressed that I wanted them to just be cleaned up and trimmed (not reshaped) but instead she reshaped them to look good only when filled. I appreciate the intention but I do not fill my eyebrows. If you go to Kiki, make sure to watch every step she does and speak up if you don't like it. Her stubborn and strong personality might leave you with an unfortunate brow job. read more

Well let me first say I have been coming here a long time. At first I loved this place, but that may have been because Kiki herself did my brows. Now every time I come it's someone different, and the service is very hit or miss. Today I left with uneven eyebrows, stray hairs left and a right eyebrow shorter then the other. I have been to many nail salons to get my eyebrows waxed, and it is a serious challenge to find someone who does your eyebrows just right. I will admit that I have thick and annoyingly bushy eyebrows. I tried threading for the first time and I will admit that it hurts but, the results are amazing. Great service! This was my first time here. Quick and she (I'm assuming Kiki) was very nice. She mentioned they have only been open about a month. She even recognized me from doing my eyebrows at Threads in Dublin. She quickly saw one of my eyebrows were uneven and told me how she was going to fix it. Gave me a mirror to show me what she left to let it grow back in. The store is a store or 2 down from Longs and Safeway. So nice to run over and pick up some last minute dinner items. So great location. And it's right off of 680. I may start coming here instead of Threads as it's closer to my house and just as good. read more

I have one caveat to my previous review. I said that "you'll be sure to get the same great treatment every time" you go to here but that's actually only true if you have Kiki do your eyebrows. A couple other times I have gone in and had some of the other staff do my brows and it was not always as great as if Kiki had done my brows - either it was not as gentle or my brows did not turn out as I requested. The last time in particular had me quite disappointed because I specifically asked the girl to NOT make my eyebrows too thin and she agreed, but then when she was done my eyebrows were super thin. Lesson learned, next time I go back I'm specifically asking for Kiki. read more

Kiki is the best threader in the whole wide world! I used to go to Threads in Dublin which is pretty good..they have a whole lotta threaders there at a reasonable price but you can't pick one you specifically want..you get who you get and although they are all decent, some are naturally better than others. Kiki was my favorite there and one day she wasn't there anymore :( I randomly saw her at Ibar in WC and started going there (hate that place, would never have gone there if it wasn't for her). I stopped going when she stopped working there. Turns out she opened up her own shop in San Ramon...uuuuuber convenient for me since I live here. I drove by Kiki's Brows while I was on lunch and checked it on Yelp. When I saw all the 5 star reviews, I knew I needed to try it. I have been having my eyebrows threaded for over ten years and I have to say this was one of the best experiences I have ever had. I did not make an appointment, I walked in and waited less than 2 minutes. I got the brow/lip combo for $16 and she did an impeccable job. The price is great but what is better than the price is how meticulous she is about her work. Anyone who has had threading done probably has had their fair share of experiences at other salons where the threader is careless about errant hairs or careless about causing unnecessary pain/discomfort; this place is NOT like that at all.
